19. The real locket

Kreacher was starting to look more afraid by the second and had started muttering something very fast under his breath.

Harry put his hand on Bella's shoulder and motioned for her to back away and crouched down in her place.

"Kreacher, if you wish I can have another elf here to help you calm down."

"Kreacher doesn't want an elf. Master Regulus told Kreacher to destroy the locket. Oh yes. Kreacher won't give it to you. No he won't."

"Kreacher, Regulus was under mind control spells by Dumbledore, that's why he stole that locket. Do you wish to get his revenge from Dumbledore?"

"Drugging Master Regulus? Oh no, Kreacher will kill that man. Poor mistress. Master Regulus was a fine pureblood. He loved Kreavher. Take the locket filthy halfblood. But Kreacher will have his revenge on the old man." Kreacher sneered, but handed off the locket to Harry.

As soon as he lifted the locket off him, Kreacher's persona changed. He looked confused.

"Whoa! This is some negative stuff grandfather."

"Yes, it has my soul in it. It is supposed to cause this effect to the wearer so that it is not destroyed. Sirius, your elf will need some help from a healer as he has been wearing it for so long."

"We'll send him upstairs to the infirmary. Nippy." A pop signaled the elf's arrival. "Please look after this elf Nippy. He has been in contact with severe dark magic."

"Yes master." Nippy clicked his fingers and both of them dissapeared.

"well, now we have all the horcruxes. What do you plan on doing with them?"

"Put them in a safe."

"You know, I think you should transfer them to some unbreakable objects and then bury them in the ground."

"Well, not sure about the burying them in the ground part, but I'll definitely transfer them to unbreakable balls."

"Let's deal with Sluggy now."

"Yes, Sluggy and then Snape."
