Thanksgiving With The Morgan's-Ch 12
Later that evening Fran was sitting around talking to the girls about their holiday menu, this would be their last chance to add something new for their family and friends to try for dinner. Sarah had asked that she be able to add a few more pies for dessert and Fran happily agreed to that, especially since Sarah was going to be the one making them.
Derek smiled as he watched his baby girl lean in to Fran and ask if it would be okay if she fixed something for dinner", Fran said, "sure honey what do you want to fix"?, Penelope said, "I could fix my famous death by chocolate cake". Derek said, "ohhh yeah momma those are delicious, I could eat a whole one by myself, my girl is awesome at cooking", Penelope blushed and thanked Derek and earned smiles and several nods of agreement.
She was happy, she looked at Derek and said, "we'll need to go to the store tomorrow so that I can get the stuff I need", Derek said, "anything for you sweetness" causing the girls to look at each other and their mom while they had huge smiles on their faces. They were so happy to see that their brother was in love with Penelope, they had never seen him like this before, sure in high school he dated, a lot, especially after he blossomed out and started lifting weights but with Penelope he's different.
Derek and Penelope sat snuggled up on the couch as everybody started watching a movie, around 11 when the movie went off Derek and Penelope excused themselves and headed upstairs to turn in, or so that was their excuse. Fran sighed happily and looked at her daughters and said, "oh yeah I'm definitely getting those grandbabies and I can't waittttttt" causing the girls to laugh as they headed upstairs to their bedrooms.
Penelope grinned as Derek pulled her into his bathroom with him, he leaned in and whispered, "if I can't have you soon I'm going to explode", she laughed and said, "well i can't have my hotstuff busting on me now can I" as they started removing each others clothes and tossing them in a pile on the bathroom floor.
After a couple of rounds of making love in the shower the two retired to Derek's bedroom for another round before falling asleep wrapped in nothing by the covers and each others arms. The next morning Penelope got up and quickly got dressed and made her way downstairs, she needed to talk to Fran about something and she didn't want Derek to know, she wanted it to be a surprise for her hotstuff.
Fran was sitting at the table drinking on a cup of coffee when she saw Penelope walk into the room, she said, "you're up early honey, is something wrong"?, she said, "no, nothing is wrong I just want to talk to you about something before hotstuff gets up, I want it to be a surprise for Thanksgiving dinner" and after hearing that Fran was all ears and sat there listening to Penelope's plan to surprise her son.
When Derek came down stairs a few minutes later he heard his mom and baby girl laughing in the kitchen, he walked over and kissed her on the top of the head first and then kissed his mom on the cheek before sitting down at the table. Fran poured him a cup of coffee and said, "good morning baby boy, how are you this morning"?, he said, "good momma, I'm good, how are you two beautiful ladies"?, Penelope and Fran smiled and said in unison, "great" causing Derek to smile.
Fran stood up and said, "I better get started on breakfast, it won't be long", Derek said, "momma would you like some help"?, she said, "no thank you honey, why don't you and Penelope go in the living room and watch some tv or something I'll let everybody know when breakfast is ready".
Derek stood up and intertwined fingers with Penelope and then grabbed his cup of coffee with his free hand and gently tugged his baby girl through to the living room where they sat down on the couch. Derek looked at her and said, "did I do something wrong"?, she said, "uhhhh, no, what are you talking about handsome"?, he said, "well I woke up alone in a cold bed this morning and I was afraid that I had said or done something wrong".
She kissed his lips gently and said, "no, you didn't do anything wrong, I just woke up and couldn't go back to sleep so I thought I would go ahead and get up and get dressed that's all". He smiled and said, "you sure"?, she said, "positive" as she leaned in and claimed his lips with hers in a passionate kiss, they pulled apart to the sound of Desi and Sarah laughing, Penelope said, "good morning girlies", the girls smiled and said good morning to Derek and Penelope before making their way into the kitchen to help their mom with breakfast.
After enjoying a delicious breakfast Derek watched as Penelope wrote down everything she would need for her part of Thanksgiving dinner and then she winked at Fran before intertwining fingers with Derek and making her way out of the dining room to grab her coat so they could go to the store and grab what she would need for dinner and for the surprise for her hotstuff.
