Chapter 17

Tony couldn't help but mewl softly as his husband kept him keening and arched his body with every powerful thrust. The burning flams of his heat taking over him combined with his Alpha taking him apart made him dig his slightly long nails into his Alpha's back trying to hold on for dear life. Tony couldn't help chanting his mate's name over and over, quivering in his place as Steve's hands ran over every inch of his body, not leaving an inch unmark.

This was the second time that Tony and Steve spent a heat together, the second time for them to be this intimate since they got married and spent their first time in Italy enjoying themselves. Just like their first time, Tony couldn't help but feel the same as he felt on their first time, cherished wanted, loved… a fate that Tony doesn't know how his husband managed to do since they both were losing themselves to their instincts as their days processed and the heat and rut clouded their judgments.

Tony couldn't help but let out a keen, shaking as he was getting closer and closer to finishing than his husband. Tony couldn't help the noises that were leaving him and they seemed too beautiful to Steve for his Alpha had to hold his growl every time he saw Tony getting more lost in euphoria. Tony's quivering thighs couldn't help but tighten up around Steve's waist, not letting the Alpha have any room to pull away from him, which did nothing but caused Steve to groan and thrust deeply, pulling a keening gasp from Tony as his mate hit his prostate. "R… R-right there, Alpha!" Tony moaned, holding tightly to Steve, shivering when his Alpha let out a dark growl and speed up. "Please! Knot me, knot me…" Tony whimpered softly to his mate before hiding his face in Steve's neck; Tony was slicker and slicker with each thrust and his husband had to pull and push more to have his body accept him. "Alpha…" Tony whimpered, already feeling closer and closer to finishing with each second that passes.

"Shhh… It is alright, little Omega, I am here." Steve said softly he held him gently and drove into him even more, making Tony whine and whimper unable to control the volume of his voice; the only thing he was thankful for was that Peter was not here and that Howard accepted babysitting their son with a happy smile. Tony couldn't help but let out a sudden gasp as his back arched when his mate brushed his prostate one last time making him released without a warning. Tony couldn't help but give a whimper of desire as he spurred his Alpha to press the knot inside; Tony made a squawking noise as his Alpha finally answered his demands and knot him. Steve could only grunt as he cum, holding Tony tightly to his chest. Tony could only cling tightly to his Alpha with a choked whimper as a second release was ripped off him.

The only sound that could be heard in the room was gasps as both Tony and Steve tried to regain themselves, shivering now and then as the pleasure course through their bodies. Tony couldn't help but mewl softly when Steve turns around on his back and placing him on his chest, causing Tony to sigh contently and snuggle to his Alpha. Tony then started purring softly as he felt Steve's hand running throw his hair gently whispering how beautiful and brave Tony was and how he loved him more than anything in the world, that action made Tony flush happily and snuggle to his Alpha, even more, his purring increasing when he felt a warm blanket over him.

Tony hummed as his hand starts running over Steve's chest, a happy smile taking over his face as he remembered the events of the past week. It had been a week since Tony had felled into his heat, a week since he and Steve had locked themselves home refusing to leave the bedroom unless it was necessary; a week since they saw Peter. Thankfully today was their last day before they had to face the world once more, Tony admit it was a fun and amazing week, but Tony still miss his baby like crazy and want to hug Peter tightly before going to see Harley and see how he was doing; something that his husband was feeling no doubt.

"Steve…" Tony purr shifting in his place before raising his head to look at his husband… his husband looked amazing with his bed hair; it really gave him a unique look. "Do you think Betty would let us take Harley to the park tomorrow?" Tony asked, a smile taking over his face as he imagined how Peter was going to react when they take the two kids to the part tomorrow that is if Betty accepted to come with them as Harley's guardian.

"Maybe… she became a little stern considering that the adoption process is coming to an end?" Steve stated softly holding Tony to his chest tightly; scent-marking his husband while releasing a calming scent hoping that Tony wouldn't get stress at the reminder.

Tony could only press his lips tightly and hum, leaning back down on Steve's chest, thinking about his husband's words. It was true; finally, the adopting process has come to an end after a year. It was a long time in Tony's books, a really long time, Tony wanted to finish the adopting process faster, maybe in three months or six instead of the standard twelve to eighteen months. Unfortunately, it seemed that this was something that can't be done, even with Tony being a Stark and all of that jazz; at that time, Tony was furious, he wanted Harley with him, Steve, and Peter as fast as he can't.

