Heroic redemption

Yes another update to this slow going story!

Chapter 3: Rescue

Thel grunted as he shoved a locker upright which had blocked the door to one of the rooms. His mandibles flared in disgust at the sight of an overweight human who looked like their head was hit with a Jirahane's gravity hammer lying on their back in the doorway, obviously they had been toppled backwards trying to make a stand if their pose was to go by. Behind him he could hear the human hero retching.

Half the room was collapsed and a faint motion signal was coming from under the rubble, the kind slow breathing generated, something the sensor automatically filtered out in battle mode as everything would set it off otherwise. Sadly this mode could only ever detect motion within 5 meters and was next to useless on a single rescue operative, thus entire squads were needed to comb even the smallest of rescue scenes to be sure they missed nothing.

"Kami, what kind of fucked up was the kid who did that?" Ramna gagged.

"A child did that? By the moons this world is messed up." Thel shook his head as he walked upto the rubble and began to carefully shift it, making sure to not move anything that could cause a collapse.

"Anything?" Ranma asked.

"There is something alive in there." Thel admitted as he pulled the remains of a ceiling panel aside to reveal a chunk of cement with a twisted pipe sticking through it, a child's leg barely visible under it and judging by the location of the pipe the kid's ankle was destroyed. "Ill lift this up, you grab the child."

"Right." Ramna nodded seriously as he crouched down, grabbing the leg as Thel lifted the cement chunk. Pulling quickly but carefully he managed to pull the dust covered green haired boy out, both of his heels were shattered and his left ankle was a bloody pulp. Checking in the cavity he saw another missing person, this one was a teacher. "Can you hold it?"

"For a minute or so but this building is unstable." Thel admitted as Ranma dove under the rubble and came out a few moments later with the teacher. "Where is the forth?"

"Not here." Ranma admitted as the building shook.

"Hurry." Thel ordered as he lowered the rubble and picked up the teacher, Ranma picking up the child. The man nodded as they rushed back towards the entrance only to stop as a blood soaked teen rounded the corner.

"You." They growled. "FUCKING DEKUS!" They roared as a loud explosion erupted frown their outstretched hand. Thel barely had time to move aside as the blast grazed his shields burning through a quarter of the charge. "YOU'RE ALL DEAD!"

"Damnit." Ranma hissed in pain, his arm had been grazed by the blast and it had not only torn his sleeve but second degree burns formed across his arm near his elbow. "Got anything to restrain them?"

"I am a warrior not law enforcement." Thel shook his head as he repositioned the woman to be as protected by him as possible. "I only have lethal means to stop this and from experience humans will react violently to that."

"DON'T YOU IGNORE ME YOU BASTARDS!" The blonde screamed as he charged the group, explosions blasting from his sweat covered hands. A blast sent Ranma flying into the wall as he screamed in agony, his entire right arm was gone. With an angry snarl thel shoulder tackled the blonde against the wall as the building shook. With a angry snarl the blonde blasted another explosion, this one burst Thel's shields as the roof caved in, separating the blonde from them.

"We must hurry, it is unstable here." Thel shouted at Ranma as he picked up the wounded green haired child and sat him between his shoulder and neck armor, opposite to the human female before grabbing Ranma by the scruff of his costume. "If there is time you may send in the propper authorities to subdue the rampaging human."

Thel panted slightly as he sprinted out of the collapsing building, barely two feet from the door when it collapsed. Immediately he was rushed by two human medics if what he saw during the battle of reach was accurate. He knelt down to one knee as he allowed them to grab the green haired child and the hero before rushing them to an aid station. A human who looked like a silver colored Demon with a slitted visor rushed over as he carefully took the teacher and rushed back off for the aid station where he began to assist the medics.

Thel drooped slightly at what he saw coming next however. No matter the species, be they Human, Unggoy or even Kig-yar reporters were all the same. He remembered the joyus unggoy who was at his branding, broadcasting his shame across the entirety of the covenant. The humans rushed forwards pushing microphones in his face and pointing various cameras at him, their words a muddle of sound from the sheer numbers alone.

Eventually one reporter was loud enough to be heard over the others. "What's your name and quirk!?"

Thel blinked at that. Did they assume him human? It didn't matter, if he had to single handedly battle the flood again to repent for the horrors his kind wrought on humanity then so be it. "I am Thel Vadame of house Vadam. I hail from Sangehlios, a arid world from what you call the Orion arm of the galaxy."

There was stunned silence as one reporter even dropped their microphone. Undeterred Thel continued. "My landing here was an accident but I cannot in good concious turn a blind eye to those who needed help. If you excuse me, I must see if I can restrain the one still inside."

The crowd of reporters backed away from the large Sangheli as he made his way to the once more collapsed entry to the school, a pair of officers and a man in a brown cloak blocked his way.

"We'll handle it from here. First we have a few questions." The cloaked man stated bluntly.

"Once the blonde youth is restrained and not a danger then I shall." Thel stated as he tried to continue on only for a firm hand to grab his shoulder armor. On instinct thel spun around and drew his energy sword in one swift motion. Standing there was a massive blonde human easily bigger than the Spartan demon known as George who had taken out the carrier In Prophet's wrath during the battle of the human world reach. "I'll handle it from here, they just want to ask some questions." The humongous human stated in a firm but soft tone as the reporters went mental, shouting numerous questions.

"Very well. But be warned, they have already killed." Thel stated severely as he turned back to face the officers and the man in the cloak, with a snap hiss his energy sword deactivated and snapped back to it's spot on his thy armor.

[Elsewhere]

Like many who had been watching the news Inko was stunned silent. A piece of chocolate falling from her fingers half way to her mouth where it fell on the floor. Not only was her baby alive but injured and saved by an alien. Alien life existed! It was all too much for the woman as she fainted, her remaining chocolate shattering against the floor as the green haired woman laid there on the carpet by the TV. It would be an hour before her neighbour mitsuki would come to check on her and find her in her current state, worried for the woman who had been raising Izuku ever since her ex husband's illegal activities were made known to the kind green haired woman.

End.

Same as last chapters.

Thoughts? Pairings and should izuku use covenant tech?

Asides the UNSC showing up for the story who else should? I won't do the flood as even with Quirks BNHA world doesn't really stand a chance against the flood.
