Hiccup had been doing some work on his suit when Astrid entered the lab with Pepper. It had been three weeks since he and Astrid started dating. The amount of teasing they receive from both Astrid's parents and Pepper is enough to make the young couple die out of embarrassment, but they soon get used to it. A few days ago Pepper had walked in while Hiccup was working on his armour and found out about his secret. During these three weeks he had also taken down multiple other Outcast territories. But during all these missions he had noticed something. Somehow the Outcasts always had weapons and equipment made at Haddock industries. Believing something is wrong, Hiccup had done some digging and found that there had been some deals which were done by Drago with some unknown partie. Also the records of those deals were removed from the Haddock industries server.

"You wanted to meet me, Hiccup?" Pepper asked as she stood behind him.

Hiccup stopped his work and turned around to look at her.

"Yeah. I need you to do something for me." Hiccup said.

Astrid raised an eyebrow at this statement while Pepper looked confused.

"Okay. What is it?" Pepper asked.

"I have done some digging and I found out that Drago has done some deals with some unknown partie. He's upto something and I need to know what." Hiccup said as he walked over to a table and picked up a pendrive "This is a hacking program. I need you to go to my office. You're going to hack into the mainframe and you're going to retrieve all the info on recent shipping manifests. It's probably under Executive Files. If not, they put it on a ghost drive, in which case you need to look for the lowest numeric heading."

Hiccup handed Pepper the pendrive and went back to working on the suit.

"And what do you plan to do with

this information if I bring it back here?" Pepper blankly asked.

"Same drill. They've been dealing under the table, and I'm going to stop them. I'm going to find my weapons and destroy them." Hiccup nonchalantly said.

"Hiccup, you know that I would help you with anything, but I cannot help you if you're going to start all of this again." Pepper said.

"There is nothing except this. There's no art opening. There is no benefit. There is nothing to sign. There is the next mission

and nothing else." Hiccup said, sounding a little angry at the last part.

"Is that so? Well, then, I quit." Pepper Suddenly said.

Astrid was silently watching the interaction. She didn't dare to say anything.

"You stood by my side all these years, while I reaped the benefits of destruction. And now that I'm trying to protect the people that I put in harm's way, you're going to walk out?" Hiccup asked, refusing to look at her.

"You're going to kill yourself, Hiccup. I'm not going to be a part of it." Pepper said, trying to hold back her tears.

"I shouldn't be alive." Hiccup said.

Pepper and Astrid looked at him in shock as he continued.

"unless it was for a reason." Hiccup turned to face Pepper "I'm not crazy, Pepper. I just finally know what I have to do. And I know in my heart that it's right."

Pepper turned away and proceeded to leave but stopped in midway.

"You're one of very few people I care about, you know. I even at time saw you as my younger brother." Pepper said, glancing at Hiccup.

"You're like a big sister to me Pepper, so please help me through this." Hiccup told her.

"I will." Pepper said and sniffed and left the lab.

Hiccup turned around and looked at Astrid who was looking at him with moist eyes.

"What happened to you?" Hiccup asked.

"Nothing." Astrid said as she wiped a tear.

She then walked over to Hiccup and tightly hugged him and Hiccup hugged her back.

(At Haddock industries)

Pepper walked inside Hiccup's office. It was lunch hour and most of the employees were either outside or at the cafeteria. She was nervous as she went over to the desk and sat on the chair. Ever since the board members injuncted Hiccup to under a lock out, Drago had been using Hiccup's office.

The laptop was already on, showing a picture of a Nightfury Dragon on the lockscreen. Without wasting any more time she plugged in the pendrive in the laptop. In a few seconds the hacking was done and it was unlocked. She then began searching through the files and soon found a ghost file.

"What do we have here?" Pepper mumbled as she checked the file while it was being copied and downloaded into the pendrive.

Most of the files in there were designs of missiles, anti-aircraft weapons, and other weapons like that. But one file was special. It was labelled "Sector 16".

"Sector 16? What are you up to, Drago?" Pepper mumbled as she opened the file.

