Another Problem To The List.
Tony let out a loud sigh. He had just been informed of their new visitor, and from the looks of it, she wasn't from any of the worlds they knew of so far. Meaning another new world had been dragged in to this mess. It was really starting to get old. Just how many worlds had Maestro dragged in to this twisted game of his? And how many more was he planing to drag in? All this madness was really starting to get ridiculous now. And Asuka's arrival meant there were likely villains from her world running around too... which was confirmed when they received reports that an unknown man had attacked Ryu.
"Ok this is really getting stupid! Just how many people are going to show up?" Tony said in frustration.
"Tony calm down" Steve said.
"Oh I am calm, just saying, what next? A boy with a key for a sword? Some animal that can spin like a tornado? Or maybe a armored space soldier shows up with a massive alien army, because we all know we haven't had enough of those!" Tony said, doing his best not to scream "I just want this to end so we can go home...".
There was a silence until Steve noticed something "Tony, when was the last time you slept?".
"I don't need to sleep, I need to come up with a plan to stop Maestro and help everyone to get back to their worlds" Tony said.
Steve shook his head. No wonder Tony was so stressed out and more aggressive with his words "Tony, things have calmed down for now. Take the chance to get some sleep, you really need it. We will wake you if something important comes up. I promise".
Tony looked at him for a moment before he sighed "Right, thank you Steve. A couple of hours should be enough".
As Tony walked away to get some much needed sleep, Dr Light looked at Steve "Good job, Steve. If we are going to stop the villains, we need all of our allies to be at their best".
"It wasn't just for that. Tony is my friend, and I care about his health. But you are right, if Tony plans on solving this mess, he will need some sleep. He can't do this if he is half dead from the lack of sleep" Steve said.
Both of them sighed at that, knowing how hard everyone were pushing themselves. And they had noticed that many were getting home sick. And who could blame them? Being trapped here, away from home and potentially loved ones. Of course they would feel home sick. Steve just hoped they could stop the Maestro in time. And make sure everyone had a home to go back to.
A while later, Asuka slowly woke up after a much needed sleep. Her eyes scanned the room she was in. It was a bedroom, but not her bedroom... meaning everything she went through before wasn't a nightmare after all. She slowly sat up and yawns. Just what had she gotten herself in to this time? Asuka was always known as being a nosy kid who likes to solve other people's problems, usually by knockout. She always had a feeling this habit of hers would come back to bite her in someway, but she didn't expect it to be like this. Ever since she arrived here there was one life threatening fight after another. Hadn't Tifa showed up when she did, Asuka might've been dead by now.
"Oh, you're awake" Speaking of, Tifa herself was sitting on a chair near the corner of the room "Did you sleep well?".
"I guess... did you watch me sleep?" Asuka asked.
"Sorry if that's creepy. I wanted to stay with you so you wouldn't wake up alone. How are you feeling" Tifa said as she stood up and walked towards Asuka.
"Better than before... still a little freaked out though" Asuka admitted.
Tifa smiled sympathetically "I know the feeling. Like you I am not from this world. I was pulled away from my home and ended up here".
"What even is this place?" Asuka asked.
"It's called the Battlerealm. It was created when some even mad man somehow caused realities to merge in to what it is now. It's hard to explain, but the simple version is that a villain caused us to be brought here and we are trying to stop him so we can return home" Tifa explained.
Asuka rubbed her head "Most of that went over my head. But I think I understand enough. Beat the bad guy and we go home, right?".
Tifa nods "That's right. All of us want to go home, but we need each other's help. Non of us can do it alone. Luckily there is a small army of heroes here, all of which are willing to work together so we can stop the villains".
"Well beating up bad guys is a hobby of mine. So I guess I can help out" Asuka said before he stomach began to rumble, making her blush.
Tifa smiled "You must be starving. Good thing Mr. Stark made sure our rooms had the basic tools to make some food. We are also lucky that animals from our different worlds was brought here too, so any skilled hunter could get some meat for us. I have some left overs. I will heat them up for you".
"Thank you..." Asuka said.
"No problem" Tifa said as she prepared the food.
