To say that the Doctor, or rather 'Emiya Shirou', was calm would be a lie. He was the furthest thing from calm yet outwardly he still somehow managed to keep his face neutral as the sound of battle rang throughout the empty street. Arrows, bolts, clashing blades, screams, cry's, the occasional bullet, the multitude of sounds came upon his ears unwelcome and the source of the sounds was a sight he still hadn't gotten used to and he had a feeling this was a sight that he had to get used to because he was going to see it many more times willingly or not.

The thought unnerved him, but not a crack could be found upon his expression. Of course this wasn't what alerted him the most, no. It was the voice he had heard inside his own head briefly and he just... accepted it. It felt correct to him, as if restoring a missing piece to a puzzle and that puzzle being him.

No, no. Now wasn't the time for this and now wasn't the time be solving puzzles, he knew it and what mattered right now was what was in front of him.

Shirou drew his mind back to reality and focused on the sight of the Reunion members in the middle of the street. Team E3, the team Ace was most likely the leader of struck as soon as Ace had given the order and when he did they descended upon them from various angles. There were some in the buildings firing at Reunion from a safe distance, some emerged from the ally ways hidden away from sight within the shadows, and some had appeared directly behind the enemy.

All the while Dobermann watched on with a keen eye, "Team E3 has been moving undercover this whole time..." Her eyes darting from the locations the members from team E3 having emerged from deep in her thoughts, "I see, they've been waiting for us in order to pincer the enemy."

"When communications are jammed, our teams should operate near the rendezvous point, that way, even if something happens to me or the scout... The broader operation can still be carried out. This is my decision-making." Ace explained and solemn it may have sounded, his choice wasn't wrong. There was no need to risk an entire operation by bringing his entire team here with them out in the open, if he had who knows what would of happened. The element of surprise would of been lost which was guaranteed to happen, the Reunion members tailing after them may have retreated and come back with an even bigger force since both teams combined made up half of their forces, something they seemed to be heavily relying on.

But still, while it was effective there was an unexplainable feeling, it just didn't sit right with Shirou. Was there really a need to sacrifice and risk Ace's own life? The broader operation that Ace spoke of, it would still be carried out but Ace was the leader of team E3 wasn't he? Without him the team would lose their leader and from what Shirou saw, one of the only defenders Team E3 had so their combat capabilities would be reduced, but not by much. Shirou didn't care about that though, he cared about Ace's life.

"In other words, Ace, you left your team back at the rendezvous point and came here alone..." Dobermann stated as a matter of fact as her eyes slightly narrowed.

"Neutralizing threats around the rendezvous is our top objective. Of course, prioritizing on checking your status is a big risk. There's no way I would imperil the entire team. The whole reason teams exist is to increase tactical efficiency. Not the other way around." Shirou yet again found himself reluctantly agreeing with his line of thought for the second time. From what he could remember about teams, they needed to be efficient in order to work the best, and in order to do that the members of the team couldn't just be selected at random.

An example of a 'bad team' could likely be seen in the people he was with. By no means were the operators currently with him bad. Noir Corne, Rangers, Yato, Liskarm and everyone else were actually good, no, in fact they were amazing. But even if he hadn't interacted much with the them or the other operators as much as Amiya, he could see that they didn't work well as a team or at least most of them didn't. Exusiai and Texas, they were one of the if not only sore thumbs that stuck from the rest.

Unlike the rest of the team who were wearing similar colors and outfits Exusiai and Texas's outfit were a stark difference and this wasn't the only clue he received that indicated that they hadn't worked well with the other members or at least from the same group. He gave them credit were credit was due though. They definitely tried to match their tactics and combat style which they adjusted to very well but even with that the two more often than not seemed to stray from them so to speak in and out of combat and had a different approach on things.

At the same time, they weren't really a 'bad team' at least compared to a team that wasn't team E3. He paused for a moment and recollected his thoughts. How did he even know this much anyway? Amiya and the medic had said that he had amnesia and it must of been a severe case of amnesia since he could remember nothing before he was woken up from whatever he was in. If anything, these thoughts that he was having only served to confuse him and draw his curiosity at what his past self was like if he could do most of the things he was doing on sheer instinct.

