FIRELINK SHRINE
Izuku stared at the knight who was just sitting and smiling, but his aura screamed danger.
"Take it, don't be shy." Bakugo extended his hand, two black sprites in palm.
"What is this?" Izuku asked cautiously.
"This is a twin humanity, I found it lying around in the Burg...I want you to have it."
"Twin humanity? I thought humanity was the soul of a human, how can someone have two?" Todoroki asked in confusion.
Izuku took them carefully and put them inside his item box to use in case he died. Then, he turned to the Firekeeper.
"Hey, I'm back." He smiled friendly as the girl looked blankly at him.
"That smile can melt ice." Many in the audience thought.
The girl tilted her head and nodded, before going back to stare at the ground.
"I rang the first Bell of Awakening and now I'm going to search for the second. I wonder what will happen when I ring both." The Firekeeper looked back to the young warrior, her eyes wide in shock.
"Now she realizes that Midoriya is the protagonist." Sero laughed.
Izuku looked to the ground, embarrassed in being called 'protagonist'.
"So it was you...I will be watching your journey with great interest." Bakugo chuckled.
"I'm telling you all, Bakugo is going to be the villain." Kaminari said.
Bakugo frowned. "Is that asshole really going to be a shitty villain?" he thinks while looking at his counterpart.
Izuku says goodbye to the Firekeeper and the knight. As he climbs the stairs, the same crow who took him from the asylum lands on the shrine before returning to his usual place, he goes to the bonfire and finds Mineta greeting a young cleric and two knights. The cleric turned to him, revealing green hair and large black eyes.
"It's me, ribbit." Tsuyu said while tipping her finger against her mouth, noticing her counterpart's sharper face, smaller mouth and slightly smaller but still large eyes, completely lacking the usual frog features. "Weird".
"You are Undead, as well? I'm Tsuyu of Thorolund. I will not bother you, I have my mission and you undoubtedly have yours. We must not let this curse overcome us." She said as she left with Mineta and her companions.
"That virtuous little maiden, complete with followers in tow. They're probably going straight to pillage graves. I've heard enough about 'M'Lady' for a lifetime." Shinso said "You rang the first bell, huh? I didn't expect you to make it. Well, don't stop now, only one more bell...but it's suicide." he gave a dry smile.
"As happy as ever." Jiro said.
"Can you tell us how to get to blighttown?" Izuku asked politely.
"The quickest way is through the Depths, the entrance is in the Lower Burg. You should probably look for a certain sorcerer apprentice while you're there, the fool wouldn't stop bothering me about his master. Must have gone hollow by now, serve him right." He looked to the ground, showing that he has no intention of helping further.
The group asked him how to get to the Lower Burg, his answer was just a sarcastic "You go to the Burg and find a staircase going down. It's not that hard, is it?"
Izuku remembers the locked door on the bridge he met Kaminari and concludes that it's worth the try. The group backtracked to the church, finding the gate they locked earlier. The black knight stood beyond the gate, surrounded by dead hollows.
"That thing is still alive?" All Might asked as the knight turned to the group.
"Izuku…" Inko held her son's hand, remembering what the other black knight did to her baby.
"No other way around." Izuku said as he pulled the lever, unlocking the gate.
The black knight ran towards the group as Kaminari jumped on his path, the black knight slammed his sword on the smaller knight's shield, throwing him away as Kirishima tried to attack him. The towering knight blocked with his shield, making the onion knight's zweihander bounce back as the black knight kicked him on the stomach, throwing him away. Izuku stood with his shield up and sword in hand as his companions lay defeated.
"Holy shit." Kaminari said as the black knight easily defeated the warriors.
"The enemy is too strong." Todoroki frowned in worry.
Izuku dodged an attack as the knight's gigantic sword destroyed the ground where he was standing. The young warrior threw bombs at the knight, but the explosions were just a mere inconvenience to him. Izuku felt like a deer, as the jaguar approached its prey.
The boy braced himself, but a lightning bolt hit the knight's back, grabbing his attention. He turned around and saw a recovered Kaminari with Kirishima by his side, his Estus in hand as he lifted his weapon.
The black knight ran towards the duo, he attacked but the sun knight parried, the onion knight took the chance and slashed the opponent with all his strength, breaking his guard and throwing his shield away. Kaminari took the opening and thrusted his sword on the opponent's vulnerable side, but the black knight grabbed the sword with his bare hand.
"He's manhandling the three of them." Aizawa frowned.
