Tumbling on the ground, Harry felt sharp pains in his body. He quickly got up, wand in hand, and his eyes met his target. His adrenaline still pumping, he struck an expelliarmus spell quickly only resulting in another priori incantatem.

Being too focused on not dying and defeating Voldemort, Harry wasn't able to hear the spell being struck. Only he was confused when both his and Voldemort's spells broke. A deafening silence laid between everyone in the great hall before a disco ball came from nowhere. Everyone was looking around confused. Harry raised an eyebrow and Voldemort was the first to hear the music.

The sound of late 60's music was booming throughout the great hall. Harry (and mostly everyone else) stood there frozen at the sight of Voldemort's snake featured body... dancing. The disco ball continued to spin, the music growing louder, and Voldemort finished doing the hustle. He stopped only to turn towards Harry, with a determined glare he spoke. "Come on Potter! Bet you can't dance to save your life! Dance off, now!" He then went and did a dance move that most didn't recognize. Who would have thought that the Dark Lord knew muggle dances?

Harry continued to stare, jaw dropped and confused. Looking around, he noticed that everyone currently in the great hall had stopped and stared. Harry sighed looking down for a moment to see his clothes almost ripped, dirt on his hands. He ran a few fingers through his hair, pushing it back. He then complied and started to awkwardly do the funky chicken. He really just wanted to get this over with and was hoping that Hermione had taken care of Nagini by now.

Meanwhile, Luna ran to Neville outside the entrance hall stating that she bought Harry some time with a spell she created. Neville nodded and gripped Gryffindor's sword tighter, taking a breath he ran forward. Spotting Ron and a snake slithering after him, he took his chance. Running, Neville took a big strike. To him it felt as if time had slowed down, the snakes' head fell to the ground, blood lightly splattered in front of him. Luna, Hermione, Ron, and Neville released a relieved sigh. Only to become alert again by the sounds of the great hall.

Harry didn't really know what happened, in fact, this whole night had been confusing. One moment Voldemort had been dancing and taunting him, and the next Voldemort had been screaming in agony. Being alerted Harry disarmed him and walked forward as Voldemort's body fell limp to the ground. Harry's wide eyes took in the sight of Voldemort's dead body. The sounds of Disco music still going. His friends rushed in through the doors, searching for him. Once they found him they ran to him and gave him the greatest hug they could give. The others cheered that Voldemort was now truly gone. Others had settled down to grief and relax. McGonagall smiled and thanked everyone and gave her condolences. She then went to call in reinforcements to heal and clean.

Harry walked outside and took a deep breath. For the first time in a long time, Harry finally felt at ease.

(The next day)

"So how is it that you vanquished the Dark Lord?" Rita Skeeter asked with big bright eyes, determined to get all the answers. Harry sighed tiredly and paused for a second trying to find the right words. "Well you see, I won him in a dance battle actually. It was brilliant, you should have been there." He then flashed a smile when his picture was being taken.

The End.