"Hah. Let's continue our discussion after we've taken care of Reunion!" Dobermann said as she readied her weapon which was a whip, something that still confused him at her choice of weaponry. From what he could even barely remember, whips weren't exactly made for weapons or were even supposed to be used as one.

Ace nodded in response towards Dobermann, "Amiya, you're up."

Amiya received the message and was ready to use her arts when needed, "Doctor, I'm sorry, but could you lead us one more time?"

Shirou knew that time was of the essence, there were no moments of respite during those trip here and it wasn't made easy with the encounters they made on the way. So he steeled himself, Amiya needed him, they needed him. He took a deep breath to calm him nerves though he found that there was no need to as he shockingly discovered that he was calm as ever, they were questions for later. "I'll try my best."

His response managed to get a smile out of Amiya but a new voice joined in coming from his pocket, it was PRTS. The fact that her voice came from his pocket and how her voice was noticeably feminine yet artificial at the same time cemented his thoughts that it was PRTS. It didn't need to be said though that PRTS unique voice was the only one that sounded artificial within the entire group. "The Doctor will do his best, I will assure it, Amiya."

And that was when he realized that for the short amount of time that he met and knew PRTS, he didn't know what to expect out of it... her... whatever PRTS was though it was to be expected since he had amnesia. But for PRTS to chose to correct him of all things and especially now? There was even some sort of underlaying tone that PRTS had and he didn't even know what that underlaying tone could be.

He honestly should of felt at least slightly offended but he couldn't bring himself to mostly due to the reason that PRTS had become his saving grace, everyone here, or at least Amiya, was relying on him far too much than they needed to and it was to the point it had started to become overbearing. They were trusting in his skills that he had no knowledge of and if he made a wrong decision he could put everyone in danger.

"Doctor, your heart rate is spiking. I recommend you do these breathing exercises." PRTS kept true to her words and had in fact recommended breathing exercises and he wondered how PRTS even managed to detect his own heart rate. In fact, how did he not realize that his own heart rate had started to beat faster?

"PRTS, stop messing with the Doctor and help him, Team E3 will need our help." Dobermann raised her voice at the AI who obliged with her command.

"Affirmative. Doctor, I will monitor team E3's status, you will command the operators as usual, I trust that you will not fail us." His saving grace turned out to be a lie as he let out a sigh at PRTS.

But now wasn't the time for complaining as he focused his attention on Exusiai and Texas, "Exusiai, Texas, I want you two to split of from our team and work together as a pair, if you see any stragglers among the enemies try and take them out. If you can't then focus on finding any leaders among them and make none of them have a clear shot on anyone here. And Exusiai, try not to waste too many bullets since ammo is going to be a problem for you later." Texas briefly nodded at him before running off while Exusiai gave him a thumbs up and followed after her partner.

"Ace, Liskarm, I want you two to draw the enemies attention, unlike the other operators you're both the most protected out of us all and are least likely to sustain any grievous injuries. Dobermann, I want you to go assist them if there were a possibility either of them could get any grievous injuries and to assist them in provoking the enemy." The three of them unlike Exusiai and Texas ran forward but this time directly towards the enemy passing some of the members from team E3. Ace all the while put aside his hammer Shirou had only just now noticed and brought out a concealed handgun as Liskarm similarly readied her handgun, the two of them sharing the same thought as they nodded to each other.

He then looked towards Amiya who seemed both shocked and slightly happy at him for a reason he could not know, "Amiya, since you're the only person along the entire group who can deal some real damage to heavily armored enemies, I want you to stay behind and sit the battle out. We don't want to run the risk of fighting more armored enemies later on and you being too tired to fight them." He honestly didn't know if she could get tired from using her arts but it was better to be safe than sorry because if she could get tired from using her arts too many times then they wouldn't have the ability to counter heavily armored Reunion soldiers as easily, besides relying on unorthodox tactics to take them down of course.