As time went, though, Tony became grateful for the additional time he had to straighten up his mind; the additional time gave Tony and his family a lot of time to think and bond with each other; especially he and Steve. It was true that the two of them were nearly on the same mindset and never argued that much, but the extra time for just them and Peter helped them greatly.

At first, everything was rough, especially with Harley still refusing to trust anyone that wasn't Steve or Peter; everyone was thrown back to square one, especially Betty, who didn't know what to do after Harley relapsed. Everyone thought that Harley was doing fine, the little boy stopped flinching at the sight of Omegas, he can even make a small conversation with them to some extent… no one knew that Harley was forcing himself to do that, until after Steve prompted him to talk, did everyone know.

It was a harsh blow to Tony, thinking that Harley was forcing himself to interact with him, forcing himself not to flinch every time Tony touched him or smiled at him; as much as Steve reassured him that Harley genuinely enjoyed his time with Tony, it was hard to believe it. For some reason, it really broke his heart and made him feel useless; Tony never realized how different Peter's situation was from Harley until then.

After his brief period of depression, Tony finally gathered himself enough, determent that he would do right by Harley and get to know the boy better. And finally, after starting the adopting process, Tony got his chance to bond a little by little with Harley, thanks to the weekly visits. At first, Tony felt how uncomfortable Harley was, and he beat himself for not noticing before, but as days turned to weeks, and weeks turned to months, Tony can safely say that Harley was finally feeling comfortable around him to relax and even joke around sometimes if the little boy was in the mood.

As the process came to an end, both Steve and Tony get more anxious as the days passed, wondering what Harley would think about his new home, wondering if he liked the room they prepared for him, wondering if the little boy would hate them or not feel that comfortable with them or their friends, or how their friends would react when they bring Harley home (Everyone was shocked at first, they argued and raised hell, until they realized that both Steve and Tony won't be swayed and were going through the adoption). Thankfully, the two of them managed to calm each other down before they fall down the rabbit hole with how much their thought became jumbled.

In just two weeks… two weeks, three at most, Harley was finally going to come home; Tony was excited but nervous at the same time, wondering what would happen when Harley would finally come. "Two weeks, three at most, that's what Betty, said, right?" Tony asked, letting out a sigh as he felt Steve tightening his arms around him…

In two weeks, Harley would finally be home…

"Peter! Go tidy your room!" Tony called out from the kitchen, causing Peter who was watching the TV to huff a 'No!' which made Tony twitch and narrow his eyes… it seemed that he had been giving Peter way too much freedom if he was talking back like this. Pressing his lips tightly, Tony walked out of the kitchen and stood behind Peter, crossing his arms as he saw the boy flipping through the channels with a boring look. "J.A.R.V.I.S. shut the TV," Tony ordered watching the TV shut down making Peter squeak and for his eyes too wide when he noticed Tony behind him.

"Oh… hey, Mama…" Peter laughed nervously, an innocent smile on his face while gazing at Tony with wide puppy-dog eyes, hoping that Tony would give in and let him continue wasting his time; Tony only raised his eyebrow, his lips twitching down when he saw how rumbled Peter's clothes were, they were so messy that Tony wondered if the shirt Peter was wearing was the same one that Tony spent his morning cleaning and ironing.

"Peter… what happened to your clothes?" Tony asked, leaning on the back of the couch and looking down on Peter with a mysterious smile on his face, causing Peter to shift at the sight of that smile. "You know that Grandpa Howard and Grandma Sarah are coming today don't you, sweetie?" Tony tilted his head, counting from ten to zero, any second now and Peter was going to crack, because surely, Peter would never want to be on his grandparents' bad side.

"I am going to clean my room!" Peter shouted before rushing away, leaving Tony snorting and gazing at the boy who was running up the stairs. Clint's kids are really a bad influence on Peter, before those two little devils sink their claws in Peter, the little boy always loved tidying his room and kept his clothes clean; now… now Peter was the definition of a sloppy jobless person and he wasn't even twelve. Tony just hopes that Harley won't get influenced by those troublemakers like Peter.

"Was that Peter?" Steve asked as came to the living room with slow steps, the grocery bags in his arms as he made his way slowly to Tony, who took half of the bags in Steve's hands, getting a kiss on the cheek as a thank you. Steve always had the bad habit of bringing all of the grocery bags in one trip, which was the main reason why Tony needed to be careful or the bags would end on the floor.

"Yeah, he finally decided to clean his room," Tony stated, his lips twitching up at the groan he heard Steve let out, it seemed that Steve was feeling the same as Tony was on how Peter was becoming slop. "Dad called, he is going to be here in an hour, half an hour if the meeting finished earlier; as for Ma she said she coming after swinging by your favorite cake shop," Tony explained as he started to unload the grocery, putting them in their place in the fridge and smiling when he saw Steve put the non-perishable in the cupboard.

