A/N: I will eventually get back to writing Townhouse Incident – The Crossover but when, I'm not exactly sure, so bear with me. I don't own any of the characters except my own.

3 weeks later…

Hank, Olivia, Al, Meredith, Trudy, Mouch, Colleen, Patty, Shauna and Erin were at the hospital with Ed, while Diana was in surgery. Olivia had told Fin that she was not planning to come in at all and neither was Shauna, so he had to handle things on his own. He said to let them know how things went. Trevor's step-sister Katie had come into the waiting room.

"Olivia, Hank."

"Hey, Katie. What's going on?"

"Olive's brother is bringing her in. She's in labor. She called Mom to let her know and said to let you know. Trevor is in court all day."

"Oh, that's right."

"Sure and thanks."

"No problem."

"Trevor is going to be so upset with himself if he misses this."

"No doubt."

"I need to get back."

"Ok. I'll let you know when I find something out."

"Ok."

Katie left and went to the ER.

"I guess I need to head over to the Courthouse to find him."

"Do you have your badge?"

"I do."

Olivia kissed Hank and went to find Olive before heading over to the Courthouse. She knew it was a child custody case and that Judge Linden was the Judge presiding over the case. She found out which Courtroom they were in and went in.

"Do you need something, Lieutenant?"

"I need to speak with Mr. Langan just for a minute."

"Make it fast."

Trevor went out into the hallway with Olivia.

"What's going on?"

"Olive is in labor."

"What! Now?"

"Yep."

"How much time do I have to get there?"

"That I don't know. She was only a couple of centimeters dilated when I left the hospital but you never know."

"I will get there as soon as I can."

"Ok."

Olivia left and then Trevor went back into the Courtroom.

"Is everything ok, Mr. Langan?"

"My wife is in labor, so Lieutenant Voight came to tell me that."

"Do we need to recess?"

"She's only a couple centimeters dilated at the moment."

"We will recess until 9am tomorrow. Will you be here, Mr. Langan or can we expect someone else?"

"Probably someone else."

"Ok. Congratulations, Mr. Langan!"

"Thank you."

Judge Linden gaveled and then Trevor left to head to his car. He ran in to Rafael on the way out.

"How's that custody case going?"

"We are recessed until tomorrow at 9. Olivia came to tell me that Olive is in labor. I will speak to Pete and get him up to date on the case. He'll be taking over."

"If he needs anything, have him call me."

"Yeah, I will."

"Congratulations!"

"Thanks."

Trevor went out to his car and headed to the hospital. He parked the car and went inside. He found out where Olive was and went to her room.

"There he is."

"Here I am."

Trevor kissed Olive.

"Pete, you need to take over this case though. We are recessed until 9am tomorrow."

"No problem. We can wait until after Ollie delivers before we talk about it if you want. You have enough on your mind right now."

"Thanks. If you need anything after we talk, contact Rafael Barba."

"Ok."

Diana was out of surgery and things had gone well. Hank, Olivia, Al, Meredith, Trudy, Mouch and Shauna joined Olive and Trevor's families in the waiting room.

"How's Diana?"

"She's doing fine. Ed went to be with her and the rest of his family went back to the Pub. The kids are staying with Ed's sister Erin for the night, since Ed said he was planning to stay here. His mother is planning to stay with them after tonight."

"Good. Trevor is here."

"Oh, good."

Then Erin and Jeff came in.

"Anything yet?"

"She's only a few centimeters."

"How's Diana?"

"Everything went well. How are things going?"

"We were here with a vic anyway, so we told Fin we'd check on things."

"That works."

Jeff kissed Shauna and rubbed her belly.

"Have you two found out what you're having yet?"

"We do know. We're having a son and leaning towards naming him Ian Jeffrey. I was kind of hoping for a girl but he was hoping for a son for obvious reasons. We may try for one more after this one."

"Katie and Josh are having a son too. I think they want to name him Caleb Joshua."

"That is a great name."

