Once Trevor and Olive returned from their honeymoon, the next couple weeks went quickly. They were headed to Cape Cod for Katie and Josh's wedding. At the same time, Dan and Nicole were going on their Alaskan cruise and Erin and Jay headed to Chicago without Camille, since Natalie had given birth to Mia Erin Halstead on the 4th. The Tucker clan, minus Shauna and Jeff, headed to Ireland. They had even taken Jeff's parents and the 4 kids with them, so that gave Shauna and Jeff some time to themselves. Hank and Olivia had Daniel and the twins for the weekend, since Trevor and Olive were leaving Friday after work and were returning on Sunday night. Amanda, Sonny and Jesse had gone away the week of the 4th, so Olivia was still working even though she still had Fin, Shauna and Jeff there with her. Lucy had also taken some time off. Hank had decided to meet Olivia for lunch, so he got everyone into the SUV and drove to the Precinct. When he arrived, he got out. He put Camille in the baby carrier on his chest and then he tried to put the twins in the stroller.

"Sit down!"

"No!"

Thankfully Olive and Trevor arrived as well.

"Justin and Nicole, I said sit down!"

"No!"

"Listen to Papa, you two."

"Mama! Dada!"

Justin and Nikki gave Olive and Trevor a hug. Daniel went over to them too.

"Olivia told us you were bringing them for lunch."

Trevor picked up both of the twins and Olive put the stroller back in the SUV. She grabbed Daniel and Rachel's hands, while Noah took Hank's hand. Then they went inside and then headed up to SVU. Olivia was out in the Squadroom.

"Ga-ma!"

"Hey, you two. Look at you with Camille on your chest."

"Uh huh."

"I think it's sexy. She loves her grandpa. So does her grandma."

Olivia kissed Hank and then took a picture of him.

"So, how are the newlyweds?"

"We're great."

"Are you flying?"

"No. We're driving. We're done at work for the day. My mom left with Rick and Jess this morning and then we'll head up there as soon as we leave here. That's another reason why we decided to join you for lunch, so we could see the kids before we left."

"Is Josh's family ok with this?"

"Oh yeah. They really like Katie and they are already close to Colleen."

"Would it be possible for us to stay at your Hamptons house next weekend?"

"Of course."

Olivia looked at Hank and smirked.

"You two will need it after this weekend."

"I just want my house back. I love Erin and Jay but they decided on the day Natalie had the baby that they were leaving the next morning and not taking Camille. They just pretty much assumed that we were going to watch her. Not that we mind but they could have taken her with or they could have waited until today. Al and Meredith went away for a few days and Amanda and Sonny were already off this week. At least you two gave us a couple weeks warning that we'd be watching the kids this weekend."

"I didn't want to just start my job here and then take time off to go to Ireland with the rest of the family. If we're able to, maybe the next time they go. It's not like I've never been there. I want to build up my time and then we're eventually going on a honeymoon without the kids but not until after the baby."

"It was so nice of your family to include Jeff's parents and the kids in this."

"Eddie was going to go anyway and they had been planning to include Jeff and his family."

"When is the baby due?"

"Around Christmas."

"Katie and Josh's baby is due around that same time."

"Did they ever get a place?"

"They did. They found a condo not too far from us and they wanted Mom to move in with them. She finally agreed. She knew it was either going to be with us or Katie and Josh. She knew she didn't want to move to Boston or Chicago. Mom and Josh get along so well. We all keep telling her she needs to date again. After what happened with Frank, she's hesitant to get into another relationship."

"I would love for Aunt Adrienne find the perfect guy."

"What's going on with your brothers?"

"They both found places they like. They're coming in with their wives and kids next weekend and officially looking at these places. They want to close ASAP if possible, since they want to be moved by the time the kids start school. They already put their respective homes in Indy on the market and have already had offers."

"Did your brother take the Bar exam here?"

"He did. He's still waiting to hear back on the results but he did it."

"If Carisi can pass it, anyone can."

"Fin, be nice. He could have left us and become a lawyer but he said he still wanted to be a cop."

