Thanksgiving With The Morgan's-Ch 14
Today was Tuesday that means that Thanksgiving is in two days, Penelope sighed as she looked over at her sleeping boyfriend, she couldn't believe how fast this week was going and soon they would be heading back home. Derek opened his eyes and smiled at Penelope and said, "what's on that mind of yours and don't say nothing because I can see and hear those wheels cranking over here".
Penelope said, "the week is going by so fast, it's Tuesday already and soon our vacation is over and then we'll go back home and", Derek raised up on his elbow and said, "and you're afraid that everything is going to change once we go home, right"?, she bit down on her bottom lip and nodded her head yes, he frowned and said, "I love you baby girl, haven't I been wooing you like you've never been wooed before"?, she grinned and nodded her head yes.
Derek said, "do you think that all I wanted was to get between your legs, is that it"?, she shook her head and said, "no hotstuff, I didn't say that not at all, it's just what if they won't let us be together at work"?, Derek said, "hellooooo Hotch and Em are married and so are JJ and Reid, they aren't going to say anything to us sweetness".
She looked at him and he said, "I love you, I mean that when I say it, you are the love of my life and I want to spend the rest of my life with you woman, you're it for me, is any of this sinking into that thick brain of yours"?, she laughed and said, "I love you Derek, I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you too".
He rested his forehead against hers and said, "well then we have nothing to worry about then do we"?, she said, "I guess not", Derek said, "well I know not, so let's just enjoy our week off away from unsubs and the others okay"?, she blew out a deep breath and said, "okay, okay, no more stressing, only good thoughts".
Derek kissed her lips gently and said, "that's my girl", she weakly smiled and said, "you know that when we go home we're going to have a lottttttt of questions to answer, right"?, he said, "true, true but for the rest of this week while we're still here let's not think about anything but having fun and about each other", she kissed his lips gently and said, "deal, boy you drive a hard bargain", he lay her back on the bed and said, "ohhhh you don't know the half of it" and she giggled as he hovered over her a few seconds before sliding inside her.
After making love to the man of her dreams they got up, got dressed and headed downstairs where they were met by three curious women, they were wondering why Derek and Penelope didn't come down stairs unitl after noon. Fran couldn't help but smile when she saw Penelope's face turn a bright shade of red, Derek wrapped his arm around her and said, "yessss we were making love, you got a problem with that"?, Fran, Sarah and Desi in unison said, "nope".
Derek said, "baby girl and I are going out for lunch, we'll be back later", Fran said, "alright honey, you guys be careful and have a good time", Derek said ,"we will momma, we will". Penelope smiled and waved as they headed out the front door, after Derek shut the door Fran looked at her daughters and said, "ohhhh yeah I'm definitely getting those grandbabies", Desi and Sarah rolled their eyes and then headed into the kitchen to do one final check to make sure that they had everything they would need for Thanksgiving dinner.
Derek and Penelope pulled into the parking lot of Derek's favorite pizza place, they got out and headed inside, they couldn't help but grin when they saw T-bone, Charlotte and their girls. Charlotte waved them over and the couple happily joined them, Penelope was introduced to their 12 year old twin daughters Carla and Darla, everybody was all smiles, they spent a few minutes talking about the holiday before their placed their order.
While they were waiting for their food to get done Derek and T-bone were talking about houses and Charlotte and Penelope were talking to the twins, they were having some problems with their homework so Penelope offered to help them out. By the time their food arrived Carla and Darla were homework free and ready to enjoy the rest of their holiday time off of school.
The friends laughed, ate and talked for the next couple of hours, Derek was all smiles when he found out that T-bone and his family would be joining them at Frans house for Thanksgiving. He loved spending time with them and Penelope really liked getting to know them and spending more time meant getting to know them even better.
Some time later as the friends parted Penelope and Derek smiled and waved at T and his family and as they pulled out onto the road Derek said, "baby girl if you don't mind their is someplace else I would like to take you". Penelope said, "sure angel fish I am in your hands", he grinned at her and said, "woman are you trying to turn me on right now cause it's working" and the two laughed as they continued on to their destination.
A few minutes later Penelope looked up as Derek said, "we're here", she saw that they were at a cemetery and watched as Derek got out of the SUV and walked around and opened her door. He helped her out and then intertwined their fingers, he sighed and said ,"baby girl I want you to meet my dad", she smiled and said, "I would be honored" and he gently squeezed her hand as they headed from the SUV and up the path that led to Hank Morgan's cemetery plot.
