Hello, everyone. I'm Pumpkinmoose22. I've always had a love for reading and, when I got older, writing. When I discovered fanfiction, I felt an itching to add my creativity to the voices of those who have already shared adventures concerning their favorite characters. My first fanfiction was for Harry Potter (not located on this site) and then I deepened my love for comic book heroes, writing about them for a while. Merlin was always a show I enjoyed when younger and decided to tempt my muse until I couldn't ignore it anymore (hence why I've written so many Merlin fanfictions). Superman is my favorite DC hero, Thor my favorite from Marvel, and King Arthur has my heart from Merlin though Merlin himself is near and dear to me too. I focus on traditional pairings since I love them and I DO NOT write slash. It's just not my thing.

If one of my stories hasn't been updated for a long time, it's either because real life got in the way or my muse refuses to work with me concerning it. Instead of fighting that and trying to give you a mediocre chapter/story, I've decided to follow whatever I feel inspired to write with the sincerest of hopes that I will return to what isn't complete one day. I ask for your patience concerning anything I've written that isn't complete. I'm going to try to use my profile as a status for what isn't finished yet for those who are curious.

I'm sort of back with writing fanfiction. I say sort of because I'm going back and working on an unfinished story. My hope is to edit the thing and finally complete it after years of it just sitting there. It will take a while but there are smaller plot bunnies that keep jumping around and getting in the way. As they come, I'll try to post them so you've got something to enjoy while waiting for the new and improved version of The Measure of Two Hearts. That's right, my focus has switched to my Superman stories (sorry Merlin fans; blame my muse) so you'll probably see more of those kinds of stories from me for a little while. Captive: (Merlin) This story was never meant to be very long. Honestly, I think I originally planned one or two additional chapters before considering it complete. While the ending is in my head, at this time there isn't a real drive to come back to it. I think that'll change one day.

The Measure of Two Hearts: (Superman) The ending is in my head but a few critical pieces need to be put together before I can give it the finish I think it deserves. It hasn't been touched in four years but I haven't given up on it.

The Ties of Fate: (Superman) Honestly, I don't think I'll ever finish this one. I'm contemplating pulling it down. For now, it's still up.

Perspective: (Merlin) While I have a few more chapters for this already written, my muse is losing interest in this. I have been trying to keep that going but this story might end up on hiatus. I'm sorry in advance to all who are following it if that turns out to be the case. I want to give this story my best and if that means I have to put it on hold for a while then that's what I'll do.

For other works I've already completed, some people have begged for sequels but at this point I don't have any desire to continue those stories. If that changes, I'll let you know. Concerning the promised sequel for The Sorcerer's Stone (Merlin), that is also on hold; it's in my head but I haven't had the desire to work on it.
