She wakes up slowly, as if she had been in a nice dream. She keeps her eyes closed, not wanting to face reality.

She knows that beginning her life will be hard. The people around her sees her as a monster.

A monster that stole their friend.

She feels fuzzy and warm, and she knows something is wrong, but she doesn't want to move. She can't move at all.

Her body is frozen (pun intended), and the heat eats away at her, making her feel weak. She doesn't like feeling weak.

So she opens her eyes. She's laying against the speedster. He's asleep, not noticing the temperature of his body sinking.

She can't help it. She's cold and he's warm. She needs heat to freeze things, but she doesn't want to need it.

She sits up and looks around. No one is close so she can easily slip out. She tries to move her feet, but they barely react at the command.

She sighs and uses her arms to sling her feet over the bed. She can feel them touch the floor, but it isn't the same feeling she had earlier.

She pushes herself up on her feet, and for one second she thinks she's done it, but her feet give in and she crashes down on the floor.

She groans and lifts her hand to her forehead. She feels like crying, but she doesn't want to appear weak.

Instead she grabs the edge of the bed and uses all her strength to pull herself up. She meets those sparkling green eyes smiling down at her and she narrows her eyes.

"How did it go?" he asks with a small smile. She doesn't answer and instead reaches her hand out. In a split of a second she's up on the bed again.

"Thanks," she murmurs and sinks down in the pillows.

"No problem. Did you sleep well?" she can see him shiver slightly.

"Yeah, thanks," she takes a sharp breath in, wanting to cough, but not give away any weakness. She starts feeling cold again, like she always does.

"Do you want something to eat?" he asks, already standing in the doorway.

"Something cold," she shrugs. They expect her to eat cold things, right?

"Ok, I'll be back," he speeds away and she closes her eyes.

She listens closely to her surroundings. People seem to be more careless if they think the other is asleep.

She hears someone enter the med-bay. She wants to find out if the person wants to kill her, or not.

So she stays put, eyes closed as the person comes closer. She can hear the small click of their shoes. The way they walk carefully, but carelessly.

She can feel them at her side. The shadow that slowly creeps over her eyelids, the slight move in the mattress and duvet.

Maybe it is a bad idea to pretend to be asleep. They all probably want to kill her, or turn her back to Caitlin.

"I know you're awake," they say.

"What do you want?" she replies, keeping her eyes closed.

"Shouldn't it be obvious, Killer Frost," she feels something hard press down on her stomach and she opens her eyes.

"That's not my name," she growls and grabs the other's hand.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Caitlin,"

"I'm not Caitlin," Frost stares at the brown orbs of one Iris West.

"That's right, you killed her, didn't you?" the brunette smiles wickedly, "I heard that you couldn't feel her,"

"You wouldn't know shit about it," Frost starts to absorb the other woman's heat, leaving snowflakes to settle on her arm.

"I'll pull the trigger," Iris threatens as she feels he arm turn colder.

"You're fingers will soon be numb, and useless," the ice meta furrows her brows slightly, "oh no, that's not what you wanted, was it?"

"Let me go,"

"So you can pull the trigger?" her eyes shines white, but there's light blue flecks around the edges, "come on, be a big girl and pull the trigger again,"

Iris grits her teeth and the gun slips out of her fingers, landing on the floor with a thud.

"What's going on?" Frost lets Iris go and Barry walks over to them.

"We were just talking," the white haired answers.

"Yeah," Iris nods and hides her arm behind her back.

"Iris, I know what you did earlier," Barry looks at his sister.

"I felt threatened, and she was about to kill you," she explains.

"She let go of the icicle," Barry argues and puts a bag down on the floor.

"A stupid icicle isn't my only weapon," Frost mutters and crosses her arms.

"I guess you're right," Barry sighs and rubs his temple, "Iris, you can go home, I don't want you around here,"

"What about Savitar?" she steps up to him with a worried look.

"We still have much time," Barry assures her and smiles.

"Fine," Iris gives Frost a look before she walks out.

"Are you ok?" he takes the bag and sits down next to the meta.

"Yeah," she gives him a small smile, "what do you have there?"

"Ice cream and frozen pizza," he takes the items out of the bag, "I ate a sandwich on the way, so feel free to eat the whole pizza if you want,"

"But the ice cream is for both of us, right?"