"Babe, how'd the first day of school go?"

"They were all fine. I was a wreck. This is his first day of Kindergarten, so of course I had to be emotional but I have been an emotional mess lately anyway. Your parents were looking forward to having sometime with just Katie."

"For the most part, they did that while Beth was in Preschool but it has gotten a little more chaotic lately."

"It has and it will get more chaotic once the baby gets here."

"No doubt."

"Are they in the same class?"

"They are."

"We get to go through that next year with Noah. How did the first day of Preschool go for Daniel?"

"He seemed to enjoy it."

"Rachel loves school and she was actually looking forward to going back. Noah not so much. Kara really wanted to be here with Ed but he didn't want her missing the first day of school. He had hoped the distraction would have been good for her. She has Kelly and all their friends with her, so that helps."

"Our kids had mixed feelings about starting at a new school."

"That's to be expected. Did you call your brother?"

"I did. He said to keep him posted and he will stop later. Aunt Adrienne said she'd come by later too. She's the one that called me in the first place."

"We figured as much. I think she had a meeting this afternoon anyway."

"We're hoping once Jess makes up her mind about whether or not she's moving here, they'll either live with us or she'll find a place close enough that Daniel and Mia can be in the same school. It would have been easier for her to relocate before the boys started Kindergarten but she wanted them to be able to mourn their dad before completely uprooting them from their lives there."

"She just needs to watch for how they do that."

"Oh, yeah. Nicole has seen it as a teacher. Kids have different ways of dealing with things and it could impact their schoolwork because it could just hit them at any time."

"I see it all the time too especially when the child is abused and they need to deal with what they have been through. Brandon is a good example of that. The first night he was with them, he spilled something and his first reaction was to go hide because of what had happened to him in the past. Ed handled it like any "normal" parent would have. He obviously had the crap beaten out of him for doing something similar but Ed reassured him that nothing like that would ever happen to him again."

"It's hard dealing with the child victims sometimes especially when some of the ones we deal with are close in age to my son."

"Exactly. All the kids try our patience sometimes but we just have to deal with it the best we can."

"I can think of two in particular that try our patience."

"I have a feeling things are going to get worse once they bring Maggie home, which is why Trevor wants to take as much time off as he is."

"That makes sense. With Daniel gone for a few hours, then he can spend some time with them, while Olive spends time with the baby. She can then spend time with them while the baby is asleep too."

"Nicole said she wants to stay with them for a while and I'll do what I can too."

"Olivia and I will do what we can to. We could probably keep the kids tonight."

"I'm staying with them tonight."

"Ok.

"The four of us will do what we can to help out as well."

"Ok, good."

"Trevor will pretty much be home once he takes his time off, since he will be working from home, so she isn't totally alone if Jamie isn't there. Like Lucy, she needs time off."

"Lucy still takes care of Jesse, right?"

"Yes."

"What happens if Lucy is off?"

"They'll bring her over before they go in and Hank watches her. His family is in Staten Island, so they're farther than we are. If Lucy is off on a Friday, they will take Jesse over to his parents' the night before and she'll spend the weekend with them. That is what they are planning to do when Amanda has the baby. I don't know if they are planning to stick with Lucy once the baby comes but right now, it works. Lucy doesn't mind and she was very patient with the twins. Jamie seems like she is too."

"She really is."

"We always seem to have backup close by. Al and Meredith are over a lot and so is Ed. I don't expect to see Ed too much while Diana is recovering but once she becomes more mobile, they may be over more and at least she can have some time to recover and not have the kids around. I'm going to check in with Lucy."

"Ok."

Olivia left the room and went to check in with Lucy. She then went to check on Olive.

"How's it going?"

"It could still be a while yet."

"How's Diana?"

"The surgery went well. I'm probably going to go check in with Ed too."

"How was Rachel's first day of Preschool?"

"Fine. No problems."

"That's great. Trevor just checked in with Jamie. Daniel enjoyed his first day too."