The rest of the operators that had and still were escorting him were getting antsy, at least the more least identifiable ones as they waited for his commands, "Everyone else assist team E3. And Noir Corne, please continue defending and the girls." With his final words said the battle before him had ramped up as he gently pushed the two girls who hoped they had forgotten about them behind him, well, the older one did anyway.

Ace, Liskarm, and Dobermann tried their best to draw the enemies attention and had in fact did by metaphorically dumping their mags onto the enemy both suppressing them and hitting at least a couple. The rapid fire of small arms directed at them had already caused the many who already weren't in cover to dive for cover lest they run the risk riddled with holes. The few who weren't able to reach cover in time were quickly and efficiently killed as Texas and Exusiai both focused on them before retreating to another location causing their situation to worsen.

The other operators who were given less specific orders by him were by no means doing worse than the ones he had given specific orders to. They had quickly engaged in battle while at the same time managed to divide the Reunion members effectively into two, one too pinned down and being picked off to assist and the other already locked into battle made worse as more operators joined in on the ambush.

From his perspective all seemed to be going well as Noir Corne and Amiya, the only two had were not in battle remained at his side keeping a vigilant eye on the enemy while simultaneously making sure to be prepared for an attack on him. If everyone kept up this pace then a swift victory was bound to come.

Before Texas and Exusiai listened to the 'Doctors' orders and who they both knew formerly as 'Emiya Shirou' it only confirmed the words that were told to both her and Exusiai. That Shirou really and truly did have amnesia.

She briefly dodged out of the way from two 'stragglers' as Exusiai shot a burst of bullets at one to momentarily incapacitate him as she used her arts to quickly incapacitate the other before efficiently giving them a swift death with a swing of her blade.

With the distraction done and over she thought back to Shirou, he was different. That much was obvious yet at the same time by being a different person he somehow managed to be the same person. Maybe not the same person as she briefly knew before his change but the man before the change. She remembered when Rhodes Island or more specifically Amiya, the person who would stick to his side basically every time she saw her had offered her a job or at least offered a job to the whole of Penguin Logisitics. She didn't give anyone much information on said job not because she wanted to but needed to, saying that this was a mission that they could know of only after accepting and that it was best to keep it a secret.

At the time Penguin Logistics didn't have any sort of bad relationship with Rhodes Island but no one had accepted for the sole reason of everyone already being occupied and seeing as she and Exusiai were the only ones who had nothing to do took the job without much complaint. At first they both didn't know what to expect from the job but when Amiya told them that they were to provide a armed escort, something they usually did, gave them an idea.

It wasn't until later on when they reached a location Amiya deemed safe that she fully disclosed why she had requested an armed escort from Penguin Logistics. It was because they all or at least most of them knew Shirou at one point and because Amiya wanted more people just in case the operation went wrong, because this operation involved recovering Shirou. At the mention of the long forgotten man and the news of even possibly meeting him again, both Texas and Exusiai couldn't help but reminisce about him.

The man changed basically before their very eyes and not only had he changed as a person but the way he operated had also changed. Not only that, but Shirou had disappeared off of the face of Terra unexpectedly without anyone knowing why or how and she wouldn't lie in saying that he had taught her a few things in swordsman ship along with his style of combat, or at least the more efficient way to use her arts. Exusiai didn't have much to learn from him like she did but she stuck around for the apple pie as ridiculous as it sounded and to keep up with Texas as she grew refusing to be left behind in the dust.

After the news of recovering Shirou the two of them took this job differently compared to their usual ones and refused to allow a single error in this entire mission. One way they did this was by acting as the scouts for Rhodes Island and at the same time would fight on the frontlines when needed, yet their wasn't much of a need as they avoided any sort complications along the way. All of this just to meet the man who mysteriously disappeared as quickly as possible and complete this job as well. Only for complications to happen and instead of the Emiya Shirou they knew they met an amnesiac and who remembered basically nothing but even though the now amnesiac remembered nothing he still retained some of his skills through his instincts, at least his more tactical skill.

