AN: I don't own The Gamer and Highschool DxD.
"Initiate Game Sytem, Reika"!

Well besides the time stopping that is.
"Tutorial Initiated"

"Would you like to roll it now"?
Seriously? It's not even a big deal, but thank you anyway Reika, and yes I'd like to roll it now. Roll the Traits and Flaws first Reika.
"You're welcome master :)"
"Traits and Flaws Rolling"
*Ding*
Traits Gained:
*Athletic - your an athletic person, you usually perform better on sports than others, your also capable of doing physical feats that normal people can't. Add a permanent 25 points on STR, DEX, END as long as you have this trait
*Lady Luck's Child - your a very lucky individual, you have never lost a bet, you mostly win games of chances. Greatly improved chances on getting a good draw on Gacha, improved chances of getting onto lucky situations and lucky encounters. Reduced chances of having unlucky encounters. All items you will acquire on Gacha can't be lower than a Uncommon Grade Item
*Charismatic - your an charismatic individual, you usually persuade others quite easily, whether it's something as simple as going on a date or as bold as committing a crime, you usually can persuade others easily. Add a permanent 25 points on CHA as long as you have this trait
Flaws Gained:
*Lustful - your lustful, you lust on the opposite gender, what matters to you is that it is a woman, nothing else matters, age, race, and other things doesn't matter. This often affects your decision making and goals
*Remorseless - your remorseless, you will do anything to achieve your goals without remorse. Sometimes this effects Reputation and Affection whether positive or not.
*Envious - your envious, you envy things that others have, sometimes you even want those things for yourself. This often affects your decision making and goals
I am certainly Lustful and Envious, but Remorseless? That's new. Athletic huh? I guess I do, after all my new body is quite lean and healthy, with strong muscles too. So I'm Charismatic in this world? Well that's a good change, in my last life I can't even asked the girl I liked onto a date before being rejected instantly. And the Lady Luck's Child is certainly a blessing, just the improved draws on Gacha makes it really good, add the fact that I will never have a bad draw at it makes it a whole lot better. Now next are the Perks, please roll it now Reika
"Of course, master"
"Perks Rolling"
*Ding*
Perks Gained:
*Genius - you're a genius! 15% exp gain, 10% exp gain on skills
*Nature Sensitive - you're almost one with nature. Grants the Passive Skill (Natural Senjutsu Affinity), 25% SP, 15% SP Regen
*Natural Sensor - you're a natural sensor! 10% MP Regen, Grants the Passive/Active Skill (Sensory)
Oh my god!! 2 Perks that gives Skills and Regen modifiers and another one that gives additional Exp gains!
The Nature Sensitive Perk is the best of the three obviously, Not only that it adds quarter of my total SP and improved my SP Regen, but it also gave me a Skill, a Passive Affinity Skill to be precise! And not just any normal affinity like elemental affinity, but Senjutsu!! Oh the possibilities, just thinking of them makes me want to kiss you Reika! Um, well if you have a corporate body that is
"Well thank you master! I'm glad that I can help~"
"I also may have a corporal body master, which you will personally design once you have the Skill to do so. You just need to obtain the Skill to give me one, master"
W-what?! For real?
"Yes master at earlier levels of that Skill you may create an incorporal body for me, once you levelled that Skill you will able create a corporal body, master"
Then what is that Skill? And how can I obtain it? I'm quite curious about that Skil
"Unfortunately I cannot tell you master, as it one of the Hidden Skills of The Gamer""That Skill and all other Hidden Skills can be only obtained once you complete a Hidden Gamer Quest, master"So there also those kind of quests huh? And there also other Hidden Skills of The Gamer. What are those Skills by the way?
"I will explain those later master"
"For now I shall begin the basic explanation of Skills, or would you like check your Status first master?
Yes I'd like that Reika, 'Status'

Perks: Genius, Nature Sensitive, Natural Sensor
Traits : Athletic, Charismatic,
Lady Luck's Child
Flaws: Lustful, Envious, Remorseless
Damn! The Athletic Trait and Nature Sensitive Perk are doing a great deal of impact on my stats! Just look at my SP Regen! I'm basically regenerating 39.5 SP per minute, I imagine that I can now do those low SP consuming skills 24/7!
