People, and other lovers of Anne!

I think at this point I would fall under the title of 'periodically updates'- a far cry from a chapter every second day like I did in the beginning! All I can say is that life can change a lot. I never imagined that I would be telling stories over such a long time period, and I do apologise- but I'm not going anywhere just yet- I just upload slowly! I have a rather insistant Real Life, however creativity is necessary for life, I think- so I am continuing to try and make time in everyday life for my writing.

I discovered this wonderful site in January 2016, and it's entirely possible my house hasn't been cleaned since then. (Still. I know.)

I have long wanted to write, and have worked on my own projects for a few years ago now; however, in the middle of the Rejection Slip blues (real rejection slips from publishers that made me howl...), I decided to do something fun. The first chapter I ever published was Golden Day's 'Shadows'. I honestly expected the bad writing police to come to my house as soon as I had posted it, (at 2 in the morning) however they appeared to let it slide. I've had such fun with this, and am beyond thrilled that people have read what I have written.

I do love receiving feedback, be they reviews or PM's. It helps a lot to know what works for people, and where the holes are in stories that I haven't seen yet! For all those who have followed or favourited, I am chuffed at every single one.

Thank you to all those who are writing stories on here, you are a wonderfully creative bunch who inspire me. All credit goes to LMM, who wrote such beautiful characters; I have loved playing 'let's pretend' with them, but they belong to her. I grew up with Anne, as you might imagine, something my daughter shows every sign of continuing.

Thank you all for reading and reviewing, you've are champions who have pushed me to do better at this writing business. I am more grateful than you can know.