"That's what we heard from your dad. Noah could be a different story tomorrow. He's not looking forward to going back at all."

"Sometimes it takes a few days to get back into the swing of things."

"He'll be fine."

"Who is all here?"

"Al, Meredith, Trudy, Mouch, Shauna, Hank and me. Erin and Jeff were here with a vic, so they're here too."

"How long are Trudy and Mouch staying?"

"I think until Sunday. They were staying a week."

"Ok."

"Can you stay with her for a few minutes? I'm going to go talk to your brother about this case, while I'm still thinking about it."

"Of course."

Trevor kissed Olive and then he grabbed his briefcase. He then went to the waiting room to talk to Pete. Once they were done talking, Trevor went back to Olive's room. The doctor was there.

"She is progressing nicely. She's at 6 centimeters. Do you still want to have your tubes tied?"

"Yes, I do."

"Ok."

The doctor left.

"Mom, are you planning to stay with Jess when she gives birth?"

"Yep. We're both going, since someone needs to be with the kids."

"Yeah, true."

"You'll be fine. You'll have Hank, Olivia and Denise."

"I'm not worried about that. I was just wondering. I'll be back to work by then anyway. I figured you would since she has no one else except for her friends."

"She said her friends have been amazing. She knows it'll be hard to leave but she knows a change will eventually be good for all of them. The tension between her and Mark's mother was a little obvious."

"Yeah, it was. She didn't outright blame her for what happened but they barely spoke and she barely spoke to her grandchildren."

"I asked her if she planned to tell them about the baby and she said no. What was the point of that when they don't have much to do with the other 4?"

"I know she was with Mark a long time but I did tell her that when the time is right, I hope she ends up finding someone as amazing as Trevor. I didn't expect to fall in love again so soon after I lost Justin but it just sort of happened."

"Sometimes that's all it takes."

"Hank says that about us too even though it took him a little longer. I never thought I'd ever get married. I was never that good in relationships."

"That was Adrienne too. The guy she's with now, she dated in college but then they went their separate ways. They ended up reconnecting and things seem to be pretty serious now."

"Did he ever marry?"

"He's widowed and he has a couple kids."

"Have they met?"

"Yes and they really seem to like her."

"How old are they?"

"They are teenagers. One is just out of high school and the younger one will be a junior. His wife died 5 years ago, so he has had to get them through the teenage years on his own. He travels for his job, so his daughter, who's the younger one, stayed with Adrienne. I'm expecting a trip to Vegas pretty soon just to get it over with. I doubt she would want a big wedding."

"You don't know that, Mom."

"You're right. I don't."

"I should probably go check on Ed and Diana."

"Ok."

Olivia hugged Olive and then she went to Diana's room. She was still asleep.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"Has she woken up yet?"

"For a few minutes but she went back to sleep."

"If I remember right, I did the same thing."

"Yeah, you did. I just hope the results come out ok. That's makin' me kind of nervous."

"Hank was more of a wreck than I was until we got my results back."

"He did lose his first wife to ovarian cancer, so that was understandable. How's Olive?"

"She's hanging in there."

"Is anyone from my family still here?"

"Shauna is. Jeff and Erin were here to talk to a vic, so they checked in."

Then Shauna came in.

"Hey, Uncle Ed."

"Hey, kid."

"I'm going to leave for a while, so I can go get Eddie and Beth at school. If you need anything, let me know."

"I will."

"Love you."

"Love you too."

Shauna hugged Ed and then she left. Jeff and Erin left after she had checked on Olive.

Several hours later, Olivia was back in the waiting room and it was finally time for Olive to deliver. They took her into the delivery room and got a gown for Trevor. Nicole had joined everyone else in the waiting room.

"They just took her in."

"Good."

Hank texted Erin, Jay, Lucy and Jamie. Katie had come up from the ER and Josh was there as well. When Katie saw Josh, she kissed him and he rubbed her belly.

"They just took her to the delivery room."

"Oh, good."

