So… um…

I can explain.

I was not in a good position after the last update. I won't go into details about what it is, but I will say that my update schedule will still be just as bad as the previous one.

On the bright side, at least I have started to try to make my own little game. It might not get released for a long while, but at least I got something I can do.

Again, sorry for such a short chapter that might be extremely boring, but I really am running on fumes right now.

I need to rest and think about the future of this fic.

Being an early riser, Blake has no problem being the first to wake up, if her team leader didn't wake up first and proceed to end up forcing everyone to wake up from her hyperactive antics that is.

Luckily for her, Ruby had not yet woken up from her slumber right now, as are the rest of the residents of this new dorm room that they are staying in.

"Right…" Blake muttered, remember that now team RWBY would need to live with their sister team now. She doesn't have too much problem with living in the same room with more people, it's more to do with her reading time. Well, as long as they do not make too much noise, but since Nora Valkyrie is here, it's basically unfeasible.

Slowly descending from her bed to prepare herself for the day, she looked around her to see the rest of the room.

The room mostly stayed the same even after they placed all the things they packed. But there is a rather obvious difference between Team RWBY and Team JNPR's side, since Team JNPR have a very organized arrangement on their side of the room -how did Nora not make a mess?-, while Team RWBY…

It's the same as their Beacon's room.

Not to dwell on the thought, Blake decided to go to the bathroom first and prepare herself for the day. Since they haven't received Twilight Academy's school uniform yet, they can wear their Beacon Uniform right now until they receive this school's uniform.

Disrobing herself in the bathroom and began to wash herself. The hot water trickles down her body and soothes her mind. For now, she decided to just focus on learning any new things that she can learn on this island. Maybe browse the book stores and see if there are any books that caught her interest.

Finishing her bath and wearing her clothes, Blake walked out of the bathroom and saw that most of her roommates had woken up.

Jaune and Ren are apparently in the kitchen, wearing a yellow and pink apron respectively without any embarrassment, preparing meals for the other students.

"There you are, Blake." Ruby ran towards the catgirl. "Jaune and Ren are cooking breakfast for us. C'mon, the food is so good!" After saying her words, she rushed into the bathroom so that she wouldn't have to wait later.

Walking towards the dining table and sitting next to Yang, the food that is displayed is indeed what Ruby had said.

It's the usual bacon and egg breakfast, but the way it is cooked just made it mouth-watering for her and the others.

Nora is already devouring a whole stack of pancakes, not an unusual sight by this point. Good thing she can sit as far away from her as possible because of the way that hyperactive girl just destroyed common table manners. At least Yang actually can eat her food properly.

Weiss is still sleeping, no big surprise. She always wakes up last. Regardless, she decided to begin to eat her breakfast silently.

She then began to think about Mac Anu. Her first impression is that the city is very quaint despite how busy it looks. From what she can see, the people don't seem to have the city life culture that she sees back in Vale. If anything, this place is more like a small town than anything.

"It reminds me so much of home." Getting into that train of thought, Blake suddenly felt guilt swelled inside her. Her thoughts wondered about her home, about the life that she abandoned.

"Ah… if only I…"

"Remnant to Blake." Her thought interrupted. She jolted at Yang's voice and saw the Blonde's worried face. "You ok there? You were spaced out a little there."

Blake blinked for a little and shook her head. "Sorry, I was thinking about this island."

"Oh really?" Ruby joined in the conversation. Seems like she finished her bath and someone is occupying the bathroom now. "I think this place is peaceful, it's like Patch."

"I agree with my sis." Yang chimed in. "A small place that is relatively chill? Yeah it's like Patch alright. Hey, maybe all of us can go there together on the next holiday."

"... I'll consider it." Blake said. She doesn't want to make the decision just yet, no matter how curious she is about Patch.

"Sweet." Yang flashed a toothy grin. "Welp, let's ask Weiss after she showers, yeah?"

Ruby agreed with her sister's proposal. And with that, Blake goes back to eating her breakfast.