The file contained blueprints and designs of a huge mech. It had some similarities with Hiccup's own suit. Pepper lightly gasped as she saw the designs. Then she checked the last file and it only contained a video. Out of curiosity, she played the video.

In the video

It showed a semiconscious Hiccup sitting on a tool. He had his hands tied behind his back and rope tied around his body and arms. There were six terrorist standing behind him, holding AK-47 rifles in their hand. One of them had his gun aimed at Hiccup's head."You did not tell us that the target youpaid us to kill, is the great Hiccup Haddock." Someone said in eastern Asian accent.As you can see, Drago Bludvist... your deception and lies will cost you dearly. The price to kill Hiccup Haddock has just gone up."

Pepper had her right hand over her mouth. She couldn't believe that the person who had been almost like a godfather to Hiccup wanted to kill him.

"So, what are we going to do about this?" Someone said, scaring Pepper a bit.

Pepper looked up and saw Drago standing at the door and looking at her. He entered the room and walked over to the bar and picked up a bottle of whiskey and a glass.

"I know what you're going through, Pepper." Drago said as he poured himself a drink.

He raised the glass to his nose and took a sniff.

"Hiccup. He always gets the good stuff, doesn't he?" Drago said.

Pepper just smilled and nodded while stealing a glance at the computer screen to see how much of the data has been downloaded. She hid the pendrive with a news paper, which was lying on the table, while Drago was distracted. Then she saw Drago walking towards her. Pepper quickly turned on the lockscreen, hidding what really is going on. When Drago came close to her he just saw the picture of the Nightfury in the lockscreen.

"I was so happy when he came home." Drago said and walked over the other side of Pepper and sat on the table "It was like we got him back from the dead." Drago took a sip from his drink "Now I realise, well, Hiccup never really did come home, did he? He left a part of himself in that cave."

Drago walked over to the glass wall behind Pepper which gave a good view of the inside part of the building and took another sip.

"Breaks my heart. Well, he's a complicated person. He's been through a lot. I think he'll be alright." Drago said while looking out.

Pepper was feeling extremely nervous. She knew she had to get out of here as soon as possible. But she couldn't leave the pendrive back either. She had to wait until the files are completely downloaded.

"You are a very rare woman. I have heard about your engagement with Tony. I wish you have a happy life with him." Drago said witha slight smile.

"Thank you. Thanks." Pepper said.

She grabbed the news paper and the pendrive under it. She was taking a huge risk by unplugging the pendrive without checking if the download is complete, but it was the only choice left. She pulled out the pendrive and kept it hidden under the news paper as she proceeded to leave.

"I'd better get back there." Pepper said and proceeded to leave.

"Is that today's paper?" Drago asked as he noticed the news paper in her hands.

"Yes." Pepper saud, trying not to sound scared.

"Do you mind?" Drago said extending his hand as he walked over to Pepper.

"Not at all." Pepper immediately said, handing him the news paper.

"Puzzle." Drago said showing her the paper.

"Of course." Pepper said and left.

"Take care." Drago said behind her.

He then walked over to the laptop and unlocked it. And the first thing he saw was the notification saying "Download is complete". Drago at first was shocked but then quickly realised what happened and ran out of the office to the corridor but didn't saw anyone there. He ran back inside the office and walked over to the glass wall and looked down at the ground floor. There he saw Pepper on her way out of the building.

On the ground floor, Pepper was walking towards the exit of the building.

"Ms. Potts?" Someone called her.

She stopped and looked at her left and saw Agent Eretson sitting on a bench.

"We had an appointment. Did you forget about our appointment?" He asked.

Pepper was confused at first but then realised Hiccup must have forgot to inform her about making an appointment.

"Nope, right now. Come with me." Pepper said.

"Hey Pepper." Someone else call her.

She looked at the direction from where the voice came and saw Astrid standing there.

"Astrid?" Pepper said in shock.

"I came in case if you needed any help." Astrid said.

"Well right now I do need help. Come with us." She said.

"Right now?" Astrid asked.

"Yeah. We're going to need all the help we can get right now." Pepper said.

"Okay." Astrid said.

"Okay, walk with me." Pepper said and lead Astrid and Agent Eretson out of the building.