Suddenly, Izuku jumped on the knight's back, grabbed his helmet and started to pull.
"Smart." Nezu smiled at the plan.
The black knight tried to get the smaller warrior to release him, but he managed to take the helmet off first, exposing an empty armor.
"WHAT?" The public screamed.
"They're just walking armors!" Iida said.
"Explanation: The black knights were once normal warriors, but they burnt in the first flame, becoming souls trapped inside their armors. They are beings made of pure willpower and motivation." Guardian explained.
"That's manly as fuck." Kirishima said, imagining how much willpower they had to keep fighting after their death.
Kaminari shot a lightning spear inside the armor as Kirishima smashed it using his sword as a beatstick, eventually, the knight stopped moving as the armor fell apart.
"It will only get harder from here on, can they even handle harder opponents?" Midnight thought aloud.
"They will have to." Nezu said.
The group backtracked to the bridge, trying their key on the locked door and breathing in relief as the door opened. They went down the ladder and made their way through the slums fighting dogs and hollows.
LOWER UNDEAD BURG
"Help! Somebody, please get me out of here!" A voice said from inside a house. Kirishima kicked the door open and they found a desperate blonde man.
"Moi? What a pleasant surprise!" Aoyama smiled.
"Thank goodness, I thought I was never going to escape!" The man said as he hugged the onion knight.
"Are you the apprentice sorcerer who passed by Firelink searching for his Master?" Izuku asked, remembering Shinso's words.
"Oui! I am Yuga of Vinheim, sorcerer of the school." The man smiled at his saviors.
The group exchanged greetings and Izuku asked the sorcerer if he wanted to go with them.
"I appreciate the offer, but I'm going back to Firelink to wait for Master Aizawa." The sorcerer said goodbye and went his way.
"Master Aizawa? Bothersome." Aizawa said.
"Still a teacher even in another world, huh?" Present Mic poked his friend.
The trio moved through the Burg and found a fog wall at the end of the path. They crossed the fog and found a goat headed demon armed with giant machetes with two dogs by his side.
"Another one of those demons." Uraraka said worried.
The demon was strong but it was nowhere close to the black knight they fought before, the only challenge being the limited space of the arena. Kaminari and Izuku fought the dogs while Kirishima took the demon on. The goat demon slashed him with his twin machetes, but the onion knight parried then with his zweihander. He stabbed the goat demon's chest and pushed the blade downwards, cutting the demon in half.
"MANLY!" Kirishima screamed as the demon's intestines fell on his counterpart.
Izuku and Kaminari finished the dogs off as the fog wall disappeared. They examined the spot where the demon died and found a key, they explored the rest of the slums and found a locked metal door. They unlocked it with their key and went down the stairs.
"Well...that was pretty easy." Ashido said.
"They already fought stronger enemies." Todoroki remembered her.
They went down the staircase and found themselves in a cold and dark place with a disgusting smell.
DEPTHS
They made their way through the few hollows and tables full of meat, meeting a tall and muscular woman with a bag on her head cutting a body up with a butcher knife at the end of the room.
The public stared wide eyed as they noticed what the meat on the tables really was.
The woman noticed them and took her knife out, walking in their direction.
She wasn't a strong opponent, but her disgusting smell and disturbing diet shook the knights up. After eliminating the woman, Izuku couldn't handle the human flesh around him and threw up on the ground, Kirishima patted his back as Kaminari went to take a look around the area.
"That...that was disturbing." Yaoyorozu said.
"Holy shit…" All Might said in english.
"Friends, come here for a moment." Kaminari called them to an adjacent room.
The other two followed his voice and found him in the company of a young man with bi-coloured hair.
"It's me." Todoroki said with a small smile, wondering if he was going to fight by their side.
"You must be Izuku and Eijiro, I am Shouto of the Great Swamp. I would be food if it wasn't for you three, thank you." The young man gave them a grateful smile.
"Don't mention it, we help everyone we can!" Kirishima said.
"Spoke like a true hero." All Might smiled, seeing that even in such a dark and sad world there are still good people around.
Todoroki stared at Izuku, before looking away.
"Is there something wrong?" Izuku asked.
"I...I'm a pyromancer of the great swamp, I would like to share my magic with you. I can feel that you have a knack for it...unless you find my magic unsavory." He said, looking at the ground.
"My counterpart can pass his powers to others then." Todoroki said.
"Like One for All." Izuku and All Might thought to themselves.
