The Kings Of The Iron Fists.

Ryu was currently meditating a fair distance away from the base. He knew it was risky, but he needed to be alone for a while and needed a quiet place where he could focus. The heroes base was nice and all, but it was still a little cramped, and expanding it was taking a lot of time since they were constantly kept busy by the villains. So Ryu decided to leave the base for a bit so he could meditate in peace. But despite the solitude and silence, he still struggled. He could feel something... a dark and demonic power... and it was tempting his own darker side. The Satsui No Hado, the evil power that Ryu had spent most of his life trying to rid himself of. Something was trying to tempt him in to giving in to the darkness, but the strange thing was, it wasn't another user of the Dark Hado. At first, only Akuma could tempt Ryu to give in to the Dark Hado, but this was different, it was not the Dark Hado, but something else entierly.

Ryu was trying so hard to focus, but it felt like something was clawing inside his mind, telling him it was their destiny to fight. Ryu didn't understand what it meant, and in the middle of his confused and stressed state, he did notice someone was approaching him. It was a man with black hair swept into a spike at the back of his head, and his left eye was glowing red. This was no ordinary man... this was Kazuya Mishima, a member of a cursed blood line, motivated only by a hunger for power and a deep desire for revenge.

Ryu finally snapped out of his struggling meditation as he sensed Kazuya approaching, he stood up and turned around "Who are-".

Before he could even finish he had to block a punch from Kazuya but being caught of guard he couldn't block the second blow which made him stagger back. He jumped back to gain some distance and give himself a little more time to gather himself. He noticed who had just attacked him. Ryu had no idea who Kazuya was, but just looking at his eyes was enough for Ryu to know that he was facing a very dark soul. He also knew words would be pointless, so she got in to his fighting stance. Kazuya smirked and did the same.

Kazuya charged at Ryu, who quickly put his hands together "Hadoken!".

Kazuya ducked underneath the projectile before delivering a strong uppercut. Ryu was sent upward by the force of the blow but performed a back flip and landed on his feet, Kazuya was strong, very strong. Kazuya charged back in for another powerful punch, but this time Ryu was ready and blocked the blow, before quickly countering with a punch to Kazuya's face before delivering a jumping kick to Kazuya's chest, making him slide back. Kazuya didn't seem to bothered as the evil smile hadn't left his face. The clashed once again, each of them trading punches and blocks, the sheer force of their blows making loud notices that echoed through the area. Ryu was forced on the defensive as Kazuya unleashed a brutal combination of punches and kicks, making it difficult for Ryu to predict his line of attack. Finally, Ryu found a small opening in Kazuya's offence, and managed to counter with a strong punch to Kazuya's gut before quickly following up with a uppercut to Kazuya's jaw... it was meant to be a Shoryuken, but to Ryu's shock, Kazuya managed to withstand the blow and grabbed Ryu before delivering a punch to his chest, which sent him sliding back.

Kazuya looked at him for a moment before he finally spoke, in Japanese "Your blows are weak. Which means you are holding back. It's really insulting".

"What?" Ryu asked, though it was true, he was holding back, but not because he didn't take Kazuya seriously, but because the Dark Hado was constantly pushing to break free. If Ryu allowed his desire for victory to grow to strong, it would allow the Dark Hado to break free.

"I can feel the power inside you. A power I want. The power you are trying so hard to hold back. Such foolishness, such power is wasted on the likes of you. Only I am worthy of it" Kazuya said darkly.

"The Dark Hado is a evil power. It corrupts your soul and destroys your humanity. I've seen first hand what it does to those who fully gives in to it. It's not worth it" Ryu argued, still struggling to focus.

Kazuya chuckled darkly "Do I look like I care about my humanity? I sold my soul a long time ago. Power is what separates the strong from the weak. It's simply the truth about reality. The strong lives, the weak dies. I survived, I am powerful. You are nothing but a weakling pretending to be strong".

Ryu could feel his anger growing. Which was strange, given he had trained to not allow enemy taunting to get to him. But this man, Kazuya. Something about him just made Ryu so angry, and filled him with a desire to just beat him... to crush him. Ryu grabbed his head in agony, the Satsui No Hado was getting stronger, it wanted out... it wanted Ryu to unleash it's full power, so he could kill Kazuya where he stands, to spill his blood across the ground, and burn his corpse with hellish flames... these were not Ryu's thoughts. He did not want to do any of that, but the Dark Hado wasn't giving him much of a choice.

