Author's Note This fic follows Percy as an Avenger. There is a legitimate reason as to why he catches the eye of Nick Fury and why he agrees to become an Avenger.
The invasion of New York by the Chitauri happens three years after the line in the Prologue is uttered.
I'll try to explore the themes of grief, loss, family, trust, duty and security in this fic.
There are many players in this story. Many pieces are pawns, but for once, the Olympians are not pulling them.

Prologue: Banishment
