![]() Author has written 3 stories for Attack on Titan/進撃の巨人, and Harry Potter. Hello, strangers! Thank you for checking my profile. I assume somehow I've managed to pick up your interest, which is great. Basically, I'm here because I think I've been writing fanfiction since I was a child, mostly in my mind or in the back of my notebook. My problem with writing stories is that I'd rather imagine it in my mind than actually put it into words. Even when I'm trying to put it into words, I'd end up spending too much time planning the plot and worldsbuilding than actually writing the story. I'm such a slow writer... About Me -A girl. I never wrote fanfiction before, and AoT: Left Behind is my first fanfiction I've ever posted. I'm an inexperienced writer and pretty much aware that my writing skill is completely lacking. My motivations in writing are to unleash this bizarre imagination inside my head, to improve my English, and mostly, to entertain myself. I have a dream to publish my own original fiction someday, but I'm afraid it will be the most dreadful rubbish of 21st century literature since my writing skill is nothing but a complete disaster. I will try to hone my prowess, and writing fanfictions is a part of my practice. It may take years, but even Paulo Coelho published his first novel in his late 30's, so, I'm not losing hope to make my dream comes true. Please feel free to send me a PM, if you want to chat with me about anime/manga/games/books, or just want to say hi. I love to make new friends :D My Favorite Anime/Manga: Tokyo Ghoul, Code Geass, Psycho Pass, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Gundam Wing, Gundam 00, Fullmetal Alchemist, Digimon Adventure, Claymore, Gakkou Gurashi!, Akatsuki no Yona, Dragon Ball, One Piece, Kuroshitsuji, Free!, Shakugan no Shana, Shokugeki no Soma, Doraemon, Pokemon, xxxHolic, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Death Note, Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, Shingeki no Kyojin, Air Gear, Cardcaptor Sakura. My current fandoms: Shingeki no Kyojin, Tokyo Ghoul, Psycho Pass, Shokugeki no Soma. Fandoms I never seem to leave for some stupid reasons: Gundam Wing, Code Geass, One Piece, Sherlock, Grey's Anatomy, House MD, A Song of Ice and Fire, Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Death Note, Ace Attorney. Fandoms I have left for some obvious reasons: Naruto, Hunger Games, Fairy Tail, Bleach. My top 10 male anime characters 1. Lelouch vi Britannia (Code Geass) My top 10 female anime characters 1. Sen Takatsuki/Eto (Tokyo Ghoul) (MY QUEEN!!!) My OTPs Actually, I'm very chill and laid back about pairings. I'm multiple shipper and I don't really have OTP I would defend until the end of the world. My favorite ships at the moment: TouKen and AyaHina from Tokyo Ghoul; LeviHan and EreMika from Shingeki no Kyojin; RyoAli from Shokugeki no Soma. I don't care if "it's just fiction!" or "it's not real!". Fictional characters are fictional, but the situation they go through and the experiences they have are relatable to the readers. In that sense, they exist in the real world because fiction is still based on the reality we know and understand. Just because a ship is fictional doesn't mean it can't hurt people. If it's not okay in real world, it's not okay in fictional world. Period. Here's an awesome post about how to appreciate fanfiction writers (icybluepenguin(dot)tumblr(dot)com/post/117267974687/how-to-praise-writers-and-influence-fics). A simple “This is great/funny/hot!” is wonderful. "Best fic I’ve read this week!“ "Funny as hell and cute too.” "You have to read this, it’s awesome!“ "I can’t wait for more of this.” "I hope you keep going!“ These are great in reblogs and in messages. Even better is specific feedback. We love specific feedback, because it tells us what readers liked and what they didn’t. Want to influence our next fic? Tell us what you liked about this one and I bet you it will keep showing up! Specific feedback is just telling the writer what you liked. It doesn’t have to be long or complicated, either. (But if you write a lot, we will love you so much.) Was there a character you liked? Talk about them: "I love how you wrote X” “Y was so funny!” "OMG I wanted to STRANGLE Q!“ "You can really feel X’s frustration.” "Y has so much depth, they’re a really well-rounded character.“ "R says so much with so few words, it’s amazing.” Be enthusiastic if that’s your style, go crazy with exclamation marks, smileys, caps! Tell a writer if you’re rereading their work, very little makes us happier than knowing our writing has the staying power for a second, third, sixth, tenth read. Did a reread give you a new insight or feeling about the fic? Tell us! We will be so excited to hear. And remember, recommendations are wonderful-putting up a random post tagging your favorite writers or fics you’re enjoying will show the writers that they’re writing is more than a flash in the opan and they’ll get some new readers too! We can’t do this writing thing without you guys. So thank you so much! Without readers, we’re just talking to ourselves. We love and appreciate you for reading, but we need to know you’re doing it. We need feedback like we need air. Don’t let your favorite writers suffocate! :) I'm trying to do so, because I have read mindblowingly wonderful fanfictions from amazingly talented writers that make me lost hope in published books, and the writers obviously need more love from the fandom. | |||||||
