| Author's Notice! - REMASTERING! |
Hello everyone!
to wish all of you well. The world has become a rather scary place and I hope that all of you have been able to stay as safe and healthy as possible.
As far as the other news, I would like to announce that I have officially returned to ! While I was away for a while (10 years) due to life being life, I have finally reached a place where I can once more return to my writing. That said, as I'm sure you can tell from the title of this that I will indeed be remastering this story. In fact, I've already published the first chapter!
"But why a remaster? Why not just continue this" - A good question! Simply because my writing has changed quite a bit over the years. Not only that, but as I looked over the reviews, I realized that several parts of the story were both confusing as well as a bit inconsistent (Hinata's shirt changing colors for example or people thinking Hinata had stolen Naruto's underwear). Not to mention, I wanted to give this my full attention with the level of skill in writing that I have now while also not destroying my previous work. There's something to be said about looking back over what you've done and seeing the difference of how far you've come. So, I wanted to preserve this story as is and take another crack at it elsewhere. I hope that makes sense to you!
"Will this ever get a chapter 3 for as it is?" I could do that if you wanted, but I cannot say that I could match my writing style as much. I'm a lot more practiced now than I was then. Still, the idea is not entirely unappealing, though, with the remaster, I'm already planning on including the third chapter, along with possibly more chapters.
"Are you going to change stuff?" Absolutely! The whole point of remastering is to update and enhance the experience, as well as correct mistakes! Though I will be trying to keep the core of it intact.
"Are you going to stay here and not vanish for years again?" Yes! At the time that I was writing the story, my living situation was a bit precarious, and shortly after that I found myself sucked into life's events. Between picking up a job and losing my PC, I had little time to sit down and write-or perhaps I was simply too "caught up" to do so. Either way, yes, I am here to stay this time. Not to worry.
