It's my birthday, so I posted a thing. It's unrelated to the other thing I've worked on for, like, ten years, at this point, so I am sad about that. But my goal as of this birthday is to write more, so perhaps one day... I will finish everything.

it's been a long while, fanfiction community. It's scary how time has flown. I feel like I put A World Without You down for just a second, and when I turned back to work on it again, two years have passed! I will say that for anyone who's still following, I'll be making some updates to the story as I've gotten to a place in my life where I can write again.

Hello! I'm back again. And just in time for my annual update. Hah.

I can say without exaggeration that it has been awhile since I’ve forayed into the fanfiction world, as you might be able to tell by the vast difference between my publication dates and my updates. Blah.

I can't promise that I won't disappear again, but I just want to say that, while I'm not sure how reassuring this is, I will finish A World Without You. It's a story, probably the only one, that I have a very clear vision for the middles and ending. It's been very near and dear to my heart, and I never forget about it, even when I'm absent from the fanfiction world. So, for those who have the patience and the tenacity, I promise it will finish.

A bit of a late update.

For whatever reason, over the last couple of years, fanfiction fell off the face of the planet for me. Perhaps it was a product of entering my senior year of college and graduating, but I just couldn't find the time to sit down and read it. This, also coupled with the fact that my computer and backup drives crashed taking everything I had written of A World Without You with it, served to turn me off for awhile.

Well, I guess you can thank "Bleach" and "The Artemis Fowl" series for instilling a need to read fanfiction because I'm seriously considering starting again...

Let's see how much of an audience I have left. =)

Oh, it's time for that bi-annual update of mine, which is sadly and very quickly becoming my once-a-year post. Ah well. Just know that yes, A World Without You will eventually be finished. Someday.

More ramblings, musings, and writings of LWV here... Nothing exciting yet, but I'll probably have snippets of WWY and others soon...and I really do mean that since it's less of a commitment.

I chose the name 'Lovely White Violets' because those flowers mean 'taking a chance at happiness', and that's what I usually want my characters to do.

I've been a reader on fanfiction.net since it was started (I even remember when the Digimon section had less than 1000 stories, yikes!), and now that I have some free time this summer, I've summoned up the courage to write for the website.

For the most part, the two favorite genres I like to mix are the romantic and action/adventure ones, but I'm also a sucker for fluff and certain angst stories. For the most part, I think I like canon couples, but I've been known to deviate.