"That's good; we still have three hours before we go to the clinic," Steve stated with a smile, causing Tony to bite his lip to contain the wide smile that wanted to break over his face. Just a few more hours, just a little more time and Harley would finally be home!

It was two weeks since Tony's heat ended, two weeks of being anxious and jittery that his father finally had enough and send him home for a month to bond with his new family member last he blew up the workshops in SI (Everyone was so grateful to have anxious Tony out of the labs, that they begged Howard to make it two months. As if Tony was going to let them ruin his projects!) two weeks of him and Steve doing every last minute thing they possibly forgot and completing Harley's room with a few more touches here and there, not knowing what a twelve years old would like.

Two weeks and finally, Betty called Tony telling him that they can come and get Harley any time they liked, causing Tony to bite his lips and thank her, before closing the phone and squeal in delight at the thought of Harley finally being home; everyone was excited, especially Peter (Before getting bored about having to wait more time before Harley come home) now, they just have to wait for Sarah and Howard before they are sit.

"Yeah, thankfully, everything sits, and Peter is finally cleaning his room so this is a plus. Oh! I already asked Bucky to buy some blueberry muffins in case the cakes Sarah brought aren't enough and-" Tony didn't manage to finish his nervous rambling, for Steve stood behind him and pulled him into his chest, holding him tightly.

"It is OK, sweetheart, I got you," Steve whispered in Tony's ear, causing him to calm down and let out a sigh, leaning on Steve's chest and being grateful that his husband didn't point out how jittery and nervous Tony was becoming as he started to think that they missed something.

In and out, Tony took a few more breaths to calm down, leaning on Steve's chest and taking his mate's scent further helping his fried nerves to calm. "Thank you," Tony whispered pulling out of Steve's embrace to kiss his cheek, smiling a little as Steve's beard tickled his lips, chuckling softly when Steve nuzzled his cheeks before taking Tony's lips in a kiss, silencing his chuckles.

"Mama, Papa! Grandpa is here!" Peter's loud voice broke Tony and Steve from their moment, causing them to pull away with flushed cheeks to gaze at Peter who was scrunching his nose as he gazed at them. "Grandpa is here, and I cleaned my room!" Peter stated before he turned around, causing Tony to shake his head and chuckle, trying to stop his laughter when he heard Steve grumble about cheeky brats.

The next two hours passed quickly, they were the fastest but at the same time, they were the slowest two hours of Tony's life. Sarah and Howard arrived at their home, Howard an hour before Sarah; both of them were excited and nervous at the same time. At first, when Tony told his father about the adoption, his father had looked confused, he looked like he wanted to open his mouth and argue with Tony about it being too much, about Tony already having a step-son so there is no need for another; Tony saw many emotions in his father eyes, emotions that made Tony fidget in his place and wait for his father to start speaking. In the end, Howard ended up sighing and looking at Tony, only asking him one question, 'Is that what you want?' Tony couldn't help but smile every time he remembered that day. Steve was the one who talked with Sarah, and when Tony saw his husband that night, the tired look on his Alpha's face told Tony how Steve gets chewed and spite out by Sarah for having a 'Hero-complex' and dragging his family down like that; it took a few months for Sarah to calm down and listen to Steve and Tony's reasoning of why they wanted to adopt Harley. The rest of their friends followed later, finally deciding to accept Steve and Tony's decision, even if it somehow seemed a little on the rushed side if you asked any of them.

"You look nervous," Howard stated beside Tony, helping him cut the potatoes for tonight's dinner; his father's words made Tony pause in his place before fidgeting and continuing to steer the stew. "Steve told me that everything was going alright, so you don't need to worry, you know that, right?" Howard stated, his words causing Tony to sigh and nod his head.

"I know that but… what if Harley hates me?" Tony asked, shifting in his place before looking up at his father who already finished cutting and washing the potatoes cubes. "I mean, he spent a whole year pretending that he was OK and forcing himself to interact with people, what if he was forcing himself once more to agree with us just because he felt like he can't refuse?" Tony wondered out loud, pouting when he saw his father smiling gently.

"He looks like someone you know, doesn't he?" Howard teased causing Tony to pout and send his father an annoying glare, which only gained a chuckle from the older man as he went to check the garlic bread in the oven. "Tony, I can already see how an amazing life that kid is going to have; the four of you have been bonding for over a year now, and Steve told me that Harley adores you, everything is going to be fine." Howard smiled, causing Tony to hum and lower his head, his lips twitching up in a smile despite himself.

