Important Note: This chapter is all about Naruto's training his stats and skills so its going to get geeky here but hey, I figured I have to cover it and get it done so I can enjoy the story and lemons in the next chapter without much interruptions.
Chapter 4: How to Train your Gamer
At Shukuba Town
After several hours, around 4 PM. Pervy-Sage finally returns with 13 books but most of them are about basic ninja skills or tactics.
"Hey! Pervy-Sage why are you giving this newbie books?"- Naruto with his usual whining voice.
"Sorry Naruto, those books are the only decent ones I can find in this town"- Pervy-Sage.
"But Pervy-Sage!"- Jiraiya cut him before he goes on.
"Look gaki I already ask the Hokage to send some books and they will arrive tomorrow until then you'll have to make do"- Leaving Naruto growling from his answer.
'Naruto calm down for a second and look carefully on your sensei's face'- Silver.
'Why? Something wrong with Pervy-Sage?"- Naruto look closely at Jiraiya's face.

10 Minutes Pass
'Got to hand it to the gaki he managed to stay at it for 10 minutes, but any minute now I know his going to explode'- Jiraiya thought while watching Naruto.
As if on cue Naruto expression started changing, his face is turning red but instead of blowing he and his clones took a deep breath, calming themselves through breathing exercises leaving Jiraiya slack-jawed.
'What just happen?! He should be fuming with frustration right now!'- Jiraiya thought while one of his eyebrows twitches.

This process continues for hours, whenever Naruto close to exploding he would just meditate, Jiraiya finally order Naruto to stop so they can eat dinner but before he dispels his clones.
'Wait Naruto before you dispel them make them meditate'

'Just do it and it will surprise you'- Silver grins.
Naruto followed then dispels his clones.

'So why does meditating give me bonus and why I'm only getting bonus from gamer right now while I didn't before?'- Naruto.
'Meditation before dispelling allows your clones to organize their memory and their thoughts making it 50% more effective when it's transferred to you, as for perks they are automatically calculated, you only been notified now because you have a quest that monitors your base stats, they are normally done behind the scene'- Silver.
"Naruto quit spacing out or you'll miss dinner, I ordered ramen"- Jiraiya grinning.
"Ramen! Ramen! Ramen! Here I come!"- Naruto chanting.
Jiraiya is relieved that Naruto still loves ramen, too much changes in one day and he might try to tie him up with a rope and interrogate/torture him for suspicion of being an imposter. After finishing their meal, they went back to their room and Naruto start reading while his sensei just watch him silently until it was 8 PM. He stopped him and order him to sleep which Naruto willingly followed not before meditating, dispelling and then gone to bed.

Jiraiya notice a sudden spike in gaki's chakra but didn't comment, he waited until Naruto falls asleep before taking a scroll, write something on it then summon a small toad to deliver the scroll.
Back at Konoha: Hokage's Office
"My lady its 10 PM were done for today"- Shizune.
"YES! Finally! I could really drink some sake right"- Tsunade cheering like a kid who just got free from school making Shizune sweat on her antics but got interrupted when a toad suddenly appeared.
"What now! That old pervert better have a good excuse!"- the Hokage pick up the scroll noticing there's a sealing jutsu on it.
My dear beautiful Hokage, I know it's just been a few days since we left the village but I have important things to report which I believe should be consider S-Rank secret so please let's keep this to ourselves, first let's start with small things.
I request to have a copy of books in Ninja section of Konoha's Library, it's for Naruto he's been asking me for books to read. Can you believe it? I myself still having a hard time to accept it, I been watching Naruto reading for hours without any complains, I'm very proud his maturing before my eyes.
Reading this made Tsunade and Shizune raise some eyebrows and smiled. Then the next one hits them.
Next is the important part, while we we're walking, he suddenly fainted then a seal appeared on his forehead.

When it appeared his body surges with a powerful chakra and I assure you it wasn't the kyubi, this chakra is powerful but smooth and it feels like a refreshing cool water. I didn't bring him back to Konoha because, one his life is not endangered on contrary it's making him stronger, two he doesn't know where it comes from leading me to believe it might be an Uzamaki bloodline thing since we both know his father was a clan-less orphan and we don't want any attention especially from unsavory people.
That's why I'm asking if you have any info about Lady Mito's Seal, I believe it's much closer to hers than yours.
"Naruto awakens his bloodline, isn't that"- She stop when she saw her sensei's face gone red with tick marks.
"That snooty little brat gains a seal mark just like that! while I had to work hard to get mine its unfair!'- Tsunade whining like a kid making Shizune and her pig Tonton facepalm.
"I'll order more bottles of sake, how's that Lady Tsunade?"- Shizune just force smile wondering how she end up acting like a mother to someone much older than her.
At Shukuba Town
The Sun finally rises, so does the master and student duo, they went to get their breakfast and started planning their to-do list for this day.
"Hey Pervy-Sage I'm still not used to reading yet, if it's okay I want to stay in town"- Naruto smile sheepishly while rubbing the back of his neck.
"Sure gaki, I need to gather intel in this town before we leave so behave yourself while I'm gone"- Jiraiya smiling.
Then the two look at each other eyes, to outsider it looks like their glaring at each other but in truth their having a wordless conversation with their eyes.
Naruto knows the real reason why Jiraiya agreed, Shukuba Town is also known as town of pleasure because of many hotels, motels and specially it's Fun Fun Avenue (Fan Fan Tori) that he can use on his 'Research' on pretty women.
Jiraiya knows Naruto is hiding something but despite his perverted personality, the Pervy-Sage does not force people to talk about things they don't like talking except when on emergency.
'Do your own thing while I'll do my own'- That's what two of them were thinking and they both nodded to each other.
They went back to their room, after bathing and changing cloths, Jiraiya open a storage scroll leaving Naruto with lots of books and making a clone to watch over him, Pervy-Sage took off with a big smile.
Naruto went back to his work, make clones/read books/meditate/dispel rinse repeat. He noticed that the more INT he gains the harder it is to gain more but it doesn't stop him from completing the quest.
After One Week on Training Trip
During the week he manages to unlocks and level up some of his skills.

