A/N: This chapter focuses more on Olive's family. I don't own any of the characters except my own.

The next morning, everyone got up and got ready. Diana, Olivia, Erin and Jay left for work and grabbed breakfast on the way. Once Ed was dressed, he headed over to Hank and Olivia's and they went to meet Al and Meredith for breakfast after Lucy got there to stay with Camille. Dan and Nicole headed to the airport. Olive had an appointment at the doctor, so she and Trevor headed to that. Everything looked good and the doctor said it was ok for her to fly as long as it was a domestic flight. After their appointment, they headed to work. As soon as Olive got to her office, she saw Adrienne.

"You ok to fly?"

"Yeah. I need to ask for the rest of the week off. Mom said she hopes this a wakeup call for Jess."

"I'm sure it will be."

"You're going I hope."

"Oh, yeah. I assume Trevor is going."

"Yeah. He was going to make the reservations for us."

"I made mine last night. I leave tonight."

"Ok."

"Are the kids coming?"

"No. Daniel stayed at the Harrison's last night and the twins were with Denise. Hank and Olivia said they could stay with them. I told Mom that if Jess starts something with me, I'm out of there and I'm done with her. That's why she said she thinks this will be a wakeup call for her, since she now suddenly has to raise the kids on her own."

"You have a valid point."

"I told Mom and Dad not to tell Jess I'm coming. She said they won't."

Olive got a text from Trevor telling her he had gotten them on a flight that night and told her what time.

"What time is your flight?"

"5:15."

"We must be on the same flight."

"That's perfect."

"Are you bringing your new man?"

"No. I'm not ready to introduce Kevin to all the drama in this family. Maybe I'll start with you, Trevor, the kids, Nicole and Dan first."

"Mom doesn't think he exists because she hasn't met him yet."

"Always the big sister. He and I dated for a while in college but we went our separate ways. I just never brought him to holidays because he always went home. I'll have all of you over soon."

"Sounds like a plan to me. I need to go talk to Caroline."

Olive went to talk to her boss about needing the time off to go to her brother-in-law's funeral. Peter had texted her and Adrienne to let them know that the visitation was on Wednesday and the funeral on Thursday. Instead of calling or texting Trevor, Olive went upstairs to his office.

"Hey, Olive."

"Hey, Linda."

"How are you feeling?"

"Other than being tired all the time, I'm doing great. My due date is around the 11th of September."

"That's great."

"Is Trevor busy?"

"No."

Linda called Trevor to tell him Olive was there and then he came out of his office.

"Hey, Babe."

"Hey. I heard from Pete. The visitation is Wednesday and the funeral is on Thursday."

"Ok. I don't want you on your feet that entire time."

"Oh, yeah. I know."

"What happened?"

"My sister's husband was killed in a car accident on Saturday night. She and I don't necessarily get along but she will now see what I had to go through."

"I've got a sister like that too. I'm sorry for your family's loss."

"Thanks."

Where do you have to go?"

"Indianapolis. We're leaving tonight with my aunt. My parents are on their way there now."

"I just made the return trip for Saturday."

"That's fine."

"I talked to my mom. This could be an interesting few days. The twins are driving her nuts after just having them overnight. I told her to call Jamie if she needed her to help out."

"They drove Hank and Olivia nuts when they had them when we went to Katie and Josh's wedding. They are definitely in their terrible twos. Daniel was never this bad and he's 3. I'm hoping this is just a phase they're going through. I need to get back downstairs."

"Ok. Since we need to leave early, I will run home and pack. Should I call Hank and Olivia to see if Noelle can stay with them?"

"Sure."

Olive kissed Trevor and went back downstairs, while Trevor went back into his office. He then decided to call Olivia.

"Hey, Trev."

"Hey. Can Noelle stay with you? We're leaving at 5:15 tonight and I booked the return trip for Saturday."

"No problem."

"I told Olive I'd go home and pack some stuff but we needed to do something with Noelle."