She honestly wanted to eat some pocky right this instance due to the fact that she had caused her own headache for no reason while Exusiai remained more optimistic than her pointing out that he still was technically the same person they knew. Which was mostly true as he kept his most foolish instinct of all and saved two young girls from a possible death.

"Texas, what's on your mind?" Exusiai asked her curiously as she fired another burst of bullets at someone who strayed a little too far from the group.

"Nothing important."

Exusiai looked as if she didn't believe a single word that had came out of her mouth, and she didn't, "This about leader?"

She let out a brief sigh as she looked at the 'leader' in question, Shirou as his face was barely visible due to his mask and the distance they were from him as he stayed in the far back watching everyone fight. Something he would almost never do, at least until he became an amnesiac, "He wasn't the Shirou I've been expecting."

"Me too. Expected him to be more... gun-like." Texas was honestly beginning to wonder when she would mention guns or apple pie but for it to take this long? She hadn't even mentioned them during the trip to find the Doctor.

"Gun-like..." It didn't stop Texas from blandly repeating after her though.

"Gun-like." Exusiai confirmed as she defined Shirou with weapons he never even used though she could see some similarities if they were both thinking about the same thing.

In their conversation they failed to notice one specific Reunion member among the dozen same looking individuals who pulled out a radio. His face may be masked but the gestures he made immediately drew both of their attention as even though he was surrounded by his allies, they made to stop him.

"Oi, it's the bastards picking us off, stop them!" The Reuion members though less trained than the both of them quickly made to intercept very well knowing that they may lose their lives. Some of the more perceptive ones even knew who their goal is as they made to pick up a large debris from the ground large enough to block the man. Some even diverted their attention from Ace, Liskarm, and Dobermann and fired at Exusiai the only one that could currently shot him.

Noticing the Reunions attention towards them Exusiai ran to a suitable area to both defend her from bullets while also allowing her to shot her own. Texas though unlike Exusiai ran towards the man in a mad dash and with a single moment activated her arts in full as Texas fired them forward at full speed as they immediately pierced into many Reunion members but it did little to dissuade them. "Exusiai, hurry!" At this rate she wouldn't be able to reach him and stop him from doing whatever he was going to do.

"There too many of them blocking him, I can't get him!" She responded and instead chose to assist Texas with three more bursts of shots as each burst each their intended target as three more men moving to intercept Texas collapsed to the ground.

No more words would be needed as she understood fully what was happening as two machetes were swung at her intending to bisect her and decapitate her. Their movements though were far to telegraphed for someone like her and she quickly dodged out of the way, her sword instead swiftly impaling one of them and in an unorthodox way had both surprised the second man and blocked herself from the blade as his machete met his impaled allies back. A bullet soon followed after as it entered his head giving him no time to contemplate what he had done as he dropped on to the floor.

Closer to her target and now with a clear line of sight she used her arts once more to form swords above her and fired them at the man intent on silencing him from whatever he was about to do. In desperation one of the Reunion members shoved the man as hard as he could out of the way while and in the process being skewered in the process of his decision.

"She's close to the alleyway, nows the time to unleash them!" Hearing his words louder and clearer she turned towards the alleyway in question and saw what she had hoped to avoid, Reunions reinforcements. Their reinforcements were a pack of hounds all strapped with something on their backs. Quickly assessing their threat level she confirmed from her many experiences that they weren't strapped with any sort of bombs but instead with a sort of monitoring equipment.

Remembering the item Amiya had given her before the entire operation even began and its importance she spoke into it at least not before driving her sword into the mans heart now that she was finally within range, "Doctor, there are enemy hounds!"

"Got it!" Shirou's voice immediately responded as it came out of the small box like item Amiya had given her as she recalled Amiya telling her that this wasn't the final product and this version was essentially in it's testing stages. She was even glad that it worked because Amiya had also told her it had some requirements to work at it's fullest potential, one of those requirements was being within a certain range.