"Really? I accept it! It would be an honor!" The boy said with a smile.
"We will explore the rest of the area meanwhile." The other two left, leaving the young warrior and pyromancer behind.
Todoroki extended his hand, showing a tiny flame dancing on his palm.
"This is pyromancy, the art of casting fire. Produce flame, then channel it; just as our ancestors did. Pyromancy has a, well, rather primitive aspect to it. It meshes poorly with advanced culture, and pyromancers are considered rather unsavoury. Which is fine, as I never got along with anybody anyway, being undead didn't really change my life that much."
"At least in my world I managed to get along with others." Todoroki thought about the friends and companions he made in U.A.
The pyromancer divided his flame in two, offering one of them to Izuku, who took it in his hand. Surprised to see that it didn't burn.
"Now you're a full fledged pyromancer, my flame is now yours." He smiled as the warrior closed his hand, extinguishing the flame and then summoning it again, feeling the warmth coming from inside him. The pyromancer started to explain a few spells to his new student.
"Now Midoriya gets to use a cool power? Just like that? It's unfair." Mineta sulked as Izuku sinked in his seat.
Meanwhile, Kaminari and Kirishima advanced through the labyrinthian depths, lighting a bonfire on their way and cutting through hordes of giant rats and hollows.
"I believe that we are lost." The onion knight told his companion.
"It seems like it."
"Dumbasses." Bakugo laughed.
They heard steps. "Izuku?" Kaminari asked, but a knight with an armor full of thorns came into view instead.
"Calm down, man. Don't cut yourself on all that edge." Jiro said.
"Such stylish armor." Tokoyami thought.
The knight ran towards the duo in a burst of speed, his sword full of thorns grazed Kirishima's armor as Kaminari pushed him away.
"You're hollow, aren't you? No point in talking then." The knights drew their weapons, preparing to fight.
"Hollow? No, but I will enjoy ripping the humanity out of your bodies." The enemy took an offensive stance.
"It's a little sad, people are so easily willing to commit murder in that world." Uraraka said.
"His voice sounds kinda familiar…" Izuku tried to put a face on the voice but failed.
Kirishima charged with his zweihander as Kaminari flanked with his shield up, the knight of thorns easily parried the onion knight's massive sword and redirected it to his other opponent, making the knight attack his ally. He used the distraction and stabbed his sword deep on Kirishima's back, going through his armor like butter and killing him in only one move. The knight took the humanity sprite of his enemy's body as Kaminari stared in shock.
"NO!" The audience screamed.
"So...so easy…" Kirishima was wide eyed at how easily the knight killed his counterpart.
"He killed shitty hair...and now he's going to kill sparky too. How the fuck is he so good?" Bakugo gritted his teeth.
"You will pay." Kaminari said as charged his opponent. The mysterious knight easily parried him and went for a thrust, but the sun knight defended with his shield. Attack. Parry. Block. The match became a stalemate, but a slightly slower movement from Kaminari marked his defeat. The knight bashed his opponent with his shield, the thorns going deep on his chest as he beheaded him with his sword. The knight took the humanity sprite of his opponent.
"Heh...two humanities for such an easy fight...my lady will be pleased." The mysterious knight said as he crushed a bone, disappearing in white light.
"He's working for someone." Aizawa frowned at the skillful knight.
"Maybe his master is the big bad of this universe?" Ojiro asked.
"He crushed a bone and disappeared. Is that some kind of teleporting device?" Nezu theorized.
While the fight happened, Izuku was saying goodbye to his new master, as the pyromancer decided to go to Firelink instead of going with the group. Izuku made his way through the sewers, eventually finding a bonfire with Kirishima and Kaminari waiting for him. The duo told their companion about the knight and they carefully made their way through the depths again, fighting a giant rat this time.
"Gross." Hagakure said.
While investigating the area, they found a large door with an older blonde man
sitting by it.
"That's me!" Present Mic shouted with enthusiasm.
"Aye, siwmae. And good day to you. I'm Hizashi of Zena. I'm just, well, a peddler, of sorts. I adore trinkets and oddities, so I trade for them. You two don't look that well." He said the last part while looking at the two knights, they removed their helmets and revealed their cadaveric skin and bright red eyes.
"I can't imagine how much it sucks to look like a corpse." Ashido said.
"What does 'aye siwmae' even mean?" Midnight asked.
"Oh dear, I hope you two can find some humanity soon. Not my own, if possible!" The man laughed.
