"So what do you wanna do?" I asked him.

"Ah, let's just run. Even if he does find us, he's tiny. I can just zap him with my electricity. It's probably best if you don't even use your power. It might look bad if you melt the principal."

"I know, right?" I grinned, visions of camp dancing in my head.

A loud noise - like falling debris - caught our attention.

"What's - "

Before we could really react, the smokestack behind us toppled and fell over. If we hadn't moved at the last minute, we'd have both been crushed.

Debris continued to fall as we ran for it, barely escaping with our lives more than once.

"Kaminari, what the crap is going on?!" I cried, helplessly dodging.

"I don't know but it's bad for us!" he replied, barely avoiding a falling pipe. "I've got a feeling our opponent is behind it!"

Our way out was blocked, every way we turned, by fallen debris. No sign of a path to the escape gate.

"No way," moaned Kaminari.

A shadow passed over our heads; we looked up and once again barely avoided death by falling pipes!

"Kaminari, can't you just blast him or something?" I cried.

"I can't go wasting any shots! Or do you want a useless lump for a partner?!" he replied, looking panicky.

Desperate, I burned through the wall of a nearby room. "Kaminari, this way!" I called to him. We dodged inside to take shelter.

"We'll end up taking a detour," he murmured, pointing to the ceiling, "but if we make it to the other side of the escape gate - "

The roof crashed open as he spoke. We were trapped and no matter what we did - there was no escaping.

And then - the worst thing that could possibly have happened - (or so we thought at the time) -

"TEAM ASHIDO AND KAMINARI HAVE FAILED DUE TO THE TIME EXPIRING".

Complete - and total - failure.