"That's right master, also all Stat consuming Skills have their costs per minute, so low Stat consuming Skills such as Sneak, Sprint, and Swimming can now be done by you without worrying about the consumption! Well once you have those Skills that is"
Awesome! Then let's start the Skills tutorial! "Skills" I spoke out loud due to my excitement
Skills
Active :
N/A
Passive:
Gamer's Body, Gamer's Mind, Natural Senjutsu Affinity
Active/Passive:
Sensory
"Skills are your abilities to perform certain feats, all known Skills will be shown on Skills Screen"
"Example of these Skills are the Skills given to all Gamers, The (Gamer's Body) and (Gamer's Mind)"
(Gamer's Body) - Passive :
Makes your body that of a game,
Pain can still be felt but no lasting damage may be done to your body.
(Gamer's Mind) - Passive :
Keeps the Gamer calm through situations that mostly should have affected a normal person. Completely protects your mind from mind alterations such as illusions
"Skills can be learned every time your class levels up, by using a skill book, or learning to perform it naturally"
So I guess the (Gamer's Mind) was the reason of my calmness moments ago and even now. With a complete protection to mind alterations to go with! And with the (Gamer's Body) I won't even have a scar, so I'm guessing that all wounds would heal if not instantly. Status debuffs such as Bleeding may bypass that though
"Correct master"
And Skills can be learned naturally, so if I washed a dirty plate, would I get a (Dishwashing) Skill?
"Yes master, it goes from any mundane skills to the most impossible skills, if you manage to perform it without the knowledge to do so, that is"
Hmmm, I see, please continue Reika
"Of course master"
"Skills are divided into 3 mainly categories, Active, Passive, Active/Passive. Active Skills are the Skills that you need to perform personally to take effect, example is the (Reinforment) Skill. While Passive Skills are Skills that are Passively Active or in other words, always on without the need of personal activation, example is the (Troll Regeneration) Skill. Active/Passive Skills are Skills that has a passive effect, but can be activated to further improve the passive effects or create new effects, example is (Healing Aura) Skill"
So there are 3 main Skills categories, I'm guessing that there are sub-categories as well
"Yes master"
"The Skills sub-categories are Creation, State-Change, Offensive, Defensive, And Miscellaneous"
"Creation Skills are Skills that creates something, production and crafting skills include in here"
"State-Change Skills are Skills that changes the state of somebody, support skills, healing and reinforcements are included here"
"Offensive Skills are Skills that are used to hurt or damage something or somebody"
"Defensive Skills are Skills that are used to protect or transport something or somebody"
"Miscellaneous Skills are Skills that are commonly known or used in daily life such as (Flight), (Teleportation), and (Foolish Acts)
I see, wait. 'Is (Foolish Acts) really a skill'? I thought bemused
"Yes master, that Skill in particular, once maxed can make sure to affect the target's mindset"
'What a dangerous skill' I thought trying not to imagine fighting a boss monster then suddenly performing (Foolish Acts)
"That would be certainly amusing to see master"
Uhh, I know. So what's next? What about those Hidden Skills and Quests you have mentioned earlier?
"Hidden Gamer Skills,Hidden Gamer Quests, Item Tiers, Item Gradings, and Classes are the things that I will explain later in the tutorial master. For those are quite complicated and confusing"I see, I understand. So what's next then?
"The Inventory master"
Okay. 'Inventory'
"This is your own Inventory master, it is accessible only by you, only you can store and take things in here.
There is no limit to the amount of things you can store in here. The size and weight of an item doesn't matter. You may even store a living being in here. You would also not need a bank account, because your Inventory have it's own bank of sorts. In this bank not only money can be deposited but also items and materials, and like any bank, it will give interests. Not only to the money but even to the items, thus giving you the ability to farm materials using your Inventory's Bank. To access the Bank you need to think or say "Open Bank" while your in the Inventory Screen, simply think or say "Deposit" then choose the items or materials you'd like to deposit. To withdraw , simply think or say "Withdraw" then select the items you'd like to withdraw. Please keep in mind that the interest of said bank is 15% monthly".