His voice came out again after a short pause, "Texas, I've sent Dobermann, Ace, and Liskarm to assist you two in repelling them. You should be seeing them close by right now." As he had said, the three mentioned people were drawing closer and since the once large group of Reunion was now divided and one half essentially defeated there was little resistance in reaching Texas's location as Exusiai had done the same now that it was more safer.

Texas had not missed the hesitation among many of the operators of Rhode Island with killing these new foes and with less time to act these operators would need to make a decision. Exusiai and Texas had already made theirs.

Some of the hounds had immediately lunged at them mouth open in hopes of sinking their fangs into their flesh yet neither of them would let that happen. Exusiai was one of the targets of the hounds as she immediately rolled away putting herself out of its reach as she shot a single bullet into its head. The result was as Exusiai had expected with its dead body meeting the ground, she aimed her gun back at the group of hounds sparing little time watching the hounds dead corpse and shot at the hounds further away.

Texas was also one of the soon to be victims of the hounds as they had also lunged at her and though she may be more inexperienced in fighting a hound she didn't let it stop her from killing them as she allowed herself to swiftly riposte as her blade sank into it's body and just as quick as it entered it soon exited to meet another hound before coming to a halt. A hammer, one that she identified belonging to Ace slammed into another hound as it met the ground with a hard thud.

He wasn't the only one to act as the other operators had made their decision as well just as quickly. She may not have worked alongside Rhode Island often and especially nowadays but she was glad to see that Rhodes Island still retained its efficiency in and out of combat.

The fight was over. It didn't take long before the final Reunion member to be put down and he felt like this fight had taken an hours but what he thought were hours was no where near close to the actual time it had taken for Rhodes Island to claim victory, and he was keenly aware of how quick it was especially with PRTS reminding him of it. It was still all so surreal to him and what he had witnessed yet again, their startling prowess, the almost nonexistent hesitation they had as they took another persons life, and how he still somehow managed to retain his calm and collected disposition throughout the entire event.

He wasn't the only one to notice his own current disposition, "Doctor, are you ok?" Amiya asked as she stood beside him watching the other operators from afar.

His mind immediately registered her words and he ignored his strange dilemma in favor of focusing on Amiya, "Nothing to worry Amiya, I'm just glad no one got hurt."

"Uh... Gahh..." Dobermann's panting drew his attention now that they finally reached them and now that they were closer she wasn't panting because of any sort of injury but because she seemed more tired out than anything. What he assumed to be exhaustion was proven wrong as she quickly slammed her fist into a nearby wall with vigor, "Those sick bastards! I can't believe they, they..." Her gaze drifted towards the dead hound as she seethed in anger.

She wasn't the only one to do so as two others joined her, "Those beasts..." A man repeated yet someone he didn't remember seeing before as his sword trembled in his grip, perhaps a member of team E2? "Was this reunions doing...?"

"Amiya, am I... missing something?" Shirou asked her slowly as he too looked at a hound and then at a Reunion member, failing to see the connection besides how they seemed to be on the same side.

"Reunion enslaved infected beasts to use as troops..." Amiya elaborated as Dobermann shook her head at the explanation.

"No, it's not that simple... I can feel it, they... are no mere beasts. In fact, they're more like us..." Dobermann's words hanged in the air, leaving a short yet uncomfortable silence as everyone already knew what she meant.

The same man who was most likely a guard from his equipment uttered just loud enough for everyone to hear, "Instructor Dobermann..." She didn't even react as her name was called continuing to stare at the bodies scattered about. With no response to be found the guard directed his attention to Ace, "Boss... what should we do?"

"Give them a merciful end." Ace spoke, eyeing the hounds that were still alive from the earlier battle but far too weak and exhausted to move its own body.

"Boss..." The guard only watched as Ace approached one of the many hounds still breathing and brought his weapon up and just as quickly as he brought the weapon up he allowed it to fall down and end the hounds life.

Team E3 were the first to follow his example then the team currently with Shirou soon followed after but even then, a majority of the operators hadn't join them and among the said majority, many had opted for checking on fellow operators that needed some sort of medical assistance while others allowed their body to relax while they still could.

