In a clash of blades Kagome gave her life to save Jakotsu and perished. Jakotsu, swearing revenge, with his brother and the Kami as his witness hunts those responsible. After dying trying to avenge the girl who selflessly gave her his life, a final wish from Bankotsu leads to an interesting mesh in Kagome's time. Both are reborn and after suffering and tribulation meet again.
