This story was a standalone, posted here over a decade ago. However, since I just finished a prequel to it (A Red Sun Rises), I am currently rewriting all chapters to merge the two stories, with a little bit more emphasis on the minor characters and OCs. Just a short oneshot of a young Legolas, being super cute, and some parental Thranduil. Plus a showing of how all elves love their prince. Idk, It's fluffy, and has young Legolas, so...you should read it?

Legolas is on some time off; surely nothing could go wrong, right? Wrong. The elven prince can never stay out of trouble, much to his father's dismay. He always seems to find the most unexpected ways to get injured, or even poisoned. Wait, what does a rock have to do with it?

Life in Rohan was simple and peaceful for the most part. Héodis lived as well as she could, same as her kinsmen, but that also meant that she shared in their grief and their troubles. With war looming over the horizon, Héodis fears that she will lose more of the people that she cares for including the man she loves. Some mature content later on.

Shall we see what Thranduil is like as a young elfling, and what type of mischief that he will get up to, and drag his friends into? Oh, and shall we also investigate how much concussions hurt, compared to normal headaches? This is a terrible summary, I know.

Legolas assists a child who is about to fall down a hill, shielding him from the fall with his own body. What will King Thranduil do when his son will not wake up at the bottom? Basically my mind went: Concussion, Legolas, let's write! Rated T just to be safe, and for some mentions of blood...?
