When his middle brother is Reaped along with the love of his life in the 74th annual Hunger Games, Peeta Mellark makes a promise. One year later he is still struggling to fulfill the last request his brother made before he was killed. It's simple really, all Peeta has to do is talk to a girl. The only problem is that girl is Katniss Everdeen, victor and cold blooded murderer.