"I actually forgot to give you your keys back."

"I'll let you know when I am heading over there and you can meet me or I can drop the keys off at the Precinct."

"Hank is meeting me for lunch around 11:30 if that helps."

"I was planning on going about noon anyway. Are you heading to the Pub?"

"Probably. What are you doing with the kids?"

"The twins are already driving my mother nuts and she only had them overnight. I told her to call Jamie if she has to. They drove you and Hank nuts when you had them when we went to Katie and Josh's wedding."

"Daniel was never that bad."

"That's what Olive said. She hopes this is just a phase they are going through."

"I don't remember Noah being like that either. Call me when you head home."

"I will. Thanks."

Trevor hung up. A few hours later, Trevor left to head home and called Olivia to let her know. She and Hank were at the Pub, so she told him they would be there in about 15 minutes. They ended the call and then Hank and Olivia left to meet Trevor at the condo. They called when they got there and Trevor came out with Noelle in her carrier and her food.

"Thank you so much."

"No problem. Here are the keys for your house."

"Thanks."

"There's a surprise in the back for you."

"For me?"

Trevor opened the rear door after Hank unlocked it.

"Daddy!"

"Dada!"

"Hey, you 3. Mommy and I need to go to Indiana, so you need to be good for Grandma and Papa, ok?"

"Ok."

Nicole and Justin gave Trevor a devilish smile.

"Uh oh! They just gave me that devilish smile of theirs."

"That's never a good thing."

"We will call you tonight before you go to bed, ok?"

"Ok."

"I love you."

"Love you, Daddy."

Trevor blew kisses to the 3 of them and then he shut the door.

"Have a safe trip."

"We will."

Hank and Olivia pulled away and then Trevor went back upstairs. Trevor went back to work. The afternoon went by quickly. It was time for Trevor, Olive and Adrienne to leave for the airport. Adrienne left her car in the parking garage and Trevor drove to the airport. When they arrived, they got checked in and went through security before heading to the gate.

"The twins gave me that devilish smile of theirs when I told them to be good for Hank and Olivia."

Olive rolled her eyes. They talked for a while and then it was time to board the plane. After a while, it took off for Indianapolis.

A few hours later, the plane landed. They got off the plane and went to get their luggage before they went to get their rental. They went to the hotel to get checked in. Olive called Nicole to tell her they were there and she told them they were all at Jessica's. They got into the car and Trevor drove to Jessica's. On the trip over, Olive was starting to get nervous about how things were going to be between her and her sister. She was grateful that she had Trevor by her side. When they arrived, they got out of the car and walked toward the door. Trevor took her hand and they laced their fingers together. Adrienne rang the doorbell. Dan answered it.

"Hey, kiddo."

"Hey."

The 3 of them walked in and as soon as the kids saw them, they ran over and hugged them.

"Auntie Olive, Uncle Trevor, Auntie Adrienne!"

"Hey, you guys. We are so about your dad."

"Thanks. Grammy said you're having another baby."

"Yes, we are. I'm due around the 11th of September."

"Boy or girl?"

"Girl. We're naming her Margaret Grace."

"That's a pretty name."

"Thank you. If you put your hands right about here, you can feel her kick."

All the kids put their hands on Olive's belly.

"That's cool. How are Daniel, Nikki and Justin?"

"They're doing good. The twins are into everything. They're all with Hank and Olivia while we're gone. Hey, Mom."

"Hi Sweetie."

"Where's Jess?"

"She's upstairs."

Olive headed up the stairs.

"Babe, are you sure?"

"I need to do this."

Olive continued the rest of the way up and went to Jessica and Mark's bedroom. She found her sister sitting on the side of the bed holding Mark's pillow. She knocked before we went in. Jessica looked up to see who it was. When she saw it was Olive, she patted the bed next to her, so Olive went over and sat down. Jessica then put her head on Olive's shoulder.

"I'm sorry for everything. I guess I deserve to have everyone leave me."

