 Author has written 10 stories for Xiaolin Showdown, Danny Phantom, Harry Potter, Blue Exorcist/青の祓魔師, Corpse Party, Naruto, Fairy Tail, and Bleach. Hello, my name is (not) Yaodai and I'm a person of many fandoms and even more ideas. I write to amuse myself and because the Plot Bunnies are not going to leave me alone. Ever. You may even say that the Plot Bunnies took over my life and are not going to give it up any time soon. What I Write About? I tend to use less popular characters. I also like to have them stumble - usually literally - into some sort of trouble. Then the whole situation quickly snowball into something unexpected. Usually because I want to tell a joke, or some other reason. Usually it is a very dumb reason, but hey! If it works... I don't like to overpower my characters (borrowed or OC), so if the main cast is about to gain some sort of new power/knowledge/lightsaber, then the villains are going to find a Death Star under the Christmas Tree. On the other hand, I don't avoid fight/action scenes. Underdog or not, everyone can bite if pushed far enough. Romance never was among things I find interesting, so if there's going to be a pairing showing up in one of the stories, the fluffy kissyfaces are not going to have a very important role plotwise. It also takes a lot of time for anything of this sort to even show up, since I truly believe in slow progression when it comes to love related stuff. Balance of power is a thing I tend to care a lot, especially in crossover stories. Stealing the thunder from one series, bashing and other lazy ways of portraying cast of one of the crossed-over series, just to show how amazing are the characters from the second one - not my cup of tea. Ah, also. Not a native speaker. My English is sometimes doing unexpected things. Feel free to point your fingers and laugh a bit. Just share with me, I like to laugh too. (No, seriously. Do it. It actually helps) The Matter Of Updates: I'm going to be frank, I'm very bad with keeping a regular schedule. I'm getting bored easily, I tend to jump a lot between fandoms and I'm just plain bad with sticking to only one thing. So, while I'm going to finish all of my stories at some point, it might take me awhile to accomplish. |