"Do you know how to get to Blighttown?" Izuku asked.
"I believe that it's beyond this big door, but it doesn't open. You will need to find the key to open it, but I don't know why someone would want to go to Blighttown."
"We're on a quest to ring the Bells of Awakening, one of them is down there." Kaminari pointed to the door as he put his helmet back.
"Good luck on your quest, my friends! But I can't help you on this journey, I don't know how to find the key." Hizashi apologized. The group said goodbye and went to investigate the rest of the sewers.
The trio investigated the rest of the sewers and found a large empty area, they went down the stairs and found a fog wall on the entrance.
"This one will be big." Mineta said as the public became way more interested.
As they crossed the fog wall, a small reptilian head poked out of a hole on the end of the room.
"So cute!" Hagakure said.
And then the rest of the creature came out, revealing a gigantic monster with a giant mouth on its torso and endless rows of teeth.
Many 'what the fuck' and 'what the hell is that' were said.
"Looks like a vagina." Mineta said as Tsuyu tongue-slapped him.
"Guardian, can you tell us what kind of beast is that?" Nezu asked.
"That's a being known as 'the gaping dragon', he is a dragon like the ones who were defeated by the gods many years before. He became twisted and mutated by his eternal hunger." The robot answered.
"What about the one on the bridge earlier?" Todoroki asked
"That was a being known as a drake or wyvern, they are descendents from the true dragons. Drakes are much weaker than their ancestrals."
"So this is the first dragon they fight." Aizawa frowned in worry.
The dragon ran towards them destroying everything on its path, the warriors barely dodged the attack.
Kirishima attacked with his sword as Izuku shot arrows and fireballs with his newly learned pyromancy. They kept wounding the creature but nothing was enough to bring it down, nothing except Kaminari's lightning spears, each spear he hit made the creature roar in pain.
"MVP once again!" Kaminari shouted.
"So that's why Gwyn and his knights used lightning to fight the dragons…" Izuku mumbled as he wrote the information in his notebook.
The three warriors fought the dragon for a long time, his movements were slow and easy to dodge, but a single strike was enough for an Estus to be needed. After long excruciating minutes, the dragon falls to a lightning spear of Kaminari.
"We...we did it...we did it…" Izuku said as he drank his last Estus while Kaminari and Kirishima humanity was restored.
Kirishima approached the spot where the dragon died and noticed a small shining spot, he approached and found a key.
"Did the dragon eat the key? How is it still intact?" Todoroki asked.
"Maybe it can't digest metal?" Yaoyorozu answered unsure.
"I think we found the key to Blighttown." He said to his companions. They backtracked to the locked door (now lacking the eccentric merchant) and unlocked the passage, going down the ladders and finding themselves on a wooden platform.
BLIGHTTOWN
The trio made their way down the ladders and platforms, fighting large hollows with clubs and smaller ones shooting darts and attacking with daggers. Eventually, they found themselves in a swamp.
"The descent was bad enough, now they also need to cross a swamp. Why are the bells in such horrible places?" All Might asked himself.
The knights slowly crossed the swamp, the putrid water and mud slowing their steps. They fought hordes of giant leeches and fire breathing insects until they found a giant web nest at the end of the swamp.
"That must be the place." Kirishima said.
"Is the next boss a giant spider? I hate spiders." Ashido shuddered.
As they approached the nest, Izuku saw a person sitting by a pillar, he walked to the mysterious figure as his friends followed in confusion.
"Hmm… A mere Undead, yet you can see me? Fascinating… I am Quelana of Izalith. I am not often revealed to walkers of flesh. You have a gift. Are you, too, one who seeks my pyromancy?" The person asked, revealing herself as a woman.
"Yes! But only recently. I'm Izuku, those are my friends Sir Denki and Sir Eijiro." The boy introduced his friends as they looked at each other.
"Err...Izuku, are you okay? Maybe you're feeling a little tired." Kaminari asked.
"What do you mean?"
"There is no one there." Kirishima answered.
"What do they mean? She's right there!" Present Mic said.
"I think she's invisible, she looked surprised when Midoriya walked towards her." Aizawa answered.
"Maybe only pyromancers can see her?" Midnight tried to explain.
"They can not see me, child. Only a talented pyromancer can see me." The woman explained.
"She said that only pyromancers can see her." Izuku told his friends as they looked at each other, giving him a little shrug.
"You are clearly talented. Would you like to learn my art?"