"You still have your kids. They seem to be holding up pretty well."

"Compared to me, yeah. I begged him not to leave. Just before he left, I had planned to tell him that we were having another baby. It just sort of happened and no, it wasn't because I was jealous of you. I can't do this. How am I supposed to bring this child into the world without a father? How am I supposed to raise 5 kids by myself?"

"I got through it and you will too. It's not easy. Believe me. Do you have a good relationship with Mark's family?"

"We get along ok but they live in LA and they hardly ever see the kids. They'll be in tomorrow. I asked if they wanted to be here to help with the arrangements but they said no. They knew we were having problems."

"Pete said Mark wanted to file for a separation."

"Yeah. He was still living here and we were trying to work things out for the kids."

"How far along are you?"

"12 weeks. I just found out on Friday. The last almost 48 hours have been the worst of my life. How did you deal with what happened with Justin?"

"We basically knew he would not be the person he once was and he wouldn't have wanted to live that way. We knew we had to let him go as hard as it was."

"Dad's friend Ray was the one that came over here and told me. He called Pete and Chad and asked them to meet him here, so I wasn't alone with just the kids. There is nothing keeping me here anymore."

"You have your kids and they can help you go through stuff. There might be something of his they want. Hank had kept a lot of Justin's toys, including the stuff the boys aren't old enough for yet. Within the last few months, he gave Justin's Matchbox cars, Star Wars stuff and Legos to the little boy Olivia's half-sister and brother-in-law are fostering. Maybe when you start going through his stuff, start going through your own stuff and start packing things little by little."

"That's a good point. I see things got a little more serious with you and Trevor. When is my niece or nephew due?"

"She's due around the 11th of September and got her start after Trevor and I left Dad's retirement party. We got married about a month ago."

"I do like Trevor and I never really hated Justin. I never hated you either."

"The feeling is mutual. We were going to have to do this at some point."

"Yeah, I know. I just wish it had been under better circumstances."

"I do too."

"Does my niece have a name yet?"

"Margaret Grace and we will call her Maggie."

"That's a cute name."

"Thanks. Trevor was pretty agreeable about it."

"I have no idea what I'm naming this one."

"If it's a boy, you should name him Mark just like I did with Justin."

"That may not be a bad idea. Mark and I were going to marriage counselling. I know I'm the problem. I'm the problem in my relationships with everyone."

"I've found that talking to someone who has been through what you've been through really helps. Hank has been through it and he and I are still pretty close. He accepted Trevor in my life but we asked him and Olivia to be grandparents to Maggie as well. The only grandpa she'll have is Dad. They're sharing the kids with Denise, Trevor's mom, so she wanted to share Maggie with them. Hank and Olivia's neighbor works with Olivia and he lost his wife in a car accident over 2 years ago when he youngest was only a few months old. He has 3 girls. He met someone and they got married just before Trevor and I did. She has a son between his 2 oldest and they just found out they're expecting around Christmas. I've been through it and I'll be there for you as much as I can."

"I'm due towards the end of January. With everyone moving to New York, I'm here on my own, so I guess I might as well look out for something out there eventually but New York is expensive."

"It is but our condo has an amazing view though. Mom and Dad's place is not too far from us. A year ago, Trevor bought a place on the beach in the Hamptons. That was where we had the wedding."

"Where did you go on your honeymoon?"

"Paris. It was so amazing."

"I bet it was. I've always wanted to go there but we never did. Why did we have to get into that stupid argument and why did the other driver think the text was more important than paying attention to what was going on around him?"

Jessica broke down and Olive wrapped her arms around her. Then Nicole and Adrienne came in.

"They're not killing each other."

"Nope. This is progress for them."

"How are the kids?"

"They're getting hungry. You're dad and I have been talking. If you decide you want to move to New York, you can stay with us as long as you need to or we'll help you find a place. Whatever you get for this place, you can use towards something out there. I'm sure Mark made sure you were all well taken care of. You won't be able to live on that forever, so you may actually have to get a job."

