Guess who's back, back again. Out of both my stories this is the one I wanted to finish the most so… here we are! Don't expect regular updates though, I will do my best.

Well, I can't say I expected for Shoyo to pass the exams this time but… I had certainly hoped he would do better.

Spoiler alert, he didn't.

In fact, he did worse.

How? I have no fucking clue. It's a talent at this point.

"Shoyo…" I sighed in disappointment.

Shoyo sat in front of me, pouting without any sort of shame. "I'm sorry…"

"You'll have to take remedial classes." I said plainly. "Before you can go to the camp."

It looked like I had shattered all of Shoyo's dreams with that simple sentence but it was all his own fault. Even if Shoyo had been born with a lower IQ than most, he never did anything to catch up on his knowledge until it was too late. I probably could've helped him out, but I wouldn't always be there with a helping hand. I planned to study away from home, then he'd have to do it all by himself anyway.

"Noooo!" Shoyo yelled in despair.

"You know I can't help you with this." I pulled a hand through my hair. "You might be able to take the train or something to get to Tokyo."

"I don't wanna leave the team behind!"

I pointedly did not say how the team were the ones leaving him behind, let the boy have his hopes.

"I'm pretty sure Kageyama also failed some of his tests." I tried to encourage him. "So you won't be alone at least."

"K-Kageyama!" Shoyo turned beet red at the mention of his crush.

Unlike me, Shoyo had gained the useless gay genes. Something that disabled him from ever telling his crushes how he felt without severely dancing around the subject first. I didn't expect the two of them to get together before I graduated. Not without forcing either Shoyo or Kageyama to confess.

And because I'm an asshole I sure as hell would let them figure it all out by themselves and document the entire journey to laugh about later.

You know, as siblings do.

"You'll be fine." I waved him off. "Now, if you don't mind, I need to prepare for a very fun summer camp."

I neatly dodged Shoyo's attempt at tackling me, cackling happily all the time.

"I might be able to leave sometime through but I'm honestly not entirely sure about the schedule yet." Take a wild guess as to who I'm calling. "If not, there should still be enough time to have a date or two when I get back."

I heard Hajime sigh on the other side of the line. "Yeah, it's fine. I'm pretty sure Seijoh's planning a training camp or something similar as well. Though I likely won't know until Oikawa's bursting in my room to drag me out."

I snorted. "Sounds fun!"

"Immensely." Was Hajime's dry reply, though I could hear the smile in his voice. "How'd your tests go?"

"Pretty well, I passed all of them. You?"

"Same here. You're arranging the next date, yeah?"

"Yep," I popped the p, "you're going to love it."

"If it's you then I'm sure I will."

Suddenly, talking became a whole lot more difficult. "How do you do that?"

"Do what?" I could hear his amusement, the prick.

"Know exactly what to say to make me melt!"

Hajime laughed over the phone, something that made my heart do little jumps of happiness. "It's payback for all the times you made me flustered."

Would you like one more sir?

"But Hajime~" I whined shamelessly. "You're so cute when you're blushing, makes you even prettier than usual!"

From the silence on the other side of the line I could tell that my little ploy worked.

"...I really hate you sometimes."

I grinned. "No you don't, you love me~"

"Yeah I do."

Are we having a competition as to who can make the other flustered more? Because that sure as hell feels like it.

I really liked talking with Hajime. He was just always so calm and gentle, with little bursts of not-really-anger to show his annoyance. Though most of that was reserved for Oikawa and I had mostly been saved. The only times that really happened was when I was really being a little shit.

"But to be honest, you're making me really curious as to what you're planning." Hajime confessed. "Really leaving me in suspense here."

If Hajime were there in person, I would've stuck my tongue out. You know, like an adult.

I didn't want him to get his hopes up too high. While I did have something cute planned, it wasn't anything grandiose. We weren't at that point of our relationship yet.

I hummed. "Well, there's one thing I do need to know. Do you have any allergies? Like, any at all?"

"Not as far as I know." Hajime didn't even sound suspicious, a nice change from the attitude Daichi gave me regularly.

Not without good reason of course, I did have my bad habits, but that didn't mean it wasn't nice to not have suspicion thrown on me just because I asked a question.

"Alright, then there shouldn't be any problems." There was this cute little cat cafe not far from where I lived.

The food was good and not too overpriced and the cats were all really friendly. It wasn't too busy either, people there minded their own business, cuddled with the cats and drank their coffee or studied. Really, the ideal place to have a nice date.

I did want it to be a bit of a surprise, so Hajime wouldn't know that until we got there. Probably sometime near the end of the vacation.

We were busy people with busy schedules.

"You're doing absolutely nothing to make me less curious." Hajime pointed out.

"I know!" I chirped happily. "But otherwise it wouldn't be a surprise."

Hajime laughed again. "Alright I'll trust you with this. Has anything else interesting happened recently?"

With that subject change I launched into a long and dramatic retelling of how the idiots on the team dealt with the upcoming exams. And of course how they failed miserably at their studying.

After I was done with my epic tale, Hajime launched into one of his own. One that was pretty similar though he also remarked how the third years had barged into his house to study, without giving him any say in the matter.

He was complaining, that's for sure, but I noticed the fond tone he used when describing how Oikawa had ended up chasing Hanamaki around for a bite of milk bread.

Mood.