"I'm not sure why you or IAB are allowing all these couples to work together."

"Technically, they aren't working together. Amanda is still working with you, Carisi is working with Jeff and Shauna is working with Erin."

"And that's another thing, Erin takes too much time off."

"You know what, I am about ready to send you home without pay because of your attitude. I'm going to lunch and leaving Shauna in charge. If you're going to act like a baby, then you can go home. I'm tired of you whining and always putting Carisi down."

Olivia left with Hank, Olive, Trevor and the kids and headed to eat. When they arrived, they went in and were taken to their table. Trevor put the twins in the high chairs and then everyone looked at the menu before their order was taken.

"What's Fin's problem?"

"Honestly, I have no idea. He's had an attitude all week, since Rollins and Carisi have been off. He thinks I don't know but he and Melinda have been seeing each other."

"He didn't bring her to the wedding."

"She was on call that weekend."

"I had a visit from Casey and Alex after I was back from Paris. They both gave us gift cards and they eventually want to take us out to dinner."

"They both said they wish they had been able to reschedule their plans."

"That's what they said."

Then Melinda came in.

"Hey, Mel."

"Hey."

"Would you like to join us?"

"Sure."

They made room for Melinda and she sat down. She looked at the menu and had her order taken.

"Trevor, Olive, congratulations!"

"Thanks."

"What's up with Fin? He's had an attitude this week."

"I think he's mad at me because I've had to cancel on him several times lately, so he's just taking it out on anyone."

"He thinks I don't know that you two are seeing each other."

"He's clueless about a lot."

"I told him that if his attitude was going to continue, then he could go home without pay. He's pissed because I'm allowing too many couples to work together."

"As long as it doesn't interfere with their jobs, it shouldn't really matter."

"That's what I say. He's also so negative on Carisi all the time too. He's always calling him an idiot. I asked Olive if her brother took the Bar exam and she said yes but he's still waiting to hear back. Fin said if Carisi can pass it, then anyone can. Carisi isn't there to defend himself because he and Rollins went on vacation this week. They were heading down to Disney World and stopping in Atlanta to see her mother on the way back. After the year Amanda had, she really needed this. I don't know how things will go with her mother though but she figured they would stop."

"They drove?"

"They did."

"Did the Tuckers get to Ireland ok?"

"They did. Diana has called a few times checking on the dog. Brandon wasn't so sure he liked flying over the water for that long though."

"The difference in Ed Tucker in the last few years is amazing."

"Yeah. He was the way he was mostly because of Elliot and later Nick. He and Nick have worked out their differences. Like I have said before, Elliot is dead to me."

"Everything always was about him."

"Yep."

"Are we meeting tonight?"

"There's no one here. Olive and Trevor are leaving here and heading to Cape Cod, so we have the kids and Erin and Jay are in Chicago meeting his new niece. Al and Meredith are coming over, so if you want to, you can. We'll hang out at the pool or something. I'll ask Jeff and Shauna if they are interested and I'll call Casey and Alex."

"I could check with Don and John too."

"True."

"What about Barba?"

"He and Lucia went on a Mexican cruise, so even they're gone."

"I'm sorry I'm missing this week without Barba."

"I'm sure you are except you're one of the only people who has beaten him besides me."

Their food arrived and then everyone ate. Once they were done, they left. Olive and Trevor said goodbye to the kids and left for Boston. Hank took Olivia back to work and then headed home with the kids. When Olivia got back, she went up to her office.

"Liv, I apologize for my behavior. I don't know what has gotten into me lately."

"It's ok. Do you two want to come over for dinner tonight? Hank is going to call Don Cragen and John Munch to see if they're available and Melinda Warner is coming over. I need to call Casey and Alex. Al and Meredith should be coming."

"Sure."

"Fin, you're invited too."

"If Warner is gonna be there, then I figured I was goin'. We're ok though?"

"Yeah. We're fine. Just please stop giving Carisi such a hard time."

"I will."

"How often does your family do the Ireland thing?"

"Usually every other year from what I remember. They have always gone in July. I'm surprised they are continuing to do it with the family growing the way it is."

