Author has written 53 stories for Teen Titans, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Jurassic Park, Avengers, X-Men, Avengers, and Young Avengers.

So much has changed in the last few years!

I've really been blessed to have worked with some great writers the last little while, particularly Canucklehead Cowgirl, who has launched an entire universe with me based on Marvel comics where we fix what's wrong with comics and also make our crackships happen, yay! The main thing that you should take away from this profile is that you should read the 714 Universe, which I've outlined below for ease of access.

Also, she and I are now writing Real Life books together under the shared pen name C. C. Robbie because we're hilarious. The first book under that name released May 2019 and is called The Last Blaze.

If you want to follow me on tumblr, I'm magnetocerebro. If you want to read my Real Life books, I've got two series running right now. One if the Halfsie Series, the first book of which is called "Rebel Rendezvous." The other is the Scaleshifter series, and the first in that series is called, well, "Scaleshifter." Scaleshifter is by far my most popular. I also have two books, "Lady Thief" and "Birthright Unknown," that I published in college, so, you know, be aware.

My husband and I tried for years for kids, and I wrote down our experience in an attempt to help people understand what infertility feels like, and what to say and what not to say to childless couples. It's called "We Still Don't Have a Miracle Baby: When 'Someday' Feels Like a Four-Letter Word." Even though we've since been able to adopt and had a "miracle pregnancy" after that, I still feel like it's important to preserve what I was feeling in the darkest times of that frustration.

The 714 Universe

So, as you know, Marvel has been screwing up some of its best characters lately. Also, Kate Bishop and Kurt Wagner are totally the best accidental crackship of all time. Therefore, CC and I are totally running with this thing.

The 714 is our attempt to give our characters the chance to be happy and to fix a lot of the things that are making them unhappy in the first place... and then to throw adventures and danger at them, because let's be real. They're superheroes.

Everything starts when Wolverine returns from the dead and runs into Kate Bishop, who invites herself along to his nonsense. Of course, no return from the dead would be complete for Wolverine without his best friend, Nightcrawler, and when Kurt and Kate hit it off, well, Logan's just glad to see his friend happy.

But things only get better (and sometimes worse) from there as these three settle into their lives at the Xavier Institute. There is romance. There is danger. There are aliens, robots, politicians, tracksuits, magic... you name it, they face it.

The X-Men continue to grow into their own families as time goes on, and we even get to bring in a second generation of soon-to-be heroes! X-Men like Scott and Jubilee each get their own families... and even Kate's mentor, Clint, is getting into the spirit of leaving a legacy!

The next generation of X-Men is pretty amazing, too, and as the older generation works to set up a safe world for them, these kids do their best to live up to the impossibly large legacies of their parents.

((This list is in reading order if you want to move chronologically.))

Side Story: When Scott Met Annie

Set before most of the events of the 714, this is the story of how Scott Summers went from leader of the X-Men with Emma Frost to being engaged to a schoolteacher in Anchorage, Alaska, away from the superhero life.

(This can be read either before the rest of the 714 or before Volume 3, where Scott is reintroduced into the main story.)

Volume 1: A Wolverine, an Elf, and a Hawkeye Walk Into a Bar

In which our Golden Trio meets up and goes on an epic trip around the world, not only getting to know each other a little better (and setting off the best romance ever) but reintroducing Wolverine to the land of the living!

Volume 2: Dating an X-Man is Hazardous to Your Health

In which Kate Bishop finds out just what kind of insanity the X-Men have to deal with on a daily basis. Also, we introduce our second crackship, which totally, surprisingly, works.

Volume 3: Kree, Shi'ar, and Skrulls, Oh My!

In which Kate, Kurt, Logan, and Jubilee all get on board Noh-Varr's ship, the Marvel, for some adventures in space. And also there is Scott Summers. No, not the de-aged version from the current comics. Give us credit. This is the real deal.

Volume 4: Katie, Not Kate

In which Kate is accidentally turned into a four-and-a-half-year-old girl. It is pretty much the cutest thing of all time, and she instantly attaches to Wolverine, her new bodyguard.

Volume 5: Unwilling Weapon

In which Scott gets married, Noh's past comes back to bite him in a big way, Kate freaks out when she realizes she and Kurt have been together for a year, and a character from CC's 906 universe makes a debut!

Volume 6: Potential

In which Noh-Varr and Jubilee are loving the engaged life, but they're the only ones riding high as Scott's lifelong shadow, Logan and K's past tormentors, Kurt's family, and Kate's old archnemesis ALL want a piece of this cake. Our kids're gonna be busy...

Volume 7: Paper Training

After Jubilee and Noh-Varr get married (with a slight pause for intergalactic meddlers because honestly what X-Men wedding ever goes off without a hitch), K and Kate are facing the pressure to tie the knot with their guys. And you might be surprised who blinks first.

