This is the first time I'll be doing a Fate X DXD X Campione fanfic so bear with me since it's been awhile since I've watched Campione. As for the Fate portion, I decided to have some fun and use the Fate/Grand Order - Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia as the storyline that will push Issei and those that were sent with him past their limit since the servants and the monsters there are far stronger than anyone they've faced in their world.
But for now time to begin the legend of the Next Campione.
Takes Place at the Biblical Peace Conference Meeting.
Issei was absorbing the power of the Divine Dividing from Vali and he was successful. "Alright then, take this." He charges up his signature move and Vali prepares himself as Issei shouted.
"Dragon Shot!"
The beam was blocked by Vali as he used his own magic to match the attack but as the powers combined, a rift appeared and the two dragons were frightened by this predicament until Vali saw a way to defeat his partner.
He charged up his magic and aimed it at him. "Farewell, Issei Hyoudou and Ddraig." The magic hit him as it sent him inside of the portal.
"Issei!" Rias reached out as she saw her beloved pawn get sucked into it before she saw Asia and Akeno getting picked up along with Xenovia. Sona caught Xenovia but as she tried to hold her ground she was getting sucked in until Rias grabbed her. "I got you Sona." The others were holding on but sadly some were losing their footing.
Asia saw Irina struggle as she held on and Asia grabbed her hand. "Irina...Thank you for being my friend." She forced the hand open as she flew into the rift. Akeno saw her kohai Gasper and Koneko try to hang on until she nodded. "I'm sorry Rias." The two were almost blown away until Akeno tossed them with some magic to help them stay down. Rias saw this and gasped. "Akeno!" The half fallen looked at her friend and smiled. "Thank you Rias. For everything." She went into the rift as well and Rias was about to let go but the rift broke the ground underneath them and the three flew into the rift.
"Sona-Senpai!" "President!" "Rias!" "So-Chan!"
Kiba was looking at the rift and saw it close. He growled as he used a sword to hang on while helping Tsubaki hold on. "I can't let go of you. I'm sorry." Tsubaki cried as she thought her friend and King were dead now. Until Serafall glared at it. "Sirzechs! You need to lead the others and make sure the alliance is secure. I'll help them. I promise!" Sirzechs held his hand out. "Wait. No!" Serafall was about to be sucked in until she was hit by an object and was knocked unconscious.
The rift began to close as Serafall and the object that hit her entered it.
Sirzechs surveyed the damage and growled as he punched the ground to see that they lost a couple of their loved ones and his little sister and the boy that saved her were gone. "Issei Hyoudou. Please keep her safe."
Issei felt like he was floating in the sea but didn't feel anything.
'What happened? Did I die? No. I can't die yet. I can't!'
His eyes shot open until he coughed a few times before he looked to see himself in some kind of cave. "Where? Where am I?" He heard chains move in the cave as he got defensive. "Ddraig. Ddraig are you okay? Can you hear me?" The gem on the gauntlet glowed a bit before he got a response. {Partner. I'm glad your alright. After you were sucked in that rift we were teleported to a place I am unaware of. However it seems we are not alone. I sense a powerful presence a couple of feet ahead of you. I believe whoever that is may give us an idea on where we are and how to leave this place.}
Issei nodded as he agreed with his partner before heading to thesound of rattling chains. As he moved to the sounds that echoed within the darkened cave he was immediately greeted with loud roars of rage, pain and grief. The teen cautiously made his way through the pitch-black cave with only a small flame to light his path and saw what looked like ruins of buildings strewed around the area, frowning Issei took a corner and immediately gasped.
Directly in front of him was the skeleton of a massive nine headed serpent, a hazy smog surrounding it that Issei could immediately tell was dangerous. The teen was about to turn back until heard a bellowing roar echo in the cave. He followed the roar and saw in the center of the ruins was a massive giant of a man standing on top a platform while his arms and legs were bound by chains that were tied to the walls of the cave.
The giant was breathing deeply as if he was tired. Tired from his struggles and the chains that bound him. Issei was curious as to who the person bound in those chains were before someone interrupted his thinking.
"Such a shame for a great man isn't it."
Issei turned to see a chair and inside of the chair was a man who was as if someone tries to mix the pretty boys and bad boys into one individual. The man was shockingly and surprisingly handsome. He possessed a lean muscular body, platinum-blonde hair, and big eloquent eyes. He wore a tunic that seems to cover his entire body which Issei was thankful for.
