"Draco, you're going to kill me," Harry said as he walked into the boys dormitory, noticing said blonde sitting at his writing desk doing homework. Harry scanned the room with his eyes and relaxed a little as he concluded that only him and Draco were in the room.
"Oh?" Draco questioned from where he was working on a charms essay, not looking up from the paper, "Why's that?" he asked casually, expecting a joking answer,
"Because I think I'm in love." Harry blurted out, Draco stilled his writing at Harry's words, then he put the quill down and turned in his chair towards the ex-Gryffindor.
"And why is that reason for me to want to kill you?" Draco questioned, raising an eyebrow, "you're not in love with Neville, are you?" he joked a little bit, but at the almost panicked expression he saw on Harry's face he knew this was something serious.
"No, it's worse…" Harry paused and took a deep breath, "Your father. I think I'm in love with your father." Harry finally said really quickly. He closed his eyes and waited for some sort of backlash, but when he just heard a quiet chuckle, he peaked one eye open to look at him, "Why are you laughing?"
"Because I could tell," Draco said easily, he grinned when he saw Harry relax a little bit but then blush furiously.
"You… you don't think he could tell… do you?" Harry wrung his hands together. Draco got up from his seat and went over to Harry, placing his hands on the boys shoulders for comfort,
"Oh, I doubt it," he said soothingly,
Harry sighed and relaxed just a little bit more. "I'm sorry…"
"Don't be, we can't always help who we fall in love with, right?" Draco heard Harry snort a little bit in response,
"You could say that again…"

Harry and Abraxas were in potions, the two were working together like they had done every potions class this year.
It didn't take more than a month or two for the two men to fall into an easy groove while working. It was like they moved as one, in sync and out of each others way at the same time. Severus had been noticing his deaged friends demeanor change over the last couple of months. He had asked Draco about it, but the younger blonde had simply laughed and said,
"Oh, Abraxas is in love."
Severus blinked a couple of times… What did he just hear?
Severus had been Lucius' best friend since they were first years, and if he were honest, at times he thought the blonde simply didn't feel romantic attraction...
"in… love?" Severus questioned, furrowing his eyebrows, "Draco, you must be mistaken."
Draco snorted derisively, "Don't believe me? Just watch him next class."
So, Severus had done just that. He watched Abraxas subtly throughout the class and he was quickly coming to a surprising conclusion.
It was towards the end of class now. The two Slytherins were talking as they waited for the potion to finish its last little bit of brewing. Harry was snickering quietly at the story Abraxas was telling him when they both jumped a foot in the air as a voice rang out behind them.
"Mr. Malfoy, Mr. Potter… What appears to be so funny over here?" the potions master asked with a drawl, hiding an amused smirk at the way the boys jumped.
"Oh! Nothing!" Abraxas answered almost instinctively. Before he was deaged and Severus told him that the students were afraid of him, he didn't really get it… But now that he was 16 and one of Severus' students? He totally understood it now.
Harry muttered something under his breath which Severus couldn't hear, but judging by the way Abraxas had to fight bursting out laughing, he had said something rather snarky.
"Maybe you two should focus a little less on flirting with each other," Severus started to drawl as he went to walk away, "and a little more on your now burnt potion."
"What?!" Both the boys jumped and turned back to their assignment at the comment, groaning when their supposed to be lime green potion looked like tar in their cauldron.
Severus rolled his eyes as he walked towards the other side of the classroom. He locked eyes with Draco on his way, and they shared an almost imperceptible nod before they turned back to their respective tasks.
Abraxas was in love all right, Severus thought, and to Harry Potter no less. He shook his head at his friends predicament, but was excited to see how it all played out.

Neville Longbottom was sitting in the Slytherin boys dorms with his boyfriend. Draco had his head in Neville's lap while the Gryffindor played with his hair.
"So, you're telling me that both of them have come to you about being in love," he started, looking down at Draco,
"Yup." Draco hummed
"And that Harry for sure is in love with Abraxas,"
"Right again,"
"And we're pretty sure Abraxas is in love with Harry."
"Quite so."
"But you're not going to tell them?" Neville was perplexed by the situation,
"No, I'm not," Draco hummed easily, he opened his eyes to look up at his boyfriend, "They need to figure it out for themselves."
"You're mean," Neville laughed.
