Can you believe it? The kingdom of Hyrule is in peril (again) and so the fabled light spirits of Hyrule have revealed to me that I am the only one who can redeem this land. Me, of all people. They could've picked anybody, anyone else, but no. It had to be me. And get this: they say I have absolutely no choice in the matter. Perfect. Anyway, my name is Link, and this is my story.

Link stared at the waves, his arms fastened around the King of Red Lion's mast. The ocean overwhelmed him, however, he had to do this; it was his destiny. Link stared at the tall trees and impossibly thick woods, eyes wide in surprise and astonishment, calloused hands tightened around Epona's reigns. He was eleven years old, but, this enormous stretch of land, frightened him.

She looked up at the Great Plateau towering above, and back to the boy on the ground. No one could have survived that fall, but she could tell from his groan he had. "Are you okay?" She called. She approached him but kept a hand on her knife. The figure remained still for a moment before he coughed, raised a hand, and formed a wobbling thumbs up. (OC not shipped w/Link)

For as long as the divine trinity have been in endless war with one another, the Shadow Folk have been present. Arc 1: Zelda, Ganondorf, and Link had grown up together. Of course not everything could be so peaceful forever. When his Triforce manifests, Ganondorf is forced to flee or face execution. Zelda and Link join him and together the three struggle to find a way to remain friends and put Demise's Curse to sleep.

The story of what I think botw 2 will be about. (Will be a little violent and dark no swearing.)

Following a bloody and desperate civil war the softened and unwary people of Hyrule are about to be pulled from their comfort. Only a tiny Kokiri and his new guardian fairy stand between it.

For some reason, the Hero has been dying. Across every variation of time, the Hero has been defeated before slaying Ganon. So what does Hylia do? Call in a replacement, of course!

It was his destiny to claim the sword. It was her destiny to seal The Calamity away. But what neither of them realized, was that it was their destiny, to find each other. Though Mipha had been taught the importance of duty, she still struggled to understand why her older brother had to leave. And how was she supposed to understand why he never came back?

How can he miss someone he doesn't know how to remember? How can he ache so much for a soul so distant to him? He doesn't know how to miss her – how to love her – and yet still, he does. Sometimes, it takes falling apart before things can fall back together. An afterthought to Umbra.

When Princess Zelda finds an injured boy in the woods outside Hyrule Castletown, she is surprised to discover that he is mute. The threat of invaders looms over the kingdom, and yet Zelda is concerned with one thing above all else: Will she ever hear the voice of her chosen knight?
