Sage
Two Weeks Later
San Diego, California
"One..two..three…one..two."
The sound of a three count was on beat with the sound of smacking as the person standing in the middle of the room kept hitting the large bag that was hanging from the ceiling beam. His legs smacking hard against it as the few guards that surrounded the room just stared and listened to the sound of legs being smacked against the bag.
"Sir. Your siblings are here."
The man who was hitting the bag stopped after his final count. Taking a deep breath. He bowed to the bag as he snapped his fingers with two guards moving towards the moving bag. While he grabbed a towel on his desk wiping the sweat off of himself.
"Send them in." Was all the man said his voice as deep as his menacing size made him out to be.
"Please…I'm sorry boss." The two men had unzipped the bag as a body fell out. His face beaten and bloody. As he groaned in pain with each breath. And as he tried to move the door to the room opened and in came two people.
One was a tall man whose size dwarfed every person in the room. His hair spiked up with a bang covering a part of his right eye. A scar down his left cheek as his grey soulless eyes showing his care for the things around him as his short sleeved dress shirt was tight on his fit body. While his black pants showed he had been in the dirt given the dirt stains on it.
While the other occupant was much shorter by a few inches though the sick smile on her face showed she was just as if not more dangerous then everyone in the room. Her hair tied into a pony tail. As her open blouse with a slick jacket hung tightly to her body. As her boots stomped on the ground did her purple eyes meet the man who was calling out for help as her happy expression darkened.
"Don't touch me pig." And with a swipe of her boot his leg went sailing across the room.
"Would you not do that Vanessa. It's hard enough to get the blood off my house carpets, but it's even harder on the company couch." The man said as he put on his grey jacket.
"Aaah. But brother Dante he touched my brand new boots." The now named Vanessa said as she gave a funny pout.
"Boots you stole from that hero girl. What was her name Zeno." Dante spoke as he turned to his taller brother.
"Galloway." His nonchalant voice spoke about how much he didn't care.
"Ah she sure was interesting. I mean of course she fell to me. But still she was sure fun." Vanessa said with so much excitement.
"Calm your blood lust sister. We still haven't been able to get over that mess you did in Washington." Dante said as his sister sighed.
"I said I was sorry." She pouted.
"What are you two doing here anyway. I thought your business in Iowa would take a while." Dante spoke as he opened his computer typing away at the current messages presented to him.
"We finished early and on our way back. We heard some interesting news." Vanessa said with excitement.
"Oh and pray tell what is this excitement." Dante asked not caring in the slightest.
"Marcus is dead." Zeno simply said as Dante stopped typing though still showing no emotion as he turned towards his two siblings.
"Care to elaborate on that." He simply asked.
"He went splat. And apparently so did those Yakuza guys he was meeting with." Vanessa just laughed at it finding it all funny.
"Do you happen to know who did it." Dante didn't show it, but he was irritated at the moment if by the look of his eyes didn't show it. Then the fact he was cracking the desk with his bare hands.
"The police in Osaka didn't find any evidence as the whole scene was a bloody mess." Zeno showed him pictures ones he looked through and raised an eyebrow not in disgust, but rather with intrigue and amazement.
"So much blood. Whoever did it showed no mercy." Vanessa had a large smile on her face. One that was crazy and lustful.
"Seems Marcus was able to fight back. Though our assailant was able to take him down with ease." Zeno said as he saw his brother staring at the pictures taken of Marcus.
"How do you know it was just one man." Dante asked staring into his brothers eyes.
"Because of the fact. This isn't the first time something like this has happened to us." Zeno then showed more photos of many of their business deals going wrong and most of their guys being blood splatters on the wall.
"So our old friend Sage has returned." Dante said his grey eyes becoming black as he showed a rare smile one that showed how blood thrusting he was.
"Oooo can I try and kill him this time." Vanessa asked raising her hand.
"It will take more then one of us to kill him. You know that." Zeno chaste sized his little sister as she pouted.
"First we must find out why he is in Japan. He wouldn't travel all the way their just to stop a simple deal between two factions. No their must be a reason." Dante said.
"We could send in more of our knights to check in and spy on any stories that may pop up." Zeno said as his brother nodded.
"Oh can I send in one of my lovely pillars with them." Vanessa asked a full blown smile on her face.
"They are your men. You do what you want with them, but each of you send in three of your best knights. For are object is clear and finding the last puzzle to our solution is becoming clearer every day." Dante said as he turned towards the busy city a wicked smile on his face. For their peaceful days would soon be over.
