Author's note: An AU third year one-shot taking place during the party after the victory in which Gryffindor won the quidditch cup.
Katie Bell (2)
The atmosphere in Gryffindor Tower was electrifying. A party was being held because the Gryffindor quidditch team won the final game (played against Slytherin) and the quidditch cup. Oliver Wood (a burly brown-haired boy in his seventh and final year) was the happiest of the seven quidditch players because it had always been his dream to win the quidditch cup (since the previous two years, they couldn't because of events conspiring against the team). Oliver watched as Harry lifted the quidditch cup aloft as the rest of their housemates cheered. Fred and George managed to sneak their way back into Gryffindor Tower from having nicked some junk food from the school kitchens, with their best friend Lee Jordan (a dark-sking boy with dreadlocks) helped them set the food and drinks on tables. The Gryffindor chasers, Angelina Johnson, Alicia Spinnet, and Katie Bell had engulfed Harry in hugs as he continued holding the quidditch cup aloft.
"Way to go, Harry! Way to go!" Oliver shouted in an ecstatic voice, patting Harry on his shoulders.
The chasers gave Harry some kisses on his cheek, making him blush because his face was turning red. After he set the quidditch cup on a nearby table, Harry went back to rejoin the celebration. He got some dances with the chasers, but Katie (who had blue eyes and brown hair in a low ponytail) was still so proud of Harry that she planted a kiss on his lips, much to the surprise of their housemates. Harry felt his limbs stiffen and the sensation leaving his body when that happened, and he seemed to be glassy-eyed because he never kissed a girl before. As Katie continued kissing Harry on the lips, almost everybody in the common room cheered in approval. Ginny Weasley (identified by her chest-length flaming-red hair and brown eyes) spotted Katie kissing Harry on the lips and stormed upstairs into the girls' dormitories in tears. Harry was still lost in a trance, resulting in Katie gently leading him over to a couch and had him sit down while she sat down next to him. Harry leaned back on the couch, but he was still in a daze.
"Harry, you okay in there?" asked Katie, gently shaking him to bring him back to reality.
Harry finally came out of his daze, but he was blushing as much as Katie. It was like the kiss was all a dream for him, but he finally realized that Katie kissing him on the lips was real. Oliver sat down next to Harry and put an arm around his shoulders just as Angelina (a dark-skin girl with brown eyes and dark-brown hair in a bun) and Alicia (who had blonde hair in braids and hazel eyes) sat down in front of Harry, Katie and Oliver. Fred sat down next to Angelina while George took a seat next to Alicia.
"That was an impressive reaction, Harry," Oliver told him in a surprised voice. "You looked like you were out of it after Katie kissed you on the lips."
"I wasn't expecting a moment like that to be reality," said Harry. "People like me tend to have rotten luck, it's like danger is around the corner no matter what I do or where I go."
"Don't worry about that, Harry," Katie told him in an encouraging voice. "Focus on having fun celebrating the quidditch cup with us."
Katie gently pulled Harry closer and kissed him on the lips again to help distract him from his rotten luck. The rest of their teammates cheered for them by clapping their hands while smiling. Harry's dormmates even congratulated Harry on getting that kiss from Katie before giving her some as well, making Harry and Katie blush once more. Harry and Katie got up and followed their teammates to rejoin the celebration.
'Maybe being with Katie won't be such a bad idea!' thought Harry. 'I never would've known otherwise how great she is when it comes to kisses.'
The End!
