Many years had passed since the One Hundred Year War ended. After the war, the Four Nations, excluding the all but extinct Air Nomads-except for Avatar Aang and his descendants have lived together in harmony, once again.

After becoming the new Fire Lord, Zuko's life had turned for the better. There were times where Zuko struggled to keep the peace between Nations. But with the help of his old friends, he is able to pull through in the end.

Over the following years, Zuko had made many accomplishments as Fire Lord. But his biggest accomplishment in life... was marrying Mai. Ever since the year One Hundred AG, shortly before the war ended... Zuko and Mai have been continuously going on an on-and-off relationship with one another. Many times, it would be Zuko's fault that Mai would break up with him. After their breakups, Zuko and Mai would go on their separate ways and see other people. But, things wouldn't work out and would draw back to one another.

In the year One Hundred and Twenty-One AG, twenty years after the war had ended... Zuko and Mai would ultimately tie the knot and get married. It was Zuko's second greatest accomplishment as they had a huge wedding ceremony-where almost everyone was invited to it. Except for Azula, the Kemurikage and Ozai.

Five years after their wedding, Zuko and Mai would happily bring a baby girl into the world named Izumi. Zuko's third greatest accomplishment in life.

Zuko would always put his wife and child first, before the Fire Nation itself and himself.

One day, a six year-old Izumi approached her father within the Fire Nation Palace halls, hoping to ask him a question. Zuko was sitting in the throne room. He wore royal Fire Nation clothing and had grown a long black ponytail and wore his Fire Nation crown on top of his head.

Mai was also present as she sat next to Zuko in the queen's chair. She dressed in all black and red and a bit of a gold necklace. Her hair was longer and she wore a tiara on top of her head.

"Daddy, I have a question." Izumi said as Zuko picked her up and held her in his lap.

"What is it, Izumi?" Zuko smiled at his daughter.

"How did you get that scar?" Izumi asked she pointed at his face.

"My father gave it to me, when I was a prince." Zuko answered after thinking about the Agni Kai duel he had with his father.

Izumi stops and thinks for a moment. Then she asked a question that he never thought she would ask. "Are you going to give me a scar?"

Zuko flinches after hearing that question.

"Yeah, Zuko. Are you gonna give her a scar?" Mai teased her husband as she nudged his right side.

Zuko paused for a moment, then thought about if Izumi had a scar. "Let's not worry about that right now." He embarrassingly chuckled.

Mai laughs.

Izumi stared at her chuckling father.

I know this was short, but this came to my mind.