Mustafa, Japan
Next Day
A heavy sigh escaped the lips of one of the many officers inside the police headquarters. His eyes showing nothing, but the drowsy look and the fact he hadn't slept in days or wasn't getting enough sleep. His name was Naomasa Tsukauchi and the reason he was up so late was the fact he and every cop in Japan along with hero were currently out looking for the killer of Osaka who had butchered nearly a dozen men in the east harbor.
It was a sight that those who first encountered were not ready for. And for once the news agreed with their idea of keeping it away from public knowledge as it would cause an uproar. With a killer on the loose in their streets it would not hold well for any of them.
"Detective we just got a message about a possible sighting of the Osaka killer." One officer said peaking into his office.
"Wait really!" Naomasa looked up excitement in his tired features.
"We can't be a hundred percent as the caller just talked about someone walking down an alley covered in blood." The officer said.
"Have the officers brought him in." Naomasa asked.
"Yes he is waiting in the interrogation room for you." The officer said before walking away as Naomasa grabbed a few of his things and rushed to the room. Only to find not the killer, but a man whose face was blank almost as if the sight of whatever's he saw shattered his very being.
"Blood. Everywhere." We're bud only words being spoken.
"Excuse me Mr. Rubi. I am detective Naomasa I am in charge of finding this killer. Did you happen to get a look at him." He started asking him basic questions. But the moment his eyes met him he knew he wasn't getting anything.
"Blood. EVERYWHERE!" He yelled as he pulled at his chains trying to break free with Naomasa trying everything to calm him down, but having no such luck as officers rushed in to subdue him.
"Seems another dead end." A man or to be more precise a dog man walked in worry in his eyes.
"Have we been able to separate the blood from all the carnage." Naomasa asked.
"Unfortunately not. Though one boys that was away from the others we have been able to identify." The dog passes him a folder.
"The Crime syndicate. What are they doing in Japan." Naomasa said aloud confusion on his face.
"I don't know, but my guess is they wanted to strike a deal with the Yakuza. Seeing as most of them have the signature look of them. I can only assume they wanted to implement the same tactics they have been using in America." The dog said.
"If that is true. Then whoever killed them all heard their plans. Though why he decided to kill them and not let the local heroes do it. Is beyond me." Naomasa new that most criminal groups stayed far from Japan as possible. With many too and powerful heroes living here they would be hard pressed to commit a huge crime.
The Crime syndicate On the other hand.
They had been known as the kings and queens of the underworld having taken over small countries and been the main starters of small wars. With the result being hundreds and sometimes thousands dead. With many heroes added to that list. As nearly 424 heroes had fallen victim to their hands. Full grown veteran heroes along side rookies barely out of high school.
They show no mercy. No matter if your old or young. To them your just a peace of meat.
"I have informed many of the heroes across the country to be more vigilante." The dog spoke.
"Let us hope they can spot this killer. Before he is found by someone much worse." Naomasa looked back down at the folder. His thoughts still confused on what the syndicate gain from this.
Mustafa, Japan
7:34pm
"The town has gotten quiet crowded now."
The thoughts of Izuku drifted as he stared down from the tall office building he had decided to perch on. As his eyes drifted to the city streets watching the people of Japan move about their day as if nothing was wrong. No heroes. No villains. No super powers.
That would be a time he wished he had. A calm collective world where the only thing he would have to worry about. Would be bettering himself and his education. Instead here he was a boy alone on a roof. While the world revolves around heroes and their icon. As the villains plotted and the heroes show their true selfs. In the end it doesn't matter.
"We all die. It's just a matter of time."
CRASH!
Izuku turned his head slightly to the right as he saw a small family size car get smacked on the side by a more race type car. If the way it was built and how fast it was going could be of any indication. As the family car had a side of it dented inward as the male inside looked okay. But upon exiting his vehicle did his anger show. As he yelled at the other driver. A young adult not that much older from himself. Though Izuku could see the kid didn't care about if he hurt the old man. He just cared about his car.
BEEP! BEEP!
The cars all around then honked their horns and yelled out their windows as many found the situation a waste of their time and yelled at them to move. With the two not caring in the slightest.
"Guess people will be people."
Izuku got up. Ready to leave the area and return back to his humble home. Until the yells of the people down before turned to screams as he stopped mid step. Turning to watch as one of the drivers stuck in traffic. Got out of his car and grew to giant size. His quirk Izuku guessed was one that made him grow though judging by the size it wasn't much as he was about the size of a regular house.
CRASH
Izuku slightly widen his eyes as he saw the man smacking into other cars and pushing them away as he tried to get to the focus of the traffic jam. And during the process he knocks one car that was to close to the edge over as the people down below moved out of the way. With the driver inside the falling car screaming only for it to be caught in a next of wood.
"So the heroes finally arrive. They got faster."