Maybe she should ask Jaune and Ren if they can cook a fish dish for her on a later date.

Chigusa walked down the hallway while humming silently. She wonders how the exchange students are right now, hoping that they might be ready now.

As she approached the door, she heard a loud shouting inside the room.

"Open the door already, Yang! How long are you going to occupy it?!"

"Shut up! I still haven't finished cleaning my hair yet!"

"YOU ARE IN THERE FOR MORE THAN HALF AN HOUR ALREADY, WOMAN!"

Chigusa felt an invincible sweatdropped on her head after hearing what happened inside. She decided that she might as well make her own presence known to the students.

Wrapping her hand, she knocked on the door twice. Loud steps were then heard before Nora threw the door open wide.

"Oh hello, Ms. Chigusa! Why are you here? Is there something you want with us? Are you hungry, you wanna eat Ren's pancakes. His pancakes are so good, you have to try it!"

"Oh hello… erm, I'm here to see are you all ready." Chigusa nervously replied, completely caught off guard by Nora's rapid fire outburst. "And don't worry about me, I had my breakfast."

Nora nodded and moved out of the way and rushed towards the blonde boy, Jaune, and talked to him about something. In the meantime, Chigusa walked into the room.

It seems that almost all of them are now ready to go, though if Chigusa heard right, there are two more students that have not yet cleaned themselves up.

Ruby then came to Chigusa to ask her what their agenda for the day and she got a cheerful reply that she will be showing all of them the campus in Twilight Academy.

"Well, you guys can take your time, I'll be waiting outside for now." Chigusa bowed slightly and began to retreat to the room.

However, before she can do that, Ruby decides to walk beside her. "Erm, Miss Chigusa, you don't mind if I ask you a couple of things while we wait, right?"

Chigusa looked at the younger girl and smiled happily. "Sure! I'll answer anything."

The two of them walked out of the room and stood at the side of the door and Ruby began to ask her.

"So… Miss Chigusa, are you one of the students here?" Ruby started.

"Hm, yes. I am now a final year student, so I guess you can say I am your senior right now."

"Oh, really? I thought you were like an assistant teacher or something, but this is just as cool!" Ruby excitedly said.

Once again, Chigusa got caught off guard by another enthusiastic junior. Well, she has to get used to it in the future then.

"Wait, you said you are a final year student, then does that mean you knew the previous exchange students? Who was it? Can you tell me?"

Ruby immediately stopped herself from asking another question, realizing that she might have overwhelmed her senior like Nora.

But instead, she got a soft chuckle from the green-dressed woman. Ruby saw that the woman smiled instead of getting nervous from the outburst. Ruby then followed Chigusa and began to smile too.

"Hehe, I'm sorry. I'm just happy to see someone having so much energy in the morning." She said, but immediately softly muttered. "It's been so long too…"

"Did you say something?"

"Oh, nothing."

From there Chigusa decided to answer Ruby's questions. Chigusa admitted that she studied with the previous exchange students before, though she wasn't very close to them since they were third year students (and she was only second year at that time), much to Ruby's disappointment.

Oh well, can't do much on that one. Maybe she can ask other students about it on a later date.

On another note, Ruby needs to ask Chigusa an important question…

"Erm, Miss Chigusa… can I ask another question? I mean it's a weird one but erm-"

"Just ask away, Miss..."

"Ruby Rose."

"Miss Rose. Just ask me."

Ruby shifted her body a little before she took the courage to ask her the important question. "Erm… canIseeyourweapon?"

Chigusa raised her eyebrow from not being able to decipher Ruby's message. "I-I'm sorry, Miss Rose, can you slow down and ask again?"

Ruby blushed in embarrassment and asked her again. "Can I see your weapon? That is if you have it right now, which I don't think you have-"

"Oh sure."

"-Right now. Huh?"

