As you probably know, things ultimately turned out all right for our debtors. Cuphead and Mugman defeated the Devil and burned all of the soul contracts they collected, setting the debtors free. After throwing the duo a party for the ages, they resumed their lives, having learned a grave lesson about dealing with the Devil.

Sal, Ollie and Chauncey transformed back into their old selves, and turned their lives around by finding jobs that allowed them to use their quirks to their advantage. Sal put his aggression to good use as a bouncer, Ollie's propensity for tears made him a perfect injury attorney, and Chauncey's bizarre beliefs attracted him quite an audience as a radio talk show host.

Beppi the Clown, as per the deal, retained his otherworldly powers. However, he was able to rebrand himself as a carnival freak, and the revulsion he inspired quickly became his greatest asset.

Ribby and Croaks struck their loss against the Devil from their record, and proclaimed themselves undefeated once more. That title, however, only lasted until Cuphead and Mugman stopped by their arena boat and beat them fair and square.

The success of Marriage is Hard helped catapult Sally Stageplay into stardom. She became renowned primarily as a comedic actress, before she absolutely stunned audiences with a bone-chilling performance as Lady Macbeth.

Baroness Von Bon Bon begrudgingly called a truce with Cagney Carnation after her feud with him almost led her to destroy her own kingdom. It helped that one of her royal chefs taught her that some vegetables could be caramelized, leading her to soften her stance on them. Meanwhile, Cagney started growing sugarcane, as a way to show the baroness that he was burying the hatchet.

Werner Werman scrapped his mechanical cat and conceived a far less dangerous (and less traumatizing) way to keep the cat at bay. As he discovered, the cat absolutely loved cheese - camembert, in particular. So every week, Werner and his neighbors would leave some cheese outside their hole to keep the cat satiated.

Goopy Le Grande returned to the forest to life a quiet, peaceful life alone. Due to his love of shapeshifting, few visitors ever spotted him, unless they were keeping an eye out for unusually blue animals and vegetation.

Grim Matchstick left his dragon commune in search of a community that wouldn't be quite so judgmental. Eventually, he found one: a community of friendly dragons living by the sea, in a village they called Honah-Lee.

Cala Maria, try as she might, couldn't stop thinking about Mugman after the party. Weeks later, her heart was sent aquiver when Mugman paid her a surprise visit in his biplane; as luck would have it, he couldn't stop thinking about her either.

When Djimmi the Great's soul contract was voided, his three wishes were undone. This, regrettably, meant that he no longer had his freedom... until Cuphead and Mugman, in an act of commendable selflessness, tracked down his lamp and used their first wish to set him free, this time for good.

Captain Brineybeard set out on what would be a months-long voyage. It would be a while before he could forgive his family for dumping their soul debt on him without telling him.

Hilda Berg cut all ties with her two sisters, and resolved to become a better person in the absence of their toxic influence. Her journey to find herself eventually led her to the forest, where she met and formed a lifelong friendship with Goopy Le Grande.

Rumor Honeybottoms eventually caved in and agreed to sell a portion of her honey to the public. Ultimately, this worked out well for her; she became a popular figure in the neighborhood due to the deliciousness of her honey, and she used her profits to pay for better security.

Wally Warbles still had a lot of debt to pay off at King Dice's casino, so he reluctantly agreed to work there until his debt was paid off. You needn't worry about his son, though; Willy's prodigious intellect earned him a fully-paid scholarship to Acme Acres University. With any luck, he would have fantastic career prospects after graduating.

The Phantom Express, surprisingly, carried on just fine, even after the Phantom Airlines came back into existence. As it turned out, there were still plenty of souls that preferred the unparalleled thrills and horror of the Express over the speed and convenience of the Airlines.

Dr. Kahl's robot, regrettably, had to be shut down after suffering severe damage at the hands of Cuphead and Mugman. But the doctor was able to salvage the robot's CPU, which still had its soul dwelling inside. He plugged the CPU into a small, self-flying drone - which, while much smaller and less impressive, still provided the doctor with all the companionship he wanted.