"That did cross my mind. I have no experience doing anything though."

"You'll figure something out."

"They are looking for another assistant where I work. I'm planning on taking the rest of the year off after the baby comes, so they will need help while I am gone. I really had no experience until I worked there but I needed to do something to be able to support my kids. If I wanted to, I could quit working after the baby but I'm not sure I'm ready for that yet. Trevor's law firm is in the same building, so that's an added bonus for me. We moved in with him after the first of the year and we ended up hiring a nanny. It didn't make much sense for me to take the kids to Hank and Olivia's before I headed to work. The condo is closer to work anyway. Trevor's law firm is also looking for help. Their normal receptionist is having knee surgery sometime in August but I think when she comes back, it will only be part-time."

Trevor came up and found where they were.

"Everything ok?"

"Yeah."

"Jessica, I am so sorry for your loss."

"Thank you."

Trevor went to give her a hug.

"Are you still looking for another receptionist?"

"We are."

"When is Linda's surgery?"

"All she said was middle to late August. You interested?"

"No but I was telling Jess in case she comes to New York. I told her that where I work is looking for another assistant to replace me when I go on maternity leave and your firm was looking for someone another receptionist. I'm not sure you'd get anything done with me working there."

"Sometimes it's hard with you being in the same building."

"Let's not get into that."

Trevor winked at Olive and she rolled her eyes.

"Maybe we should go get something to eat."

They all went downstairs and then they decided where they were going for dinner. During their time at dinner, Jessica took the time to get to know Trevor better. For once, they enjoyed a nice family dinner. After dinner, Trevor, Olive and Adrienne went back to the hotel, while everyone else went home.

The next morning, Trevor and Olive checked in with Hank to see how the kids were. Trevor ended up taking Jessica's kids to the Zoo, so Olive and Jess could hang out together and then the entire family went out for dinner again. Mark's family had come in from California. For the most part, Olive and Jessica had been getting along surprisingly well. A part of Olive wondered how long it was going to last.

The next couple days were going to be hard. Even though Olive wasn't close to Jessica most of the time, she still loved her brother-in-law. That afternoon, they headed to the funeral home. Trevor kept a close eye on Olive and made sure she sat down every so often, so she wasn't on her feet the entire time. He knew she was having issues with being there because she had started to think about Justin. The entire family ended up staying the entire time. The next morning was the funeral and then they had the luncheon afterward. After the luncheon, Mark's family said goodbye to Jessica and the kids and headed to the airport.

The rest of the week went by quickly. Trevor, Olive and Adrienne were leaving early Saturday afternoon. They had said goodbye to everyone the night before, so once they got up, got ready and had breakfast, they headed to the airport. Jess told Olive and Trevor, they would come visit them in a few weeks.

By the time they arrived back in New York, they got their luggage and then Trevor drove Adrienne to the office, so she could get her car. He then drove home and then they headed to Hank and Olivia's. When they arrived, they got out of their SUV and went to ring the doorbell. Olivia answered the door.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"Come in."

"Thanks."

Olive and Trevor walked in and went into the kitchen.

"How did things go?"

"Surprisingly well. We talked things out and we got through the week without wanting to kill each other. She said they are coming to visit us in a few weeks. How were the kids?"

"Not too bad. Jamie was here with Lucy a couple days this week."

"Ok, good."

"Denise has been here too. She wants to know how Hank has so much patience with the twins. Usually all he has to do is give them a look and they behave."

"Whatever they did, I apologize for. Where's Hank?"

"He is out running some errands. Kara and her friends went to Six Flags, so Ed and Diana are chaperoning. The boys and Rachel are next door and Erin, Jay and Camille are spending some time with Amanda, Sonny, Jesse and Frannie at the park, so Nikki and Justin get to spend some quality time with Grandma. They are napping right now."

"Good."