Volume 8: Sins of the Father

The Summers twins arrive, and with two weddings on the horizon, life seems pretty good... except for the fact that everyone wants to kill our favorite X-Men. But a new addition to the mansion might just help ease the damage of the attacks against the team.

Volume 9: All the Best (Man's) Plans

There's a wedding scheduled for the end of the year, but the other wedding that's supposed to take place doesn't even have a solid date yet. Can Logan and K's friends convince them to finally tie the knot, or will they need a tiny, tiny push?

Volume 10: Marrying an X-Man is Hazardous to Your Health

Now that Logan and K are married, it's time for Kate and Kurt to take their turn. But it turns out a few bad guys have decided to stick their noses into the newly-forming families, which is going to complicate things for the fledgling next generation.

Volume 11: The Traitor, the Avenger, and the Killer

Jubilee wants to tell Noh-Varr the good news: they're expecting! Unfortunately, the Kree bust up her planned announcement with an invasion, and when Noh, K, and Clint Barton are all taken prisoner in the ensuing war, there is a real possibility that Jubilee, Logan, or Jess might end up raising their kids completely alone.

Volume 12: New Teams, Old Problems

After the Kree invasion, people are looking for someone to blame. And as usual, it looks like the X-Men are bearing the brunt of the public ire, to the point that things are getting dangerous for mutants in a way they haven't been in a long time.

Volume 13: Chance for Reunions

With the feral members of the team hidden away in safety, the rest of the X-Men throw everything they have into taking down Department H and dismantling the Weapon X threat... sometimes to the detriment of their own health and safety.

Volume 14: Kate and Kurt's Not-At-All Excellent Adventure

Kate gets to experience time travel for the first time. It's totally something you have to check off your list as an X-Man. But considering her first time travel experience is to a terrible world ruled by Azazel? She'd rather skip this one, thanks.

Side Story: The (Grand)Parent Trap

While the main universe follows Kate and Kurt's time-travelling adventures, Jubilee and Noh also have their own awful future to face: this one ruled by a power-crazed Maria Hill.

Volume 15: Face Your Demons. No, Really.

A new group of teenagers is rising through the ranks and learning to become X-Men, and the older X-Men are settling down with beautiful families. But with all the new faces, an old enemy is still poking his nose in.

Side Story: Adventures with Cable

Shortly after K and Logan's second baby is born, Cable shows up and asks K to help him with a universe in which she is still working for the department. Kate comes along, of course, because they need a girls' trip.

Volume 16: A House Divided is Ticked Off

When Emma Frost and the Hellfire Club show up to mess with Scott and his family, they cause some friction in existing couples not just from telepathic abuse but from the fact that they've got a new player in the Club: the Purple Man, who has his own interest in using the X-Men as his lackeys.

Volume 17: Legacy

What does it mean to have a legacy? For the rich and powerful it's as simple as an heir, but it's not that simple for X-Men and Avengers. Aging, kids, hero work... not to mention the usual crap ... if you can call what the X-Men put up with 'usual'.

Volume 18: A Rose for a Kiss

When Scott asks Remy to look into a rash of break-ins, Remy finds a beautiful little sneak thief at work. And while Remy is finding love, the rest of the X-Men are finding family drama.

Volume 19: Stars in Your Eyes

Billy Kaplan is Magneto's grandson. And whether he likes it or not, he's inherited Erik's sense of drama. The problem is, dramatic overreactions just might get him killed.

Volume 20: The Initiative

The MRD is making trouble again, and this time, they're trying to send the X-Men a message by targeting kids with a new device: a weaponized inhibitor.

Volume 21: Trouble Comes in Threes

Logan makes good on his promise to take Leslie Ann to Japan. Meanwhile, Scott is dealing with a flood of people wanting refuge in Westchester.

Volume 22: Star Attractions

Mojo is still annoyed about the X-ladies messing up his plans. So he'll steal their husbands. That oughta work!

Volume 23: Badge of Red

Anti-mutant fervor is reaching a peak again, and some of the younger X-Men (and some of the original X-Men) are about to be reminded of just how far some people will go to destroy them.

Volume 24: Powerless

Kate Bishop is used to being the only human on teams full of powered people. But Chance Summers, whose dad was the first-ever X-Men, is about to get a rude awakening when he realizes he's like her too.

Volume 25: Head Games

For years, Logan has been trying to put Sabretooth on the rear view mirror, but it's not until he accepts help from his family and friends in this fight that EVERYTHING changes. But it's not just Sabretooth they're up against.

Volume 26: Foreign and Domestic

Not every X-Men problem sticks to the confines of Westchester and New York. Some of them are in space, and some are even as far away as Canada!