"Of course," Barry chuckles and a knock is heard before Cisco enters the room.

"I'm sorry," he apologises, hands in his pockets.

"For what?" Frost asks and he looks up again.

"For everything, I guess. Thinking you were evil, everything that you must've felt, being stuck inside Caitlin," he shrugs and Frost thinks he looks so small.

"Do you like ice cream?" she asks and he looks at her confused.

"Yes?" he answers slowly.

"Good, Barry brought two whole packs, so we'll all have to share,"

"Uhm, thanks," Cisco drags a chair over to the bed and grabs a spoon.

"Do you know what it tastes like?" Barry asks as she opens the pizza.

"Caity never ate frozen pizza in a frozen state, but no, I just saw and felt what she did. I could hear her thoughts, but I never smelt or tasted anything she ate,"

"Is she still here?" Cisco hesitates and fiddles with the spoon.

Frost shrugs and throws away the package, "I can't quite feel her. I have never been in control so I don't know what to do. I don't know if Caity felt me, or if it was that she knew I was there,"

"It must be tough for you,"

"Yeah, for you too," Frost looks at Cisco, "if I could, or knew how, I would've given you her back,"

"I now know you would," he answers, "but you also want to live, right?" Frost nods, "why don't we just go out and live our lives and hope Caitlin, kind of reacts to that and yeah,"

"You mean, just wing it?" Frost smirks.

"Yeah," Cisco chuckles.

"I think I like that," Frost smiles and takes a bite of a pizza slice.

"This is so fun!" Frost yells and looks over to Cisco and Barry.

"No it's not!" Cisco yells back.

"I mean, it could be worse!" Barry shrugs as best as he can.

The rollercoaster takes a sharp turn and Barry bumps into Frost who bumps into Cisco.

"I hate this rollercoaster!" Cisco grabs the cart railing tightly as it turns around and around, still going forward.

"I love this rollercoaster!" Frost yells and creates a small ice firework.

The rails turns into a loop and then speeds forward and comes to a stop. The trio stumbles out and walks away from the line.

"I don't want to do that again," Cisco mumbles and does a dramatic fall. Frost looks at Barry with an unknown look and the hero shrugs,

"I thought it was ok?"

"Good, cause I certainly want to do it again, but I don't want to go alone," she smiles and walks away. Barry helps the breacher up and they follow the meta around the park.

"Luckily for us, Frost isn't the only 'weird' looking person here," Cisco points out.

"What do you mean?" Barry asks as they watch their new friend watch a smaller boy use an arcade game.

"She just looks like a cosplayer," Cisco offers and Barry nods.

"What's that?" Frost asks and points at the game after the kid was gone.

"It's an arcade game," Cisco answers and they walk up to her.

"No, what's that?" the brunette follows the woman's gaze. On the arcade game there's a movie theatre icon.

"That's a movie theatre," Barry says and smiles, "they play movies on much bigger screens than a laptop,"

"Cool, can we see one?" Frost looks around for one of the so called movie theatres.

"Yeah, most people now call it the cinema though. It's a more modern theatre I guess," Cisco adds and pulls out his wallet.

"Let me just play a game first," he adds a coin to one of the arcade games and the pac man icon pops up.

"Can I try after you?" Frost watches the game over his shoulder.

"Yeah, here," he lets go of the controls and Frost takes over. He directs her through it and she soon learns the deal.

"Take that, nasty ghost," she growls as the yellow figure eats some cherries and then a ghost, "ah no!"

"The other way!" Cisco nearly freaks out as pac man is almost eaten up by the red ghost.

"I'm trying!" Frost moves the controls and pushes the buttons. Suddenly the yellow ghost appears from nowhere (their words not mine) and eats the figure. The screen lights up with game over.

"We should head to the movies now," Barry speaks and the two others pout, but follows him down the streets.

"Look, they're showing Singin' in the rain," Barry smiles and remembers all the times he watched it with his mom.

"What kind of movie is that?" Frost asks as she watches the cover with a curious look.

"It's a musical,"

"Musical? So it's a song?"

"No," Cisco chuckles.

"Let's just watch it," Barry goes to pay for three tickets while Cisco and Frost finds some snacks.