"If you say so…" Tony mumbled, returning to the stew, ignoring how his father starts humming happily like he was pleased with himself, and he should be, he managed to calm Tony down from burning the food. "Well, the stew is nearly done…" Tony hummed only to freeze when he heard the front door opening informing Tony that Steve was back with Harley.

"We are home!" Steve called out, causing Tony to scramble to the front door, leaving his father in the kitchen as he rushed to where Steve and no doubt Harley was waiting for them. Tony should have gone with Steve, he really should have, but both Steve and Sarah agreed that Tony was too nervous and jittery to be going with Steve, so it ended with Steve and Sarah bringing Harley and Tony to prepare dinner with his father for their family.

"Welcome home!" Tony smiled as he said those words, his smile widening when he saw Harley holding one of Steve's hands as he gazed around the house with wide eyes, taking everything in; this would be the first time that Harley visit their home, for usually many of their interaction with the kid would take place either in the orphanage, the clinic or in public places with one of Harley's caretaker. "Hey, Harley…" Tony smiled as he leaned down in front of the boy, getting a shy wave and a small smile. "Are you ready to meet your new family?" Tony asked, smiling when he felt Peter running down the stairs, no doubt getting scold by Sarah for running inside the house.

Harley seemed to pause at Tony's words, shifting in his place before nodding his head, a blush taking over his face causing Tony to chuckle and offer his hand to Harley, waiting until the boy gathered himself enough before taking Tony's hand, walking beside Tony when the Omega went to introduce him to Howard, who finally get out of the kitchen only to pause when his eyes fell on Harley.

"You already met Grandma Sarah." Harley nodded when he heard Sarah's name, clutching Tony's hand tightly when they reached Howard who was gazing at the boy with furrowed brows. "Well, this is my Dad, your Grandpa, Dad, this is Harley." Tony smiled as he introduced the two of them, his smile widening when Howard kneeled and shook Harley's hand.

"Nice to meet you, Harley…" Howard smiled as he said those words causing the little boy to give a fleeting smile before letting go of his hand, and that was only because he nearly got run over by Peter who pulled him into a tight hug and squealed happily that his friend was coming to live with them…

Needless to say, Harley's first day home was interesting…

Living with Harley was fun in a way, but so stressful at times; mainly because Harley looked like he was going to bolt if given a chance. Most if not all of the times Harley was full of nervous energy as he gazed around the place, like he was going to be eaten alive any second or that he was going to be punished. Steve and Tony both knew how hard it was on Harley, so the two of them tried to be as understanding as they can be when it comes to the little boy, they both put Harley's nervousness and jitteriness to the boy not having a good family and foster home before, so they tried to become as open-minded as they can.

At least Steve was making a notable process with Harley, which Tony was thankful about even if he was a little bit jealous at times. but after three months of Harley living with them, Tony can safely say that the boy started to warm up to everyone, and by everyone Tony mean himself mainly, then his and Steve friends' and extended family, which was a process if Tony saw any.

"Do you need to go?" Tony whine, a pout on his face as he helped his husband fold a few comforting clothes to put in his travel bag, as much as Tony wanted his husband to stay, he knew that his husband needs to go to DC, something about a new superhero character he had been working on for months now and finally finishing the draft for the first comic issue; still, it didn't stop Tony from acting like a child, mainly because he doesn't know what he was going to do if Steve left, or how Harley was going to act like when seeing his safety blanket leave him.

"I am really sorry sweetheart." Steve apologized once more before leaning down and kissing Tony's cheek, causing Tony to sigh and shake his head, but returned to fold the clothes, trying to stop his lips from twitching up when he saw Steve rush all around the room trying to find if he forgets something or not.

After they finished packing, Tony stood with Steve outside, waiting for Bucky to start the car and drive Steve to the airport, it would have been a swift exit for Steve if Harley and Peter didn't choose that time to return from Clint's house and pester Steve about where he was going and what he should buy them… well, it was Peter who was pestering poor Steve and jumping all over the place, Harley was just shifting and looking at the ground like Steve kicked his puppy. That was the scenario that both Tony and Steve tried to avoid, well, it was Steve who tried to avoid that scenario, mainly because how Peter was becoming more demanding when he sees one of them about to leave for a small amount of time, at least Steve was going to return next week so Peter didn't kick a strong fuss about the matter.