I'm at loss of words. An inventory with no limit , that can even store living beings. And not just that, it also have a bank! And not just any normal bank, I can even deposit items and materials. To which the said bank would give an interest!
Just imagine! A possible endless supply of groceries and meals! With the initial buying of item being your only expenses! Wait does the inventory keep the state of the food?
Even if deposited in the Bank?
"Naturally master"
Wow, just wow. The possibilities of such a resource available is mind blowing! If I ever take a Production Class, I may never have a problem regarding the materials needed!
"That is correct master, now, shall we proceed"?
Ah, yes. Yes let's do that.
"Please think or say Journal"
'Journal'
"This is your Journal master, all your active, competed, and even abandoned quest are shown in here.
So as your progress in those quests"
"Next master, please think or say Reputations"
Yes let's proceed. There is not much special about the journal any way it is like any other quest logs, just a bit more organized. 'Reputations'
"This is your Reputations Screen master, it show your current standings into some individuals, groups, organizations, and factions.
Affections Section will unlock once a individual reached "Well Liked" level of Reputation on you"
"There are 7 levels of Reputations and 5 Levels of Affection"
Reputations:
Exalted - 801 - 1000 pts
Well Liked - 501 - 800 pts
Liked - 251 - 500 pts
Neutral - 0 - 250 pts
Disliked - -1 - -500 pts
Hated - -501 - -800 pts
At War - -801 - -1000 pts
Affection:
Eternal - 81 - 100 pts
Romantic - 51 - 80 pt
Familial - 31 - 50 pts
Friendly - 16 - 30 pts
Comrade - 1 - 15 pts
Hmm, I see. I think I got the gist of it.
So what's next?
"Next is the Shop master"
Oh, so about time, I really want a more detailed description of it. 'Shop'
"The Gamer's Shop is a shop that sells items, materials, weapons, armors, and artifacts, but with a limit. Weapons, Armors, and Artifacts cannot surpass the Gamer's level, this might confuse you master. Gamer's level and the Item Tier requirements are to be compared, if the Gamer reached the level required to unlock the next tier items, then the Shop will restock and will have new items that is under the tier unlocked. There are 4 tiers of Items : Elite, Master, Grand Master, and Legend. How ever, the Shop will never have a item that surpasses Item Grade: Epic. There are 9 Item Gradings : Trash, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Special, Epic, Legendary, Mythical, and Divine.
Item Tiers and Gradings will be explained later after Monster Tiers
"The currency used in the Shop is your own preferred money currency, right now it is set to Yen"
I see, so my level affects the Items sold in the shop. It means that if my level is high enough, more items with better quality would be sold in the shop. The Item Tiers and Gradings are certainly confusing though.
"Understandable master, but I will explain those later. Next is the Gacha"
Very well, 'Gacha'
"This is your Gacha Screen, you can acces the Gacha here. To draw in the Gacha, you need to have a Gacha Ticket. Gacha Tickets can be obtained by completing quests, by loot drops, and by buying it at the Shop. A Gacha Ticket is worth 100,00 Yen. The Gacha rolls in random, so you may obtain as great as a Divine Grade Item, to as bad as a Trash Grade Item. From swords to even sex toys, Gacha has it all."Well that's typical Gacha all right, so what's next?
"Next are the Monster Tiers master, shall I proceed"?
Yes please.
"Their are 6 Monster Tiers. Normal, Elite, Veteran, Master, Champion, and Divine. The multipliers are such as this:
Regular - N/A
Elite - 50 Stat Multiplier
Veteran - 100 Stat Multiplier
Master - 150 Stat Multiplier
Champion - 250 Stat Multiplier
Divine - 500 Stat Multiplier "
So that means that levels and stats are not the only things I should look out when fighting enemies, I shoul look at their Tiers too. The difference of stat multipliers from Regular to a Divine Tier is insane!
"In the world of DxD, Gods are in the Champion Tier. While the beasts such as Great Red and Trihexa are in the Divine Tier. The only god who once was in the Divine Tier is the Biblical God,
a. k a. The One True God"
I see, what about the Maous? The Archangels? Or even the Cadres?
