To whoever was waiting for this update, I am extremely sorry. I just had a really bad year so couldn't get to update any of my stories. But here is the update, a year later than promised. But I apologize for the delay. I will try my best to be consistent from now on.

"What's for breakfast?" Harry plopped down on his favorite chair and asked Bella.

"Goodmorning grandson. Where's my dearest husband?"

"Behind you, my lovely wife." Tom surprised his wife with a kiss on his cheek.

"Ew. Gross. No PDA at the table please." Harry covered his eyes playfully.

Bella reached over and smacked Harry on the head. "Shush."

Harry stuck his tongue out and started grabbing whatever food he could find.

"Hungry much?" Dudley smirked.

"Very!" Harry exclaimed between bites.

"Harry don't talk while eating. That's bad manners." Bella and Petunia exclaimed at the same time.

"Sorry guys." he managed to look somewhat contrite so the two women went back to their food.

"So where were you both gone since 7?"

"You woke up at 7? Wow." Dudley was very astonished.

"Not everybody sleeps till 12 like you Dud. Although it is good that you woke up at 11 today. Slow and steady huh?" Harry laughed.

"Oh shut up. And I did not wake up at 11, mom forced me to." Dudley stuck out his tongue at him.

"Well, you still woke up early. So we'll count that as a win." Harry and Petunia both high-fived with a smirk.

"I hate you both."

"Stop grumbling grandson. It does not befit a pureblood." Tom replied making Harry groan. "Hey, groan all you want, you're a pureblood now and you have to act befitting your status from now on. Atleast in front of the death eaters. The light side needs to wait before you come out of the shadows."

"Yes. They need to be kept unaware of my changing sides and figuring out the truth. Otherwise Dumbledore would kill me sooner than I could say Slytherin."

"Yes. Best avoid dying at any cost dear nephew."

"You know, you still haven't answered my question."

"Yes. Sorry Dudley, we got a bit sidetracked. We went to retrieve a horcrux."

"Any complications?" Bella inquired.

"Nope. Everything went smoothly. I think we should go and retrieve another one today itself grandfather."

"Hmm. Yes, you are correct. We will go retrieve the locket today and then we will be left with just the diadem. We would have to plan a little bit to get that one out."

"Yes. I have an idea, we'll discuss it tomorrow. We also have to meet with Sirius's mind healer today."

"Yes, I remember. Bella do you think Narcissa wants to come and check on Sirius as well? They are cousins after all."

"Oh yes. She was worried and was enquiring about him. They grew up quite close. She was most anxious when he suddenly changed sides mid-war."

"But wasn't he a Gyffindor?"

"No. He was in Gryffindor but only because of James. He was on the dark side although he hid it from everyone. About the time your parents were to go into hiding, he suddenly changed his allegiances, nobody knew why. We suspect potions but none of us could ever get close enough to pick him up and get him checked, although Lily and James wanted to bring Sirius with them to our side, they were killed before that could happen."

"Yes. You also died, and Sirius ended up in Azkaban since Dumbledore did not have further use of him."

"Precisely. But don't worry. Now we can remove the compulsions and we will have your real godfather back in no time, don't you worry."

"I'm not worried. Your elves look like they know what they are doing. Are they trained? I noticed they have much better language skills than other elves."

"Yes." Here Tom looked very proud indeed. "I made sure they were trained by the experts in the fields the elves are in. Almost all of them are death eaters so I could manage to get it done."

"So you don't believe in all that blood purity crap?"

"Oh no. I don't. I am trying very hard to change my death eater's minds too, but it would take a long time, they are habituated. But that's my number one priority once we defeat the light."

"Yes that is a great goal to have."

"Are you finished? We need to leave if we are to come back in time to see Sirius's mind healer."

"Yes. Let's go. Bye everyone, see you in A bit." Both of them waved to everyone and left to go to their next location.