"OK, kids, wave goodbye now," Tony called out, waving to Steve with a smile, feeling a little sad when his husband was out of his sight; looking at the children, Tony tilted his head when he saw the gloomy look on their faces, causing Tony to hum and look around the place trying to think of how to cheer them up. "What do you say about having a movie night? It is the weekend so you two don't have anything tomorrow, we can even build a pillow fort if you want!" Tony clapped his hands with a smile, internally sighing in relief when Peter started cheering up and dragging Harley inside, informing Tony he was safe for the next few hours.

A few hours later Tony couldn't help but chuckle at the laughter he heard coming from the living room, the kids were having the time of their lives it seemed, especially with all the movies Peter was trying to make Harley watch, 'To get him up to date' or something of that sort; thankfully the two of them were angels as soon as they finished their pillow fort and had their snacks, leaving Tony to finish his work before starting to prepare dinner. Burger steak as the kids demanded.

It was after finishing dinner that he heard it, the squeak followed by the sound of breaking glass, making Tony freeze for a second before rushing out of the kitchen to see what was going on, hoping that Peter and Harley were OK and that nothing bad happened. Reaching the living room, Tony relax when he saw that the kids were fine, but what made him tense once more was the way Harley holding himself; shaking in his place on the verge of tears, looking down, Tony discovered the reason to be the glass of water that was smashed not a that far away from Harley.

"Oh, God, are you hurt?" Tony panic when he saw the tears sliding down Harley's face as he starts muttering 'Sorry' over and over again, causing Tony to stiffen a gasp and rush toward the boy, thinking that the boy hurt himself by stepping on the shared of the glass lettering the ground. "Harley, baby, tell me what's wrong?" Tony whispered his picking the boy up and put him on the couch checking for injuries and being grateful when he found none.

"It's my fault, Mama…" Peter who was standing quietly this whole time finally spoke, causing Tony to turn toward the boy who was looking at the ground with trembling lips. "Harley was drinking some water and I pumped into him and then… and then the glass broke and I… I am sorry…" Peter said, tears finally sliding down his face, causing Tony to sigh and wonder what he was going to do… Peter was obviously lying about pumping into Harley, considering that he was far away from the boy, and Harley on the other hand no doubt was terrified of what Tony would do if he knew he accidentally broke the glass… if only Steve was here, he would have known how to salvage the situation.

"It's OK, sweetheart, come here." Tony smiled as he opened his arms, which caused Peter to sob and rushed toward him, hugging Tony tightly as he shook. "Harley, you too…" Tony gazed at Harley offering one of his arms to the boy as he waited for him; finally after what seemed like forever, Harley slide down the couch and into Tony's arms holding tightly as he let out small sobs. "It's OK, nothing bad happened, it's just a glass of water; I am just glad that none of you are hurt," Tony reassured the kids, kissing the top of their heads as he let out his calming pheromones, humming gently to the boys until both of them calmed down. "Now that you two calmed down, why don't you go and wash your faces, I will come and serve dinner after I clean the glass, OK?" Tony asked, getting a nod from both Harley and Peter as the two of them let go and went to do as ordered.

Dinner after that was a quiet affair; both Harley and Peter seemed to drain from crying to start any conversation, causing Tony to think of ways to cheer them up tomorrow. It was only when the boys went to sleep that Tony finally managed to relax a little and go to his room, wondering if Steve would manage to help him solve this problem.

"I don't know what to do about this situation, Steve, it is hell, and I am afraid that I made everything worse, do you think I made everything worse? I don't know, Peter refuses to tell the truth and Harley is terrified that I would probably hit him or something just as bad as that… I knew you going to DC was a bad idea!" Tony whined ignoring the hum Steve let out from the other end of the phone.

"I am sure everything is going to be fine love, Harley would come around just give him time. This is the first time Harley is left alone with an Omega since… well I don't know since when… but I am sure everything is going to be fine at the end, you always solve the problem when it present to you before."

Steve's words made Tony pout a little, and then he starts biting his lower lip as he starts thinking of ways to right what happened a few hours ago. "But Steve! This is not a math problem I can solve in a few seconds and be done with; this is Harley we are talking about…" Whatever complaint Tony wanted to say was cut by the door of his room being knocked on, making Tony sigh as he stood up from his bed. "I got to go, the kids came knocking, probably Peter, do you want to say goodnight?" Tony asked, shaking his head with a smile when he heard Fury's voice yelling in the background, probably slaving Steve and dragging him around.

"Sorry, sweetheart, I can't; kiss Peter and Harley goodnight from me though, and tell them I will bring them a lot of presents when I come back, talk to you later, love you."