"And vile" the blonde grinned up at him, "on a more serious note, if I tell either of them about the other's feelings, they won't believe me," he shrugged, "plus, while I'm pretty sure Abraxas loves Harry, he never did say a name when he told me he was in love. It could be somebody else."
"Who else could it even be?" Neville laughed, "the two of them are inseparable. The only other people that either of them are ever around are you, Blaise, and Pansy. Pansy is out of the question because they're both gay, you're out of the question because you're family, and even if Blaise were queer, he's not either of their types."
"Hey, I didn't say that I thought it was somebody else," Draco chuckled,
"So, for real, you're not going to tell them?" Neville raised his eyebrow,
"For real, I'm not going to tell them."

Harry hummed as he walked through the common room on a warm Sunday afternoon. He had some of his flying gear hung over his shoulder,
"Hey, Harry" his friends chorused when they saw him enter the room, Harry gave them a grin and a tip of an imaginary hat before coming over to sit with them for a moment.
"Hey guys," Harry looked around his group of friends as he sat down on the arm of the couch Abraxas and Draco were sitting on, "what are we all working on today?"
"arithmancy" Blaise, Pansy, and Draco said at the same time in the same miserable voice, Harry couldn't help but laugh. He looked next to him and nudged Abraxas,
"And what about you?" he grinned,
"Oh, I'm just here for emotional support," Abraxas chuckled. He had finished all of his homework for that weekend already, so he had today free.
Harry tutted his tongue, "Well, I better let you guys get back to your work," he said as he stood,
"and where are you off to, Mr. Potter?" Draco raised an eyebrow at his friend, Harry gave him a crooked carefree smile,
"The quidditch pitch. It's a beautiful day for flying and I need some air time." Draco nodded his head, he looked like he was about to say something in response but Abraxas cut him off,
"Can I come with you?" the long haired blonde asked, standing up from his seat. Harry turned his crooked smile his way and Abraxas wondered why he could feel his heart beating in his ears.
"yeah, that sounds great!" Harry's grin grew, he took Abraxas' hand in his and began pulling him towards the exit, "See you guys later!" he said over his shoulder to their friends, Abraxas trailing behind him.
Harry and Abraxas made it to the pitch and Harry went towards the broom shed while Abraxas made his way into the stands. Abraxas loved watching Harry fly. He moved through the air with such ease and grace it always amazed him. He watched Harry come out of the broom shed with his broom in hand and then take to the sky.
Abraxas was content just sitting back and watching, but after about an hour and a half, Harry flew up to him. He stepped off of the broom and onto the stands easily,
"Do you fly, Abraxas?" He asked, sitting down next to the blonde.
"Who? Me?" Abraxas asked, he chuckled and shook his head, "No, I don't fly. I mean, I know how to fly, but it's just… been a very long time since I was last on a broom."
Truth be told, the man was petrified of heights, had been since he was a small child. He had managed to get over it long enough to learn how to fly, so that he had the skill if he needed it, but he really had no intentions of ever getting back on a broom after that.
"Do you want to change that?"
"I don't think that would be a good idea. I wouldn't want to ruin your broom- or my body, for that matter," he joked, looking over at his friend. Harry gave him a smile that Abraxas thought was going to make him weak at the knees,
"Why don't you ride with me?" he offered, "You can sit behind me and hold on, and I can do all the flying" he got up from his seat and mounted his broom, ready to get back in the air,
Abraxas had to fight a blush from coming to his face at the idea of riding with Harry. He was going to resist at first, but at seeing the joy in his friends' eyes he didn't want to spoil the moment.
"O-okay…" he finally agreed and climbed onto the broom behind the brunette. Abraxas wrapped his arms around Harry's middle,
"Ready?" Harry asked, when he heard Abraxas say yes, he pushed off and into the air they went.
Abraxas thought he was holding on fine, but as soon as they were in the air, he clung tighter to Harry, scared out of his wits. The man was borderline trembling in fear, and he knew that if he opened his eyes he would be stepping right into an anxiety attack. So, he kept them shut and even buried his face in Harry's shoulder for good measure.
Harry felt Abraxas' arms around him and he was really glad the other was behind him so that he couldn't see how red Harry's face was. They were flying for a few minutes when Harry started being able to feel his companion's shaking. Frowning deeply, he peaked over his shoulder and saw that the other had his eyes screwed shut. Harry slowed down and eventually came to a gentle stop, the two of them just hovering in the air.
"Hey," he said to Abraxas softly, he waited patiently and was rewarded only a few seconds later when the blonde opened his eyes and looked up at him.