"The Maous have different Tiers, Only Sirzechs Lucifer and Ajuka Beezlebub are in the Champion Tier, Serafall Leviathan and Falbium Asmodeus are in the Master Tier. The Archangels and the Cadres are all in the Master Tier"
I see, so next must be the Item Tiers and Grading right?
"Correct master"
"Item Tiers and Gradings are corresponding to each other.
It shows as follows:
Tier 1 - Trash, Normal, Uncommon
Tier 2 - Rare, Epic
Tier 3 - Epic, Legendary, Mythical
Tier 4 - Mythical, Divine"
"As you can see, Divine Grade Items and some Mythical Grade Items are in Tier 4, it means that such Item Grades can only be obtained if the Item Tier is 4. So as the Item Tiers and Gradings. Which means that the Items that can be bought in the Shop are at best in Tier 3, you won't be able to by Items that have a Grading past Epic though. I'll explain what makes this important. The Mythical Grade Items are categorized in Tier 3 and 4, but theirs a difference. Tier 3 Mythical Grade Items can never be better than Tier 4 Mythical Grade Items, Because Tier 4 Mythical Grade Items may offer a match if compared to some Tier 4 Divine Grade Items. Example of such items are Longinus Sacred Gears.
It will be shown as follows:
Low Class: Tier 2 Rare - Special
Mid Class: Tier 2 Special / Tier 3 Epic
High Class: Tier 3 Epic - Legendary
Longinus: Tier 4 Mythical"
I see. It actually makes sense, Longinus Sacred Gears after all have the potential to kill a God. And Gods are in Divine Tier.
"Correct master"
"Now last is the Hidden Gamer Skills and the Hidden Gamer Quests"
"This Hidden Gamer Skills can only be used by the Gamer, and can only be obtained by completing Hidden Gamer Quests as a reward"
"Hidden Gamer Quest are pre-made quests regarding the world of DxD, some of this quests may have a massive affect on this world. And that the Game System cannot show or tell the Gamer what are the objectives of said quests
Understood. So is that all?
"Yes master. With that the Game Tutorial is completed"
"The time will now continue"
And with a bright of flash, the time continued to flow. And everything is back to normal.
Sigh* that was a long explanation. I can almost feel a headache settling in, before the (Gamer's Mind) takes effect and the settling headache is gone.
So now I guess I should be attending school huh?
I should take a bath first then prepare a small breakfast for myself.
*Ding*
"For completely finishing the Tutorial you've gained the following: Skill book - (I.D. Create), (I.D. Escape), and (Observe)"
Huh? I guess paying attention to Reika's explanation have some bunoses as well. I opened my inventory and sure the skill books are there and 2,000 ¥. I first take the (Observe) skill book.
"This skill book contains and teaches the Skill (Observe)
Would you like to learn this Skill?
Y / N "?
I pressed Y, and the book turned into golden moats of light and surged to my chest.
*Ding*
"Skill (Observe ) Learned!
Observe [Lvl: Maxed]
- Observe shows the targets description, stats, and their thoughts about you"
Woah? A maxed out skill already?
But I just acquired it, does this mean that all Skills learned from Skill books gets instantly maxed out?
"No master, all Skills when learned will start from level one regardless of the method of learning. (Observe) is an exception because it is one of the Skills that a Gamer is given to every time the Tutorial is completed, think of it as a starter gift or a starter skill"
I see, that seems reasonable. I should now get ready for school, (I.D. Create) and (I.D. Escape) can wait after school.
I headed to the bathroom to complete a bath, thinking that maybe this is not bad at all. Maybe now I can accomplish my dream to be a doctor. And if not then I'd enjoy and live my second life to the fullest. And with (The Gamer) ability, the possibilities are limitless.
AN: And done, so what do you guys think? The Item Tiers and Gradings seems to not be that confusing like I originally did so that's great. Btw, I will say right now that the MC will not join the peerage of either Sona or Rias and become a Devil. He will stay as a human for the earlier chapters, at least. I have a plan to make him a half human, half yokai in later chapter. That's the reason he have The Nature Sensitive Perk. What type of yokai? Now with that I'm not decided yet.
