Hello everyone! I'm sorry if y'all thought this was a real update but recently I received a review that reminded me I should probably address something.

In case you guys haven't noticed based on the new summary, this story is going to eventually get really sad and touch on some heavy stuff. If you guys were reading this on Archive of Our Own you'd have a bit of a warning because I'd tagged some of the things that are going to happen later. I realize that there's no such way to warn you here on FFN other than with an Author's Note as I'm doing now.

I know that some of you might have followed this story originally anticipating a fun slice-of-life type story based on my original summary. In the interest of making sure that everyone who's reading this isn't getting into something they didn't sign-up for I want to make sure that everyone realizes that isn't exactly what this story is. It's my fault for not coming up with a better, more accurate summary from the beginning of course so that's on me. I apologize.

I don't want to give away spoilers here because that would ruin the story for those who wish to continue so I'll just say this: Everyone knows that an anime protagonist is basically required to have an angsty and somewhat convoluted backstory. My Hero Academia is an anime. Kiyo is our protagonist. Be prepared for said backstory.

In all seriousness though, I honestly think (or I hope anyway) that you guys will enjoy the storyline in the long run (if I can pull it off). But having said this, please read the new summary. Please read the tags on AO3 (same story title and username). After doing this, if you feel that this story may not be something you'll enjoy for whatever reason, then no worries. Ultimately I want people to enjoy the experience of reading what I write. I don't want anyone to feel blindsided or misled and become distressed by what they're reading so please don't hesitate to unfollow this story if you feel like it. And I don't mean just now, I mean at any point in the story.