"Dan, have you ever delivered a baby?"

"I have. One of my grandkids was born during a snowstorm and I knew our daughter-in-law wasn't going to get to the hospital in time even if we had called an ambulance. I had done it before but that one was the most memorable because it was my grandchild."

"Wow!"

"Anyone else besides Josh and Katie?"

"I have. My former partner and his wife were expecting their 5th child and he had asked me to take her to an appointment. We got into an accident and she ended up going into labor. I delivered the baby in the ambulance."

"I've never delivered a baby personally but I remember when Boden's wife delivered in the Squad on the way to the hospital."

"I remember hearing about that."

"Me too."

A little while later, Trevor came in and was holding his newborn daughter in his arms.

"This is Margaret Grace Langan."

"She is beautiful."

"Thank you. She is 8 pounds 4 ounces and 19 inches long."

"She's definitely a Langan."

"She sure is."

"I assume Trevor was a long baby."

"Oh, yeah. He was. He looks just like his dad and pretty much has since the day he was born. His dad was tall too."

"Did his dad have the same blue eyes?"

"He did."

Denise pulled Trevor's picture from the hospital out of her wallet and showed Olivia.

"She looks like her daddy for sure."

Olivia showed Hank and then Dan and Nicole.

"Definitely."

"Sweetie, can I hold her?"

"Sure."

Trevor placed Maggie in Denise's arms.

"I am so glad I got to be here for this moment. I would have understood if you never forgave me."

"I'm glad you're here for this too. For the longest time, I was afraid to become a father because of what had happened to me but I'm glad I get to experience this once and I'm glad it was with Olive. This is scary and exciting at the same time."

"That is a great way to describe it and I went through it 4 times. I was more scared with Pete and Jess. Pete being the oldest and Jess being our first daughter. I was the most as ease with Ollie."

"Ollie was my easiest pregnancy and ironically, Jess was my hardest. Not only that, she was late and the most demanding. She got clingy when Ollie was born."

"We're expecting that with the twins."

"Dan, do you have siblings?"

"Yes. I have 3 brothers. Nicole and I actually expected that we would either have 4 boys or 4 girls. Jessica would have been Jesse if she had been a boy and Olive would have been Oliver if she was a boy. We never found out the sexes of any of them but after already having 2 sons, we figured that was the route we were going. Instead we ended up with 2 of each, which we were happy with."

"Are your kids named after anyone?"

"Peter Michael is named after both of his grandfathers, Chad's middle name is Timothy after one of Dan's brothers, Jessica's middle name is Danielle after her dad and then Olive's middle name is Grace, which is my middle name. Olive did what I did and named her oldest son after both grandfathers."

"He's pretty stubborn like Grandpa Hank."

"Thanks. I love you too."

Olivia started laughing and then she kissed Hank.

"Trevor, she's beautiful."

"Thank you. Would you like to hold her?"

"Sure."

Trevor took Maggie from Denise and gave her to Hank.

"He is such a natural. Can I take a picture and send it to Erin?"

"Sure."

Olivia took a picture of Hank holding Maggie and sent it to Erin. Then she held her and then Nicole held her, while Dan took a picture to send to Jess. Dan, Katie and Josh all held her before Trevor took her back to the Nursery. He went back to the waiting room just as the doctor came out.

"Trevor, her procedure is done and she is now in recovery. If you want to go be with her, you can."

"Ok. Thanks."

The doctor took Trevor to where Olive was and then Hank and Olivia went home. Denise went over to Trevor and Olive's, while everyone else went home. Olivia showed Lucy the picture of Baby Maggie before she left. She then showed Noah and Rachel the picture of the new baby, while Hank fixed something for dinner.

Trevor stayed by his wife's side and even ended up giving his daughter her first bottle. As he was feeding her, he kissed her on the top of her head and wondered how he had gotten so lucky. The nurse had moved the crib into Olive's room, so they could be in the same room. Trevor couldn't wait for Olive to meet their daughter.