"Is this with all the cousins too?"

"Basically. My grandparents pay for their family meaning their kids, grandkids and now great grandkids. This is the tradition with my grandma's family."

"Are your dad's parents still around?"

"They are. They're in Florida not too far from Orlando, so we saw them when we were down there. They met us at Disney World."

"Have you two decided where you're planning to go on your honeymoon?"

"We're thinking about Hawaii or The Bahamas."

"If you decide on Hawaii, let us know and we will let you know where we stayed. This hotel is amazing."

"Oh, great. I appreciate that."

"Erin and Jay stayed there on their honeymoon as well. I highly recommend the spa. I'm ready to go back."

"I have always wanted to go to Hawaii."

"Where did you go the first time you were married?"

"Vegas. I've always wanted to go to Hawaii too."

"Maybe we should do that then and then do The Bahamas thing with the family, including your parents and my parents."

"That works for me."

"Ok."

Olivia went back into her office to call Casey and Alex. It ended up being a slow afternoon and everyone was just getting caught up with paperwork before the weekend. Once Shauna finished hers, she went to Olivia's office and knocked on the door.

"Come on in."

Shauna walked in and sat down on one of the chairs.

"Olivia, I'm sorry I ended up on desk duty already."

"Don't be sorry. You have to look out for your baby."

"That is the one advantage to working with Jeff because if something happens, he's already here."

"Yeah. Amanda feels the same way. Did you by any chance have a talk with Fin, while I was gone?"

"I did not. He was cussing himself out after you left."

Olivia rolled her eyes and shook her head.

"Why do I feel like something is going to happen with Diana gone and then we'd have to deal with someone else from IAB?"

"That is usually how it works. I don't know that I would have wanted to deal with my uncle being IAB."

"He got better but we were always guilty until proven innocent with him. I told you about the time he arrested me for murdering someone, right?"

"Yeah. Honestly, I wouldn't have minded having you for an aunt."

"I seriously don't think that would have happened. I cared for him but I didn't love him that way. I love having him for a brother-in-law though. He was there for me when I was in that accident last year."

"I still don't get how he didn't have a scratch on him after that."

"Neither does he. He did say that if he could have traded places with me, he would have."

"I'm glad you ended up with Hank though. I would have loved to have worked for him but I loved working for Diana. I'm happy to be working with Erin now even though I'm on desk duty."

"We'll figure it out. I'm still expecting Rollins to announce she's pregnant again. I like only going out when I have too now. If Amanda had another baby, I can switch things around a little more and have Erin work with Fin, Jeff or Carisi. Although it would more than likely be with Fin or Carisi."

"Fin and Carisi don't get along?"

"They do but Fin is always giving him a hard time about something. He thinks Amanda can do better sometimes. What woman wouldn't want a guy who loves to cook and bake? Hank loves to cook and he's even learned to bake. So has Ed. Diana gets to see the more domesticated Ed. When he and I were together, we ate out or had takeout."

"I learned how to cook at a young age because of my mom and grandma. I tried cooking for Eddie as much as I could but it was hard with my schedule."

"I get that. I mostly lived on carryout before Noah came into my life. I'm not completely helpless in the kitchen. When Olive was living with us, she did some of the cooking. She and Trevor cook together all the time."

"They are such a cute couple."

"They really are. Hank just wants her to be happy but he also wants a relationship with the kids."

"If Jeff's first wife's parents were in the picture, I would understand that too and would try to establish a relationship with them to let them know they can trust me."

"Me knowing Trevor as long as I have, helped. He helped me with the adoption. Prior to that, I didn't have much use for him. He was the lawyer that defended me when IAB charged me with murder but for years, he tried to keep the scum, I wanted off the streets, out of jail. When he gave that up and helped me with the adoption, I started respecting him more. I contacted him when Hank wanted to adopt Noah and he worked with us with Rachel too. He's also working with Ed and Diana with Brandon."

"Are they going to be able to adopt him?"

"They hope to. Brandon was so scared when Diana was in the hospital when she was shot. He has already become so attached to her."

"I love seeing my uncle in the dad role."

