Letty and Camille pull up to the airport and there's a military plane waiting to take off. They step out the car and grab their bags out the trunk. They walk on the tarmack and there's a older man with pepper grey hair wearing black shades waiting at the bottom of the stairs.
"Mom who's that?"
"A friend of your dad's. Go on ahead and get on the plane, I'll be up in a minute." Cami walks up the steps and gets on the plane while Letty talks with Mr. Nobody.
"I'm used to getting called in favors from your husband."
"You really under-estimate me that much?"
"His wife? No. I just didn't take you as someone who runs and hides."
"Well as you can see, I have new priorities." She says as she shows her visible bump with her hand.
"Congratulations. Boy or girl?"
"We don't know yet."
"We can take you anywhere you girls need to be. You sure you don't want to join us in New York?"
"You know I can't."
"I know you and Dom are new to the parenting department but when it comes to protecting your kids, you can underestimate how far you'll go to protect them. There's no limit to what you're capable of."
Letty thought deeply about what he said as they walked up to the plan steps. She was never the person to run and hide, her spirit has always been in the chaos. She drops her bag down and gets in her seat next to Cami.
"Mom where are we going?"
"We are going home where you are going to stay safe while I go with Mr. Nobody to meet with your dad."
"You're going?"
"I know you're scared but part of my job being your mom is protecting you and right now I'm doing it. I promise me and your dad are going to come back home to you. Are you mad at me?"
"No. I was hoping you'd go with dad anyway. You're kind of a badass between the two of you."
"You think I'm a badass?"
"Yeah. I have one question though?"
"What?"
"Do you and dad work for the CIA or something because how the hell are you able to call in a plane?"
"Me and your dad are kind of freelance for the government. That's all I can tell you."
"Okay." Cami lays her head on Letty's shoulder and Letty lays her head on her. She smiles knowing her daughter feels proud of her and knowing she's making the right choice to protect her family.
Letty and Cami arrive in Los Angeles at the DSS headquarters. They walk out the elevator and meet with an agent waiting in the lobby waiting to meet them.
"Good Morning Mrs. Toretto. I'm Agent Callahagn."
"Nice to meet you."
"We have a agent assigned to take care of your daughter." He says as they walk into a seaperate room. "Our agents will have you escorted on one of our jets to get you to New York."
"Thank you so much."
"How long am I going to be with them?"
"Hopefully not long. It depend how fast we can take down Cipher before she tries to take down the world." The door opens and Letty face turns from relief to shock over who walks.
"This is Elena Neves. She'll be the main agent involved in your daughter's protection detail."
"We've already met."
"Great. We'll be waiting outside. Let us know when you're ready to go." He walks out the room and all three women of Dom's life were standing across from each other.
"Cam can you wait outside while I talk to Agent Neves."
"No problem. I can feel the awkward tension already." She walks out the room leaving Letty and Elena in awkward silence for a few seconds.
"I know I'm the last person you want to see but i didn't know that I was protecting Camilla until I walked in this morning. I'm not going to beg on my knees for an apology because I know you don't want to hear it but I can give you my word that I will protect her by any means neccessary."
"You're right. You are the the last person I want to see right now but you're also the only person I can trust to protect my child. Regardless of what's happened, you're one of the few people that kept Dom alive while I was gone. I'm trusting you to do the same with our daughter."
"I'll guard her with my life."
Letty walks out the and Elena follows behind her. She walks over to Camilla and puts her hands on her shoulders. "I know you're getting tired of these goodbyes."
"Only a little."
"Promise you'll listen to Ms. Neves and stay out of trouble?"
"How am I gonna get into trouble?"
"You're your father's daughter, you'll find a way. As soon as we're done with Cipher, we can go back home and have the life we promised."
"I'll stay out trouble. Take care of my little brothers in there."
"You're hoping for brothers?"
"I mean I'm the only one that can be the princess of the house."
"What if you get two sisters?"
"Than we can share the title. I'd just be the head in charge."
"You are definetely my mini me." She hugs her daughter tightly and Cami hugged her back.
"I love you mom."
"I love you too baby." She kisses her forehead and gives her one last squeeze in her hug. "I promise I'll be back." She walks off with two other agents and gets on the elevator.
"So how do you know my parents?"
"I know them from before were working for they started working for the other guys."
"Who were working for before?"
"They were solo robin hoods for a while."
New York City
Dom pulls up to the warehouse in his dodge charger. He's been in New York the past few days looking into leads on where and when Cipher was planning her next hit. He realizes he forgot to call Letty once he got settled in. He called her when he landed but he's been so enthraled on finding out where Cipher is, he hasn't called his wife back in two days. He gets out the car and pulls out his phone to call her. he dials her number and thankfully she answers.
"Dom."
"Hey sorry I haven't called to check in."
"No it's okay, I wasn't worried."
"How's Camilla?"
"She's doing good."
"What's that sound in the back?"
"That's a boat."
"Where are you the docks?"
"Actually..." A purple porshe pulls into the warehouse and Dom turns to see it. He surprised to see it cause he hasn't seen the car years. The porshe parks next to Dom's charger and the door opens and he's surprised to see his wife step out the driver's seat. "I'm not in the DR."
"What are you doing here? Where's Camilla?"
"She's back home, DSS is looking after her. Cipher had her boys sent over to the house and we took the route out the garage."
"Letty you shouldn't be here right now."
"Dom I know I shouldn't be here but I have to. You're not the only person who can protect this family. We don't run from the danger and we didn't let it scare us. I'll never forgive myself if I didn't do what I could to protect my children."
"It's too dangerous for the three of you."
"You know nothing is too much for me to handle. Whatever I do is gonna be behind the wheel or with a gun in my hand. I'll be careful."
"Okay. I know I sure as hell can't stop from doing what you're gonna do."
"Damn straight you won't."
He pulls her in for a hug and kisses the top of her head. She rests her head on his chest and wraps her arms around him. "Was she mad when you left?" He asks.
"Suprisingly no. She wondered why I didn't go with you in the first place?" She says as she looks up at him.
"Thinks just like her mom."
"She called the badass in the family too."
"She did."
"Mmhm an she's hoping for some little brothers with these two." She says looking down at her stomach.
"We are in for some trouble if we got two of me running around here." He says and they both laugh. "You ready to get to work?"
"Let's go."