"Love you too." Tony smiled as he went to the door, clicking his phone shut as he opened the door. "Yes… Harley?" Tony asked in surprise wondering why Harley was here when Tony was so sure the little boy will take it as his mission to avoid Tony after what happened earlier that night. "Do you need something, sweetie? Is it nightmares?" Tony asked gently as he leaned down to look at Harley, wondering why the boy was shaking all over, was it really a nightmare, or was it something else.

"I am sorry!" Harley suddenly shouted startling Tony and causing his eyes to widen when he saw the tears starting to run down Harley's face. "I am sorry, I was the one who broke the glass; Peter didn't pump into me he just said it to protect me; I tripped, and I… I am sorry, please, don't punish Peter, he didn't mean to lie." Harley trembled as he starts babbling, saying 'Sorry' and that it was his fault, causing Tony's heart to break and curse whoever caused Harley to turn out like this, feeling scared at the notion of a broken glass that Tony can buy a million of easily.

"Sweetie, don't cry, love, don't cry, I knew about that, please don't cry." Tony cooed pulling Harley into his embrace, kissing his head, and rocking him until he calmed down, wondering if he can do anything to make his baby stop crying. "It's just a glass baby, I would never punish you, especially for something as stupid as this, so don't cry, sweetie." Tony kept whispering reassuring words into Harley's ears, holding the boy tightly in his arms and letting his calming scent out, hoping that Harley would calm down; it took time but in the end, Harley finally calmed down, leaning tiredly on Tony as he tried to stifle his yawns but failing. "Sleepy?" Tony asked, getting a small nod from Harley who let out another yawn and clutched Tony's shirt tightly in his hands, causing the Omega to smile at that. "Why don't you sleep here with me tonight?" Tony asked, causing Harley to look up at him and blink before looking down, causing Tony to think that he messed up a big-time until he heard the small 'Can I?' making Tony's heart melt at the cute sight. "Of course, sweetie," Tony smiled as he stood up, leading Harley toward the bed letting out his comforting scent as he saw Harley get more comfortable in the bed, before getting under the sheets with him.

It was a little awkward the first few minutes, Tony admits that sleeping near Harley was not like sleeping near Peter who was a starfish when he sleeps, hands and legs all over the place causing Steve and him to shift near the edge and sometimes fall from the bed; Harley, on the other hand, he holds himself in a fetal position, trying to make himself as small as he can, which made Tony's heart give a sad pang at that.

"Goodnight, sweetie…" Tony whispered as he tried to get comfortable, thrusting his face into Steve's pillow, hoping that his mate's calming scent would calm him down; Tony promised to give Fury hell when Steve come back; just before Tony finally falls asleep, he heard a small whisper of 'Goodnight' coming from Harley, causing a wide smile to take over his face…

This was the best sleep Tony had in a while…

It all started after Tony woke up the next day with both Peter and Harley sleeping in his arms, holding him tightly as their sleepy mumble reaching his ears; causing Tony to purr unconsciously and nuzzled his babies until they woke up and get ready to face the day. Ever since that day with the broken glass incident, Tony can proudly say that Harley was finally opening up to him like the Omega always wished he would, making Tony overjoy at the thought of the pup finally accepting him and feeling safe around him to joke and laugh and play without fear of something bad happening.

The days after that night was spent calmly and as happily as Tony and the kids can spend them. Mornings were spent home with Tony waking up the little devils for breakfast; that always ended up with groans and whines and pleas of 'Five more minutes!' (Peter) and quietly slide from the bed and shuffling like the dead until washing their faces (Harley) after breakfast, Tony usually get busy dressing up and making sure he was presentable for work before hustling both Harley and Peter to the car to drive them to school (After making sure that they have their lunch boxes and are presentable for school)

Because of Steve not being with him, Tony had to work, half the working hours before rushing to school to pick the kids up; no one speaks or complain about Tony being absent from work most of the time, not when he managed to invent such breakthrough products from his workshop at home, with that Tony felt safe to clock out anytime he wants (Reasonably though)

After returning home, Tony would usually prepare snacks for the kids as they changed and get ready to do their homework; after making sure the kids were set and that they don't need him for at least an hour or more, Tony would get to work in his workshop, trying to finish what he couldn't do in SI.

This would continue until Tony finished his work and go to prepare dinner, or until the kids come knocking on the workshop's door, wanting to be let in, either snoop and play (Again, Peter) or to learn and ask many questions that Tony was happy to answer (Harley, which seemed to be a little genius in the making) it's only after dinner that everyone finally calms down, either playing or watching movies before Steve finally call them, which the four of them would spend the next half hour talking with Steve and telling each other about their day. Their days always ended with Steve telling them 'Goodnight' and the kids yawing and preparing for bed.