"I do too, actually. He was a little awkward with Noah but he has seemed to handle being a dad to Kara and now Brandon pretty well. He's not too thrilled about Kara being into boys now. He didn't like the fact that Kara had a crush on Kelly Severide."

"Who hasn't? I wished I was in Erin's shoes when she was with him."

"Hank said he liked them together but Jay has grown on him."

Fin and Jeff and finished, so they joined Olivia and Shauna. Fin sat down on one of the other chairs, while Jeff pulled his chair into her office and sat next to Shauna.

"So, Fin, how long have you and Mel been seeing each other?"

"Casually since your birthday party but seriously for a couple months. I was really hopin' she would have been able to come to the wedding with me."

"I'm happy for you, Fin."

"Thanks. Now we all have someone."

"That's true."

"When are Erin and Jay back?"

"Sunday. Tentatively I'm planning to take Friday and maybe Thursday next week. I want to get away with Hank for a few days."

"At the Langan's place in the Hamptons?"

"Yep."

"I don't blame you. That place was gorgeous."

"Erin and Jay owe us after the last minute thing this weekend. Natalie had the baby on Wednesday and they decided then that they were leaving for Chicago yesterday morning. I'm not happy with them at the moment and neither is Hank. They knew we had Daniel and the twins this weekend."

Then Olivia's cell rang, so she answered it. It was Erin.

"Hey."

"Hey. I am so sorry about this weekend. It was all Jay's idea. We could have waited until tonight but he was really excited to meet his new niece. I don't want you and Dad mad at me."

"We're both a little unhappy about it but we're planning to go away next weekend. I haven't decided if it will be Thursday or Friday but we're going to the Langan's house in the Hamptons."

"Ok. Is everything ok?"

"Your dad brought everyone and we went to lunch. Trevor and Olive decided to join us, so they could see the kids one more time before they left. They ended up working a half day and left for Boston after lunch. The twins were giving Papa a hard time about getting in the stroller. By the time they came upstairs, your dad had Camille in the carrier on his chest and holding Noah's hand, Olive had Daniel and Rachel and Trevor was carrying the twins. I took a picture of your dad with Camille on his chest. So cute. I'll send it after we hang up. How are Natalie and the baby?"

"Great. I'll send you a couple pics after we hang up too. Work busy?"

"It's been a slow day for a change."

"That's good, right?"

"Yeah but sometimes that means we'll get something in the middle of the night."

"I should go. We'll Skype later, so we can see Camille."

"Ok. We're still having people over tonight. Jeff, Shauna, Fin, Melinda, Alex, Casey, Al, Meredith, Don and Munch are all coming over."

"What's for dinner?"

"I have no idea."

"We'll talk later."

"Ok."

"Love you."

"I love you too."

"Say hi to everyone."

"I will."

Olivia hung up the phone and then texted Erin the picture of Hank with Camille on his chest. Erin texted her the pictures of the newest Halstead.

"Erin says hi and said they will Skype later to see Camille."

"Ok."

"It got dark in a hurry."

"It sure did. Maybe we'll be doing something other than the pool later. Here are some pics of the newest Halstead."

Olivia showed everyone.

"She's adorable. What little hair she has is red like Will's."

"I see a bit of a resemblance between her and Camille."

Olivia pulled up a pic of Camille after she was born and showed it to Shauna.

"Definitely. You can tell they're cousins."

"Camille has looked like Jay pretty much since she was born."

"Thankfully, Eddie has looked like my side since the day he was born. He looks nothing like Mitch."

"I see his Uncle Ed."

"Oh, yeah. I've always looked more like him and my son does too. Of all of us, I'm the one that's the most like him."

They continued talking for a while and then they all left to head to Hank and Olivia's. It was raining and it seemed to get heavier as they were driving. By the time Olivia and Fin arrived, it was pouring. Olivia pulled into the garage as she always did. Fin got out of his car and ran into the garage before Olivia closed it.

"Dang!"

"Yeah, really."

They went into the house.

"Hello."

"Hey."

Olivia went over to Hank and kissed him.