Emiya Shirou though eyed one particular hound. It was by all means the same as the many other hounds that he saw from a distance. Yet the only reason he eyed this one in particular was that its gaze was glued onto him and him alone with an unyielding fire behind its eyes that only sought out his death. Its gaze was no different from the many other hounds that had previously attacked them.

Had the Reunion really done this? But why? He knew the answer, or at least suspected one but it was an answer he refused to accept.

Then a tug was felt, there wasn't much strength behind the tug but it drew his attention. He looked down and saw the little sister tugging at his clothing staring at him blankly but he saw something in her eyes and by the way she carried herself. She simply just wanted to know if he was ok, it was a simple yet silent question but that didn't stop the older sister who could of burned a hole through his head with her stare alone.

He still didn't know why the older of the two possible siblings held such a hatred for him and everyone else here but he refused to let it stop him from reassuring the younger girl with a smile and ruffling her hair all the while. He even ignore the older girl as she bristled in anger and she did well to conceal it to the best of her ability.

Yet even for all of his reassurance he wasn't ok and this battle only serves to dampen his mind and body.

"Doctor." He found his gaze shifting up and found his eyes looking into a familiar shade of yellow, it was Texas and in her hands was her blade being offered to him.

"Texas?" His words conveyed his confusion at the offered blade so she simply eyed the hound he had been looking at earlier and then eyed the blade. Ah, of course. He hadn't missed the few times Texas had eyed him and the times she did she merely observed and she did it thoroughly as if she was searching for something, what it could be? He had no clue.

Either way he nodded his head in thanks and took the offered blade as his hands now firmly grasped its hilt and made his way to the hound. Even if his attention was solely on the hound he couldn't miss the figure of Ace passing him and approaching Dobermann but he ignored him. As he drew closer its struggle only increased as it tried with every fiber of its being to attack him yet he stood over the hound and brought up the blade and went to drive it down into its head hoping it would have a quick and painless death.

He drove the blade down and suddenly stopped, mere seconds later it was like a switch had been flipped. The sword in his hand quickly found itself being flipped from its reverse grip to the more standard grip with practiced ease and swiftly decapitated the hounds head, all signs of struggles it had initially been showing had completely stopped.

Yet with the deed done and over Shirou remained in place, his eyes fixtated on Texas's blade as a feeling in the back of his mind reared itself and began constantly pestering his mind over and over as if it wanted him to do something. He didn't know what his own body was trying to tell him, but he couldn't even begin to fathom what it was. His own body handled the Texas's sword, no matter how brief, as if he was some sort of skilled master, and a skilled master he was not. Maybe it was an instinct? But if it was then why was this "instinct" not found when he had wielded another sword previously?

"...Shirou?" Hearing his supposedly first name said with a certain amount of familiarity, the nagging feeling he felt was gone like he hadn't even experienced it. Texas stood beside him staring at him even deeper than before as if that unknown thing she was previously searching for on him was found.

"Yes?" He asked awkwardly as he even looked down at his own body to see what she was searching for, his curiosity now getting the best of him. "A-ah, thank you for the sword." He feebly offered the sword back to its rightful owner as her gaze seemed to soften.

She examined him for a while longer before slightly shaking her head and without explaining her need for examining him she took the sword out of his hand and began making her way towards her companion Exusiai who shot him a thumbs up and it looked like even she had seen something.

As he watched Texas leave a jolt ran down his spine and a feeling of dread. Was this his body trying to tell him something again?! Even with the amount of dread he was feeling he could tell that whatever was causing this feeling was behind him and he quickly found himself turning around and found himself staring into Amiya's face as her eyes were closed and a smile on her face that caused even more dread to course through him as she stared at something or someone behind him.

"A-Amiya?" He said slowly in equal amounts of shock and suprise at finding out that it was Amiya of all people to cause him to feel this uncanny amount of dread.