Tony admit that it was fun, he was happy, overjoyed with how his babies opened up to him; this trip Steve took, proved to Tony that he can and he would take care of both Peter and Harley if the need arise or if Steve was too busy to be available. Considering that today was the start of the weekends, Tony was trying to think of a fun activity to do with the kids who were playing at Clint's house.

There were many options Tony was considering, ranging from taking them to the park to inviting Howard for dinner (If he didn't go to Malibu to work) to taking them to eat out; sadly, all the options made Tony pout because he was sure that Peter would try and invite the whole neighborhood if they decided to go on a picnic… where is Steve when you need him?

Tony hummed to himself as he started preparing the picnic basket, promising himself that Tony and the kids could have their picnic in the backyard if needed. Tony hummed as he wondered about the kind of treats the kids would love to eat, thinking excitedly about tomorrow and how Steve would return home either tomorrow or the day after that. Tony was sure that when Steve returns home, the four of them would probably go and do something fun, considering that Steve had the uncanny ability to cheer the kids no matter what activity they choose to do.

The sound of the doorbell caused Tony to blink, wondering who the person on the other side was; considering most of his friends would just barge in and make themselves at home after complaining about their day. Wiping his hands Tony looked around to see that he nearly finished the sandwiches, causing him to hum and walk to the door, trying to think about who was knocking on his door, was it Bucky forgetting about his keys and running from Winnie once more? Tony lost count on how many times Bucky escaped from his home after Winnie started pestering him about having kids and marrying Natasha.

"So, what did Winnie do this…" Tony's words trailed when he opened the door, furrowing his eyebrow when he saw a strange woman standing on the other side of the door. The woman was familiar in a way that made Tony furrow his eyebrows, wondering where he saw the woman before. "Can I help you, Ma'am?" Tony asked when he saw the woman frown and a scowl nearly took over her face, causing Tony to tense.

"Yes, is Steven Rogers here?" The woman asked, trying to look behind Tony to the inside of the house, causing Tony to bristle and get outside closing the door behind him to stop the woman from snooping any further which did nothing but causing the woman to scowl harshly.

"I said can I help you, Ma'am?" Tony scowled as he gazed at the woman, daring her to do something or even say anything that Tony didn't ask of her, how dare she act like this? Scowling and ordering him around as if he was a maid in his own home.

The woman scrunched her nose and huffed, gazing at Tony up and down before looking him in the eyes. "My name is Peggy Rogers, Steven's wife, I came to see him and our child; I would ask once more, is Steven home?" The woman… Peggy, stated, causing Tony to pause and blink his eyes, only for a deep scowl to take over his face when her words made sense to his shocked brain. Her husband and child? Is she real? She is talking about his husband like the man didn't leave her for abusing Peter and acting like everything is alright!

"No, Miss Carter, my husband is not home at this moment, and you shouldn't be here either, especially with you having a restraining order against you," Tony stated as he crossed his arms over his chest, glaring at the woman whose eyes widen and a dark look taking over her face in the following seconds.

"What?" Peggy hissed, both of her hands clenching tightly over her handbag, looking like she is ready to murder anyone standing in her way, which was Tony at the moment, Tony who was glaring at Peggy with the power of a thousand suns and daring her to do something. "What is the meaning of this?!" Shouted Peggy, no doubt her voice is heard all around the quiet neighborhood.

"Miss Carter, I would ask you nicely to remove yourself from my property, I would also ask you not to try and contact either my husband and child unless it's through your sister and that's only after many doctors and specialists confirm your mental state; any violation to my humble request and I will notify the police immediately," Tony answered in a detached manner, trying to ignore the raging pheromones the angry Omega was letting out as she was gazing at Tony like she is planning on killing him on the spot; Tony had to stay calm, he needed to stay calm, for Steve and Peter… but saying this is easier than done, especially when Tony was feeling unbalance, threatened, and in need of his Alpha who was miles and miles away from home and is not scheduled to come home today.

Whatever Peggy Carter wanted to say next was cut off by the sound of small footsteps running toward them, causing Tony to tense at the thought of Peter and Harley returning; Tony doesn't know what Peter's reaction to seeing his biological mother would be like, but Tony hoped to avoid a relapse after all these years of Peter doing fine. "Tony…" Harley's voice made Tony turn fast to the boy, fearing that Peter was with him, when he saw that Peter wasn't here, Tony couldn't help but relax a little bit, ignoring the fuming woman beside him. "Come on, we need to go…" Harley said causing Tony's eyebrows to furrow when Harley stood beside Tony trying to pull him toward Clint's house.