"Kara really wants to take her friends, including the boys, to the Six Flags in Chicago but Ed and Diana don't see that happening right now. Ed still isn't sure about this co-ed stuff. Diana is ok with Kara being interested in boys at this point but Ed isn't. Kara has known Travis since kindergarten and Kelly has known Jeremy just as long. All 5 boys seem like they're great. Ed is still getting used to this dad stuff and all dads don't want their daughters to grow up too fast. They said if they go, they may allow her to take 3 friends and Diana has a feeling that the other 2 will be Travis and Jeremy. She has no doubt that Kelly will be going."

"Did they take Brandon?"

"No. He wanted to stay with us, so he's next door as well."

"That makes sense. I'm glad Daniel has become friends with Jeff's kids. There are kids in our building that he plays with too and he gets along pretty well with Rick's kids and Colleen's kids. I'm hoping he will get along with his cousins on my side once he gets to know them better."

"That would be nice. Did Diana get a hold of you?"

"Yeah. I talked to her yesterday and told her I would set up a time to meet with Judge Linden. I called her once I hung up with Diana and we have an appointment with her for Monday morning."

"That poor boy has been through enough. He has changed so much in the over 5 months that he has been with them. It makes me feel good to be able to see that in one of the victims I helped, especially a child."

"You made sure all of those kids got out of that home though, so you did your job."

"Sometimes I'd like to know what happened to some of them and there are others I wish I could have done more for, more specifically Nadia Decotis and Ellie Porter."

"Ellie was more concerned about where she was going to find drugs than she was about getting her son back. Noah is a happy and healthy boy."

"He is. For a while there I was concerned about his lungs but he seems to be fine."

"You probably saved his life."

"He saved mine too. There were many times I wish I had been dead after what happened with Lewis. My dream of being a mother was fulfilled even though I wish I had been able to have one of my own. It just wasn't meant to be but I love the kids I have including Erin. Blood isn't what makes a family. Love is."

"That's true. Do you ever plan to tell Noah about his real parents?"

"Maybe someday. Do you want to stay for dinner?"

"We could. Are they planning to come home?"

"I think so."

Then Hank came in.

"Hey."

"Hey, Honey."

"I see the Langans are back."

"We are. I survived my sister and we actually got along. She said she and her kids will come to visit soon. She found out she's pregnant again and she's due at the end of January. Mom and Dad said they will help out as much as they can. I told her of two job opportunities here, one where I work to replace me when I go on maternity leave and one at Trevor's office to replace Linda when she has her knee surgery. She's thinking she may stay put instead of rushing into moving. The kids can go through the school year with their friends."

"How old are her kids?"

"Brianna is 7, Andrew and Ethan are 5 and Mia is 3. She's a month older than Daniel. It kind of would have made more sense to relocate now before the boys start school but maybe it is too soon and there would be a lot of rushing to get stuff packed. I suggested that when she starts going through Mark's things, to go through hers as well and then she can start packing little by little. See if the kids want to keep anything of their dad's, so they have something to remember him by."

"That makes sense. I had a lot of Justin's stuff but Ed ended up taking quite a bit of it for Brandon. I got out the box of stuffed animals of Justin's that I had in the garage and Nikki decided she liked his teddy bear, so she's been carrying it around everywhere with her this week."

"Ok."

The twins woke up, so Trevor went upstairs to get them. Olivia went next door and got the kids, while Hank fixed dinner on the grill. By the time dinner was ready, Erin, Jay and Camille were back and Amanda, Sonny and Jesse were joining them as well. After dinner, Olive and Trevor took the kids home and got them ready for bed. Amanda and Sonny went home as well. Erin fed Camille and got her ready for bed. Olivia got Noah, Brandon and Rachel ready for bed. Once the kids were in bed, Hank, Olivia, Erin and Jay watched a movie before they went to bed as well.

The rest of the weekend went by quickly. Ed came to pick up Brandon and Lola after breakfast and they all spent the day with his family. Trevor and Olive brought the kids over to Hank and Olivia's and everyone spent the day by the pool.