When the food was ready, Asuka began to eat. She was so hungry she almost forgot to chew, and nearly choked, earning her a light scolding from Tifa. Still, the food tasted great, then again Asuka's hunger made her willing to eat just about anything. When she was finished eating, she leans back, feeling a lot better than before.
"Food... what would anyone do without food? Thank you Tifa" Asuka said.
Tifa smiled "You're welcome, Asuka. So... want to get to know each other a little better?".
"Sure. You saved my life, so getting to know you sounds nice" Asuka said. She was curious on getting to know the woman who saved her.
They spent some time talking about different things. What their worlds were like, their friends and what they enjoyed doing. Asuka revealed she was the daughter of a martial artist who ran his own dojo, until it got trashed. As a result, Asuka grew up with Martial Arts, and trained under her father for most of her life, until she arguably became even stronger than him. This fascinated Tifa as she too was a martial artist.
"Wait, you are a fighter too?" Asuka asked "I mean, given your well built physique, I guess that shouldn't surprise me".
Tifa smiled and nods "Yup, I was trained by one of if not the best martial artist in my world. He taught me everything I know, and his teachings came in real handy".
"Ok, now I am curious. Want to spar?" Asuka asked.
"Sure, I'd love to" Tifa said.
With that they got up and Tifa lead Asuka to the training rooms. Asuka still had a hard time not freaking out as all the crazy stuff she saw around her. Talking animals, aliens, and people that claimed to be gods. This was to insane, even for her. But she maintained her composure and they arrived at their destination. The training rooms were really big, with a lot of room for several people to train in without getting in each other's way. These people sure knew how to build stuff.
"Well, looks like we won't have much competition for training space" Asuka commented.
Tifa smiles "There are a lot of martial artists among us. So naturally we would need a lot of space so everyone could get their training in. Even then, many of them prefers to train outside. I guess for the privacy".
"Well good for them. I am fine no matter where I train. But I mostly train in my dojo... until it got wrecked" Asuka said, remembering how her dojo was destroyed and her father was put in the hospital.
"Oh... sorry to hear that" Tifa said.
"I will feel better once I've found the jerk who did it and given him the beating of a life time. Anyway, let's not get hooked on gloomy stuff. I am eager to spar with someone who isn't a monster" Asuka declared.
Tifa smiled at that and got in to her stance "Ready when you are".
Asuka pounds her fists together before getting ready "Let's do this!".
The two watched each other for several seconds Asuka spun in a circle while moving forward, before throwing a strong spinning kick. Tifa managed to block the kick and pushed Asuka back. Tifa dashed forward, unleashing two kicks, which the younger fighter blocked with her arms, but was unable to dodge a strong punch to the gut, making her reel back. Asuka smiled, finally a good fight against another martial artist. Most of her life she only sparred with her father, some other students, and her only real fights were against some simple street punks. Non of which could really put up a solid fight. She had faced stronger opponents before, but those fights were few and far between, and mostly took place within tournaments, which she never really reached the end of.
"You are good" Asuka complimented .
"I'm just getting warmed up" Tifa said with a smile.
Asuka smirked "Good, I would be disappointed if that was all you got".
Tifa smirked back before she rushed back in. Tifa unleashed a quick barrage of punches and some kicks. Asuka was forced back, but she was studying Tifa's fighting style. Seems like Tifa was the type of fighter who preferred to overwhelm her opponents with fast and strong strikes, but would pull back when her opponent would try to to counter. But Asuka wasn't just someone who would try to counter with an offence of her own, she was a slightly different fighter. She waited for the right time and when Tifa went for a strong punch, Asuka quickly grabbed her arm, and used the momentum of Tifa's blow to flip her through the air and slam her down in to the floor.
Tifa rolled away and got back up "You turned my own strength against me. Clever".
Asuka smiled "Focus to much on strength and you will loose".
"Noted. But don't think I will fall for the same trick twice" Tifa said as she was ready to continue.
