Chapter 14-Their plan

No P.O.V

The gate to a community opened in the early morning. Two men walked through the gate and into the community. In the community stood trailers. The two men walk to the one house and knock on the door. The door opens, and a woman looks at them. The woman stood tall with red hair and blue eyes. She had a scar on her cheek and carried a handgun at her hip with a bowie knife beside her. "Ma'am. We have located a community," The first man says.

"Have you now. Did you get rid of the other problem?" She asks.

"Yes, Ma'am. They have been killed, and their supplies are being unloaded as we speak," The second man says.

"Good job," The woman says as she steps out of the house. "You did good, Roy and Ethan."

"Thank you, Ma'am," They both say.

"Go eat," The woman says. They both nod as the woman walks away. The woman walks to the south wall and knocks on the trailer. The door opened, and a man stepped out. The man was over 6 feet tall with short blond hair and black eyes.

"What do you want, Ivy?" The man asks.

"I could kill you for that, Leo," Ivy says with a smirk. "They found more."

"Did they?" Leo asks. "How many?"

"I was about to go talk to them. Figured you would want to come," Ivy says to Leo with a smile.

"Lead the way," Leo says as he follows her.

Daryl's P.O.V

Daryl opens the door and sees Luciana on the other side. "Hey, what's up?"

"Can you come with me? I want to look at something," Luciana says. Daryl nods as he goes into his room and puts his coat on, and grabs his crossbow. Daryl follows Luciana to the gate, and they leave the stadium. Daryl and Luciana walk through the snow until they get close to the woods. Daryl stops when he sees tire tracks and footprints. "I thought I saw it last night, but I wasn't sure," Luciana explains. Daryl frowns as he looks at them. He bends down on one knee. "Do you think these are the same people who killed those people at the camp?" Luciana asks him.

"Yeah, I do," Daryl says as he stands up. "Fuck," He mutters under his breath. "Seems like our time of peace may be over," Daryl says as he walks back towards the stadium. Luciana follows him.

Ivy's P.O.V

Ivy and Leo sit across from Roy and Ethan, who stop eating and look at them. "Sir, Ma'am," Roy says.

"How many people were there?" Leo asks.

"We don't know. We couldn't see inside. We only saw a woman on watch," Ethan explains.

"Where are they held up?" Ivy asks.

"The baseball stadium near Round Rock," Roy replies.

"That isn't a bad place to set up at," Leo says. "That is all you know?" The two men quickly nod their heads. "Continue eating," Leo says to them as he stands up with a frown and walks away. Ivy follows him. "This is nothing, Ivy. We know nothing," Leo tells her.

"Then we find things out," Ivy replies. "We have our ways of getting information, Leo."

"That is your problem. Tell me when you find something," Leo says before he marches off. Ivy sighs as she walks back to her home.

Shane's P.O.V

The group sat where they would eat and listened to Daryl as he explained what he found. "You think they are coming after us?" Arthur asks.

"I don't see why they wouldn't," Daryl replies. "We don't know how many of them there are."

"We can't sit on our asses and do nothing. We should track these assholes and kill 'em," Merle proposes.

"Like Daryl said. We don't know how many there are. There could be dozens, and we would be slaughtered," Glenn argued.

"Then what do you think we should do?" Merle asks the man.

"We double our watch and patrols until we can figure something out. Going in their guns a blazing will only get us killed," Glenn replies.

"Glenn's right. We don't know enough about them. We have to keep our eyes out and wait. We can't do much else," Hershel agrees.

"You all can sit on your asses and do nothing. I'm going to do my own shit," Merle says before he stands up and walks away. T-dog and Lexie stand up.

"We'll go with him and makes sure he doesn't do anything stupid," Lexie says. They nod as Lexie and T-dog follow Merle.

"Okay, okay, for now, let's have a group of four patrol the woods around us and make sure nobody is around. Alicia, Ofelia, Daniel, and Abraham will do that," Madison says. The four nod as they stand up and walk away.

"The rest of us will stay and make sure everything is ready just in case we are attacked," Shane says. The group nods as they leave.

T-dog's P.O.V

T-dog and Lexie follow Merle on the side of the road as he follows the tire tracks. Nobody has said anything since they left the stadium. "We don't even know where they could be. We could be walking for days," Lexie says to the older Dixon brother.

"If we don't see anything in the next few hours, we'll start to head back," Merle says as he treks through the snow. "You two didn't need to come. I can handle myself."

"We know," T-dog says. "But safety in numbers and all that." Merle nods as they continue to walk in silence. Lexie glances at T-dog.

"What do you think of this?" She asks him quietly.

"I don't know if it is the smartest plan, but it would be nice knowing where this group is. It might give us an advantage over them, and we could use that," T-dog says.

