Andy's Pov

I found the name of the prison they were keeping Lauren in, the cell block, everything. Everything I needed to know was recorded in this binder. I had everything I needed written down on a piece of paper I had torn from one of my sketchbooks. I quickly looked up the directions to the prison on the computer I was borrowing from Mia and wrote them down on the other side of the page.

I smiled, finally, I could get Lauren out of that prison. It took me almost a whole month to find her but I was going to get her out today. I smiled.

I quickly paged through the section that talked about where she was and the security of the area. There were a lot of guards, more than there normally would be, probably because they put Lauren there so they needed to have a guard near her at all times.

Maybe I should ask someone to come with me. No, if I asked anyone to come and they got hurt it would be my fault. I'd be fine by myself. Once I got Lauren we'd be fine anyway.

I paged through the binder one more time just to make sure I didn't miss anything. I was almost through the whole binder when a page fell out. I bent down to pick it up when I noticed this page looked different. It wasn't typed up like the others, this one was handwritten.

The handwriting was messy like whoever wrote it was in a hurry. I frowned but read it anyway. The further down the page I got the more my heart slowed. They had moved Lauren to a different part of the prison. The same day we had the dream.

The part of the prison they moved her to wasn't listed anywhere online, it wasn't on any blueprints, nothing. It was like it didn't exist.

I took a deep breath and stuffed the paper I had found along with my notes into my backpack and headed for the door. I'll find her. I have to. It will be fine, right?

Mia's Pov

Andy's been acting weird ever since he came back from wherever he went yesterday. He hasn't left his room all day.

I was walking down the hallway towards his room just to check on him and maybe see if he wanted to hang out. He probably wouldn't want to. He's barely even talked to me since Lauren got arrested. He's barely talked to anyone for that matter. I sighed, he probably would just tell me to go away. If he told me to go away, oh well, I walked all the way down here already. Might as well just knock.

I knocked on the door and just stood there for a second before Andy opened the door. He was smiling.

"Mia," he said, "What's up"

"What's got you in a good mood? I haven't seen you smile in a while," I said. "Did you find something about where Lauren is?"

"Yeah, I did," Andy said motioning for me to come in. He looked excised and had dark circles under his eyes.

I slowly walked into the room noting the clutter scattered everywhere. Andy was over at the desk and grabbed a binder. He handed it to me as I walked over and sat on the desk.

I slowly opened in to see just a bunch of conversations recorded.

"What is this?" I asked him as I slowly page through the binder skimming it.

"Recorded conversations of what the Sentinel Services was talking about the day that Lauren got arrested" he walked over to me and flipped to the back of the binder, "and this is the day me...uh, I passed out."

I nodded. "You found out where she was. Didn't you?"

Andy smiled and nodded.

"Okay, when are we going?" I said closing the binder.

"You're not coming with me." He said taking the binder back and putting back on his desk and hiding it under some papers.

"What? Of course, I am. I'm not letting you go alone. You're planning on attacking a highly secured prison. That's dangerous. You could die." I said standing up.

"That's exactly why you're not coming with me. If you come with me and get hurt." he said pausing, "I couldn't live with myself if that happened."

I sighed, I could handle myself, "Andy, I'll be fine."

"Just stop Mia. It's too dangerous," he said firmly.

I rolled my eyes, "I'm coming and you're not going to convince me otherwise."

"I said no!" he said harshly.

I felt an invisible force hit my stomach. I was knocked backward. I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head and the world went black.

Slowly I opened my eyes and looked around. I was still in Andy's room but Andy was gone. I groaned and pushed myself off the floor. God, he's such an idiot sometimes. I stood up but kept my hand on the wall, I was a little dizzy. Probably from hitting my head.

I looked over to the desk and the binder was still there so I grabbed it and flipped through it to find the prison where Lauren was being kept. There was no way that I was letting him go alone. He would get himself and Lauren killed.

I smiled as I found a prison name circled on one of the pages. I took the binder with me as I went to grab my bow and follow Andy, hopefully, I hadn't been out too long and I wouldn't be too far behind him.

Andy's Pov

I didn't mean to hurt Mia. It just happened. It was an accident.

"I said no!" I said. She couldn't come with me. I felt my powers push their way out of me roughly and I quickly looked up to see Mia get pushed backward. I instantly went to where she had landed.