Volume 27: Don't Be in Such a Hurry to Grow Up

Some of our second generation of X-Men are about to get their powers, but how they get them leaves the kids feeling like they got the raw end of the deal.

Volume 28: The X-Men's Guide to Dealing with Bullies

Now that the kids are getting old enough to attend the Westchester school, they're faced with a whole new set of issues: navigating the other kids who think they are only in the school because of their parents.

Volume 29: What Did You Do This Summer?

Remember when the X-Men were younger and their days were full of teenage angst? TIME FOR ROUND TWO.

Volume 30: Coming of Age

When Cody Summers starts coming into his powers, Scott can't hide his excitement. This is, after all, the first time that he'll be able to raise a child with his powers! Up until now, he's raised telepaths, an empath, and (in Chance's case) a human. But this time around? Cody's powers are something he knows how to handle.

Volume 31: Space Race

Sying-Varr ran away to space to get away from heartbreak, but when he accidentally runs right into the arms of the Shi'ar, he gets more than he bargained for. Meanwhile, the second generation of X-Men are starting to join the team... but it's harder to get in than they thought it would be!

Volume 32: Together or Not At All

After Sying-Varr's months of enslavement by the Shi'ar, he's still struggling to return to life in Westchester, even as the others his age are joining the team and having new adventures... without him.

Volume 33: Hands Off, Viper

Gerry Drew is a lot like his mother, and that's caught Viper's attention. When she decides to take him under her wing and teach him how to be like her, an intense rescue effort gets underway. Every day with Viper is one day too many, after all.

Volume 34: Charlie

The Summers family is in trouble all the time, and Charlie wants to do something to help. But when her idea goes a little bit sideways, her big brother, Nate, steps in to help.

Volume 35: Shut Your Mouth

The international push for "weapons" made out of mutants is heating up, and the X-Kids are getting caught in the crossfire. What's worse, Sinister is using the chaos as cover for new ways to upset the Summers family.

Volume 36: A Series of Unfortunate Decisions

The X-Kids seem to have a knack for picking relationships that are absolutely the worst for them. Elin's found a pushy guy, Krissy's dating an ex-weapon, and Chance is getting caught up in Viper's (former?) apprentice. Their parents want to let them make their own mistakes, but man, is it hard to watch.

Volume 37: Not Your Fault

Remember those bad dating decisions? Yeah, they have consequences. Really, really, really bad consequences.

Volume 38: I'm Not Giving Up on You

After the terrible events of the previous volume, the X-Kids are trying to piece themselves together. Sying and Krissy are dating but dealing with their own traumas. Chance and Elin are trying to date but keep putting each other before their own needs... it's a mess.

Volume 39: Approval

Now that the right couples are together, what will they have to do to stay together?

Volume 40: The Weddings of the Century

FLUFF. FLUFF EVERYWHERE.

Volume 41: Horsemen

The X-Men and Avengers have both been ignoring some pretty big blinking warning signs. And they're about to pay the price.

Volume 42: Crash and Burn

After Apocalypse ravaged the team, the X-Men have to pick up the pieces. And that's easier said than done.

Side Story: What Billy Saw...

WARNING: THIS ONE IS SAD. In an alternate universe, one that Billy saw as the Demiurge, things go just about as wrong as things could go. This one can be read as a standalone, but it can also be read as alongside the 714, as it crosses over with Volume 42.

Volume 43: Stupidity Rising

Apocalypse emboldened extremists on both sides of the human/mutant divide, but the X-Men are still just trying to figure out how to recover from their recent traumas.

Volume 44: Eternal Summers

Sinister has plagued the Summers and Howlett families for decades and thinks he has a say in the third generation too. That's got to stop.

Volume 45: Young and In Love

While Chance figures out the downsides to healing, the younger siblings of our main heroes are starting to figure out romance.

Volume 46: A Girl and Her Kree

When Jubilee and Noh escape to Hala with their family for the holidays, drama predictably follows them, as it always does when they go to space.

The 907 Universe

So, this one started out on CC's profile as an exercise in seeing where Scott and Logan went wrong in their relationship with each other and has continued to grow, with an adorable teenage Scott getting totally adopted by Logan and then by K, CC's love interest for Logan who is the best ever. And of course, once we introduce Charles Xavier and the X-Men, that really sort of changes... everything, honestly. This is mostly directed by CC, and I help a lot with Scott because he is my favorite X-Man, so I'm a cowriter, but, like, 70/30 split here, y'all.

Part 1: What If ? Episode 907: Logan, memoryless and fresh off of leaving the Hudsons, finds a young man in an orphanage being experimented on by a red-eyed creep. And you know he's not going to let that stand. So... save the kid... and then what?

