Maureen stormed out of the hospital, she headed over to the police station. She went to Finn and demanded that she see her mother. "I want to see her now!"
"Maureen, are you sure that is a good idea? You seem that you are pretty upset. Maybe take some time and cool down before you go in and see her." Finn tried to clam her down a bit.
"No! Finn I need to see her now! I need answers from her.!" She was fuming.
Cragen stepped out of his office. "What is the issue out here? Oh Maureen, what brings you here?"
"My damn mother, but your detective here will not let me see her." She glared over at Finn.
Cragen nodded at him. "Can you show her to her mother, please."
Finn nodded at him. "For sure Captain." He took her to the cell where her mother was.
Cragen went back to his office and he called Elliot. "Hey, El. Just a heads up, Maureen is here and she caused a big scene because she wanted to see her mother." Elliot sighed, Liv looked at him. "What is up?" She asked worried.
"Thank you Don, I will head over and take her off your hands." He looked up at Liv and shook his head. "Nope, it is Maureen again. I will be there within the next thirty minutes."
"Okay, I will keep her here until you get her." Cragen hung up.
Olivia looked over at the kids and then back at him. "I will come with you, I need to speak to Don anyway."
Elliot nodded, he walked over to the kids. " I need to go save your sister from herself, can one of you stay with Serena? I also need another one of you when you are done here to take Eli home with you."
Kathleen nodded at him. "Yes, dad I can take Eli home with me for the night. I have the next few days off anyhow."
"I will stay here until one of you guys come back." Dickie looked over at Liv and Elliot.
Serena looked up at them as well, she was a bit worried. "Is everything okay?"
They both nodded at her and gave her a reassuring smile.
Maureen was let into her mothers cell. "Maureen what the hell are you doing here? How did you know I was here?
"Mom, dad has filled us in on everything. He said that we had the right to know what was happening and that we can not be lied to anymore. Why did you do it?!" She was angry.
"Sweetheart, listen... this was all for you and your siblings. I wanted you guys to have the chance at an education that I did not have. You guys did, did you not?"
She shook her head at her. "You gave Olivia a reason to get closer to dad. Did you honestly not think that they would never find out? How stupid do you think they are?!" Maureen looked away from her mother.
"I know it was not that thought out and I should have known that it would end this way. Maureen at the time all I could think of was the money that he offered me. He promised that they would move away, and they did but I thought that it would have been out of the state not only across town." Kathy took her daughters hand.
"Okay, so that is your line of excuses for that. Onto the next issue, why the hell did you kill a man?! We will loose you now forever! Eli will grow up without a mother, or worse he will know Olivia Benson as his mother! Hope you are happy with what you have done!" Her voice was getting louder. Elliot and Olivia heard her as they walked towards the holding cells.
Kathy looked at the anger her daughter had with her, and she knew that it was all her doing. "Maureen, I am so sorry that I have hurt you and your siblings like this, maybe if I could do it over I would do it a bit differently but there is no way I will ever regret giving you and your siblings a better life. Maureen, things will get better... trust me baby.." She stopped speaking when she seen Oliva and Elliot.
Maureen looked behind her. "What the hell are you doing here? Especially you?" She snapped at Olivia.
Elliot shook his head at her. "You are done here Maureen. You should not have come here before you were able to clam down."
He got the guard to open the cell. He grabbed her arm and he led her to another room to talk. Olivia stayed behind and she went into the cell herself. She looked at Kathy, Kathy unable to look her in the eyes. "Why? Kathy Stabler, why did you do this to me? To us? Elliot and I had the right to know."
Kathy sept her eyes on the ground. "I am sorry, but I had to for..."
"For your children!" Olivia interrupted. " I have heard that excuse, that excuse is not good enough! You have no idea what you have done to an innocent child! She was abused from the age of six on by a man that you claimed was a good man! That you sold her to him! All for money! All for your own selfish needs!" Olivia was getting more and more enraged with every word she spoke, she lunged at Kathy punching her in the face.
Finn and Munch ran into the cell pulling Olivia off of her. "Liv, this is not the way. Justice will be served. Come one." Munch pulled her out of the cell as Finn locked it back up.
Maureen and Elliot were standing in the squad room, she seen Olivia loose her cool. "This is what you have always wanted over mom?" She snapped at Elliot and stormed off. He went to go after her but Cragen grabbed his arm. "Elliot, I think it is best that you let her cool off."
Elliot nodded and he headed over to Olivia who was sitting on a bench trying to cool herself down a bit. "Liv, you okay?"
She looked up at him a she shook her head. "No." The tears streamed down her face, as they did Elliot pulled her into his arms tightly.
As he did Kathy looked on from her cell, she knew that this was her doing that Maureen was right. All that she had done for her family just pushed Elliot more towards Olivia.
