Chapter 13: The Arrival of the Corrupt Magician! Fralto Appears!
"Ah, Magina… so nice to see you again! Did you miss me~?" Fralto asked with a devious cackle.
"I thought I banished you." Magina growled.
"Ha! As if! You do realize you foolishly banished me, but taught me the tactics of how to utilize burials of different dimensions?" Fralto asked with a laugh as Magina paled.
"...Curses…!" Magina cursed herself as Fralto laughed.
"So… this is what you've been doing. Building up your little O.I.M… just to try and combat evil like me… hehehe… quite admirable, Master! But I'm leagues above that now. As a matter of fact, I don't even need to use a fraction of my powers to rid of you all!" Fralto laughed before he smirked again. "I dare say it's time to bring this entire Netherworld… no… ALL these Netherworlds, TO THEIR KNEES! OBLITERATE IT ALL! Void Dark, Majorita, Goldion, hehehehe… the Carnage Dimension, ALL of it! HehehehehHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Fralto laughed like a maniac. "I summon! Stardust Dragon - Assault Mode!"
A fierce looking white dragon coated in dark Aura was summoned.
"Red Dragon Archfiend - Assault Mode!" Fralto laughed as he summoned the red dragon variant of the fierce dragons.
"And now for a little necromancy… welcome back, Monsoon! You too, Brute Leo! Eliminate these fools!" Fralto yelled as he summoned the former fallen foes to his aid.
"What in the hell…!?" Killia asked as all this happened.
"Tch… this is not how I expected this to end up…" Siege growled.
"Krgh… Even with our combined strength, we can't match Fralto… but the enemies he summoned we should be able to handle…" Magina growled. "I'll attempt to deal with Fralto, I leave the minions he summoned to the rest of you!" Magina said as she teleported to Fralto.
"What even is all of this!?" Zeroken panicked, as everything was crashing down upon him. "How did I even end up in this mess!? I only came here because of-"
Before his panic could continue, Heiwa walked over and back-handed him hard enough to spin his head and body around.
"Oh, shut up! Like it or not, we're in this mess!" Heiwa shouted.
"...Oh great, the magnetic bastard is back." Raiden cursed. "At least this time, we don't have to worry about Bronya throwing her turrets around."
"Hehehe, what's the matter Raiden? You didn't miss me?" Monsoon asked with a sneer.
"Oh, trust me, no matter how many times you come back, I'll be glad to carve you up." Raiden remarked. "Inuyasha would do the same."
Inuyasha merely scoffed, and drew his weapon to fight Monsoon.
"Looks like we got another pain in the asshole back too." Rutega commented as she saw Brute Leo.
"What's the matter? Not prepared for a rematch?" Brute Leo remarked. "You should know that a fight is not always limited behind the walls of a ring. Besides, if I cannot have either of the Brute Hare or the Brute Lynx, you will settle for the warm-up before I face them!"
"This is absolutely lovely… Everyone! Give this fight all you have! One moment of hesitation and we're done for!" Siege exclaimed.
And such, the large scale battle commenced. There was a large struggle to take down the seemingly incredible foes, But with the combined might of the group, they were able to slay all their adversaries…
As for Magina…
"Ggg…" Magina grunted as she had multiple wounds on her as Fralto laughed.
"Truly! The student has surpassed his master! There is no need for you anymore, Magina!" Fralto yelled as he was charging up an attack.
"LADY MAGINA!" Tessa and Ragnar yelled at the same time as they rushed in front of their master, and took the shot beam in full.
"AAAAAAAARGH!" Ragnar yelled in agony.
"GHAAAAAAAGH!" Tessa yelled in pain, as both collapsed to the ground, steaming from the attack, but not dead.
"No…!" Magina yelled as she saw her disciples fall.
"Typical." Fralto growled. "Always someone getting in my way."
"Sir, we have a situation! Majorita is putting up more of a fight than we expected." A male voice soon called through a communicator to Fralto.
"Oh? Really?" Fralto asked.
"She's recycling our own fallen sir. She's even using the ones you just used in the Netherworld you're occupying sir!" The male voice continued.
"Very interesting. And annoying. Ensure no one else on your force dies, Thor, I shall be over there soon." Fralto said as he disengaged the call. "It appears more of my summoned Duel Monsters require my assistance. Enjoy the mercy while you can. And I'm killing Majorita anyways. Shouldn't you all be thanking me? HAHAHAHAHA!" Fralto laughed like a maniac as he teleported away.
"...Tch… Richard… did you see all this?" Siege asked as he soon contacted Richard while tending to Magina's wounds.
"Well, I'm fortunate that the Lost and whatever faction this fruit-loop is working for, aren't allies." Richard remarked through the comms. "Explains the previous incident with the Duel Monsters. If he's that powerful, then we need to find a way to empower yourselves, or weaken the bastard."
"The way we beat him the last time…" Magina managed to get out as multiple people began healing her wounds. "...I had to place an incredibly difficult spell on him to weaken him… It required time and many distractions… if we could distract him long enough for me to cast this spell, it will render him weak enough that a singular blow from a God would absolutely crush him."
"So let me ask this. What would an effect similar to Hakai do to him?" Rutega asked.
"That would render him unable to return whatsoever- ...Did Lord Beerus teach you such a technique!?" Magina asked Rutega.
"Mayhaps." Rutega mused. "But I prefer not to use it unless absolutely necessary."
"If you could time that just right, Fralto will be no more." Magina said. "But again, we'd have to time both that with my weakening spell… and as of now… I'm in no condition to return to the field of battle…"
"Nonsense. We'll get you back on your feet. The sooner we deal with this threat, the better." Killia said.
"You seem to be gung-ho with helping us deal with this, even though it is of no concern to you." Inuyasha remarked.
"...It is when the threat is pointed at us as well. Zeabolos would likely say the same." Killia answered back.
"It seems that danger lurks beyond this Netherworld then. But I cannot leave Dragon Fang." Drumdawn stated. "...But Magina has told me about your purposes here. You wish to recruit Heiwa and Popol into your ranks, correct?"
"That is true." Siege said. "Their aid would be much appreciated."
"Lord Drumdawn…! You're really allowing us to help them?" Popol asked. "Are you certain? After all, the guardians appointed by Lady Magina also need much medical attention to serve as vanguard."
"I will be fine. I may have just awakened, but I am alert and warmed up enough to handle any more attacks, should they come." Drumdawn stated. "And I do not intend to leave Dragon Fang without a replacement Overlord to take your duties. My dear child, Izuna… I would request that you would take the mantle of Overlord."
"Me? Overlord?" Izuna remarked, as she was flustered by the offer. "N-No, father. I couldn't possibly take over such duties that Mistress and her beloved have devoted themselves to."
"Oh, calm down, Izuna, it's not that hard." Heiwa remarked, as she walked over, and seized Izuna by the shoulders with a smirk on her lips. "You're not far behind me, considering that you were my rival. Shouldn't you be happy that you got the same chance as I did? I knew that you didn't envy me for it, but at least enjoy it. I'm sure that you'll do a great job while we're gone."
"I... " Izuna remarked, as she blushed slightly out of embarrassment. "Alright, I understand. I will pray daily for your safety and success."
"Very well. We welcome you aboard with wide arms." Magina said as she got to her feet. "I'm healed and prepared for the next battle. Let's return to the Pocket Dimension."
Zeroken was silent, as the portal to the Pocket Dimension opened for the group, as they entered, with Zeroken hesitating for a moment, before following after the group.
