Thanksgiving With The Morgan's-Ch 1
:Penelope sighed and shook her head as she realized that today was the last day of work for her for a week because of Thanksgiving and she knew that she would once again be alone. She dreaded what she knew was coming, she would be asked by everybody to come spend the holiday with them again and she would refuse as always.
She looked up from her computer and smiled as she saw JJ and Emily walking into her office, she said, "wellllllll hello to you two lovely ladies, now what can the all seeing all knowing oracle do for the two of you today"?, Emily said, "Aaron, Jack and I want you to come with us PG, please come out of town with us for the holiday".
Penelope shook her head and said, "Em, we go through this for every big holiday, every Thanksgiving, every Christmas and every New Years and what do I always tell you"? Emily and JJ sigh and say in unison, "thank you but no thank you now go and have fun" and Penelope said, "exactly, so gooooooo and be free my doves and remember that I love you all and thank you so so so much for the inviataions".
JJ and Emily both hugged their friend and JJ said, "if you change your mind please call one of us and let us know", she said, "I will but I won't change my mind" and the girls weakly smiled and said in unison, "we love youuuuuu". Penelope laughed and said, "I love you all too, so so much, now get out of here and get with those gorgeous husbands and sons of yours and let me shut down my babies and then I'm heading home to relax in a hot tub and then gonna spend the next week doing absolutely nothing".
The girls turned and headed to the door but before stepping out into the hall Emily said, "are you sure"?, Penelope said, "yes Em, yes, I'm positive, now thatnk you but pleaseeee pleaseeeeee go and have fun". JJ and Emily both nodded their heads yes in agreement and disappeared out of her office and headed down the hall toward the elevators to join their husbands and Rossi.
What they didn't know was that Derek was tired of his best girl, his sweetness, his baby girl spending all of the hoidays alone so this year he had a plan,, he was going to persuade her to come to Chicago with him to spend Thanksgiving with him and his family, or so he hoped as he stood there watching her as she continued shutting down her babies.
When she was almost done he knocked on her door and said, "can I come in sweetness"?, she turned around and said, "you angelfish are always and I mean always welcome here in the oracles lair". Derek laughed and said, "well that is definitely good to know sweetness, good to know", he then walked over and plopped down on her desk and looked down at her.
Penelope said, "sooooooo what time are you heading out tonight"?, Derek crossed his arms over his chest and said, "I'm not", she said, "wait, what, did you just say that you're not, why are you not going"?, Derek cupped her face in his hands and said, "I'm not going because weeeeeeee are going as in you and me together".
She shook her head and said, "ohhhhhhh but no we aren't", he smiled at her and said, "ohhhh I think you'll come with me, I can be very persuasive" and she said, "can you now, wellllll your tactics haven't worked so good for ya in the past" Derek said, "that's because this year I have come up with a new tactic".
As she sat there looking at him she said, "really, and just what new tactic is tha" and before she could finish her sentence he pulled her up from her seat and his lips descended on hers in a kiss, not just any kiss but the kind that curls your toes. When they pulled apart she said, "w w what was that", Derek said, "well if you don't know what that was I guess I must have done it wrong" and she shook her head and said, "ohhhh no my vision, you did it correctly but why, why did you just kiss me", he smiled at her as he readied to speak.
Derek caressed her cheek and said, "because I'm finally pulling my head out of my butt and telling you the truth", she said, "the truth, what are you talking about"?, Derek said, "I Derek Michael Morgan am head over heels in love with you". Her mouth flew open and she said "wait, is this what a stroke feels like, am I having a stroke, or maybe just hallucinating, yeah, yeah that's what's happening, I'm hallucinating".
Derek said, "you aren't having a stroke and you're not hallucinating, I love you baby girl, I love you so much, please give us a chance, please come to Chicago and spend Thanksgiving with me and my family". She opened her mouth to say no but found his lips on his again" and when they pulled apart she looked up at him and he grinned as she said, "uh what time is our flight"?, he kissed her lips again gently and said, "at 8:00 sooooooo I'll pick you up at 7:00 okay"?, she stood staring up at him and said, "uh yeah, yeah sounds good".
She watched as he turned around and said, "I'll meet you at the elevator okay"?, she said, "yeah, I'll be right there", he winked at her and said, "I love you baby girl", she said, "I love you to angel fish". He turned around and headed back toward the elevators but grinned as he heard her say, "always have, always will".