"Of course I would! But...not now, I need to ring the Bell of Awakening somewhere here in Blighttown."
"The Bell...it is behind that, at the entrance of the old capital of Izalith" she points to the web "but...my sisters dwell in the area, you will need to kill them to pass." The woman said in a low voice.
"WHAT?" The public screamed.
"She's asking him to kill her family?" Tsuyu said in a rare moment of shock.
"But...but why?" Iida is wide eyed at the woman.
"You...you're asking me to kill your sisters?" Izuku is shocked.
"My mother, the Witch of Izalith, was one of the primeval Lords… Her power came from the soul that she found near the First Flame. She focused this power to light a flame of her own, but she failed to control it. The Flame of Chaos engulfed Mother and my sisters, and molded them into deformed creatures. Only I escaped, and now I am here. But my mother and sisters have been in anguish since... I realize what I am asking. But please, free their poor souls…" The woman looked him in the eyes.
"What if they're sane? You don't know that, maybe we can talk to them."
"It...it is not possible...I saw them turn into demons with my own eyes…"
"Come with us. If they're sane, you should talk to them. They must miss you." Izuku smiled at her.
"...Okay, you win. I will go with you, but I will not fight when they attack us." She got up as Izuku's companions gasp.
"She really exists!" Kaminari said.
"I apologize, m'lady. We are Eijiro and Denki, at your service." Kirishima said with a little bow.
"It's okay, make haste." She started walking towards the nest, her new companions running after her.
"Such a sad story…" All Might said, wondering if it's too much to hope for the woman's family to still be sane.
The group approached the giant nest, finding a fog wall inside it. They crossed it and the screen showed a giant monstrous flaming spider going down the stairs.
"OH MY GOD." Ashido screamed.
"So they really became monsters." Iida said.
Then, the screen goes up, revealing a beautiful naked woman with dark brown hair holding a sword.
Tsuyu slapped Mineta with her tongue before he had the chance to say anything. Kaminari whistled as many students blushed at the view.
"Go back. Forbidden be, these parts. The realm of the creatures of chaos. They accept their banished fate." The spider woman said in a deep, soothing voice.
"She's sane!" All Might smiled
"Quelaag? It...it's me...Quelana!" The pyromancer took her hood off, revealing a similar face and hair color. Quelaag jumped, her sword stabbing deep on the ground as Kaminari pulled Quelana out of the way.
"Quelaag? Stop! Didn't you hear me?" Quelana said desperately.
"I did, dear sister. Did you expect a hug after abandoning your family for centuries?" The spider woman said with venom in her voice.
"CENTURIES?" The public screamed.
"I guess that they are immortal." Nezu smiled.
"I thought you had become a demon!"
"And I did, if it's not obvious. But even demons can take joy in killing a traitor!" She said as fire exploded from her body, the warriors jumped away.
"Quelaag, please! I missed you so much!"
"I'm happy to hear, it's a shame that the feeling isn't mutual." Quelaag slashed with her sword as Kaminari defended with his shield.
"Just give her a chance!" Izuku screamed as he dodged a slash.
"And you three, are you her bodyguards? Came to exterminate the remaining daughters of chaos?"
"No! We just need to ring the Bell of Awakening!" Kirishima parried an attack with his sword.
"Ring the Bell? I care little about that, but you will not get close to my sister! " She started to attack more viciously.
"What do you mean? We're just trying to fulfill the undead prophecy!" Izuku Screamed as he used his cloak to defend against a fireball, the spider woman stopped and glared at them.
"Come with me, then. You too, sister, so you can see what remains of your family." She walked away as the group followed after her.
The group rang the Bell and Quelaag took Quelana to their sister. Quelaag tried to send the warriors on their way, but Quelana asked to let her student come with her, she agreed but Kaminari and Kirishima stayed behind.
"Beware, human. If you show yourself to be a threat, I will kill you." Queelag said harshly as she dissolved an illusory wall.
"Ah, Mistress Quelaag! You returned...who are those two?" A crawling man carrying a sack-thing on his back asked with caution.
"Poor man, is this some kind of disease?" Midnight asked.
"Hello Eingyi, those two are...my sister Quelana and her apprentice." Quelaag answered.
"Lady Quelana? I never thought I would meet the mother of pyromancy!" The man said enthusiastically as he got out of the way.
Behind the man, there was a bonfire and another naked half spider half woman similar to Quelaag, but with pale skin and light blonde hair.