"Even your own power rejects you. I will make better use of it" Kazuya said.

"SHUT UP!" Ryu roars as evil energy flared out of him.

Kazuya smirked, looking a little more excited now "There it is. Show me your true power. So I may claim it for myself".

Ryu growls like an angry beast, and was about to grant Kazuya's request... but a glowing golden light appeared behind him before he was struck in the back. Pure healing chi was forced through his body, pushing back the darkness and knocking Ryu out cold. Behind him stood Danny Radd, AKA Iron Fist. He had used his chi to help purge Ryu of the Dark Hado. It was only temporarily, and Danny was lucky Ryu hadn't been fully consumed or it might've not even worked.

"Ryu!" Came the voice of Ryu's best friend Ken Masters as he ran up to Ryu's unconscious body before glaring at Kazuya "What the hell did you do to him, you bastard!?".

Kazuya looked annoyed by the interruption "Interfearing may prove fatal".

"Ken, bring Ryu back to base. Make sure he is ok, and then send help. I will handle this guy" Danny said as he got between Kazuya and the others.

"You sure?" Ken asked.

Danny gave him a reassuring smile "I got this".

Ken hesitated but nodded "Of course, kick his ass for me".

As Ken picked Ryu up and carried him away, Danny focused on Kazuya "You are a new one. What do you want?".

"What any true fighter wants. Power. That man holds a power he could never hope to control. Only I am capable of taming it" Kazuya declared.

"If you say so" Danny said, now speaking in Japanese, not everyone knew Danny was very fluent in Japanese "To bad I can't allow that to happen".

"Then you have chosen death" Kazuya said before getting ready to fight again.

They charged at each other and clashed fists, creating a mild shockwave. Dany could feel his arm vibrate, Kazuya was hitting with insane force, any normal human would've had their arm shattered, luckily Danny was no normal human. Danny moved quickly and delivered a swift strike to Kazuya's face, following up with multiple punches and kicks pushed Kazuya back before quickly striking Kazuya in the head, stunning him and allowing Danny to kick him back. Kazuya shook his head to regain his focus and caught a followed up punch. He countered with a strong headbutt that staggered Danny and followed up with a solid kick to Danny's jaw. Danny was pushed back a few feet as evaded Kazuya's oncoming assault. Blocking Kazuya's powerful punches wasn't going to do much good, so Danny focused on avoiding and deflecting them. Danny leaps in to the air before coming down with a dive kick towards Kazuya, but it was blocked and Kazuya delivered an uppercut. The force of the blow sent Danny flying before he landed on his back.

Danny remained on the ground unconscious. Kazuya felt like he had wasted time on another weak opponent, and he proceeded to stomp on Danny's body. But right before Kazuya's foot could make contact, Danny suddenly vanished at such speed that no normal human could perform. Kazuya was surprised by this, and was unable to react to the kick that hit him right in the face, making him slide back. Danny did not let up and delivered a barrage of punches at blinding speed. All Kazuya could do was defend his face, but rechived several hits on his body. He growls in anger before letting out a roar as Danny was blown back by an dark aura... a demonic aura.

"You little bastard! I will kill you!" Kazuya growled.

Danny narrowed his eyes before focusing his chi in to his fist. Kazuya charges with rage burning in his eyes, and Danny did the same. Their fists collided, triggering a large shockwave and making them both slide back. Kazuya rubbed his arm... that actually hurt. So this man wasn't as weak as he expected. Not that it mattered. The two clashed again, Danny's chi powered body clashing with Kazuya's demonic enhancements. The power of the Iron Fist Vs The power of the Devil Gene. Each blow shook the area and sent rocks flying. They were evenly matched for several seconds until both finally started landing some blows. They went back and forward, each landing one devastating blow after the other, with both of them starting to bleed.

In the end both landed a hard punch to their opponent's face at the exact same time, causing both to fly back and hit a boulder. Had it not been for their powers, such a blow would've taken their heads of. Both looked at each other, neither of them willing to give up. However, in the distance, Danny allies could be heard. Kazuya growled in annoyance, knowing if was outnumbered it would be quite the nuisance.