"Jeff and Shauna went home until the storm lets up a bit."

"Ok."

Fin went downstairs and grabbed a beer out of the refrigerator.

"What's for dinner?"

"BBQ chicken breasts. I was going to do it on the grill but I didn't want to stand outside in the rain, so I put it in the oven instead."

"Sounds good."

"I made another potato salad and I got some corn on the cob when I went shopping yesterday."

"Is there enough?"

"Oh, yeah."

"I heard from Erin."

"And?"

"She's sorry about what happened and put all the blame on Jay. She sent some pics."

Olivia showed Hank the pictures.

"She looks a lot like Camille but with red hair."

"That she does."

The doorbell rang, so Olivia went to answer it along with the 3 dogs. It was mostly everyone else.

"You made it."

"We did."

"It is so good to see you."

"You too, kiddo."

"I brought Eileen. Is that ok?"

"That's perfectly fine. It's good to see you again, Eileen."

"You too, Olivia."

Al, Meredith, John, Don, Alex and Casey hugged Olivia and went inside. Just as Olivia was about to close the door, Jeff and Shauna came over. Lola was happy to see Shauna.

"Hey, girl. We stopped and got stuff for s'mores."

"Thank you. Hank was planning to cookout but didn't want to stand out in the rain."

"They're just as good in the microwave."

"We've done them that way too."

Jeff and Shauna came in and took their shoes off. They went to the kitchen at sat at the table with everyone else.

"Is everyone here?"

"Just Melinda."

"Does Lola miss them?"

"She does. That's probably why she's so happy to see you. Don, Eileen and John, this is Shauna Walsh, who's Ed's niece."

"Nice to meet you."

"You too."

"Will the Tuckers be here tonight?"

"No. The entire family except Shauna and Jeff went to Ireland this week."

"Ireland is beautiful. I would love to go back."

"It's been a while since I've been there but the family goes every couple years. If I hadn't just transferred here from Chicago, I would have gone. My parents took my son, Jeff's parents and 3 girls. We just recently got married but I didn't want to take time off yet."

"She transferred to SVU from Vice in Chicago. She worked with Ed's wife in Chicago and has known Hank for years."

"Ok. So, you're allowing them to work together?"

"I have them and Rollins and Carisi. I'm ok with them being in the same unit as long as it doesn't interfere with their jobs. IAB, meaning Diana, is fine with it and she said the decision is mine. They don't work together. Rollins is still partnered up with Fin, Carisi is partnered up with Jeff and Shauna is a Sergeant and partnered up with Erin. I am basically only going out when I have too. Shauna is on desk duty because she's pregnant and I'm expecting Rollins and Carisi to be making an announcement of their own pretty soon. They went to Disney World this week and then stopping in Atlanta on the way back. It helps having two Sergeants."

"Wow!"

"Never a dull moment. Sometimes I don't like being in charge though."

"I knew you could handle it when I retired."

"Thanks a lot."

"I can tell you one thing. If Elliot hadn't put his papers in, there is no way I would have left him in charge."

"I seriously don't think IAB would have allowed it. Ed was the way he was with us basically because of Elliot and later Nick but at least Ed and Nick have worked out their differences and are civil with each other. I know I wouldn't be where I am now if Elliot hadn't put his papers in. He was holding me back."

"I definitely agree with that. You've come a long way and I definitely saw a lot more potential in you than I ever did with him."

"Like I have told Fin, as far as I am concerned, Elliot is dead to me."

"You have every right to feel that way."

"At this point, I'd rather have Ed in my life than Elliot. If Elliot cared at all, he would have contacted me after what happened with Lewis."

"True."

"Can we change the subject? I don't want to talk about Elliot Stabler anymore."

"What's going on with the Voights, Halsteads and Langans?"

"Thanks, Alex."

"No problem."