"She looks very sick." Yaoyorozu said while looking at the pale woman.
"She's hot, tho." Mineta got tongue-slapped again.
"Quelaag...Is that you?" The woman asked with difficulty.
"Sister, It's me." Quelana smiled with tears in her eyes.
"Quelana? My dear sister...I'm so happy...have you...been taking care of yourself?" The pale woman asked with pain in her voice.
"Yes, sister...it's so good to see you." Quelana held her sick sister's hand.
Many in the public had tears in their eyes.
Meanwhile, the two knights waited by the entrance.
"Aren't they taking a little too long?" Kaminari asked his companion.
"It's a family reunion, it's normal to take a long time." Kirishima answered, equally frustrated at the wait.
"Say...what do you plan to do after we ring the bells?"
"I'm not sure, I was adventuring for quite a while before I joined you two at the fortress gate. I will probably stick around, I can feel that we still have many adventures in front of us." Kirishima laughed. "What about you?"
"Me? I am searching for my own sun! My objective is the holy palace of Anor Londo, if there is a place where I can find a sun, that's the place." Kaminari laughed while doing a 'praise' pose.
"An adrenaline junkie and a looney." Aizawa frowned at the two warriors.
"C'mon, Shouta! Let the boys have fun!" Present Mic said.
Suddenly, a familiar voice was heard entering Quelaag's Domain. "Well, well, well. What do we have here?"
"You again?" Kaminari said while drawing his weapon as the knight of thorns once again stood in front of him.
"It looks like you two recovered your humanities, another easy hunt!" The knight laughed as he prepared to fight the duo again.
"This guy again?" Jiro said.
"What happened to her?" The young pyromancer asked Eingyi as they both stood awkwardly while the sisters talked among themselves.
"Years ago, when I first came to Blighttown, I got infected with parasites. I would have died, but my dear lady took pity on me and sucked the infection out of my body, even going against Mistress Quelaag's order to leave me to my fate. Since then, I became her servant, even if the only thing I can do to lessen her pain is carry the parasite's eggs in her place." Eingyi smiled, proud of his deformed body.
"Heroes, both of them." All Might smiled at both the selfless woman who sacrificed herself and the man who gave his body to make her life less painful.
"Such a manly little guy!" Kirishima admired the man with tears in his eyes.
"Is there a cure? Something to make her better?" Izuku asked.
"Mistress Quelaag and her servants bring humanity to her regularly, it makes her stronger and helps with the pain. But it is hard to get a constant supply of humanities."
Izuku approached the sisters and took out the twin humanity he got from Bakugo earlier.
"I would like her to have this, it's not much but I hope it helps." He offered the humanities to the sisters, Quelaag quickly took it from his hand and gave it to her disabled sister.
"Thank you...Quelaag...it helps with the pain." The pale woman said with a little less pain than before.
"Thank you, human. If you ever have any humanity to spare, give it to her." Quelaag said with sincere gratitude.
"Giving such an important item to a stranger. You're selfless even in other universes, Midoriya-kun!" Iida smiled at his friend.
"I'm glad that my counterpart is a nice guy." Izuku wondered if they would see an evil version of him in another universe.
Their talk was interrupted by sounds of battle, Quelaag and Izuku ran to the main chamber while Quelana stayed with her other sister. They went to the room where they fought and found the knight of thorns fighting Izuku's companions.
"Cease this foolishness already, they are not a menace." Quelaag said with authority.
"Heh...guess we're on the same side now, no hard feelings, right?" The knight chuckled.
"No hard fee- YOU KILLED US!" Kirishima said with a mix of indignation, annoyance and wrath.
"Hey, we weren't on the same side then. We're buddies now." The knight said nonchalant.
"Cease the provocations, Stain."
"STAIN?" the public screamed.
"So that's why I didn't recognize his voice…" Midoriya said.
Todoroki frowned as Iida glared at the screen.
"Fine, I have better things to do." The knight said as he went down to the Fair Lady's chamber.
"I believe that it is time for you to leave, there is an elevator outside my domain. It will bring you up to the Valley of Drakes, then you take the elevator to New Londo and the other elevator to Firelink." Quelaag said, sending the warriors on their way.
The knights followed the spider woman's instructions, fighting some hollows as they made their way through the platforms. As they get to the Valley of Drakes, Quelana appears running after them.
"Wait! Izuku, I must give you something before you go. Not only as my student, but also as the man who reunited me with my sisters."