As usual, the two of us ended up talking until late in the night. To the point that it was just plain unhealthy considering how early I had to wake up to leave for Tokyo. Without Shoyo.

How tragic.

"Nishinoya if you ask 'are we there yet' one more time I am going to commit a homicide." I glared at my underclassmen, feeling far too exhausted to deal with the usual bullshit.

Maybe I shouldn't have been talking with Hajime until 2 in the morning but eh, worth it.

"Now you know what I deal with every day." Daichi gave me a meaningful look.

Probably trying to convey that he wanted me to tone down the bratiness I usually showed. Good luck with that.

"I already knew you had the willpower of a god." I grumbled out. "I don't, so either these guys will quiet the fuck down or I will commit several murders."

"You'd get caught." Suga commented dryly, not looking up from his phone. "And you love us too much."

"It's debatable."

"Sure, sure. Go to sleep." Daichi gave me such a condescending tone that I was tempted to join Noya in his chaos.

As it were though, I was far too tired for that so I leaned back in my seat and closed my eyes to take a little nap.

I'm not certain as to how long I slept, but Daichi shook me awake when we got there. Tokyo. Fantastic.

I yawned as we all departed the bus, not caring about my appearance for once.

The extended amount of time I'd spent in Tokyo, away from home, meant that I didn't have the opportunity to truly express myself other than the times I felt masculine.

Unfortunately, that isn't something I can control. So either I'd have a good time or suffer.

Fun!

I ignored it when Tanaka and Noya made fools of themselves and walked with Daichi and Kuroo to where we'd be sleeping, only half paying attention to the conversation.

"Say, where's your little jumper? And your setter?" Kuroo asked.

I admit, I started laughing maniacally.

Daichi glared at me before sighing and explaining. "They failed their midterms and have to take remedial classes before they can come here."

Kuroo joined me in my laughter.

"You're both insufferable." Daichi commented and kept walking.

"Thanks!" I called after him, calming myself down.

Daichi left us alone.

"Should you really be laughing, the little one's your little brother isn't he?" Kuroo asked.

"I'm guessing you don't have any siblings."

"I don't."

"Then I guess you'll never understand our relationship." I shrugged. "I love and adore my little brother, but his idiocy is for me to laugh about."

"That makes sense." Kuroo hummed. "I don't think we ever got properly introduced, Kuroo Tetsurou, pleasure."

"Hinata Ren. Let's have fun." We shook hands and kept walking towards the gym.

Daichi would regret the day he let me befriend Kuroo Tetsurou.

"Suga, am I being a self absorbed twat or is Kuroo actually flirting with me?" I asked about two weeks into the training camp.

For the last two weeks, Kuroo had gone out of his way to spend time with me and, while he was pleasant company, I just did not see him that way.

Not when I had Hajime.

"He might be." Suga hummed to himself. "Have you asked him?"

"Hmmm, I should probably do that and clear things up." I stood up from my spot on the gym floor. "Thanks Suga! I don't suppose you know where he is?"

"Probably playing with Tsukishima and Shoyo in gym 3."

"Alrighty! Be right back."

I tracked over to gym three, where my cute little brother was playing with the giants. "Hello, hello!"

"Ren!" Shoyo greeted me happily.

"Hinata-san." In contrast, Tsukishima was a bit more polite.

"Hey, hey, hey!"

"Can I steal Kuroo for a moment?" I asked, not waiting for an answer and grabbing Kuroo's arm to drag him out.

"You don't have to bring him back!" Tsukishima called after me.

"Wai- Tsukki you brat!" Kuroo called right back.

I just waved and led Kuroo little ways from the gym.

"So… what did you need from me?" Kuroo asked, sounding slightly nervous.

I decided to just get straight to the point. "Have you been flirting with me?"

"I mean… maybe? Depends, were you into it?"

"No, I have a boyfriend." I plainly said. "No offense."

"None taken, though I am a bit disappointed." Kuroo confessed. "I don't encounter other gays very often, so I kinda just take every chance I get."

"Fair." I tried to hide my laughter. "Are you really that desperate? It'd be a long distance relationship."

"Hinata, I really, really, don't care."

Wait a minute… I just had an idea. One that will either get me punched or hugged. Not sure yet.

"I might be unavailable." I started slowly. "But I do know a guy that's looking for someone as well, from Miyagi though."

Kuroo grabbed me by the shoulders. "Like I said, I don't care. Who is it?"

"Ever heard of Oikawa Tooru?"

Kuroo raised an eyebrow. "The guy you guys lost to?"

"Ouch, but yes. I'm dating his best friend and as such am privy to some more info. Namely that he's fairly certain he's gay." I explained further. "I'll probably have to pry his number from Hajime's hands though."

"Then just tell him why, he might support it." Kuroo leaned on my shoulder as I grabbed my phone.

"Fair."

RenBitch: Hajime, I need a favor

Iwazilla: Oh god

RenBitch: I need Oikawa's number

Iwazilla: I'm not letting you kill him, that's my job

RenBitch: Nothing like that!

RenBitch: There's this guy I want to set him up with

Iwazilla: ….what

RenBitch: Literally, that's it

Iwazilla: ...I need a pic

"Hey, pose!" I called for Kuroo who flashed a peace sign as I took a pic.

RenBitch: It's not high quality but it's this guy

Iwazilla: …Acceptable, have fun

Did I just become a matchmaker?