"Yes, Doctor?" Her earlier expression along with the feeling of dread had completely disappeared and he could only wonder if things were finally getting to him. Amiya though recalled one of the reasons why she approached the doctor, "Ah, Doctor we don't have much time left. A catastrophe is nearing Chernobog."

The name alone already told him much about what a catastrophe could entail yet this was the first time he had heard of this, "A catastrophe?" He parroted after her unaware of a catastrophes dangers.

A look of understanding passed her features as she began to explain what a catastrophe is yet keeping it short in the process, "Catastrophes are natural calamities like storms, floods, and even meteor showers though there are many more and they all occur frequently. They happen sporadically and at random times so civilizations resorted to moving entire cities to avoid these catastrophes, but these catastrophes leave behind originum, an important resource that can be used for almost everything. It's even the reason why these cities can move."

With this new found knowledge on catastrophes Shirou could only view a catastrophe as one thing, a blessing and a curse, because that was simply what it is. There was no doubt in his mind that a catastrophe could take many lives, in fact it probably did take many lives but knowing that originum was left behind... No, there was no need to allow his thoughts to stray there.

"Doctor?" Amiya called out to him and she seemed farther away than what he remembered, almost everyone seemed farther away than usually and he almost felt his heart jump out of his chest when he didn't spot the two sisters but that was avoided as they were near the front of the group.

"Sorry, everything's just... new to me." He apologized weakly as he caught up with Amiya and walked beside her.

Hearing his weak apology she allowed a small nostalgic smile to bloom on her face as a small laugh accompanied it, "Even if you have amnesia, Doctor, you still seem to be the same person, if barely noticeable."

What? Before he had anytime to question her she had quickly left to join Dobermann and Ace in the front leaving him by himself. First Texas and now Amiya? Maybe there was a correlation between what Amiya had said and what Texas was looking for, was it something that involved his past self who he knew nothing about? No, no, the idea seemed to far fetched, but that wouldn't stop his curiosity.

Yet those two really weren't helping his situation at all, leaving him with only more questions to try and figure out than answers. He could already feel the makings of a headache but it could be that he was just simply thinking about this too much, which he most likely was. But could one truly blame him? Seemingly rescued because of his talents but only to find an amnesiac

Ah, how could he forget about PRTS? PRTS was useful especially since she provided information and had information on every single person here, some more specific than others, "PRTS? Are you there?" He had no idea if this would work but PRTS was the only person he could turn to to answer these unanswerable questions of his.

Thankfully PRTS had responded, "Yes, Dr. Emiya?" Dr. Emiya? Not many people even called him that as much as his first name since most people simply decided to call him Doctor and even then it was at least a handful of people that used his name and not his title.

"I need information on someone, Shirou Emiya." He got straight to the point as he eyed the sky which had subtly gone darker, was it going to rain soon?

"..." PRTS had without question brought up a page, more specifically his page. But with the page brought up he hadn't immediately gone off and searched for any sort of information, at least bit yet. He stared at a single image, an image of an Auburn haired man in the garb of what he was currently wearing now as a pair of amber eyes stared at him.

He ignored his own image and moved on to what he was searching for and found his first piece of information and what was labeled as "Basic Info."

[Code Name] Shirou

[Gender] Male

[Combat Experience] Undisclosed

[Place of Birth] Unknown

[Date of Birth] Unknown

[Race] Undisclosed

[Height] 174

[Infection Status] Non-infected as confirmed by medical report.

He let out a sigh, even if this was deemed as basic information it was still covered in far too many question marks for his liking and it held nothing important besides telling him his own infection status. But for his race and his combat experience to be both labeled as undisclosed? It was obvious that someone was trying to hide something, but who? Either way, he went on to the next piece of information on the file this time labeled as "Physical Exam."