She was unconscious. I think she hit her head against the wall. I checked to make sure she wasn't bleeding. She wasn't

"Dammit," I whispered. I pressed my lips together. I didn't mean to hurt her.

"I'm sorry," I said quietly. I stood up with a slight heaviness in my chest.

I quickly grabbed all the stuff I would need to break Lauren out of prison. I looked back at Mia, still unconscious on the floor before I left. I swallowed pushing down my emotions. I couldn't get distracted. Not today.

I quickly walked through the compound, avoiding people as I walked by until I got to the door. I looked back one more time. I probably wasn't coming back.

I took a deep breath and left. I got in one of the cars the underground had and pulled out onto the road. I was fairly certain I knew where I was going. I had stared at the computer screen all night studying the maps. Who knew those stupid study skills Lauren made me learn would come in handy.

I smiled. I was finally going to get Lauren out of there. Nothing could stop me now.

Lauren's Pov

Everything felt stiff. I was pretty sure I was still strapped to the table based on the straps biting into my wrists. Breathing was hard. I groaned a bit as I started to wake up more.

"Oh good, you're awake." A voice said.

I opened my eyes to see Aiden standing over me. I closed my eyes. I had been half wishing that the last time I had been awake was a dream.

I took a shaky breath and opened my eyes again focusing on Aiden, "What are you doing to me?"

"Well right now nothing. I'm just looking at blood samples," he said sitting just out of my line of sight.

"Then why am I awake? You can sedate me, why don't you?" I asked. I just wanted to go home, wherever that was. If he was going to experiment on me I didn't want to be awake for it.

"I'm bored. The guards don't talk, you do," he said simply.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, maybe if I didn't say anything he would just sedate me again.

"I probably shouldn't have told you that. Now you're not going to talk, are you?"

I just kept my eyes closed ignoring him. I tried to think of being anywhere but here. I thought of the last day before I got arrested. Andy was driving and we were listening to the radio in a car that we had stolen after ditching the last car we stole about an hour out of New Orleans. I was singing along to a Taylor Swift song and Andy was making fun of me the whole time. The entire drive up to Tennessee that's what we did, made fun of each other's taste in music and sometimes argued about where we were going. Andy got lost when driving a lot.

Aiden kept talking but I was blocking him out, just thinking of happy memories, pretending that I was anywhere but here. I didn't care what he had to say.

The door opened and I quickly opened my eyes trying to see who was coming but I couldn't quite see the door.

"Aiden Cambell?" a familiar female voice out of my line of sight said.

"Yes," Aiden said standing up and moving into the area I could see.

"My name is Carla Jackson," she said, stepping into my line of sight, "And you do not have any legal ground to perform your experiments. I will be taking the prisoner and moving her to a more secure location."

I was being moved? Maybe they would just leave me alone then.

"What no." Aiden said quickly, interrupting my thoughts, "I am allowed to do this. Agent Turner said-"

"Agent Turner was out of line. He had no legal grounds to allow you to perform these experiments." Carla said. She said experiments like it was the most horrific thing in the world. For that I was grateful.

"Wait no stop, you can't do this. I'm so close," he said.

Carla paused, "Close to what, may I ask?"

"Finishing my Dad's research. The most recent part of it was learning how to combine mutant abilities. It was heavily based on what she and her brother can do." Aiden said, sounding desperate.

"Well you will have to find another way to finish your research project," she said walking closer to the table I was strapped to.

"No, please, I'm so close, If I just had a sample of her bone marrow I could-" Aiden started before being cut off.

"Mr. Campbell that is enough," Carla said firmly. Almost as soon as she finished her sentence an explosion sounded rocking the whole room. Everybody grabbed onto whatever was closest to them as the shaking stopped.

Around me chaos started as people started scrambling around, trying to figure out what just happened. I just closed my eyes and smiled. Andy had found me. I just needed to wait a couple more minutes.

*I am so sorry this is so late. I was on vacation and completely forgot that I had to post. I don't know if I will be able to post a new story part on Thursday. The next part isn't quite finished yet. I'm hoping I can finish it in time but If there is no part posted Thursday there definitely will be one next Thursday. Again so sorry I didn't post on time but I hope you enjoy this chapter.*
