It couldn't be true. Robin would never be found next to a burning building, lying broken on the ground with no clue as to where his mentor is, right? The Dynamic Duo was never truly in danger when on the field, right? Wrong. And it was as Robin lay broken on the ground that he remembered what happened. Two words. Joker and explosions.

Robin has been Slade's apprentice for over a year. The Titans have lost hope in his return and want to stop him. But the problem is, two masterminds against the Titans and the Justice League will now be as simple as it seems. Especially when there is no trace of the hero-turned villain. And Slade and Robin know just what to do to annihilate their enemies.

Two years ago, Robin left the Teen Titans and became Nightwing, Blüdhaven's hero. One year ago, Nightwing offered his services during a League mission. He now helps the League on occasion. Anything he once felt for the Titans was gone.