"You got lucky this time. But make no mistake, next time I will kill you" Kazuya declared before turning in to a demonic form and flew away.

Danny sighed. This battle was tough, he would need to go all out right from the start if he ever fights Kazuya again. As for Kazuya himself, he flew back to his base. He was a recent arrival in Battlerealm, the result of Maestro's reckless tampering with the barriers between realities. It had resulted with Kazuya's entire headquarters getting pulled to this place, so he still possessed more than enough resources to survive. And he was very interested in whatever power caused all this.

Elsewhere, Tifa was on a patrol, since it was her turn. She wanted to stay at the base and look after Aerith, but she was assured that Aerith would be fine and she needed to contribute to the heroes' efforts against the villains. And patrolling an area for potential threats was important. Sure they had Tony's drones, but most of the drones were used to scout out more important areas. So Tifa had to accept it.

Tifa sighed at this, as patrolling was so boring. But suddenly she noticed something... or rather someone. It was a Japanese teenage girl, sitting by a boulder. She has brown eyes and short brown hair with bangs on the right side of her head. She wears a light blue collared, sleeveless zip-up jumpsuit, with black side panelling and black swallow design on the back, which is unzipped down to her torso, exposing her blue sports bra underneath. The jumpsuit is adorned with a black, two-pronged belt with green stars. On her feet, she is wearing black, blue and purple armored boots with three green stars around the cuff over dark blue and light blue ribbed, striped socks. She also wears elbow-length armored blue, light blue and gray sleeve-like gauntlets with puffy, black banded, white cuffs above her white fingerless gloves. She also equipped herself with blue knuckle guards, elbow guards as well as leg guards.

Judging by the look of her, she had been fighting for a while now. The poor girl likely has no clue where she has been trapped. Tifa always had a soft spot for younger people, so he her first instinct was to help this poor girl "Hey, are you alright?".

The girl gasped before she sprung to her feet and threw a punch at Tifa's face. Reacting quickly, Tifa caught the punch and was impressed by the power behind it, it was clear this girl was a fighter.

"Get away from me!" The girl screamed in Japanese.

"Calm down, I am not here to hurt you!" Tifa said, trying to calm the scared teenager down.

"Yeah right! Ever since I ended up in this strange place I've been fighting robots, goo monsters and I don't even know what those other things were! Now I'm just going to believe you will not try to kill me just because you are a woman?" The Girl demanded.

"And the fact I am human? Look, I've been fighting those monsters out here too, and I am with the people who are fighting to stop them" Tifa said, but the girl didn't seem to believe her "Look, you are tired and scared, I understand. But I swear, I will not hurt you. Come with me and you will be safe, I promise".

The girl finally seemed to relax, Tifa's gentle words proved to be rather soothing "F-fine. But you better not try anything".

"I won't. My name is Tifa Lockhart. Who are you?" Tifa asked.

The girl was silent before she sighed "Asuka... Asuka Kazama".

Tifa smiles "Alright, Asuka. Let's get you back to base where you will be safe".

Asuka nods. Normally Asuka is a very tough girl who isn't scared of anything. But the Battlerealm has it's way to remind everyone how to be scared. As they got ready to walk, Asuka collapsed. She was utterly exhausted... just how long has she been fighting? Tifa had to pick her up and carry her back to base.

More monsters had arrived in the Battlerealm... and more innocent souls has now been caught up in a war they had nothing to do with. Maestro needs to be stopped. Along with all his allies. So all this madness could finally end.

So yes, this whole chapter was to welcome Tekken in to the story. Words can not describe how happy I am to see my favorite fighting game series finally make it in to Smash! Surprised it was Kazuya, instead of Heihachi or Jin as most people expected. But hey! I'm not complaining at all, I like Kazuya and he has been a main character ever since Tekken started.

And like every other guest characters. Since Kazuya is now in Smash, that means every Tekken character is now fair game to be used in this story. So I also wanted to bring in my favorite female Tekken character and have her meet my favorite female Final Fantasy character. And the whole language barrier? I just use the Tekken logic where everyone understands everyone, despite speaking completely different languages.