"We don't even know if this is the same group. We are guessing," Lexie argues.

"I know, but even if it isn't the same group, this could be another community, and we could use more friends," T-dog replies, and Lexie slowly nods as the three of them continue to walk down the road.

Ivy's P.O.V

Ivy walks into her house and walks into the kitchen. She smiles as she walks up to the woman and wraps her arms around her waist. "How are you today, my love?" Ivy asks as she kisses her shoulder. The woman turns her head and smiles. The woman had brown hair and brown eyes. She was of average height with an average build.

"I am fine. What did those two morons want?" She asks.

"They may be morons, but they are good at getting the job Ellie," Ivy replies. "They found a community. We don't know anything about them, but we'll get the info we need and get rid of them."

"How do you plan on getting more information about them?" Ellie asks after a few moments of silence.

"I don't know yet," Ivy says as she lets her fiancee go. "I'll figure it out," Ivy walks away. Ellie watches her with a sigh.

Daryl's P.O.V

Daryl stood at the top of the stadium. He watched the parking lot and then looked at Carl and Charlie's field were feeding the chickens and cows. Daryl turns around and looks back at the parking lot. "It's good that he has someone his age to talk to and hang out with," Lori says as she walks up to him.

"It's good for both of them. Kids get along better with other kids than they do with adults," Daryl says to her. "How are you feeling?" Daryl asks as he looks at her.

"Good," Lori replies. "Arthur and Hershel have looked at me a few times, and they say that I am doing well."

"Your room warm enough during the night?" Daryl asks her. Lori smiles at the archer.

"Everything is fine, Daryl. If something goes wrong, you'll be the first person I tell," Lori reassures the archer.

"I sound like I'm married to you, sorry," Daryl says.

"It's fine. It's nice," Lori says with a grin. "It's been two months, and I still have problems talking to Shane. I know this is his baby, but I don't want to accept it," Lori explains. Daryl nods as he glances at the pregnant woman.

"Hey, no one blames you for that. He killed your husband. I'd be surprised if you were able to talk to him," Daryl says.

"How have you been? With your nightmares?" Lori asks Daryl. While Daryl and Lori had been sharing a tent. The woman had been woken up many times by Daryl's nightmares, and he told her why.

"I haven't had one for about a week," Daryl replies. "I'm worried that I'm going to have one and scare the kid."

"Having nightmares is natural. I bet she has had a few of her own. I know I have," Lori reassures him. Daryl nods. "I'm going to go check in on the kids," Daryl nods as she walks away.

Alicia's P.O.V

Alicia and Ofelia walk in the front of the group while Daniel and Abraham walk in the back. The group watched around them as they walked through the snow. "These people aren't going to be this close to the stadium," Abraham says to the other three people.

"Well, we have to make sure," Ofelia says. Abraham mumbles something as he continues to follow them. Ofelia looks at Alicia and grins. "So it's been a few months. What do you think of the boys in our group?" Ofelia asks with a teasing smile. Alicia looks at her friend and catches onto her meaning.

"Fuck no. We are not having this conversation," Alicia says. Ofelia laughs at her response.

"Why not?" Ofelia asks.

"Because we aren't. I see them as annoying brothers and nothing else," Alicia says. Ofelia nods and looks forward once again. After a few moments of silence, she glances at Alicia again.

"How do you see me?" Ofelia asks the question quietly. Alicia looks at her.

"You're my best friend," Alicia says to Ofelia, who smiles. Alicia looks back ahead, and Ofelia drops her smile as it turns into a small frown.

Ivy's P.O.V

Ivy walks up to Roy. "Roy," Ivy says. Roy looks at her.

"Yes, Ma'am?" Roy asks quickly.

"I want you to find something for me," Ivy says.

"What would that be, Ma'am?" Roy asks.

"A spy. I want you to find something inside our community that would be able to get into the stadium, join them and get the information we need," Ivy says. Ivy turns to leave.

"Ma'am," Roy says slowly, making Ivy look at him. "I know the perfect person."

"Who would that be?" Ivy asks as she turns and faces Roy.

"...Leo," Roy says after a beat of silence. Ivy steps closer to Roy, who closes his eyes.

"Explain," Ivy says.

"He would be useful to their group as he can help with many tasks, and he would be able to gain their trust over time, and he would already have a story for them," Roy quickly explains with his eyes closed.

"Look at me," Ivy says. Roy opens his eyes and looks at her. Ivy smiles at him. "Good job," With those words, Ivy walks away, leaving Roy shaking as he stands still on the pavement.

Thanks for reading. So we are starting this saga of the story, and these are the villains. There are more people in their community that you will see, and some of the characters are starting to grow closer. As always, suggestions, ideas, and feedback are welcomed. Until next time.
