Males have upper horns that point forwards and tufted tails like lions, females have all horns pointing backwards and fluffy tails like cats. They have the special ability to pass from human to beast, but around a third of their people is unable to become fully transformed, getting stuck as humans and only able to transform their limbs limitedly. Jūrui: based off the Worgen of World of Warcraft, is composed of canines. Their blood, if ingested while imbued with chakra, can turn a human in one of them, so it can act as a curse or gift, depending on the person. Their animal traits aren't passed to children by birth, requiring the mentioned blood ingestion to appear. Tsuki clan: a distant relative of the Hyūga clan, sharing the same basic bloodline, the Byakugan. One of the most proeminent clans among the Henran. Tetsu clan: holder of a bloodline that enables one to harden the skin to withstand any blow. Hyūga-Tsuki Hitomi: Hinata's mother, has dark blue hair and lavender eyes, can partially turn into a blue and black tiger. Kyou: brown wolf with green eyes, is a seal and tech expert, knowing how to create gizmos and multi-purpose seals for her goals. Roppoi: black wolf with golden eyes, has extensive field knowledge and was a member of an infiltration squad. Gryphon contract: basically summons these creatures like Jiraiya does with the toads.