It was only when Tony caught the cautions looks Harley was sending to Peggy Carter that he realized Harley was trying to 'Save' him from this situation that he no doubt saw from the window of the living room; the action was so sweet and protective that it made Tony's heart race a little bit. "It's OK, bambino; everything is fine. Why don't you go inside and distracts your brother for me, hmmm?" Tony asked in a low voice, causing Harley to look between Tony and Peggy with a hesitant look, making Tony bite the inside of his cheek wondering what to do.

"I… I will… I will go and call Mr. Clint…" Harley said as he looked between the two adults before starting to run, leaving Tony sighing as he turned once again to Peggy, who look even murderous than she was a few seconds ago, which informed Tony that Harley's interruption put a wrench in whatever plan she had in mind.

"Listen here, you home-wrecking bitch!" As soon as Harley reached Clint's house, Peggy started to shout, causing Tony to suppress a sigh as the woman finally decided to show her true colors. "Who do you think you are to prevent me from seeing my husband and child?! You are nothing but a homewrecker who dares to come between me and my husband! How dare you tell me what to do?!" Peggy started to scream in Tony's face, walking until she trapped him between her and the door, causing an irrational speaks of panic to take over Tony before he harshly shoved it down and pushed the other Omega away from him.

"Ma'am, you have five goddammit seconds to leave my fucking property or I am calling the police!" Tony shouted, he couldn't believe that he was actually dealing with Peggy Carter now of all the times, where the fuck was that woman in the past four years? Why now of all time to make an appearance and when Steve was absent too? Was she planning on taking Peter away when Steve wasn't here? Doesn't she know that she is forbidden from being on Peter and Steve's side because of the restraining order? Where was Steve?

'Why you…' Peggy could only hiss those words as she clenched her fists ready to hit Tony, but she was stopped by the scent of an angry Omega… a very angry Omega that was coming from Clint who was marching toward Peggy with a gun in his hand… really? What the hell is going on here?! "What are you doing here, Carter? You know that you are not welcomed around these parts anymore." Clint hissed, raising his gun, which caused Tony to flinch and try desperately to stop himself from raising his hands in surrender.

Peggy on the other hand just sneered and pulled away from Tony, straightening her dress and gazing at Clint with distaste. "Mr. Coulson, I see that you are as hotheaded as ever; glad to see that not everything changed around here," Peggy stated with narrowed eyes, causing Clint to growl and cocks the safety of the gun, which made Tony's stress level rise uncontrollably; there were children around for God's sake! What if something happened and the gun fired on its own?

"The police are already on their way, and I would really love to see you trying to get away with explaining to Natasha why you are here when you shouldn't," Clint started with narrow eyes, causing Peggy to huff and raised her head high before turning around and walking away.

It was only when Peggy was far away from their homes that Tony finally lost it, turning to Clint with wide eyes and in a hysterical voice he shouted. "A fucking gun, Clint, really?! What if something happened and one of the kids get hurt?!" Tony couldn't help but breathe shakily, trying to calm his nerves as he tried not to waver when he saw Clint wince and give him a sheepish look.

"Sorry, man, but this is the only way for her to leave you alone, if I didn't then God knows what that psycho would have done," Clint stated, causing Tony's eyes to widen even more and for his stress to raise off the chart; a part of Tony was terrified of what Peggy would have done if Clint didn't arrive on time or if she had spotted Peter and Harley without anyone seeing her… just who the hell was Peggy Carter, that Clint thought bringing out the guns was the best way to drive her away? "Dude, are you alright, you are turning white!" Clint said in alarm walking to Tony who seemed to be swaying on his feet. Tony could only give a dumb 'Huh?' before everything turned dark and his legs gave up on him, causing Clint to shout and rush to catch him before he fell on his face.

The last thing he heard was Peter and Harley's panicked voices…

What do you think?

Well, I think that I botched this chapter but I don't know anymore, I hope that it was at least good or something; I don't fancy writing this chapter for the sixth time.

Anyways! A little bit of information on the timeline of this story to help anyone if they got confused; like me when I wrote this chapter.

Harley's age is twelve, while Peter is ten and a half in this story. Tony is in his early thirties while Steve is in his early forties.

Steve and Tony knew each other for nearly five years, dated for two years, and married for a year.

This is just to help anyone who is confused about everyone's ages and the timeline.
