![]() Author has written 5 stories for Final Fantasy VII, Naruto, Clannad, and Strike Witches. Hello, everyone. Seeing you've come this far, I suppose I owe you a short introduction. I've been in the world of fanfics since I was thirteen, Chrono Trigger being the first game I fell in love with so badly that I craved for more of it, no matter the source. With the aid of the internet, I found my way to a fanfic site known as IcyBrian's RPG page - some of you might remember the name, too. After I had read through the fanfics the site had to offer, I promptly stumbled upon fanfiction.net, and I've been here ever since. My love for fanfics continued with the fandoms of the old super nintendo RPGs; Seiken Densetsu, early Final Fantasies, and so on, eventually moving to Playstation and computer, enjoying the great games and stories those platforms had to offer. I didn't really acknowledge the existence of anime before I was sixteen or seventeen, and I've missed the popularity peak of many great series because of it. I've been trying to catch up for these past few years, but with my studies and daily life, I can't keep up as good pace as I used to. I have my likes and dislikes, but I still try to keep my mind as open as possible and read many different genres of fanfics and literature alike. In the hands of a skilled author, anything can be well written and enjoyable. Lately, I've fallen in love with Clannad - the visual novel was simply magnificent, and the anime adaptation was masterfully done as well. I was so deeply moved that I decided to write a fanfic befitting in both theme and quality about it, putting a halt to all of my other projects (not that there were that many, though). Thus was born a story I named Vive, Vale, Gaude, and it's proving to be the longest and also the most rewarding thing I've ever written. Update: 10/30/2011 I wrote almost a year ago an update on my status, in which I pin-pointed the cause for the excessive pause between my updates to be my university studies. Well, seeing that I still have several years to go here in the academic world, very little has changed: dedicating some time only for writing has been unimaginably hard for the past few months. There is light at the end of the tunnel, though: I am currently working on the academic presentation of my Bachelor's Degree, and as soon as I am finished with that (which will be in two weeks' time, thanks to deadlines), I can finally find some time to write again. So, once again, I apologize for the agonizingly long delay, and assure you: Vive, Vale, Gaude is still under (more or less) active work and will be finished, hopefully as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. |