The knights observed as the woman taught their friend how to produce lava with his pyromancy.
"Lava...I definitely can't do that." Todoroki wondered how dangerous and powerful that power is.
"That's some fire power he has now." Present Mics chuckled.
The group climbed out of the elevator to Firelink, finding the Firekeeper's body fallen on the ground with a red stain on her chest.
"Fi-Firekeeper?" Izuku screamed as the group ran to the cell, Izuku shook her body but she didn't move, Kaminari tried his healing miracles but nothing worked. The Firekeeper was dead.
"Oh no…" Iida said.
"Uraraka-san…" Izuku looked at his friend.
"Why?" Is the only thing the girl can ask.
"That blonde bastard murdered her and took the Firekeeper soul of her corpse, I tried to stop him but I was too weak." Said a Shinso as he walked down the stairs of the shrine.
"Where is he?" Izuku asked.
"I don't k-"
"WHERE?" Izuku screamed at the other man's face.
"Holy hell." Kaminari was gaping at the boy's reaction.
"He's pissed." Jiro said the obvious.
Izuku was glaring at the screen.
Bakugo stared wide eyed. "My counterpart really is a shitty villain." He thought with rage.
"I don't know, okay? That short bastard is back too, he went down to the catacombs with his mistress and her bodyguards but was the only one to return, sounds fishy. There is also a giant snake with the worst breath I ever smelled looking for you."
"A giant snake with bad breath?" Ashido said in confusion.
The trio goes to meet the serpent, still furious with the Firekeeper's death.
"He looks gross." Hagakure said.
"He has a skin mustache!" Kaminari laughed.
"Ahh, hello. Was it you who rang the Bell of Awakening? I am the Primordial Serpent, Kingseeker Frampt, close friend of the Great Lord Gwyn. Chosen Undead, who has rung the Bell of Awakening. I wish to elucidate your fate. Do you seek such enlightenment?" The snake asked.
"I do." Izuku said with determination.
"Very well. Then I am pleased to share. Chosen Undead. Your fate is… to succeed the Great Lord Gwyn. So that you may link the Fire, cast away the Dark, and undo the curse of the Undead. To this end, you must visit Anor Londo, and acquire the Lordvessel." The serpent smiled. "Those who seek the Realm of the Lords must brave Sen's Fortress, a deadly house of traps in the Undead Parish. Many have gone before you, but none have returned. Fate has chosen you, but proceed with caution."
"Midoriya is the chosen one!" Kaminari said.
Izuku was embarrassed to be called 'chosen one'.
The trio said goodbye to the serpent and went to meet Mineta, who was looking at the sides with a nervous smile on his face.
"Uh, oh, you again? Er, I've become separated from M'lady. I've searched near and far, but no sight of her… Where could she have gone? M'lady…To think I swore to protect you with my life…"
"Bullshit." Izuku squinted his eyes at the suspicious man.
"In the depths of the Catacombs, M'lady slipped off the giant's coffin and into a hole. Her two companions are no longer human; and the lass weeps in solitude. Right now, you could do as you please with her. The poor little purebred is entirely helpless." He gave a creepy smile.
"What the fuck?" Mineta screamed as the present women felt uncomfortable.
"Sounds a little too rapey." Tsuyu said.
"Disgusting." Bakugo stared at the screen with disgust.
"Bakugo's counterpart is a murderer and my counterpart is both a traitor and a potential rapist, why?" Mineta was furious, he just wanted his other self to be a super cool guy like Midoriya, Kirishima and Kaminari.
CATACOMBS
Midoriya and company ran to the catacombs, determined to save the girl.
"This stench...and I was beginning to like this place too...maybe it's time for me to do something about it." Hitoshi said, as he started to walk to the serpent with his sword in hands.
"For the love of god, save the girl!" Mineta was desperate as everyone still looked weirdly at him.
The group passed by the graveyard, hacking and slashing at the skeletons without looking back, eventually reaching moving bridges that were already turned by Tsuyu's group on their previous expedition. They moved deeper and deeper, eventually coming across a fog wall.
"Another boss so soon?" Jiro said.
"They don't have time for this! They need to save Asui-san's counterpart!" Izuku didn't want to see another one of his friends get hurt.
"Call me Tsuyu, ribbit." Tsuyu told the boy.
The group crossed the fog, finding a weird creature with three masks and many arms.