"We're all great. Trevor's youngest stepsister is getting married tomorrow in Cape Cod, so they're heading there. We have the kids. Olive's parents are on an Alaskan cruise and her aunt is out of town as well. Erin and Jay went to Chicago since Jay's sister-in-law Natalie gave birth to a baby girl on Wednesday, so we have Camille as well. Hank and I are taking a few days and staying at the Langan's place in the Hamptons place next weekend. I don't know if it will be Thursday or Friday but we need some time to ourselves. Erin already knows about it. They decided last night that they were leaving this morning. Honey, where's Noelle?"

"She's here somewhere. DANIEL."

Daniel came running into the kitchen.

"Yes, Papa."

"Where's Noelle?"

"Sofa."

"Ok."

"Hi."

"Hey, Daniel."

Justin came into the kitchen.

"Hi Ga-ma."

"Hey, Sweetie.

Justin crawled up on Olivia's lap. Nikki came in and wanted to do the same thing.

"Me, Ga-ma."

Justin started kicking Nikki.

"Justin, no! Be nice to her.

"My Ga-ma"

"No, mine."

"Don't you just love how they fight over you?"

"Yeah."

Hank moved Justin and put him in his high chair.

"No!"

Hank gave him a look but Justin glared back at him.

"Terrible two's, huh?"

"They have gotten worse now that they're 18 months. Noah was never this bad at that age."

"They're both adorable."

"They're cute but trouble."

"I'm going through that with Katelyn right now too. She's better with my parents than she is with me but she and Shauna get along really well."

"How was she on the flight to Ireland?"

"From what my parents said, she did well. She slept for the most part. She has to take her blankie everywhere, so she took it to Ireland with her."

"Eddie had to take his teddy bear with him. He pretty much takes it everywhere except school."

"At least he'll be in the same school with Brandon."

"That's a good thing. He and Brandon have been getting along really well."

"Once he had some stability in his life, he really started doing much better in school. It makes me happy to see him the way he is now versus how he was when we first met him."

"He seems to have adjusted to his new surroundings pretty well."

"He definitely has."

"Have any of the other kids that were in the home with him gotten placed somewhere?"

"For the most part, I think they have. Brandon was having the hardest time but he is a very smart little boy. The first night he was with Ed and Diana, they had us over for dinner and Brandon spilled something. He ran off and went to hide in his closet because he was afraid of what they might do to him because of what happened to him before. Ed went after him and assured him that they would never hurt him because of something that was an accident. He's old enough to remember what happened to him but thankfully Rachel is not."

"It's so hard when kids are the victims."

"It is."

"It always was."

The doorbell rang again, so Olivia went to answer it. It was Melinda.

"Hey, Mel."

"Hey. Sorry, I'm a little late. Dinner is about ready, so you haven't missed anything."

"Good."

Melinda took her shoes off and joined everyone else in the kitchen.

"Hey, Melinda."

"Hey. I'm not sure how long I'll be able to stay. There was a huge accident on the GW Bridge and they are saying multiple fatalities, so I may have to leave if they get too swamped."

"I'm sure the weather isn't helping."

"Probably not."

"I don't miss Patrol."

"Me neither."

"Same."

"I think we can all agree with that."

"If my uncle was here, he's probably be out there. My dad is a retired fire fighter."

"Jack Walsh, right?"

"Yes."

"I know him well."

"My uncle is Jason Murphy."

"I know him too."

"Obviously I've known Ed for years and I've known Olivia, Fin, Don and Munch for years as well."

Once dinner was ready and all the kids were at the table, everyone ate and carried on various conversations throughout the meal. After dinner, Al and Fin went to set up for the poker game, while Hank helped clean up. The guys went to play poker and the women sat and talked for a while, while the kids watched a movie. Melinda ended up having to go back to work but the others did s'mores and took them down to the guys. The kids ate theirs in the kitchen, so they wouldn't get them all over the family room. Erin and Jay Skyped with Olivia and got to see Camille and then Olive and Trevor Skyped her to talk to Daniel and the twins. Olivia had gotten Camille and the twins to bed before the s'mores and then once the movie was over, she took the other 3 up to get them ready for bed. After a while, everyone left and Hank and Olivia went up to bed as well. They made love before they fell asleep in each other's arms. The rest of the weekend went quickly and mostly everyone who was out of town returned on Sunday.