"I promise," he started softly, placing his arm over Abraxas', almost holding his hand, "I will keep you safe." He finally finished.
It was still for a moment before he felt his friend nod against his shoulder, this time Harry did take Abraxas' hand in his, he squeezed it before starting to fly again.
Abraxas had closed his eyes again almost as soon as they took off, but at remembering what Harry told him, he slowly started to open his eyes. He lifted his head from his friend's shoulder just enough to look around. Abraxas' fear started fading away as they flew, and he was left with a sense of thrill that he hadn't felt since he was a child. He knew he wasn't over his fear, but with Harry around, he felt like he could do just about anything.
They flew for a while longer before Harry brought them back over to the Slytherin bleachers. By the time he got off the broom, Abraxas was laughing in his joy, he grinned wide as he watched Harry climb off the broom to sit next to him.
Harry watched Abraxas and he couldn't help the love that flooded his senses. The sun was starting to set and the way the golden hour bathed the others face in light had him convinced he may just be looking at an angel.
He wanted to tell the blonde that he was gorgeous, and smart, and kind, and so bloody perfect- but he kept his mouth shut. He was in love with Abraxas, but he was afraid that telling him how he felt was a sure fire way of losing what relationship the two already had. He figured so long as he could still be his friend, that was enough for him.
Harry was brought out of his thoughts when Abraxas almost lunged at him and hugged him close. The brunette let out a noise of surprise, but he didn't hesitate to hug the other back.
When they pulled away from the hug, they were both laughing a little. The two caught eyes and Abraxas once again felt like he was suspended in time as he looked into the radiant green eyes in front of him. He felt as a heat spread through his chest, and he couldn't help the quick glance down at Harry's lips that he gave.
Harry was soaking up the moment. He wanted to take in every little detail and ingrain every single one into memory. The way the sunset reflected in the blue eyes, the way Abraxas' hair was messy and tangled from the wind blowing through it, the way it felt like his heart was beating through his chest. He almost missed the quick glance Abraxas gave to his lips, but when he stopped to process what he had just seen, the moment is broken.
"Harry! Abraxas!" came a voice from the front of the pitch. Said men both jumped away from each other and look out to the entrance, where they could now see their friends beckoning them over, "come on, you already missed dinner, let's go!"
Harry looked back at Abraxas and before the blonde had time to register that Harry was looking at him, the raven haired man caught the faintest glimpse of longing in his friends eyes. As soon as the blonde realized that Harry was looking at him, the look in his eyes changed. Harry stopped and just stared at Abraxas for a moment, trying to figure out exactly what he had just seen,
"I guess we should get going…" Abraxas finally said, Harry blinked a couple times before he nodded his head,
"Yeah… I guess we should…" the two of them stood after that and made their way to the front of the pitch where their friends were waiting for them.
By the time they reached the group, Harry was lost in thought, but he was brought out of it when he heard Draco speaking to the other blonde,
As the two came closer to them, Draco could see the way his father's hair was tangled and knotted. He was confused at first, his father never let his hair get like that- But then he's struck with a thought and his eyes widened just a bit,
"Oh my god… Abraxas… did you fly?" his voice is astounded. Harry wondered why he sounded so amazed. Sure, Abraxas said it has been a while since he last flew, but was him flying really that big of a deal?
Abraxas gave Draco a grin and just nodded, almost bouncing on the balls of his feet,
"And… you're okay?" he asked his father hesitantly, looking for any signs of him hiding panic. He had known his father was petrified of heights since he was probably a toddler, so he was a little dumbfounded when he just saw that same excitable grin and nod thrown his way.
"Okay, I hate to be that guy," Blaise spoke up from his place next to Pansy, "but why exactly is it a big deal that he was flying?" Draco turned to his friend like he was the weird one,
"Because he's been petrified by heights his entire life," Draco explained easily, Blaise gave him a nod at the answer, satisfied with what he's been given. Harry, on the other hand, was just becoming more confused.
It was then that the friend group started back up towards the castle. Harry wasn't paying attention to the conversation that was going on around him, he was too lost in thought to hear anything they were saying.
He was thinking about Abraxas, and the moment they just shared, and the look in his eyes, and the way he let Harry take him flying despite being terrified of heights.
Harry was beginning to wonder, for possibly the first time, if maybe his love for the other wasn't so unrequited, after all.