"I'm sorry but we need to pass, can you let us go in peace?" Izuku asked, but the creature cloned himself and prepared fireballs "just what I thought."
The knights quickly dispatched the creature, its magic was strong but it fell to few attacks, proving to be very physically weak.
"What a weakling." Bakugo chuckled.
The group moved to the next area, using Izuku's flame as light as they carefully made their way across the giant coffins. They fought some giant skeletons who proved to be powerful opponents, but Izuku's blessed sword was able to damage them with great effectiveness. They eventually found a tall man with white hair.
"Gentle?" Izuku asks in confusion.
"What is the Gentle Criminal doing there?" Kaminari said confused about the man's location.
"Good day! You look reasonably sane! What are you doing here? Are you a Cleric or something?" The man smiled friendly.
"No, but I'm looking for one." Izuku said.
"I didn't see any cleric, but there is a stash of treasure down this hole. Maybe they went for the trinkets?" The man pointed behind him.
The trio approached the edge and the man pushed them down the hole.
"What the hell?" Sero said.
"Heh heh, this is what I do, my friend. The trinkets I'll be stripping off your corpse; that's the real treasure!" The Gentle Criminal laughed as he left.
"A graverobber." Todoroki frowned.
The trio looked around, noticing the young cleric hiding behind some rocks.
"Miss? Are you okay? We came to rescue you." Kaminari said
"You...you're the undead from the shrine, right? Thank goodness. Sir Minoru abandoned us here and my companions have gone hollow. Please...free them." Tsuyu's counterpart said from her hideout.
"We will kill your hollow companions and take you back to Firelink." The knights easily dispatched the hollows and took the woman back to Firelink, noticing how the man from earlier was absent. Arriving at the shrine, they went straight to Mineta. The man panicked when he saw the girl.
"Oh..er...M'lady, I thought that you had gone hollow! So clumsy to trip on that coffin!" Cold sweat ran down his face.
"Sir Minoru, you and that other man pushed us down the hole. why would you do that?" She asked, confused and betrayed.
"Fucking asshole!" Mineta screamed at his counterpart.
"I will be at the church in the Undead Parish if you need me, Sir Izuku." Tsuyu said as she went to the elevator.
The trio approached the short man and he stepped back.
"C-c-calm down, okay? Don't do something you will regret later!" Mineta said.
"Did she have the chance to ask for mercy? And her companions?" Kaminari asked quietly.
"B-b-but.."
"But nothing, you have to pay for your crimes." Kirishima said menacingly.
Izuku drew his sword.
"I'm not undead! Please, have mercy!" Mineta was almost crying.
"He wouldn't…" Izuku said.
"No mercy." Izuku said coldly.
"PLEASE DON'T!" Mineta screamed as Izuku beheaded him.
The public was wide eyed, Inko had her eyes closed and refused to look at the screen again. All Might couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"What the hell?" Izuku said quietly, so low that only those around him heard. Uraraka put her hand on his shoulder.
"Remember Midoriya, that's not you. it's just someone else who happens to have your name and face." Todoroki told his friend.
"I-I know, but it's still shocking…" Izuku answered "At least it wasn't someone innocent." he thought, disgusted at himself to even think that.
Aoyama was minding his own business and the eccentric merchant from the depths had arrived at the Shrine. Izuku approached Todoroki who was sitting by the unlit bonfire while Kirishima and Kaminari sat down to rest.
"Hey, good to see you. I can feel that you have become stronger in your excursion through Blighttown." The pyromancer smiled at his student.
"Good to see you too. My next destination is Sen's Fortress, maybe you can teach me a few tricks before I go?" The young warrior smiled as they practiced their magic.
"That pyromancy...I never saw it before, did you create it?" Todoroki asked as he watched the lava from Izuku's spell quickly disappear.
"I learned it with a pyromancer in Blighttown. She was called Quelana, if I remember right."
"Quelana? As in 'Quelana of Izalith'? She's still alive?" The man was in shock at the revelation.
"Yes, she's still in Blighttown."
"I'll locate her, I have to learn this art." They said goodbye to each other as Todoroki went to the elevator.
"Even I would react like this if someone with the exact same power as me suddenly started shooting lava out of his hands." Todoroki reflected.
"The giant snake called this fortress a 'deadly house of traps', I hope that it's not as dangerous as it sounds." Izuku failed in convincing himself.
The knights said goodbye to their friends on the shrine and went to the elevator, on their way to Sen's Fortress and the holy palace of Anor Londo.