[Physical Strength] Standard

[Mobility] Standard/Excellent

[Physical Resistance] Standard/Excellent

[Tactical Acumen] Excellent

[Combat Skill] Outstanding

[Originium Arts Assimilation] Excellent

Upon reading the physical exam he could only stare in muted shock. His mobility and Physical resistance, while the only ones to have two ratings both shared the label "standard" just like his physical strength but also at the same time it also had the label of excellent. His mobility didn't seem "excellent" at least compared to the Guards and Vanguards of the group than what the file actually said, and he wasn't even going to test his physical resistance anytime soon since he didn't want to run the risk of dying. His tactical acumen didn't even seem as impressive as what he was led to believe if his combat skill was "outstanding".

Even if this was a sort of rating it still told him much and could probably explain his "instinct" as he used Texas's sword no matter how briefly since his combat skill was "outstanding", most likely the highest score there was. But for his "originum arts assimilation" to be an excellent was... confusing. Did that mean he could do the same thing as Amiya? If so the only question so far was how was he supposed to use it or even activate it.

This still didn't seem to the last of the file, something he was glad for as he went onto the next category, "Profile". As he went to read the file-

"Dr. Emiya, I am afraid I cannot allow you to view anything else." His access was restricted

"But, but why? I was so close too!" He didn't shout, yet he raised his voice in frustration as he caught a few curious glances his way.

"..."

He let out a sigh, so PRTS wasn't even going to tell him why? Still, he refused to let it stop him so the next best thing he could think of, "A compromise?"

"..."

Silence was his answer again and he tried once more, "At least one single thing?"

"Very well-"

"Let me view the entire file."

"No." Just as quickly as he said PRTS just as quickly denied him immediately without a single thought. It was worth a try at least.

"Then show me something about my originum arts assimilation or even combat skill, please." He didn't need to view anything else, just this was fine enough for him. And his request was granted in the form of one singular archive file.

Emiya Shirou at first glance appears to have no outstanding skills or features, but when placed within a battle his skill with any sort of bladed weapon has garnered attention from many operators and his tactical prowess begins to shine.

One of his many skills and use of orginium arts share a resemblance to one individual known as Texas, who is currently working for Penguin Logistics. Their originium arts allows both of them to form swords suspended in the air and fire them at high speeds crudely dubbed "Sword Rain." Though it is to be noted that unlike Texas, Shirou forms different types of weapons that fall under the "bladed" category and often wields them into combat making him armed at all times.

There does not appear to be any visual cue upon the use of the arts during analysis but a phrase is said prior to the use of the arts-

And this was where the file had ended and he had a feeling that no matter how many more times he pestered PRTS about this matter she would only continue denying him or just ignore him.

Even if he was allowed a glance at some of the information he was thankful either way even if it was what he assumed to be half of an archive file. It wasn't like he was expecting much anyways because he had truly believed that he would of been denied and if he was he would have left the matter there, but he had gotten his way and what he expected to be too little had in fact been the opposite as this could have been even too much.

And so, his thoughts were occupied. He had no idea for how long, but it wasn't as long as it seemed in his eyes as the scenery around him hadn't changed much and the only noticeable difference was the sky as it seemed to continue to gradually and steadily darken and what Shirou had initially assumed to be rain was quickly being rethought.

By now the first droplets of rain should've already been seen or at least felt yet the only thing he felt was a foreboding feeling as he looked at the sky.

Next Chapter: A Traveler to Teyvat

I do realize I'm not involving some of the characters as much as the others - I think - and those characters being Rangers, Yato, and Liskarm and a few others so their kinda just there. Silently standing there. Menacingly.

Anyway the whole file Physical exam thing was somewhat difficult and if your curious how the scaling then starting from worst to best it's Normal, Standard, Excellent, and Outstanding. I also didn't know how tall to make Shirou. Don't ask.

Chapter also seems a bit everywhere, not flowing right you know? Or it could be my awful sleep schedule. That or my passion for writing has died down even more. Maybe I really should be writing oneshots instead... Nah, just ain't the same.

But let me tell you what isn't the same and that is my awful memory 'cause oh boy do I not even remember what I wrote in chapter one and two because I was having one hell of a brain fart questioning if this was what I wrote because I remembered something quite different. Can't tell if I'm remembering the right thing or not though but yeesh!