Issei summons Ascalon and pointed the sword to the man. "Who are you? Where am I? Who is this man? And why is he bound in those chains?"
The man stood up and went to the boy before he bowed to him. "My name is Adam. That's what you may call me. We are in the Tomb of one of the greatest heroes in history. The man behind you is one of the great Demi Gods who was punished at every turn but a God who was jealous and despised his existence ever since he was born. The man is Hercules and those chains that hold him are known as the Chains of Heaven. Those chains are a gods greatest weakness as they take away their power and strength. The greater the Divinity a God has, the tighter the chains become. Since he's a Demi God he was blessed with Divinity as well. But if you wish to know the whole story then."
Adam waves his hands in the air and a small pillar is built with a bowl and water in it. Issei saw his reflection in it and Adam continued. "Put your head in the water and you will see the story of the great Hercules."
Issei looked at the water and for some strange reason felt like he could trust the man. "Very well." Issei took a deep breath and put his head in the water.
His subconscious flashed as his mind was shown images of the past.
The greatest hero in Greek mythology. Heracles was a demi-god born from Zeus, the king of the gods, and a human woman (who herself, was the granddaughter of Perseus, a demigod son of Zeus). While he had superior talent in all areas, he had a number of personality issues. He beat his lyre instructor, Linus to death after he reprimanded Heracles for making errors and then caned him with rods, so his mortal father Amphitryon (who himself, was a grandson of Perseus) sent him to tend his cowherds. He thus became a splendid man who accomplished several great deeds that caused the King of Thebes to grant Heracles his daughter, Megara. They had two children, and he earned the right to succeed the king.
He was both young and strong and it seemed that there was no match for him among humans. His future seemed bright, having married the king's daughter and bearing two children, but Zeus's wife, Hera, detested the child born between Zeus and a human. She meddled with his fate at every opportunity, and she started by sending madness to him that caused him to kill his family. Troubled by the sins he had committed, he received a sign that he should atone by becoming the slave of Eurystheus, the man who took away his promised position as king.
Eurystheus, jealous of the strong hero, gave him many difficult tasks, and claimed that Heracles would remain his slave until they were completed. These difficult labors were tasks impossible to complete with normal human skills that later came to be known as the famous Twelve Labors of Heracles. The number of labors originally chosen by the gods was ten, but Eurystheus added two more labors after denying the fulfillment of two of them. Heracles managed to complete even those tasks, so he was granted not only his freedom, but he also received an immortal body as proof of his great accomplishments.
This marked the beginning of the great hero Heracles, the greatest hero in Greece, who singlehandedly achieved great deeds equaling those of the Trojan War and the Argo Expedition. Despite that, Hera's hatred was endless, so the rest of his life was again full of madness. While he should have been immortal, he was killed by poison by one of his wives. Though he was a great hero equally matched with the sun god even as a human, he was slowly killed by Hera's persistent jealousy. He burned his own body, still contaminated with poison at the time of his death, and he entrusted himself to Zeus' judgment. The gods approved of his great deeds in a conference, prepared a seat in Olympus after his death, and acknowledged him as a god.
However Hera did not wish for the Demi God to be in the court so she bound his soul to a tomb where he was imprisoned by the Chains of Heaven for all of eternity. Heracles struggled but try as he might, he couldn't break those chains.
Issei head came out of the water and he was breathing deeply as he tried to calm down as he looked into the past of the great hero. Adam waited patiently for the boy to calm down as he looked at him and asked. "But if we're in the tomb then isn't there a way for me to get back home?" Adam pondered before he looked at him. "There is a way but the risk is too great."
Issei clenched his fists as he thought of his loved ones who he left behind due to his own recklessness. "I'll do whatever it takes to go back home. Even if I have to become a monster. All I care about is going back home to my loved ones. Rias, Akeno, Koneko, Asia, my brother Kiba, and many others." Issei got on the ground as he bowed to the man.
"Tell me what I must do!"
The reply echoed into the cave that made the giant and the man look at him before Adam kneeled to Issei and lifted his head. "There is a way but the risk is too great. The first thing you must do. Is become a Campione. A God Slayer. And the only god available is him." Issei turned to see Hercules as he looked at the young dragon with a passive face before Issei asked. "So I have to...kill him?"
Adam saw the hesitance in the boy and put a hand on his shoulder. "I understand it isn't easy to take a life but you must know that you can't have that same mindset forever. You can't protect your loved ones if you can't even kill a person. Is it easy? No. Will it get easier? No. But this is a man who is ready to die after being stuck here in this tomb for centuries. Talk to him and I'm sure he'll be more than happy to die."
