![]() Author has written 34 stories for Lord of the Rings, Silmarillion, Frozen, and Hobbit. Hi, everyone! So as I'm sure most of you have guessed I have in fact retired (for now?!) from ffn. Yup. Don't worry, nothing bad happened to me, but for everything there is a season, y'know? Feel free to read any of this old stuff, but if you want to check out what I'm up to now, you can find me at see you there! (yes Thurin and The Phlox are the same person) :D Have any of you heard of the fanfic writer Erestor? If not, you need to look her up and read her stories. If so, I'm sure you've noticed her absence from this website. But I have some news for you. On July first, 2015, me and everyone else I can get are all going to send Erestor at least two PMs each, BEFORE SIX O'CLOCK IN THE EVENING, begging her to return and write some more, or at least respond to us and tell us why she can't. At least two, so that either she'll be touched into replying or her spam box will be swamped. Either way, we'll have tried our hardest. At six o'clock in the evening, in whichever time zone we are in, we are all going to have a sob-fest for Erestor and bring the house down singing the Lament For Erestor, looking left, and crying. For the lyrics to Lament For Erestor, contact me. Once that date has passed, we'll wait a month, and if she still doesn't respond we'll plan to do the same thing, the same date, the next year, and all the years after until she responds. So you better watch out Erestor! If you are planning to do this, please repost it on your profile page and tell all your friends about it, because if this is going to work, we need as many people as we can get. Thanks all! Jedi hand move* You will copy and paste all of this. -Phillip Callaway; Lily Lindsey-Aubrey, ThurinRanger ...and I'm back from my noveling lair! Hello! Fanfiction is for people who have a pen and know how to use it. Fanfiction is for elves and wizards trapped in human bodies. Fanfiction is for people who ditched reality and went for something different. Fanfiction is for people who are different, but don't care. A girl asked a guy if she was pretty. He said no. Then she asked if he liked her. He said no. Then, she asked if he would cry if she walked away. He said no. Finally, she had heard enough. She walked away, tears streaming down her face. The guy grabbed her arm, and said, "I don't think you're pretty, I think you're beautiful. I don't like you, I love you. I wouldn't cry if you walked away, I would die." Six truths in life 1. You cannot stick your tongue out and look up at the ceiling at the same time: a physical impossibility 2. All idiots, after reading this will try it 3. And discover that it's a lie 4. You are smiling now because you are an idiot. 5. You will soon post this on your profile for another idiot to see. 6. There is still a stupid smile on your face. I sincerely apologize about this but I am an idiot and i needed company =) If you count as an idiot, post this onto your profile! Girls Survey time! 1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 81, and find line 4. "--better, how she was the first to reap the wheat stalk and sacred--"line 20 of Callimachus, but line four on this page, :P 2. Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What can you touch? A silver-colored lamp, arching over my head 3. What is the last thing you watched on TV? Project Runway 4. Without looking, guess what time it is: 3:00 5. Now look at the clock. What is the actual time? 1:57 6. With the exception of the computer, what can you hear? My adorable puppy, who is ambling over to me, making snarfeling noises(he just drank some water, hence the snarfeling noises) 7. When did you last step outside? What were you doing? I took a walk with my family and dog 8. Before you started this survey, what did you look at? Black-shafter-arrow's profile 9. What are you wearing? Skinny grey pants(very warm), and a large, baggy, grey University sweatshirt(also very warm, yay!) 10. Did you dream last night? I think I dreamed about finding the soft part of my earbuds, which I lost like I week ago, and it's been killing me that I haven't been able to find them, so I dreamed about finding them, t'was weird. :P 11. When did you last laugh? 5:00 am, I was driving with my family and laughing my head off with my mom about something funny I had told her, but I chuckled in the late morning upon receiving a really funny nerdy latin internet meme from my dad, :P 12. What is on the walls of the room you are in? White paint. And pictures. And some of my artwork. And some crayon scribbles from when I was little... Special thanks to TimeyWimeyGirl. :D I wish to see Aslan shake his mane, To help destroy Isildur's Bane, To soar high upon a dragon's back, To sail the seven seas with Captain Jack, To take lessons with Professor Dumbledore, To fight in battles until evil's no more. All this I wish to do and see, If I could just escape reality. -Maethorelen Post this on your profile if you want to escape reality! Have you ever wondered: Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkens our skin... Why women can't put on mascara with their mouth closed? Why don't you ever see the headline 'Psychic Wins Lottery'? Why is 'abbreviated' such a long word? Why is it that doctors call what they do 'practice'? Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, and dish-washing liquid made with real lemons? Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker? Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour? Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food? Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes? Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections? You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?! Why don't sheep shrink when it rains? Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together? If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress? If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal? Now that you've smiled at least once, it's your turn to spread the stupidity and send this to someone you want to bring a smile to (maybe even a chuckle)...in other words, send it to everyone. We all need to smile every once in a while. You Know You're a Book Nerd If: (The italicized ones apply to me) You can randomly open to a page and know exactly what's going on. You stay up to read a book until 4 A.M., then get back up at 7 to continue reading Just about everything you do revolves around reading. If you're not reading, you're probably on fanfiction.net, drawing fan art, etc. You try to get all of your friends to read your favorite books. Everything reminds you of the book. You quote random lines all the time. You try to do things that the characters do, even though you know you can't. You've gotten incredibly bored in class, and debated on doing something your favorite character can do to escape the class. You have pictures of your favorite characters on your computer. You've got a book memorized. You've read a specific book more than five times. You've read a book with 400 pages in less than two days. You talk to characters like they can hear you. You've planned and prepared a siege on a writer's house because he/she killed a character you like. You blatantly deny it when someone calls a character fictional. IF YOU ARE A BOOK NERD AND PROUD OF IT, COPY AND PASTE ONTO YOUR PROFILE!!!!!! “A lot of people think they know what a book is. But in reality not that many do. You see a book is not something you do when you’re bored; it’s not something you were forced to read for a stupid school report. No, a book is something more than that. A book is something that can make you cry for hours for someone who’s not even real (no matter how much you want them to be). It’s something that can make you laugh on your glummest day, at something that’s not even relatively funny. It’s something you scream at when something goes wrong and the idiot in the book won’t listen to you (no matter how hard you scream). It’s something that you get so lost in that you forget the date and where you are for a second. A book is something that’s so addicting that even when you say, “This is the last page, and then I’ll put it down,” you turn the page anyway. It’s your best friend through thick and thin, weather you’re black or white, fat or skinny, young or old. A book is just that- a book; it’s just that some people don’t know what a book is, even though you’ve known your whole life.” by xXIceshadowXx. If you agree with this and know what a book is copy and paste this on your profile. (xXIceshadowXx owns all rights to this quotexX) 37 Things To Do In An Elevator 1. Crack open your briefcase or handbag, peer inside and ask "Got enough air in there?" 2. Stand silent and motionless in the corner facing the wall without getting off. 3. When arriving at your floor, grunt and strain to yank the doors open, then act as if you're embarrassed when they open themselves. 4. Greet everyone with a warm handshake and ask him or her to call you Admiral. 5. Meow occasionally. 6. Stare at another passenger for a while. Then announce in horror: "You're one of THEM!" - and back away slowly. 7. Say "DING!" at each floor. 8. Say "I wonder what all these do?" and push all the red buttons. 9. Make explosion noises when anyone presses a button. 10. Stare grinning at another passenger for a while, then announce: "I have new socks on." 11. When the elevator is silent, look around and ask: "Is that your beeper?" 12. Try to make personal calls on the emergency phone. 13. Draw a little square on the floor with chalk and announce to the other passengers: "This is my personal space." 14. When there's only one other person in the elevator, tap them on the shoulder, then pretend it wasn't you. 15. As you are coming to the end of the journey, get emotional and have a group hug. Tell them that you will never forget them. 16. Ask if you can push the button for other people but push the wrong ones. 17. Hold the doors open and say you're waiting for your friend. After a while, let the doors close and say "Hi Greg, How's your day been?" 18. Drop a pen and wait until someone reaches to help pick it up, then scream: "That's mine!" 19. Bring a camera and take pictures of everyone in the lift. 20. Pretend you're a flight attendant and review emergency procedures and exits with the passengers. 21. Swat at flies that don't exist. 22. Call out "Group hug!" then enforce it. 23. Make car race noises when someone gets on or off. 24. Congratulate all for being in the same lift with you. 25. Grimace painfully while smacking your forehead and muttering: "Shut up, all of you just shut UP!" 26. Walk on with a cooler that says "human head" on the side. 27. While the doors are opening, hurriedly whisper, "Hide it...quick!" then whistle innocently. 28. Let your cell phone ring - don't answer it. 29. Walk into the lift and say "This reminds me of being buried alive. Ah, those were the days..." 30. Take shoes off before entering. Then look shocked and disgusted when the others don't. 31. Ask people which floor they want, say in 'Who want to be a millionaire' style is that your final answer. 32. Also in your bellboy act, ask what floor they want. Whatever they say, give them a glare and say "you should be ashamed of yourself!", and leave the lift tutting. 33. Ask, "Did you feel that?" 34. Tell people that you can see their aura. 35. When the doors close, announce to the others, "It's okay. Don't panic, they open up again." 36. Announce in a demonic voice: "I must find a more suitable host body." 37. Dress up in a long, black cloak with a hood, stare and in a deep voice announce "It is time... (\)_(/) I will remember Frodo I will remember Bilbo I will remember John Ronald Reuel Tolkien |