'Insult? Far from it, it means you can grow much stronger, isn't that your goal?'- Silver smiled.
'True! Yosh! I'll train much harder!'- His eyes are now on fire.
'Great! Now if you don't mind, please stop saying 'yosh' you remind me of that green spandex wearing guy'
'Oh yeah! I forgot I brought mine, I'll wear it since were starting physical training'- Naruto smiling excitedly.
'Kami! I thought since his INT went up he will stop doing those things, I guess he desperately needs a good role model'
Back At Reality
Right after Naruto fainted, Jiraiya's clone informs the original, his now standing in front of Naruto's body wondering what to do. Jiraiya took a long stick and poke him with it until he wakes up, being cautious since he doesn't want to be blasted away like the last time.
"Hey! Stop that! what do you think I am? A dog shit on the road?!"- Naruto complains as he swipes the stick away.
"Dog shits doesn't go around fainting and spiking his chakra gaki"- Jiraiya amused.
"Whatever Pervy-Sage"- Naruto rise up then went to take his green spandex from his bag.
"No! No! No! I already told you gaki, I don't want to be seen walking with someone wearing that!"- Jiraiya terrified on what he sees, Naruto just ignored him and use his [Observe] on that thing.

Jiraiya felt relieve seeing Naruto hiding it beneath his clothes, he much prefers Naruto's Kill-Me-Orange jumpsuit over that thing. Then he ordered Naruto to pack up and so they can leave, his earlier chakra spike was so huge it's practically like a homing beacon even to non-sensory ninja.
While walking towards their next destination Naruto has been spamming his skills.

With his huge chakra and high chakra regen it was no problem to him. After hours of walking his sensei ordered him to set up camp, he made some clones but they were also spamming [Observe] while working. It was until they finishing eating that he finally maxed it out.

Jiraiya is getting worried of Naruto's changes, first his start reading books, his able to sit still and now his not asking him for a jutsu, he normally would keep pestering him until he relent.
"Hey gaki what's your plan for your training?"- Jiraiya ask, Naruto thinks for a while before answering.
"For now, I'm planning to max out- I mean master my basic skills, Iruka sensei always keep on reminding me not to neglect them"- Naruto said casually.
'Basics huh? True its important but Naruto I know doesn't care about basic, his just like the other kids who think cool and flashy jutsu is what being a ninja all about but this could be my chance to find out what's his hiding' Jiraiya made a plan.
"Naruto go ahead with your training I'll just go look around check the perimeter"- Jiraiya.
"Sure thing Pervy-Sage!"
After they finish their meal, Jiraiya went to check their perimeter but quickly create a shadow clone while the real one hides. Naruto clean up and put away their food then proceed to his training.
'So how do we do this Silver?'- Naruto stretching his body.
'Create a Hundred clones, 70 on chakra control exercise, 30 for maxing your skills and you the original will focus on physical training'
'Why a hundred? When I could just create thousands of them!'- Boast Naruto.
'No Naruto, we need them to last longer and have more chakra to use for training otherwise it will be useless'
'Fine, but what about my physical training, what exactly I need to do?'
'Listen carefully Naruto, there's a cap limit for each base stats: 5 per level, means yours 5 x 40 = 200, your INT, VIT and LUCK manages to surpass this because of your perks, you can't break through it using normal means, so for now focus on making your STR and AGI reach 200, 1k push-up/1k sides-step/1k weight lifting keep doing them until you max it'

'Sounds tough but that's just how I like it!'- Naruto started quickly.
As usual Naruto made sure his clones meditated before dispelling it became a habit of his, maxing out his skills took 3-4 days after that he focus all 100 clones on chakra control. Physical training was a cinch since he can heal his body cells fast.
His training hit a snag with the chakra control, Chakra Control Exercise: Spinning Kunai has similarity with Rasengan training, is that you rotate your chakra but in this case you have to make a kunai float, make it spin, hold it so it won't fly off and maintain it, which is much harder than Rasengan's third step: Containment.
It only got better when he unlocks [Focus] on [Meditation] lvl.30 and after he max out [Chakra Control] he can finally make a rasengan with just one hand while Jiraiya was just watching in awe.

Naruto at first wants to buy Iron Body and Bull's Horn but after thinking about it, with his gamer power and the nine-tails on his gut, he's already both strong and durable.
He chooses Chakra Sensory to detect chakra specially from genjutsu attacks which is his greatest weakness and Multi-tasking which Silver insist that would really help with his ability to think on the fly and training.

Now that Naruto's stats, basic skills and his weakness are all covered it's time for him to branch out learn new skills.

Cells restriction seal, allows one to restrict all cells of the user's body including brains cells etc. for the purpose of overall growth. Reduce base stats to half when activated, allows user to grow pass maximum cap.

One Month on Training Trip

1 Year on Training Trip
Naruto has now grown from 4'9 to 5'2, he's now level 50, power wise his stats rivals a regular Jounin while the pendant is activated. He and Jiraiya are now traveling towards land of steam to relax in their famous hot spring after a whole year of not stop training.