Issei looked at the giant and the two didn't exchange words as he saw the look in the mans eyes. He saw so much pain, sorrow, fear, and much more. The great hero was done with this imprisonment that he was bound to. He wished to die and reunite with his wife and children. Issei saw the mans eyes and shakily pointed his sword to the giant.
"I will fulfill your wish Hercules. Know you shall always be remembered even after your death."
The giant just looked at Issei as he clenched his teeth and ran to him. "Rest in peace, Hercules." Issei leaped as he stabbed the great hero in the chest and as Issei fell to the ground with Ascalon in his hands, the giant looked at him with a single tear that rolled down his face.
"S'efcharistó fíle mou." whispered Heracles in the first bout of sanity he'd had in a long time before the mad light returned and once again the roars of rage echoed across the area, only this time there was no grief or pain to them. Issei saw the warrior become a light as it went to the boys heart and he felt some pain as he lurched down and felt an intense power inside of him before his body began to grow and change.
Issei yelled as his body went under a massive transformation from the powers of the hero Hercules. Adam watched the boy and Issei was bleeding as his muscles tore from the growth until they regenerated as quick as they tore apart. Issei roared in pain until his skin began to darken and his roar became louder and louder until a silhouette of Hero of Greek appeared behind him as he roared with Issei.
Adam saw the boy collapse after the roar ended and caught him. "Rest now. It's almost time." The man took Issei to the throne he sat in before and placed him there. "The New Campione has been born. Issei Hyoudou. The Red Dragon Emperor and the next God Slayer." Adam placed his hands on the head of the boy and his body became leaves as they all flew into the wind before he looked at the boy.
"Issei Hyoudou. There are many trials in the path you take. There are many who are in danger and your worlds future hangs in the balance of the Holy Grail. All will be told but you will need my power to help you on your goal to return to your world. So, I, Adam. Shall give you my power to combat those you must face."
The leaves became a silver light as they entered the boy and his body glowed before the new Campione was enveloped in a bright light and transported to another place.
Unknown Location
A couple of people were gathering food for their people and king until a worker spotted a bright light in the sky until it began to fall.
The workers dispersed as the object fell faster and faster until the object hit the ground with a massive.
THUD!!
Dust enters the air from the impact and those who were close to it were nervous until one brave individual that looked unique compared to the others walked up to the object and was surprised to see that it was a face that they were familiar with.
"There's no way. Issei is here as well?!"
End.
This is a Triple Crossover that has DXD X Fate/Grand Order - Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia X Campione.
There will be a slight change since the original MC and Mash won't appear in this story but there will be more servants in the story and this will make the DXD people see that the people they faced were nothing compared to the ones they'll be facing in the world their in.
Also Issei is a Campione with the powers of Hercules and Adam. Here's his stats.
Strength: B.
Endurance: A
Agility: A
Mana: C. Due to Issei's low Magic reserves.
Luck: C.
NP: B. (God Hand). A(Nine Lives) A( Balance Breaker)
Passive Skills
Indomitable Will: Adam possessed the strongest will of mankind as stated by Brunhilde; he never showed any sign of faltering or desperation in a deathmatch against the supreme god and during his entire fight, Adam never fell, took a step back, or was brought to his knees; even in death he kept on fighting.
Eyes of the Lord: As a man designed in the image of god, Adam was gifted with the ability to perfectly replicate any move he saw (regardless of its speed or power) and enabling him to evade his opponent's attack whilst simultaneously countering them with their own move. This ability was so incredibly potent that Adam was even able to copy and utilize Zeus' time-surpassing punch after only seeing it a single time.
However, despite its seemingly unbeatable nature, the Eyes of the Lord do have their limits; the strength and power of an opponent's attacks corresponding to the amount of strain put on Adam's nervous system. Zeus, realizing that no singular move of his could best Adam, instead settled for a war of attrition and unleashed an endless onslaught of blows focused solely on overworking Adam's greatest weapons to the point of disabling it, a task which he eventually succeeded in.
PM or Leave a Review on what you think of this story. Plus I'm adding more servants to Gilgamesh's Army and the enemy's will have their own servants to aid them.
He'll still have the original servants: Leonidas, Uwashiwakamaru, Benkei, and Merlin that he summoned. To add onto that would be Brynhildr, Lu Shuwen (Assassin), and Kiyohime.
As for the enemy servants, let's just say they'll be fun to incorporate in the story.