Chigusa then performed something that can be called a magic trick; because she moved her hand behind her back and a white staff with crystal protrusions held by a golden ring at the head of the staff, came out behind her with a flash of light.

Ruby was completely dumbfounded. How did she do that? Does she have a semblance that lets her put her weapon in a 'hammerspace' or something?

"This is a perk of Folset Blessing." Chigusa said. "It's a bag that was sewn imbued with fragments of old Beast Statues."

"Hu-huah?" Still dumb-founded, Ruby couldn't even speak comprehensible words. Recovering from that, Ruby really wants to ask Chigusa about what she just said.

As if Chigusa had read Ruby's mind, she decided to clear up the little girl's confusion. "Most of us Auroras (yes, we call ourselves Auroras) uses a bag that basically have 'hammerspace', if you will, and as long as the items are not too large or the space in it is not full, then we can store as many useful items in it as we want.

"As for my weapon… well it's just a simple staff that I call Flame Dancer. I use it to aid my semblance." Chigusa explained.

Ruby observed the staff intently as Chigusa silently held her weapon. At first, Ruby looked at the weapon with fascination. However, after a few seconds later, her face shifted to that of confusion before she stared back at Chigusa.

"Is there really no transformation for this weapon?" Ruby asked.

Chigusa shook her head. "Well, I don't see the point of using a mecha-shift weapon to be honest. Besides, I like to have my weapon to be simple and my semblance help covered many parts of the problems I faced."

Ruby silently nodded before she said her thanks to Chigusa as the blonde girl kept her weapons back into her supposed 'bag'.

Just in time too, as the rest of the Beacon Students began to shuffle out of the dorm room and joined the two of them.

"Finally…" Weiss groaned. "Any longer and I will break the door down and just shower."

"Erm… why? Because I was in the shower making sure my hair was clean? Like, really?" Yang asked the ice queen.

Weiss groaned. "You know what, I think I should wake up earlier just so I don't have to wait almost an hour for you. Let's just go."

The school tour was a leisure experience. Obviously the first place that they checked out was the rest of the dorm, where apparently there is a gym that they can use (including bathrooms and sauna rooms) on the top most floor.

The next place that they visited was the lecture buildings, where the bulk of the studying happens. The building contains the lecture halls, science lab, combat arena and apparently even a hospitality training hall fit into this building.

Right next to the lecture building is the lecturer's building, where the professor's office and the headmaster- or Wiseman as they referred to- office. The first floor is where the professor's cubicles are, while the headmaster's office is on the second floor.

Other buildings such as the cafeteria, the forge, finance office and nurse office are their own buildings right in front of the headmaster's office.

Right now, the students will have to meet Wiseman Yata, the headmaster of Twilight Academy first. So, Atoli led them to the lecturer's building to meet her headmaster and receive their timetable and also give them clearer ideas on their course structure for the current semester.

With the tour finished, Atoli immediately brought the exchange students to the headmaster's office, where said headmaster was waiting for the students.

"So, what do you think the headmaster would look like? What do you think, Ren?" Nora wondered.

"I'll hold my judgement, I don't think speculating right away would do any of us good." Ren replied.

"I second that." Jaune said. "Who knows, maybe he is like Mr. Ozpin, or he would not be what we expect."

"Think he might look like a mouse-like creature?" Pyrrha makes a joke to her friends.

Jaune rolled his eyes and chuckled a little. "You definitely have a wild idea there, Pyr. But I think that's not gonna happen, I mean what are the chances?"

Chance is nigh-impossible, but not in another lifetime perhaps.

Once they walked towards the door of the office, Atoli knocked on the door before they heard a gruff voice saying 'enter'.

She opened the door and the students began to shuffle into the room.

In front of them is a bald man sitting behind the desk. He wore a kasaya robe decorated with several symbols on the robe and red-tinted sunglasses.

"It seems that all of you are here," The man said before he stood up and greeted them. "My name is Yata Hino, the Wiseman of Twilight Academy."

"Now sit down, we have a few things we need to discuss."