Part 2: The Rise of Cyclops: Now that Scott is officially Logan's son, he wants to do right by his new family... but that means when he can't control his powers, he's a giant red beacon to draw in trouble. So, he turns to Charles Xavier for help.

Part 3: Welcome to the X-Men! We Hope You Survive the Experience: Although Scott is now settling into his new life and new team in Westchester, he and his team have to face the kind of bad guys a bunch of teenagers should never have to face.

Part 4: Fire and Life Incarnate: Scott is pretty sure Jean is the love of his life, so when something new and terrifying awakens within her, he and his family scramble to try to keep her safe.

The 495 Universe

Continuing that vein of taking characters that we like and giving them the home and love they deserve, we decided to do this for Clint Barton. Because Hawkeye.

Anyway, we definitely de-aged him here, as you'll see down the line when he meets up with other heroes who in the comics are younger than him... but he's so much fun as a little kid and we like this dynamic better.

Part 1: On the Run Together: Clint, running away from abusive foster home situations, runs into K, who is herself running away from Department H. They team up together, but they can't run forever...

Part 2: I Don't Want to Be Saved: Even though Clint adores his new mom, he has to admit, she calls down a lot of trouble. And when Department H is right on their tail... maybe a little superheroic help is necessary.

Part 3: The Prince of the Tower: Living with the X-Men was great and all, but Department H and Sabretooth still found Clint and his new mom. Maybe the Avengers can help keep them safe.

Part 4: Thicker Than Blood: Clint and Barney Barton might not have any powers, but their new family is chock full of them. And that on its own comes with a lot of problems.

Part 5: The Other Tiny Hawkeye: When Logan brings home a pair of wayward girls in trouble, Clint has to deal with very suddenly becoming a big brother.

Part 6: Who Needs Powers?: When Sinister takes an interest in what Clint can do and in his one-of-a-kind genetics, Clint can't help being terrified. Who wouldn't be?

Part 7: Defenders of Kindergarten: Matt Murdock had no idea what he was getting into when he agreed to babysit Logan's two adopted girls.

Part 8: Banner Year: Clint has finally worn the X-Men and Avengers down to train him, and he's totally ready to be a hero and stand up for everyone. Including the Hulk!

The 664 Universe (COMPLETE)

You guessed it: we're saving ALL the kids! Okay, within reason. But we definitely feel like with Noh-Varr, his entire introduction to Earth was horrible. And that's something we can fix. So this time, instead of being tortured and kicked around for most of his first memories on Earth, let's set him up with the X-Men right off the bat...

Part 1: Culture Shock: Noh-Varr's ship has crash-landed in this reality. Everyone he knows and loves is dead, and he, as the only survivor, has been captured and threatened with dissection. So it's a good thing the X-Men came to investigate matters... even if dealing with the Phoenix and navigating Earth culture is not that easy either.

Part 2: The Superior Species: Noh-Varr has thrown his loyalty into the X-Men, so it doesn't quite make sense to him that there are so many people out there who think his new friends are anything but heroes.

Part 3: Emotional Manipulation: Noh-Varr is finally settling into his place with the X-Men as well as his relationship with Jubilee. So of course that's when Daken decides a pretty alien is just the thing he needs in his life.

The 867 Universe (COMPLETE)

In 2015-16, I also had the chance to be part of a collaboration that you should totally read called In the End You Always Kneel that's Hunger Games/Marvel. It was a blast to be part of! The sequel, When Blood Calls For Blood, went live at the end of May 2017. Nickenny, who had been leading the charge, had to step back for personal reasons and asked me and CC to take over the fic, so we did. We couldn't just leave all our new writer friends hanging! Now, we're finally closing it out with the third book, Death is Not the End.

At the end of 2016, after ITEYAK ended, CC and I (and a few others) decided to play in that Marvel/Hunger Games universe a little more, since the ending was not at all what we had expected and we had all these IDEAS that we just couldn't let go to waste. So... we're writing a whole new universe there, too. This one's the 867 universe, the first part of which is called There Will Be No Kneeling. Despite the fact that we're taking over the "main" story now, this will keep going, because darnit, we like our Marvel-only story :P We just finished the second installment:

Volume 2: The End of Childish Games: The second Avenger Games, featuring tributes like Scott Summers, Clara Creed, Kamala Khan, Miles Morales, Bucky Barnes, and more.

Volume 3: The Fall of a Titan: With the Quarter Quell behind them, SHIELD declares a revolution against President Thanos, but taking the mighty Titan down is harder than you'd think.

Volume 4: Nothing's Fair in Love and War: Now that Thanos is dead, Hydra is trying to fill the power vacuum he left behind. But our heroes aren't going to let that stand.

Volume 5: Consent of the Governed: In the final installment of the 867, Marvel tries to find leadership after the war... but who will take the presidency?