Izuku watched one of the new heroes he had looked up on in Japan. The pro hero Kamui woods. A very popular hero who to many saw as a true pillar of heroism and one who Izuku knew followed the laws to a strict. Izuku didn't care much for him, but he decided to watch as a way to study Kamui woods in case a future altercation would occur between the two. Though Izuku knew that it would bore him and that some other hero would come in and take out the big guy. With his theory being proven correct not a moment later as another new hero. Mt. Lady appeared and delivered the finishing blow to the giant.
"Heroes. Always thinking about the show and not those viewing."
Izuku glared at the large lady trying to get the cameramen to take more photos of her and all eyes on her as Kamui woods tied up the bad guy. His job done he got up once again. To return home knowing someone would notice a kid alone on a roof.
"DADDY!"
Izuku stopped as he looked back down at the scene watching the cause for all this being the two people who got into an accident. With the young adult having enough of the older man and slamming him into the hood of his car. His son all the while had gotten out to try and help him only for the young adult to raise his arm as the ground underneath him morphed and enclosed around him.
"Stay out of this kid or else you'll end up like your dad will in a second." The young adult gave a smirk that spoke volumes of what he was about to do.
"HEY STOP!" Kamui woods yelled finally noticing the commotion as Mt. lady also did and the two had wide eyes as they saw the adult form stone around his body and raise his right arm as it turned into a spear.
"Close your eyes son. Please." Was all the father could say as he closed his eyes waiting the end.
SLAM
CRACK
"AHHH!"
The young adult let the dad go as he found himself knocked back into his car as the two went sailing over the bridge and into the empty alley way below.
"Are you okay." The soft voice of Izuku allowed the dad to open his eyes only to jump back in fright as he saw a kid by the sounds of it taller then him. Wearing a plain white mask with green painted symbols all over it.
"Y-yes thank you." The dad couldn't hide the fact he was a little scared of the person in front of him. As he felt an aura around him that wasn't normal.
"Take your child to safety. Get one of the heroes to help free him." Izuku walked away from the man as he approached the broken section of the bridge. As without hesitation he dropped down landing with a loud clap as the ground cracked to his pressure.
"You bastard that car cost me thousands." The man raged as he stared down the one who had kicked him off.
Izuku didn't even speak as he simply stood a few feet away from him a blank empty expression hidden underneath his mask. One that the man didn't like one bit as he became angered even more.
"I'll fucking kill you." He covered himself in stone as the ground around him rumbled, before spears shot out towards Izuku.
The spectators on the sidelines watched in awe as some had cameras or video ready. With Izuku not caring in the slightest as the spears drew closer and with a simple move of his body he was dodging most of the attacks. As the man screamed charging in with a right hook only for Izuku to raise his hand blocking the attack. Which caused a shockwave that blew the small rocks on the ground.
"W-what the hell." Was all the man could say shock evident on his face.
Snap
"AHHH! You BASTARD!" The man yelled as Izuku snap his wrist as a loud snap was heard throughout the area.
"You their stop." Kamui woods dropped down as police started to make their way down with him. All of them on alert from the man before then.
"GET THIS ASSHOLE OFF ME!" The man yelled.
"Let him go. Well let the justice system handle him." Kamui woods ignored the screaming man as he tried to talk down the man who had him in his hands.
Izuku just stood their staring at the screaming man. His expression the same as before his care for the hero and the officers behind him making him care even less. Though he knew they would take this man to jail to face trial he felt he should leave a lasting mark upon the man before him. So he leaned in so only the man could hear his next words
"Next time. Watch how your driving."
SNAP
"AAAHH!"
Kamui woods, the officers and all the by standers could only gasp as with a simple tug the arm of the guy was ripped clean off. His screams drowning out any other screams of horror. As Izuku looked at the appendage with little care and tossed it somewhere in a pile of garbage as wood bindings wrapped around him.
"You are under arrest."
Izuku didn't respond simply turning towards the hero and the officers as with a simple flex of his muscles. Did the restraints break as Kamui was shocked once more.
"Don't move or I will shoot." One of the few brave officers said holding a gun towards him.
Izuku didn't show fear as he started to walk away the officer yelling at him once again. Before giving a warning shot as he ignored it and continued walking. Until a giant foot stood in his way. And as he looked up he saw the face of Mt. lady who gave him her meanest glare. Which to anyone would put fear in them, but to him he didn't even flinch.
"You heard him don't move." She empathized it by balling her fist as Izuku sighed wondering if he should just use his other powers to escape knowing they wouldn't let him go.
"Follow them my son."
The hollow voice in his head stopped any thoughts of escape as he looked back at the group of officers and bystanders. His mind in a confused array. Not knowing what to do and for once he decided to just go with this feeling as he raised his hands.
"Just make sure my cell is empty."