Asuka got ready as well. But Tifa held true to her words. She didn't try to overwhelm Asuka anymore, instead resorting to using faints to trick Asuka in to believing she was about to attack in one way, only to switch up and attacked with something else. This made her much trickier to predict, and Asuka felt herself being forced on to her back foot. She defended herself the best she could, waiting for an opening. But she realized fighting defensively and waiting for a slip up wouldn't work. She would have to press her own offence to avoid being knocked down. Finally she managed to throw her own punch, but Tifa caught. But Asuka smiled as she suddenly grabbed on to Tifa's arm, pulled her forward, and kneed her in the gut.
To Asuka's surprise, Tifa managed to withstand the blow and grabbed Asuka's legs before tossing her away. Asuka landed on her feet and noticed Tifa rubbing her belly a little. The knee had clearly hurt, but didn't cause any real damage. Not that Asuka was really trying to hurt her, and she could tell Tifa was doing the same. Tifa's blows felt like they weren't as powerful as they could be. Meaning she was holding back.
"You are much stronger than you let on" Asuka said.
"So are you. I actually felt that" Tifa said.
"Stop holding back" Asuka demanded.
Tifa looked unsure "We are just sparring. There is no need to use our full strength".
"No, one needs to try their hardest, even in friendly spars. That way it helps us get stronger" Asuka said.
"Asuka, if I go all out I could accidentally kill you. I am no familiar with how powerful the fighters of your world is yet, so I have no idea how much you can take" Tifa reasoned.
Asuka looked annoyed at that "So you think you are that much stronger than me? That I am to weak to handle your best?".
"That's not what I meant at all" Tifa said sharply.
Asuka sighed and bows her head "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound like such a brat. I just hate it when people look down at me. Either for being a young girl, or because they think I am weak".
Tifa smiled at that "Apology accepted. And I promise you, I don't look down at you at all. You are much stronger than I expected".
Asuka smiled back "Thanks".
"Hello Tifa, who's your new friend?" Both of them looked to see Chun-Li walking up to them.
"Oh hello, this is a new addition to our little hero club" Tifa said, letting Asuka introduce herself.
"Hi, I am Asuka Kazama" Asuka said, not to polite but not rude.
"I am Chun-Li, nice to meet you Asuka. Huh, for some reason I am getting a feeling of Deja Vu" Chun-Li said.
"Yeah, same here. I have never seen you before, and yet it still feels like I know you somehow" Asuka agreed.
"That is strange. Either way, I noticed your little clash with Tifa. If you're up to it, want to try a match against me? I could use a good match, and everyone else is either busy or want to train alone. I trained alone for a while, but nothing helps strengthen me more than training against another fighter" Chun-Li said.
"Hmm, you do look like you will fight me more seriously than Tifa. Sure, I am all fired up, so no way I will back down from a fight now" Asuka said.
"Hey! I was being serious" Tifa said with a pout.
"Don't worry Tifa, I will teach her some manners" Chun-Li said in good nature, showing she wasn't trying to be hostile.
Asuka smirked "Bring it".
Tifa shakes her head as she watched her friends get ready for their own match.
Meanwhile, a young man was walking while holding his head. He is Japanese. He has black hair that spikes at the back of his head, similar to that of, Kazuya. He also sports fringes, similar to another person he knows. He is also notably muscular with low body fat percentage, making it clear he had gone through many years of hard training. One of his most noticeable aspects is the black tattoo-like mark on his left shoulder. But this wasn't just a normal tattoo... it was more of a brand... a cursed brand.
He was breathing hard, feeling like something was trying to pull out his inner darkness. An evil power within him that was screaming to be let loose. He was trying so hard to resist it, but it felt like it was clawing it's way out of his body, desperately wanting to seek out whatever was calling it. He fell to his knees, feeling the pain growing stronger, despite his desperate attempts to resist it.
In the end it became to much and he let out a loud scream as black wings sprung from his back.

To be continued. Just another chapter to further celebrate Tekken's reveal in Smash. What can I say? Tekken is my favorite fighting game and I waited so long for it to finally make it in, after Street Fighter and King Of Fighters made it in. If Dead Or Alive or Mortal Kombat makes it in, I will be more happy. But the chances of that is slim at best so I am not holding my breath.
.
Anyway, please tell me what you think.
